Chapter 1
"WELCOME TO KYOTO TECH!"
With the others out and about today, Suo Tooru took over the tours for the time being. As of late, thanks to everyone's hard work, the school has fifty students, but today, there maybe three more added.
He was outside as a young family approached, they brought their father or father in law with them. Yet the moment Suo saw them, he welcomed the family. "We were told we could come and see the school without an appointment, is that true?" the young mother asked.
"Of course, there's no point in calling ahead when someone could fix the place up and write up a script to convince you other wise right?... that didn't sound right. I mean, it's to show we have nothing to hide, what you see is what you see…" he explained. "I'm Reggie by the way," He knew he had to introduce himself, so he stuck with the name he uses in public.
She smiled and nodded. "My name is Yuko Ozawa, this is my husband, Yuuji Itadori…"
He froze to this. "Itadori?" he asked in disbelief. "You mean the man who contained the king of curses? THAT Yuuji Itadori?"
They appeared concerned; Yuuji was tucking his family in behind him. "Is something wrong with that?"
He was taken aback by this tone. "HELL NO!" he protested, which startled the family. "Sorry, I were informed what the council did and how you were treated… honestly, we're still very upset about it…"
They suddenly all looked confused. "Upset?" the older man asked.
Suddenly Suo went into a whole rant as to how the elders never looked at the facts before them. "Honestly, you had a one in a million vessel, who contained Sukuna as best as he could, when anyone else would have been destroyed by him instantly. But he stayed firm, he kept him contained to the best of his power… that's hardcore to us."
"Hardcore?" Itadori asked, he turned to his eldest son, who smiled and nodded.
"Honestly man, had we been in charge, we would have done things A LOT differently." He explained had they been in charge, they wouldn't have slated Yuuji for death right off the bat. "Sadly it is an option if needed, but it's often a last resort for us" Suo went on to explain that they would have kept Yuuji at the school, he would still be trained but not sent out on serious missions the way the elders had done so. Otherwise they may accidently have unleashed Sukuna upon the world. "Did they not think there was a chance you could have been knocked out or something?" he demanded.
Suddenly, Itadori shied away. He must have hit a nerve.
"I'm sorry… I didn't mean…"
"It's okay…" Itadori stated. "Can… can we just get on with the tour?"
"Yeah, right this way."

'This is weird, this is very, very weird…'
Yuuji's mind was buzzing right now, and normally it never has such a sensation. Yet, as they were given a tour of the school, he found something odd. When they walked by the teachers and faculty, they would stop… and bow their heads as he walked by. They never lifted them until he had passed, as if it were a sign of respect.
"Dad, they respect you… and they don't even know you" Kiyoshi whispered.
"They are aware" came out of Gege. He tagged along since the school has only jujutsu sorcerers, they wouldn't notice a divine creature walking among them. "I have inspected various areas of the school, there is something underground and yet. I have been ordered by Lady Tiamat to not speak of it."
He paused to the news. "Mom said that?" he whispered.
Gege nodded. "What I did see, will not jeopardize or harm your children." He put bluntly. "Yet what they are doing is rather… disturbing for my tastes."
"So we can't trust them."
"Dad…" Kiyoshi sighed.
All the while, he hung back and watched this Reggie guy explain the school in great detail to Yuko and his father in law. The twins ran off and played in the halls but kept close by.
"ITADORI?"
He paused in his tracks as he turned to see Ijichi.
"Ijichi? What are you doing here?!"
The sorcerer in question is a friend of his sensei, however, he never followed them to the domain, no one knew why, but him that is. Yet, the strange thing was, he didn't appear to be like his old self, a nervous man but stood brave. Now, he's like a whole different person.
"Oh? Have you meet Ijichi before?" asked Reggie.
"Yes, he use to work at the school I went to in Tokyo… but… why is he here?"
Reggie came to a pause as he peered at Ijichi. "Has he wronged you?"
Yuuji was taken aback. "No,"
"Good, had he, we would have fired him instantly."
"What?!" Ijichi said in a bewildered tone. "Why…"
"This council, the elders… we respect what Yuuji Itadori has done and what he endured for the sake of all around him. We don't hold him accountable for what Sukuna did when he took over, the fact remains, that young man had more balls and the three great families put together!"
There was silence in the halls.
Yuuji wasn't use to someone defending him like this, well… Yua did all the time, and she would always hit close to home with her remarks.
"Ahem… sorry, I get a little passionate about things… anyways, yes, Mr. Ijichi has joined us graciously. He is going to be teaching barriers, but at the same time he is also assisting in picking up and dropping students and sorcerers off… so he wanted to keep original aspects of his old job…" Reggie explained.
"Say dad, how about you and Ijichi-sama catch up? I'll stick with mother and grandfather"
Yuuji nodded as Kiyoshi excused himself.
"If you want to meet us later at the stadium," Reggie said. "Ijichi, please bring him there when you two are done talking."
He nodded and the tour went on.
