New year, new month, new aspiration and a new story. A thousand thanks for giving this new story of mine a chance. Some ideas just sprouted in my head and I decided to start writing this but have no fear cause I won't be abandoning 'Naruto: An Uprising Shinobi' as its latest chapter will be dropping sometime soon (If things go well), if you have seen that one I suggested you do cause you may just like it

Chapter 1

Young Naruto had a lot of questions while growing up, 'Who are my parents?', 'Where are they?', 'Am I a demon?', 'Why do the villagers hate him?' These questions were asked of the Hokage time without number but the answers were always the same.

'I can't tell you yet', 'They died in the Kyubi attack', 'You're Naruto', 'Give it some time, they will come around'

These were the answers he always got until one day, on the night of his twelfth birthday when he found a mysterious package at his doorstep with a note which said, 'Keep secret from Lord Hokage.'

Curious yet happy that someone left him a birthday gift, the young boy took the package into his apartment and tore away the wrappings with gusto before flipping the covers over revealing…

"Books?" The Uzumaki muttered, his excitement morphing into confusion, "Why send a bunch of- wait, there are scrolls too?" His confusion grew as he located several scrolls of different colors with a particular one being white but also bearing his name in block letters.

Getting a 'Read me first' vibe from said scroll, the blonde grabbed onto it and after a bit of unfurling read its contents.

Dear Naruto,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and if not there are some health pills in the scroll labeled 'Medicine', take some and by tomorrow you will feel as bright as sunshine.

Now you are probably wondering who sent you this package and why?

For safety reasons I won't be leaving a name but just know that I'm an Uzumaki like yourself and yes the Uzumaki is a clan. Our village and country was wiped out by a united front of rival nations but a few of our clansmen did manage to flee and survive (Read the book titled 'The Uzumaki Clan' for more details, it's a thick red colored book)

Naruto took a look and found said book before he resuming.

Now why this package was sent to you?

It's because for the past three years I've been secretly watching over you and to be frank I'm severely unhappy with the unfair treatment imposed on you by the people of Konoha. Such as exorbitant price tags, sale of expired, rotten or poisoned produce, false accusations, name calling, social bullying, night raids and the bi-weekly breaking ins (I resolved the last two by installing security measures round your apartment room which you will come to understand after reading volume 1 of the Fuinjutsu books)

You probably reported these events to Lord Hokage only to get a reply of 'It will soon get better or they will come around and stop'

Trust me it won't, not until you take matters into your own hands and the only way you can do that is by becoming a powerhouse in both brains and brawn.

The books included in the package cover a variety of subjects which must be covered if one is to survive this kill or be killed world. The colored scrolls lacking titles each contain different necessities, Green – Food Stuff, Blue – Clothes, Red – Kunai and Shuriken sets, Purple – List of Jutsu (both Normal and Special Jutsu), Black – Sealing supplies and White – Toiletries.

At this point you're wondering how you going to read everything before graduation, have no fear as that is still three years away unless you attempt early graduation (which I advice you don't) but I did leave you something to help speed up your learning rate. In the purple scroll is a jutsu called the 'Shadow Clone Jutsu', basically it creates a solid clone who upon being dispelled transfers everything its learnt to the user so you can creates five clones and have them read the books while you attend the academy, when the day is done and they're dispelled you will remember everything they read down to the last letter.

The blonde strongly resisted the urge to grab the purple scroll, 'Letter first, cool jutsu later.'

Now onto whom your parents are and why the villages hate you.

If Naruto wasn't focused before then he was now.

I can only said who you mother is as you finding out who your father is at this moment could be bad for you.

'Was Dad a dangerous guy?' The teen wondered before resuming.

Your mother is no other than Kushina Uzumkai, the Red Hot Habanero and Princess of Whirpool Country. She was evacuated to Konoha shortly before the fall of our country, there she met your father and had you before passing away during the Kyubi attack.

The reason why you are hated is also related to the said attack but before I dive into that lets explain some terms now so that you will have an easy time understanding.

The Kyubi is a tailed beast, a gigantic mass of chakra given consciousness and there are 8 more in the world, now over years shinobi having been trying to harass the power of these beasts which they succeeded by sealing them into individuals which were later called Jinchuriki. Your mother is the 2nd Jinchuriki of the Kyubi, the 1st being Mito Uzumaki the wife of the 1st Hokage.

Now on the day you were born, your mother got attacked by a mysterious individual who was after the tailed beast. Kushina weakened from childbirth couldn't put up a decent fight so the Kyubi was ripped out of her (a process which ended up taking her life) and let loose on the village where it was resisted by the village shinobi force.

The 4th Hokage meanwhile was locked in battle with its master for quite some time before managing to overpower his adversity and send him running for the hills. With that one dealt his attention went to the Kyubi, but there was only one way of restraining a tailed beast and that was to seal them into a human. Kushina was dead so a replacement had to be found but only an Uzumaki could house the beast without exploding and the closest one happened to be you her son.

With a heavy heart the 4th summoned the Death God and sealed the Kyubi into the barely day old child at the cost of his life. His dying wish was for young Naruto to be seen as hero for imprisoning the beast.

If his wish was respected, you probably won't be reading this.

Wipe those tears boy and take destiny into your own hand.

Hokage Tower

Hiruzen gazed into his crystal ball and didn't like what he was seeing, "He has changed," The aged man muttered as he watched a red haired teen on a black jacket with red pants walk out of the Shinobi academy while ignoring everyone and everything around him.

'This is bad.' The elder thought before cancelling the jutsu, 'With no physical, social or mental attachment the chances of him fleeing the village are already high enough, if he finds out about that and what's to come then…' A shake of the head quickly dismissed the assumption, 'I have to fix this or at least lessen the damage somehow.'

"Cat!"

"Hai!" Said ANBU appeared nearly instantly.

"Summon Anko Mitarashi."

The ANBU bowed before vanishing in a twirl of leaves.

'A kindred spirit will have to do for now.' Hiruzen nodded.

Streets of Konoha

"Kurama are we being followed?" The redhead inquired of his tenant.

"Yes and it's the usual customer."

"Hinata or the ANBU?"

"The masked wearers."

Naruto took a look over his shoulder and spotted three individuals – Two males and one female, who were blending in with the crowd, "Their chakra is suppressed to the limit plus they even went casual this time." He noted.

"They need to work on their acting skills though," The Fox added, "The lack of negative emotions made them easy to spot."

"True," The Uzumaki agreed as he took a turn down an alley before vanishing in a gust of wind. Seconds later a male much older with dark brown hair and matching eyes took the same turn only to arrive at a dead end.

"Where did he go?" He muttered, eyes glancing all over the place.

"You lost him?" His companion questioned after catching up, "Hokage-sama won't like this."

"My apologies."

The female sighed, "Not much that can do now." She turned to the other, "What now?"

"Same as always… We watch over his apartment, he has to return at some point."

Training Ground 43

"Yo." Naruto greeted as he reappeared before a group of shadow clones, his shadow clones.

"Boss?"

"You're back?"

"Six hours sure flew by."

"Maybe for you guys but for me it was crawling," Naruto said with a frown, "Mizuki-sensei had to fill in for another teacher so we were struck with him the entire day." Knowing how boring said sensei's teachings are, the clones truly felt sorry for the original, "Well you know the drill, dispel in groups of 5."

"Hai!"

POOF!

The Uzumaki blinked as his brain was assaulted with knowledge, "They really out did themselves." The redhead praised as he went through what his clones has accomplished.

"You have come a long a way," Kurama pointed out, "In just two years you went from a pitiful weakling to an Alpha male worthy of being my container."

Naruto agreed wholeheartedly with his tenant, his past self of a year ago was a weakling with unattainable dreams.

'I was such an idiot back then.' The redhead grimaced as the memories surfaced, pulling pranks, wearing that atrocious outfit, declaring love to a girl who demeaned him on a daily basis and desiring to be the leader of a Village whose residents hated his every existence.

" Pretty sure 'Idiot' is an understatement here."

"But things are different now," Naruto muttered as he stared as his two hands before clenching them, "My change caused quite the scare but everyone has realized that I'm not one to be walked over anymore even Lord Hokage."

"His expression which you pointed out your status as my Jinchuriki was priceless."

"Yeah," The Uzumaki recalled that event which occurred half a year ago, apparently the 3rd Hokage was curious about the boy's massive improvement and summoned him to the Hokage office for questioning, but Naruto refused to reveal his methods and instead questioned the aged leader on why his status as the Kyubi's Jinchuriki was made public to the rest of the villagers especially the adults but kept secret from him.

Hiruzen was so dumbfounded that he couldn't reply, and upon seeing that he won't be getting an answer anytime soon, Naruto stood up and to his surprise was allowed leave the office and building without anyone trying to stop him.

Even now the Uzumaki is still surprised that the Hokage hasn't tried to summon him again but rather increased ANBU surveillance which could easily be foiled by shadow clones.

"Off for a spin?" Kurama questioned after the redhead had sealed away all the training equipment.

"You bet." His host replied before glancing towards his west where the entrance of Training Ground 44, also known as The Forest of Death, was located.

Hokage Office

"Not happening."

"Why?"

Anko looked insulted, "Have you forgotten what happened the last time she enrolled?" Her fingers counted down, "Bullying, unjust expulsion from classes, false accusations, destruction of personal property, alleged vandalism and most importantly attempted murder by one of the teachers."

Hiruzen frowned at the reminder, "That was in past and those accountable have be held responsible for their crimes, such incidents won't happen now." Seeing the woman still firm in her decision, the aged leader decided to target her weak spot.

"Misa-chan still desires to be a shinobi right?"

Anko flinched, "That's-"

The Hokage halted her with a raised hand while grabbing a cigar with the other, "She just needs to join the final year, pass and be placed under your wing."

"Under my wing?" The Special Jonin gained a surprised look, "Does that mean…"

"Yes, your promotion has been long overdue," Hiruzen took a whiff then exhaled, "During the next council meeting I will force the issue through." The Hokage promised.

Anko was now skeptical, 'What's he up to?' She asked herself.

For the past two years her Jonin promotion had been held back on the suspicion of her being a spy of Orochimaru, but now the Hokage is willing to force it through if her ward joins the final year class?

'I don't like this.' She concluded.

"So, what do you think?" Hiruzen asked.

"When is the Graduation exam?"

"In 3 months."

"… I will talk with Misa first, then get back to you."

"I expect good news."

Once out of the office, the scantily clad woman had one destination in mind – The Academy, 'Iruka-kun is in charge of the Final Year students, he should know their respective personalities.'

Forest of Death, Middle Region

"Hmm, this place will do." Naruto accepted before flaring his chakra.

Crack!

The Uzumaki cancelled the technique and faced the direction where the sound originated.

Crack! Snap!

"There we go," The Jinchuriki mouthed as his first prey, a saber toothed tiger, came into sight. Taking off the black fingerless gloves from his hands, Naruto tested out his first jutsu.

"Chakra Mold: Katana!" The overlapping diamonds on his palm glowed before projecting chakra in the shape of said weapon, "Sweet."

Seeing its lunch suddenly armed, the tiger took a step back and roared into the sky.

Crack! Snap!

"Calling reinforcements," Naruto noted as two more appeared, one on each of his sides leaving the back as the only escape route not that the Uzumaki is planning on fleeing in the first place.

"Chakra Blade: Crescent Slash!" The first was bisected diagonally in half causing the other two to freeze up, "Shade Style: Judgment Beam!" A beam of chakra blow up the one to his left, "Okay, this is boring."

"These cats are just a warm up," Kyubi yawned, "Oh, one's running away." He pointed out.

"Judgement!" A sole blast finished the job, "Off to the Spiders Den, maybe they will put up more of a fight-"

ROOOOOAAARRRRRR!

Naruto jolted and a stared in the direction, "Is that?"

"Judging from this amount of pressure it's probably a powerful mutant." That was all the Jinchuriki needed to know before he took off in said direction, "You sure about this? It may be too much for you."

"If it is, I will retreat and try some other time but now I just want to see how I measure up." The redhead replied as he passed the boundary which demarcated the Middle Region from the Deep one.

"Hmm." The Kyubi hummed. Of all the creatures who claimed the Forest of Death as their home, mutants were said to be at least A-rank and most Jonin candidates were required to beat one. His container going up against such creature should be interesting if nothing else.

Drawing closer Naruto picked up sounds of a battle, "Seems someone beat me to it."

"Most mutants won't make a fuss until someone stepped into their territory."

With a sigh the Uzumaki slowed down, "Guess I will watch then." He dispelled his weapon and walked into the opening only to let out a whistle in admiration.

Not too far away was the mutant, an overgrown lizard measuring 3 meters high and over 10 meters long with large spikes lining its spine and tail. Its mouth was open wide and judging from the reddish glow was about to unleash a breath attack at its opponent.

Turning to said opponent Naruto was surprised to see a girl of all people. She had appeared to a year older than him, possessing a slender yet mature build with long purple hair and bright yellow eyes. Her outfit consisted of a strapless black dress which revealed her shoulders and a bit of chest. On her arms and legs respectively were black armguards and thigh-high boots.

The Uzumaki also noted the choker round her neck and the purple bands which lined the top and sides of her outfit.

"Ogling a girl you just met."

"I'm appreciating her outfit."

"More like her long legs and bountiful chest."

"Shut it."

Ignoring the tailed beast's laugh, the Uzumaki watched the battle play out as the girl jumped a tail swipe which tore a tree in half then slid under a claw slash which sliced a couple more before backing away as the lizard powered its breath attack.

VVOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRR!

A crimson beam erupted from mutant's mouth but a quick substitution resulted in the female reappearing on the left of the distracted beast and charging forward.

"Snake Arm: Thorn Fangs!" Naruto raised a brow when her right arm transformed into black snake which spat out fanged projectiles which penetrated the mutant's unprotected side resulting in a loud pain filled screech.

Performing a jump just before the creature faced its left, the purple haired landed beside its right side and grabbing a Wakizashi which was regurgitated from her snake arm with her left hand, stabbed it into the beast's right side and took off running resulting in a nasty and painful gash if the much louder screech was any indication.

Leaping over a tail which was launched in retaliation, the female arrived at the mutant's backside and targeted one of its hind legs.

"Snake Arm: Shackling Chains!" Chains shot out and latched on before a sharp pull resulted in the large lizard falling on its belly and entering a daze state.

Not one to miss a chance, the yellow eyed female breezed through hand seals with both her normal and snake hands, a sight which caused her audience to perform a double take, and slamming her left hand onto the ground called out the jutsu.

"Earth Style: Terra Bind!"

Blocks of earth shot up and locked onto the mutant's limbs trapping it in place, with the purple haired already performing another set of seals just as her opponent snapped out of its daze and began to struggle.

ROOAARRR!

"Fire Style: Fire Run!"

The lizard broke free of its restrains only to be surrounded by a wall of flames in all direction.

"Wind Style: Divine Wind!" An arm slashed forward conjuring hurricane force winds which imparted the flames and amplified them, "Firestorm!"

KABOOM!

SSSHHRRRIIIIEEEEERRRRRKKKKK!

Naruto hidden on top a tree some meters away whistled at the flaming twister, "She's good." He acknowledged.

"Indeed." His tenant agreed, "But will it be enough?"

The Uzumaki sent out a chakra pulse to confirm, "No, it's not."

He was right as a tail whipped out of the twister and slammed a homerun, blasting the girl to the other side of the opening and back first into the tree Naruto was perched on.

"Oi." The boy cried as he shaken off but performing a twist in midair landed safely on his feet.

"Ugh." Glancing to his left, he spotted the girl regain her bearing before staring at him in confusion.

"Yo!" He casually greeted.

"… Hello?"

ROOAARRR!

The reptile now free from its flaming prison locked onto the cause of its wounds and opened wide its maw which lit up with a red glow.

Sensing a breath attack, Naruto got in front of the girl and thrust out his right palm with its diamond mark lightning up.

VVOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRR!

"Shade Style: Black Hole!"

The purple haired watched in amazement as the red haired male in front of her absorbed the entire breath into his palm, "Whoa!"

Done absorbing the attack, Naruto felt a strange sensation all over his body before it was suddenly purged, "Kurama?"

"Careful brat," The tailed beast warned, "that much nature energy would have turned you to stone if I hadn't neutralized it."

"Thanks." The Uzumaki said from the bottom of his heart, earning a grunt from the fox before it went silent, "So it uses nature energy," The boy muttered as he recalled the benefits of utilizing nature energy, "That explains how it survived Firestorm-"

"Hey Red!" A voiced interrupted and the Uzumaki remembered the girl behind him.

"Yes?" The redhead answered, eyes still locked on the now cautious mutant.

The female walked over to his side, yellow eyes gazing at him with a hint of interest, "Do you have anything capable of beating Lizard Breath in one go?" She asked.

The Uzumaki raised a brow, "Isn't it your prey?"

"I don't mind sharing," She shrugged, "I just want it dead."

"Hmm," Naruto went through his mental catalogue of techniques, "can you buy me some time Miss…"

"Misa," The girl answered, "How much time do you need?"

"2 minutes."

"I can do that."

Grabbing a kusarigama (Chain and Nail) from her snake arm and swinging it overhead, the female bent down into an unusual stance, her purple hair spreading out in a fan like manner before she shot off like a rocket.

BOOM!

The redhead whistled once again, "She's fast."

"You're ogling again."

Naruto's eye twitched as he reigned in a retort, taking off his jacket and undershirt so that it won't get damaged, the Uzumaki channeled chakra to his back manifesting a large diamond mark similar to the one on his right palm.

ROOOAAAARRRRRR!

"Oh shut up!" Misa cried as she launched the weight of her weapon at the mutant's face taking its attention off Naruto as it raised an arm to intercept only for the female to coil it round said arm then using the chain as a bungee cord sprung her up to the lizard's face.

"Take this!" Her nail stabbed forward only to miss by centimeters as the mutant drew back and opened its maw, "Tch!" She scowled before replacing herself with a fallen branch which was shortly bitten in half.

Reappearing beside a tree Misa quickly gave lizard breath a look over and wasn't happy with the results, "Its wounds are closing up," She muttered as several of the injuries inflicted upon the creature were missing, "Nature energy huh," The girl recalled the redhead saying something about its breath containing that stuff.

"I will have go through His journals again, maybe this-"

ROAR!

"Oh? You finally found me?" The purple haired inquired as the mutant spat out the remains of the branch before glaring in her direction.

Stepping in front of the tree and giving a 'come here' taunt, Misa couldn't suppress her grin as the lizard took the bait, 'Too easy.'

ROAR!

The mutant charged at an incredible speed hoping to trample the female, but the latter surprised the former when she leapt back against the tree and then with a burst of chakra shot forward like a missile with a savage grin across her face.

Instincts kicking in made the lizard duck down allowing the purple haired to harmlessly fly over and land on the other side of the opening. Slowing down and taking a turn, the mutant attempted to charge once again but stopped as Misa had one of her hands in seal.

HISSSSSSSSSSSS

Turning it's head, the mutant spotted several glowing papers along its back.

KA! KA! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

"Ah, music to my ears," The girl sighed as the sounds of explosions and pained shrieks echoed across the opening, "what a pleasant tune indeed."

KA! KA! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Naruto looked up at the sound of explosions and was impressed by what he saw, "Nice," The Uzumaki commented as a couple of the mutant's wounds reopened along with the formation of new ones.

"10 seconds remaining!"

Nodding at the reminder Naruto finished up a set of hand seals and focused his chakra, the diamond mark on his back glowing before the redhead activated his latest technique.

"Shade Style: Chakra Mold: Adamantine Sealing Chains!"

Blue colored chains spurted from the Uzumaki's back before they coiled round and shot forward latching onto each and every one of the mutant's limbs, "Gotcha!"

ROARR!

The injured lizard began to trash around making it difficult for Naruto to carry out the next attack.

"Wind Style: Pressure Damage!" Leaping overhead, Misa fired a column of wind down on the mutant's skull.

BAM!

The creature shrieked in surprise as it was once again forced down on its belly.

"Guillotine!"

The chains lit up before expelling chakra which formed two upright posts surmounted by a crossbeam with an oblique-edged blade between them.

"Fall!"

The blade fell and sliced through the mutant's neck separating head from body with blood instantly gushing out like a fountain.

"Whoa!" Was all the Uzumaki could say as his chains and guillotine scattered into blue particles which then floated into the sky, 'Hard to believe a clone of mine imagined a jutsu as deadly as this.'

"He did great work," Kurama praised much to his host's surprise, "This move is capable of taking out Jonin level opponents through the startup is a bit slow."

Naruto agreed with him there, 'I will have some clones work on that.' He sensed the purple haired walking towards him and cut the connection to the Tailed beast before turning round and giving her a nervous laugh, "Seems like I shocked you a bit."

Misa snorted, "I wouldn't say 'A bit', but yes you did shock me with that deadly move Mr..." She trailed off and the Jinchuriki realized that he hasn't told her his name despite knowing her.

"Naruto Uzumaki, that's my name." Done answering the redhead braced himself for the usual reaction.

"Naruto… Uzumaki?"

'Here it come.'

The purple haired stared at her junior for a while before closing the distance and saying, "I thought you were a lot shorter."

"Huh?"

"And had blonde hair," She raised her right hand and ran it through the boy's locks, "But red does suit you better and the clothes are really nice too."

Caught off guard, the Jinchuriki just mouthed what came to mind, "Umm thanks, I think your clothes are nice too."

Misa smirked before leaning forward, "You won't happen to be the one ogling me while I was fighting lizard breath would you?" Seeing that the Uzumaki stiffen was all the answer she needed, "Pervert!" She giggled, snapping the boy out of the state.

"I am not." The Jinchuriki refuted.

"Yes, you are." The girl insisted.

"No, I'm not!"

"Yes, you are."

"No, I'm not!"

"Are."

"Not!"

"Are."

"Not!"

"Are."

"Not!"

"Are."

"Not!"

"Are."

"Not!"

"Are- wait a minute, you tricked me!" Misa was already on the ground laughing her guts out while the redhead fumed for falling to such a simple trick.

"She got you good."

'Shut it!'

The purple haired eventually got back on her feet, "I needed that." She smiled.

"And I'm happy to be of need." The Uzumaki sulked before letting out a sigh, "So what do you pick a fight with lizard breath?"

Her smile instantly went flat, "… I just needed something to vent my frustrations on."

The 14 year old couldn't believe his ears, glancing at the lizard then back to the girl he had to ask, "Why a mutant when there are several less threatening creatures?"

"I've been hunting those for close to a decade now, they no longer function as stress relief to me anymore." Misa pointed out.

'Close to a decade? Who is crazy enough to send a 5 year old into this place.'

The purple haired seemed to have read his mind, "My guardian is a good person but she tends to do some crazy stuff from time to time." She laughed nervously.

"I see," Naruto muttered before switching topics, "So what made you frustrated enough to fight a mutant?"

"Ah, one of my latest… concoctions failed to cure a friend of mine."

'Concoctions?' Naruto raised a brow at the chosen word but decided not to comment on it, "So what's his/her ailment?"

Misa's hesitation was clear this time, "I'm not at liberty to say." She gave him an apologetic look.

The Uzumaki understood her circumstance, "It's okay, but it does make it difficult for me to help you."

"Help me?" The girl asked in surprise as the redhead slipped his right hand between the zip faster of his jacket.

Accessing a seal on the underside of his jacket, Naruto retrieved an object from said seal and presented it to the purple haired, "This should help."

Misa recognized the object to be a health pill, one that helps relieve symptoms of most illnesses, "I've tried those and they didn't work."

Naruto just smiled, "This is quite different from the ones manufactured here."

Curious the purple haired accepted the pill, "On closer look it does look different," She scratched a bit off and placed it on her tongue before making a face, "Tastes horrible!"

"A wise man did say that the best pills taste like shit." The Jinchuriki added, partly amused by her reaction.

"No argument there," Misa agreed as her arm morphed into a snake which swallowed the pill much to the Uzumaki's surprise, "So what do you want in return?"

"What make you think I want something in return?"

The girl rolled both of her eyes, "Its common sense, guys only lend a hand because they want something, especially when the person they're helping is a gorgeous girl like me."

"… She does have a point."

"Mhmm," Misa hummed, "The villagers won't take this well." She revealed.

The Jinchuriki shrugged, "I don't care about them."

"Lord Hokage will be curious."

"Won't be the first or the last time."

"You will learn some nasty stuff about me."

"Same here."

Grins appeared on both faces, "Then I see no reason to decline."

"Sweet."

"But," She halted his horses, "Only after the pill is proven effective," Misa pointed out, "If it is then you gain two at the price of one."

The boy smiled, "Well then-" He stiffened before glancing toward his left, "ANBU agents are approaching!"

Misa's eyes widened as she realized why, "They're probably here to investigate our battle with lizard breath."

"We have to go our separate ways, I live at-"

"Don't worry, if the pill works I will certainly find you." With that said, she immediately dashed into the forest and was soon out of sight.

"Looks my luck is turning round," The teen smiled before vanishing in a twirl of leaves.

A minute later the black corps arrived at the clearing only to find it battled with a corpse of an A-rank mutant situated right in the middle.
