(A/N) Ladies and gentlemen! The weirdest request I was able to create into an actual story. Man, was this a tough one. Let's just say off the bat, nothing will be the same. That's all I'll give you. Hope you enjoy.

We cut down to an old Viking village with pillars lighting up the sea for upcoming ships to be on alert. The entire village was asleep, but that was all about to change as the lights are dimmed through the village.

"This is Berk. It's twelve days north of Hopeless and a few degrees south of freezing to death. It's located solidly on the meridian of misery." A young male voice starts to narrate as we look over the village.

"Our village, in a word, sturdy. It's been here for seven generations, but every single building is new." A young female voice took over for him.

"We have fishing, hunting, and a charming view of the sunsets. The only problems are the pests." The male voice returned as we look down on a farm and a herd of sheep.

A sheep bleated loudly as it was ripped from the ground. The sheep next to it seemed unfazed by this and took its place and chomped on the grass as if nothing had happened.

"You see, most places only get mice or mosquitoes, we have..." The female voice returned to finish it off.

Hiccup was awoken by noise outside his home and went to check it out while his adoptive sister was also awoken by the noise.

He is rather scrawny for his age, compared to the other Vikings, and isn't very tall, being around his sister's height. He has little physical strength, he has bell-shaped auburn hair parting to his right with freckles on his cheeks and dull, green eyes. One of his more unique traits is a small, white scar just below his bottom lip on the right side of his chin, which he received as a baby.

He was wearing a long-sleeve, light-green woolen tunic with brown leather lacing at the neck and arms, a dark brown fur vest that matches his boots, and dark greyish-green pants with lacing at the ankle.

His sister, Elsa, has platinum-blonde hair and blue eyes, very pale skin with a light dusting of freckles, and a tall slender figure. She wears her hair in a side braid woven with ice incrustations. She wore wears a blue shirt with a short red vest over it, an ice pin she made holding them together, and a pouch on her belt.

Elsa followed Hiccup down the stairs of their home and made it to the front door where Hiccup opened it.

But the second he did, Hiccup noticed a few of the neighbors running away from a Monstrous Nightmare chasing after them and the sheep they were carrying.

Hiccup jumped before slamming their door shut as a firewall was launched at it. Elsa worked fast and used her ice powers to stop the flames from spreading throughout the house more than it already has

"Dragons…" Hiccup said and knew it was another raid night.

Berk had become a war zone with many dragons overrunning it by setting fire to the houses. All the people we're running to rescue the sheep from the dragons. One of them to the point leaping after a Deadly Nadder and holding onto the sheep in its claws. Another punching a Gronckle while being stuck in between its teeth.

"Most people would leave. Not us. We're Vikings. We have stubbornness issues." Hiccup was sorry to say.

The kids pushed their door open once again and ran out of the house. Hiccup started to run through the madness to help somehow whilst Elsa put out the fire on the outside of their house.

"My name's Hiccup." He introduces himself.

"And I'm Elsa." The girl introduced herself as she was shooting a small fire with ice before it could grow into a problem.

"Great name, I know," Hiccup added. "And I know what you're thinking. How can one of us have a normal name and the other being...Hiccup?"

"The truth is I was adopted by the Haddock's," Elsa explained. "When I was little, my family died in a dragon attack. The fire burned down our home, and I was the only survivor. My parents were friends with the Chief, so he decided to raise me as his own."

"But Hiccup's not the worst name I could've been given. Parents believe a hideous name will ward off gnomes and trolls. Like our charming Viking demeanor wouldn't do that." Hiccup assured the people.

They continued running through the village, trying not to bump into people. As they made their way through, even with Elsa helping by stopping the flames, they still got shouted at.

"What are you doing here?"

"Get inside!"

"What are you doing out?"

"Get back inside!"

They ignored all these commands and continued running through the village. They moved left and right, trying to dodge fireballs and other Vikings.

As they made their way through, they missed the Nadder coming down to shoot a line of flames and were saved at the last second. "HICCUP! ELSA!" Suddenly a hand grabs them both by their collars and hoists them up off the ground before getting roasted by a Nadder.

The man who saved them was a big man, with green eyes and red hair. Towering over most Vikings, his presence alone demonstrated the might of the Berkian chief. Like almost all Viking men, he had a very large and muscular figure that intimidated those who crossed his path. He had barely visible freckles, and his red hair was braided at the back.

The trend of braiding carried on his beard which was intricate in its many strands. His usual attire consisted of a large fur cloak draped over his shoulder, a dark green cloth from shoulder to knee, metal shoulder pads, a chainmail tunic with striped pants and fur boots, and a large horned helmet that is supposedly crafted from half of Valka's breastplate. He also wore rounded-spiked braces over his wrists.

"What are they doin' out again? What are you both doing out? Get inside!" He demanded as he pushed them both back towards the house.

"That's Stoick the Vast, Chief of the tribe." Hiccup continued to narrate.

"They say that when he was a baby, he popped a dragons' head clean off of its shoulders." Elsa finished his statement.

"Do we believe it?" Hiccup questions.

Stoick then picked up a broken catapult and put it to use by smacking a Nadder carrying a sheep down.

"Without a doubt." Elsa answers.

"What have we got?" Stoick asked the people.

A nearby Viking responded with. "Gronckle's, Nadder's, Zippleback's. Oh, and Horak saw a Monstrous Nightmare."

An explosion went off nearby, causing fire and ashes to fly everywhere. A small piece landed on Stoick, but he just wiped it off before it could burn his clothes."

"Any Night Fury's?" Stoick asked as if nothing happened.

"None so far." He replied.

"Good," Stoick replied.

They then light the torches and raised them to get an Ariel view of the dragons flying around.

As soon as they entered a forge, Hiccup took off his brown fur vest and replaced it with his apron, while Elsa just kept the clothes she was wearing on. She was just waiting for a chance to get out there again and help her village.

"Growing up, let's say Elsa's power wasn't exactly welcomed." Hiccup continued. "People calling her a witch, demanding she is burned at the stake."

"But Stoick kept me safe, made me believe I was given these powers for a reason." Elsa continued. "But every chance I get to show how much I can do, I always end up causing more problems. To the point, I accidentally caused an eternal winter at one point. When I was eight."

"Yeah, it wasn't the best day for anyone." Hiccup admitted. "But she's been getting amazing control over it since then, it's just the village isn't exactly keen on forgiveness. Or kindness."

"Oh, nice of you both to join the party. I thought you'd been carried off." Gobber, the blacksmith, told Hiccup as he raced to his station.

"Wha-Who? Me? Nah, come on, we are way too muscular for their taste," Hiccup said as he lifted a heavy hammer up and put it on some nails on the wall. "I mean, they wouldn't know what to do with all…this!"

Hiccup struck a muscular pose, exposing the 'muscles' in my arms. The blacksmith rolled his eyes while Elsa just laughed at her brother.

"Well, they need toothpicks, don't they?" Gobber asked as he changed his replaceable hand as Hiccup opened the small doors. Vikings came up at once with a few swords, urging for them to hurry and fix them.

"The meathead with the attitude and the interchangeable hands is Gobber. I've been his apprentice ever since I was little. Well…littler." Hiccup explained his relationship with Gobber as he was picking the weapons from the Vikings.

As they continued to work, Hiccup managed to lean his head to the side so he could peak outside. Still chaos, all around as he looked over to the side and he saw a house suddenly burst into flames.

"See? Old village, lots and lots of new houses." Elsa mentioned as she quickly made it outside and used her powers to take down the flames, ignoring the protests from the people.

"FIRE!" Someone called out.

"Alright, let's go!"

Hiccup whipped his head around and leaned out the window to look outside. He could see a large barrel being pulled by a crate, and around it, they saw five figures, all of them carrying buckets of water. They were the only other teens in the village.

You don't want to know what happened to the others.

"Oh, that's Fishlegs, Snotlout, the Twins, Ruffnut and Tuffnut, and…Astrid." Hiccup said as he watched the teens putting out the fire with buckets. "Ohh…their job is so much cooler."

Hiccup leaned more out the window but was suddenly hooked up under his collar and yanked him up, so his feet were off the ground, by Gobber.

"Aww, Gobber!" Hiccup wined as he was dangling like a salmon. "Come on! Let me out, please! I need to make my mark!"

"Oh, you've made plenty of marks all in the wrong places!" Gobber said as he poked Hiccup's stomach with his hook.

"Please, just give me two minutes!" Hiccup begged. "I'll kill a dragon; my life will get infinitely better." He then gestured to outside the blacksmith. "I might even get a date."

"You can't lift a hammer, you can't swing an ax, you can't even throw one of these," Gobber said as he held up a large bola in his hand.

A second later it was snatched away by another Viking who used it to take down a Gronckle. Ignoring Gobber, Hiccup pushed past him and walked back towards his bola-launcher.

"Okay, fine, but this will throw it for me." Hiccup said as he walked over and patted the surface of his invention, which somehow accidentally triggered it.

It then sent a bola inside of it flying across the blacksmiths. Gobber dodged it and it flew out the window, hitting another Viking in the face.

Elsa hissed as he hit the ground with a loud thud when she re-entered the blacksmiths and watched what happened.

"Sorry!" Elsa called out for Hiccup.

"See, now this right here is what I'm talkin' about!" Gobber said sternly, marching up to Hiccup.

Hiccup shook my head. "Mild calibration issue…"

"If either of you ever wants to get out there to fight dragons, you need to stop all…this." Gobber gestured his arms all over them both.

"But you just pointed to all of us!" Elsa stated, unsure she's following.

"Yes! That's it! Stop being all of you." Gobber informed them.

"Oooh…" Hiccup said sarcastically.

"Oh, yes," Gobber mimicked.

"You, sir, are playing a very dangerous game," Hiccup said, trying to sound threatening. "Keeping this much, raw…Viking-ness contained. There will be consequences!"

"I'll take my chances," Gobber replied, unaffected or even scared as he tossed a sword into Hiccup's and Elsa's arms. "Swords. Sharpen. Now."

"Ugh, w-whatever," Elsa grunted.

They lift the sword in their arms and lay it on the grinding wheel and start to sharpen it, concentrating carefully.

"One day we'll get out there," Elsa promised.

"Because killing a dragon is everything around here." Hiccup agreed mentally.

Outside, a Nadder was ripping a farm apart and taking sheep with them as they flew off.

"A Nadder head is sure to get us at least noticed," Elsa explained how things work around Berk.

A Gronckle picked at a row of meat and flew off with it in its mouth and another carries a mouthful of fish.

"Gronkles are tough. Taking down one of those would definitely get me a girlfriend." Hiccup added, Elsa not looking for anyone as she's more focused on this gift of hers and isn't interested in dating anyone.

A Zippleback was a dragon with two heads, one releasing gas inside a house and the other using a spark to burn the house down.

"A Zippleback? Exotic; two heads, twice the status. A head each sounds good enough for us." Elsa added on, easily willing to share the status.

"They found the sheep!" A Viking cried.

"Concentrate fire over the lower bank!" Stoick demanded him as they aimed the bigger catapults and took the dragons down.

"And then there's the Monstrous Nightmare." Hiccup said. "Only the best Vikings go after those. They have this nasty habit of setting themselves on fire."

Stoick looked down at the dock of the catapult as it was engulfed in flames by a Nightmare.

"Reload!" Stoick told them. "I'll take care of this." He then started to fight the Nightmare with a weapon in his hand.

"But the ultimate prize is the dragons that no one has ever seen," Elsa said as they all heard the ear-piercing screech fill the air. "We call it the-

"Night Fury!"

"Get down!"

BOOM!

The sound of the catapult exploding filled the air. The two stopped sharpening the sword and looked out the window, staring up at the sky. The blast caused Stoick to abandon the catapult and jump off the ledge.

"This thing never steals food, never shows itself, and…" Hiccup said when another shot came in and blasted another catapult farther away. The speed on this one dragon amazes just about everyone.

"Never misses," Elsa added on. "No one has ever killed a Night Fury."

"That's why we're gonna be the first." Hiccup stated.

Hiccup and Elsa turned around and went back inside the stall. Once they did, they saw Gobber trade his hammer hand for a large ax to help the people.

"Man the fort, you two. They need me out there!" Gobber said and headed for the door, then stopped and turned to face them and pointed at them. "Stay…Put…There…Yah know what I mean!"

They stared at him, looking at one another as they had no idea what to say when he gave a loud yell and ran into the fire. The siblings then looked to one another as they both have the same idea. Do the exact opposite of what he said.

Elsa quickly grabbed her brother's launcher, while Hiccup put his vest back on and pushed it outside through the cluster of Vikings. They swerved it through the mayhem, just narrowly avoiding other people.

"Kids, where are you going?"

"Come back here!"

"I know, be right back!" Hiccup called out.

Elsa blasted all of the fires that they ran past while running and tried to get to a clearing. While they were doing that, Stoick was taking down the Nadder's before they could steal the sheep.

They continued running until they came to the top of a large cliff. they brought the launcher to the edge and dropped the handles on the ground. Hiccup unfolded it, cranking several levers, and bowed the arms. Elsa dropped a bola into a chamber and Hiccup pointed the weapon up towards the sky. Hiccup stood there, waiting for something to present itself whilst Elsa stood guard to keep Hiccup safe.

"C'mon," Hiccup muttered. "Give me something to shoot at, give me something to shoot at…"

They stared up at the sky, listening carefully for something, anything. Then there was a loud whistling sound that started echoing, slowly growing louder and louder. They thought they could see a black shape against the dark blue sky. As Hiccup was focusing on that, Elsa swore she saw a small white figure alongside it. Like another Night Fury?

Could there be two of them?

There was a loud swooshing sound, and another tower was blasted at and burst into flames. Taking careful aim at the creature, Hiccup quickly pulled the trigger. Once he did, the force pushed him back and he fell flat on his back.

"Hiccup!" Elsa cried as she ran over to help him up.

Hiccup sat up as quickly as he could and looked up as they heard a loud screech fill the air. They saw the dragon fall, passing them so they could see the dark figure falling and crashing down just off Raven Point.

Two seconds of shocked silence followed as they stared in amazement.

"You hit it?" Elsa said in surprise.

Hiccup smiled as he realized that he did. He hit it. He jumped up, yelling in triumph and joy. "Yes, I hit it! Did anybody else see that?"

But their victory was not to last. Behind them, there was a loud crashing sound mixed with the sound of splintering wood. They flinched, then slowly turned around to see a large Monstrous Nightmare, its large foot on top of what was left of Hiccup's launcher.

"Except for you," Hiccup said bluntly.

The Nightmare reared its head back, a low grow building in its throat, and small flames flaring from its nostrils. They knew exactly what that meant.

"Run!" Elsa cried as she blasted the Nightmare with her ice to hold it back and raced after Hiccup.

Without hesitating, Hiccup turned and started sprinting as fast as he could when Elsa told him to, the Nightmare trying to snap at them the whole way.

They ran back into the village, dodging fire being blasts at them. Thinking where they could just hide, Hiccup dragged his sister behind a brazier pole and waited.

A blast of fire hit it, surrounding the whole thing and just barely missing them. Hiccup turned around, avoiding the flames, and tried to see if the Nightmare was still there.

The Nightmare came round the other side ready to finish them off. Suddenly the Chief seemed to jump out of nowhere and tackled the dragon.

They had a small stare-off, and the dragon tried to blast more of its fire, but only ended up spitting it out. The dragon gave a look that said 'uh-oh' as the chief had a look of indifference on.

"You're all out." Stoick was happy to say

He marched forward, raising his beefy fists. He punched and kicked the Nightmare before it backed up and flew away.

Suddenly the pole Hiccup and Elsa were standing behind broke due to the base being on fire. It fell to the side, exposing them; just standing there knowing they were in for it.

"Oh, and there's one more thing you need to know…"

The iron basket that was once on top of the pole bounced down the hill, destroying everything in its path, and scattering all the Vikings. They hissed, winced, and made a couple of facial expressions as they watched the destruction.

"Sorry, dad…" Hiccup and Elsa said, not looking at Stoick's angry face.

The basket freed all the dragons, caused all of Elsa's ice to shatter, and cause dozens of others to slip and fall, making it easy for the dragons to fly off and take their supplies.

They looked up at the sky to see all the dragons carrying most of their supplies, as mentioned. They bit their lips nervously, turning slowly to look at their dad. He had an unreadable glare all over his face. They just shrugged and pointed outward.

"Okay, but I hit a Night Fury." Hiccup tried to add but yelped as his dad grabbed him by his collar and started dragging him away, Elsa running after him.

"No, it's not like last times dad. I mean Hiccup hit it this time! You guys were busy, and Hiccup had a very clear shot." Elsa started to explain.

"I saw it go down just off Raven Point. We need to get a search party out there before-" Hiccup was cut off.

"STOP!"

Hiccup quickly shut his mouth, wincing a little bit at the loudness.

"Just…stop. Every time you both step outside, disaster follows!" Stoick snarled, causing Elsa to wince as she knew her power was half to blame. Stoick didn't care she had this power, just preferred if she didn't use it. Told her to conceal it, don't show itself. "Can you two not see that I got bigger problems? Winter is almost here, and I have an entire village to feed!"

"…Well, between us, the village could do with a little less feeding, don't ya think?" Elsa said with a little mumble to herself.

"This isn't a joke!" Stoick snapped. "Ugh, why can't yah both follow the simplest orders?"

"I-I can't stop myself!" Hiccup defended. "I see a dragon and I have to just… kill it, ya know? It's who I am, dad."

Stoick rubbed his forehead, looking stressed.

"Oh, you are many things' kids, but dragon killers are not one of them. Get back to the house. Make sure they get there," Stoick said to Gobber, who smacked the back of their heads. "I have this mess to clean up."

They passed up all the other Vikings, who were looking down at them in a disappointing way. Then as we passed up the other teens they laughed and pointed at them.

"Quite the performance," said Tuffnut, smirking before Ruffnut pushed him.

"I've never seen anyone mess up that badly." Snotlout said, starting to get into Hiccup's face. "That helped!"

"Thank you, thank you, at least I was trying," Hiccup muttered. "So..."

The kids and Gobber continued to walk to their house, neither of them saying a word. Until Elsa did.

"I swear, Gobber, Hiccup really hit one." Elsa tried to defend him.

"Sure, Elsa," Gobber said, not believing it.

Hiccup rolled his eyes. "Dad never listens."

"Well, it runs in the family," Gobber added.

"And whenever he does it's always with this…disappointed scowl like someone skimped on the meat in his sandwich," Hiccup then turned around and started to mock his dad's voice. "'Excuse me, barmaid, I'm afraid yah brought me the wrong offspring. I ordered an extra-large boy, one with beefy arms, extra guts, and glory on the side. This here, this is a talking fishbone!'"

Elsa couldn't contain the laughter that started to boil up in her stomach. She was thankful that he didn't do anything to mock her since that was kind of the relationship they had. Elsa knew not to mock Hiccup and Hiccup knew not to mock her.

The village does that enough for the two of them, they just try to help one another more than mock one another.

"Now you're thinking about this all wrong. It's not so much what yah look like, it's what's inside that he can't stand."

Elsa stopped laughing and stared at him, Hiccup's jaw open and his brows furrowed.

"Thank you for summing that up," Elsa said sarcastically, as she walked over to her brother as he was grabbing the door handle.

"Look, the point is, you both need to stop trying so hard to be something you're not." Gobber tried to explain to them.

"I just wanna be one of you guys," Hiccup said hopelessly as he went inside.

"And I want to at least feel like I belong here," Elsa added as she looked at Gobber with tears and went after Hiccup.

Gobber let out a sigh and left, wishing there was something that he could do to help. He does all he can, but there's not much he can really do for them.

Hiccup's not a fighter, he's an inventor. Elsa's not a Viking, she's...something else. Something they've never seen before.

While he walked away, Hiccup and Elsa went out the back door and made their way into the forest.

"Raven's Point?" Elsa asked her brother.

"Raven's Point," Hiccup confirmed as they raced off into the forest to find the dragon.
