I opened my eyes and blinked several times. Where the hell am I? Who the hell am I? Why in the wide world is Legolas Greenleaf standing in front of me? As far as I could tell, I was a Ranger from the corps of Araluen stuck in the story of Lord of the Rings. And Legolas was assigned to watch over me in case I do something bad. I swear I'm in a dream.

Halt and Will suddenly find themselves in Bree, and they meet Strider and the hobbits. The two Rangers are brought to Rivendell where they join the Fellowship on their quest to save Middle-Earth. NO SLASH

Glorfindel mysteriously ends up in Araluen, and unintentionally gets Will in a whole heap of trouble when the young ranger ends up in Arda.
