Working with his mount, the veteran Bronze Dragon 'Bolt', he has to learn that riding a dragon is very different from riding a horse. Together, they must learn to trust one another, if they have any chance of surviving the battles to come.

Raistlin defeats Fistandantilus in Istar, but then is stuck in the Past, and unable to return home. His long time lover, Dalamar, tries desperately to reach him. They start a difficult journey home, together. The serialization is published on AO3, here you will find just the first 2 chapters.
