I love this story, but the ending was kind of meh. After watching the anime, I saw a great potential for ending the story on a positive note. I penned it several years ago, but had not published it until now. This is what I envisioned.

As Golem and Somali are walking to their destination, Golem reflects upon his journey with Somali. Better summary inside :) Might be a one shot or a series, not sure yet. First fanfic ever, R&R everyone!
