This is a little story about what would happen if the Deadwood characters heard about how the show ended. Its a little silly and a little long but I hope you like it! Continuing the Deadwood prequel: Trixie tries to recover from her previous trauma to go back to her usual profession. Al tries to manage a joint not his own. The Gem crew continues to come together while Trixie sees Al in a new light and an opium haze.

Continuing prequel: As Trixie continues to try to recover in Virginia City, Al continues to recruit for what will be the Gem gang, and meets up with an old friend to discuss a job on the side. And a bit on the side.

Pretty much what I thought might have happened if this fantastic show had continued past its third season. This script does take a few liberties with the story: it omits the fact that Jen had a coffin provided for her, and I spelt Doc's name wrong. Enjoy.

Alma makes an offer Al Swearengen had promised to accept. Awkwardness abounds as two complicated people try to find a way to come together without their usual facades. Al/Alma, sex, language, weapons, a few laughs

Alma Garrett Ellsworth is no stranger to men doing foolish things on her behalf, but rumors that Swearengen allowed himself to be injured for the sake of protecting her? Alma goes after the rest of that unlikely story as the Gem girls embellish with glee.
