What I wish would've happened after the movie ended.

A scene adapted from Inigo's backstory in The Princess Bride, but I made it happier and gay. Enjoy :) (this is based off of the book version, so it also includes Yeste but he wasn't a character option)

Based on the book, but hopefully should make sense to fans of the film - please let me know what you think! The little boy who loved being read The Princess Bride is now grown up, and tries to buy a copy of The Princess Bride for his own son. Things don't go according to plan.

Humperdinck's mean gene wasn't strong enough to pass on to his daughter, and the two are at odds constantly. The princess finds herself longing for the friendship she had with Buttercup before Westley rescued her. Will the girl find the courage to leave her father? Or will she be under his rule forever? M just because I don't know exactly where I'll go with this.

Westley never liked that Buttercup agreed to marry Prince Humperdinck. But what would have happened if she refused him?

A story about a very special swordmaker and a very special sword.

Who loves the Princess Bride movie? It's fantastic. But when I picked up the book, I was thrown off by all of Goldman's fake footnotes (sometimes in the midst of paragraphs). I just wanted to read the story as it is with all my favorite characters and all my favorite scenes and then some. So, out of love, I've went ahead and started rewriting the story.

We revisit the Grandfather and Grandson years after the movie to learn what became of the characters in the 1987 film "The Princess Bride". This has adventure, romance, humor, a miracle, sea battles, kidnapping, death, insults and potatoes; what epic story doesn't? Written in 20-ish chapters. Sorry for the long A/N at the beginning to set the story up.e

Westley and company must stop a war between Florin and Guilder. A ancient crown is the key.

The strength that had filled Inigo Montoya during his fight begins to vanish. When he awakes, he is faced with someone taken away long ago, and a choice. He soon finds that he is not the only one who keeps promises. (A fic for the movie, not the book, which I've not read).

A continuation of Buttercup's Baby, sequel to the William Goldman's 'abridgement' of an 'original novel' written, we are told, by 'S. Morgenstern'. An obvious and very entertaining invention that, as it turns out, was almost entirely true.

Once upon a time, left tied to the chair in the honeymoon suite, rotten Prince Humperdinck is subjected to a truthful fairytale by Buttercup's lady in waiting, the ebony haired and blue eyed Fauna who also is the Princess Bride's evil cousin and who had expectations that she would be the Princess Bride.

The second chapter to Buttercup's Baby (the sequel to the book) because "S. Morgenstern" is a jerk and hasn't written another one.

How exactly did Westley make it to Humperdinck's room? Note: Written as a part of the book and thus references elements not seen in the movie.

I don't think they exist.) and she saves them, the kingdom is turned upside down

Our heroes flee Florin Castle after rescuing Buttercup, but will they reach the safety of the pirate ship Revenge on time?

Set after the movie. Inigo Montoya is now the Dread Pirate Roberts. He has everything he could ever want, other than his Giulietta. Inigo makes it his mission to change that. Meanwhile, on One Tree Island, Westley and Buttercup prepare to become parents. Don't worry, Fezzik is along for the ride as well! A tale of true love, friendship and starting over. Rated T to be safe.
