He loved those big, bright eyes. It reminded him of the ocean. It looked like a sky. It was so cold but warm for him. It showed every emotion that Trinity wanted to hide. But when he had saw tears into her pretty eyes, his heart broke.

For years Mika has been having dreams about a man, never knowing if he was real or just a dream. She was known for rescuing those who needed it, but now, she was beginning to wake up. Morpheus comes to get her along with Neo out of the Matrix. However, Mika has a secret, and it might just cost Morpheus his life. Will she be able to save her new family from fate? Trinity fights against Tiffiny

Smith and Aleph are now freed from their imprisonment inside the Zion mainframe and on a direct path to 01, the city of the machines. Meanwhile in the Matrix, Persephone finally faces the fact that her husband's obsessive pursuit of "magic" has turned him into an utter stranger. Sequel to Awakenings, my previous story.

Death of another one of Neo's unnamed predecessors, now the crew has to deal with the situation. Apoc/Switch centric because that's what I do. This one loosely ties in with most of my other headcanon stories. Three very short chapters.

A glimpse into the past. As mentioned in "Jump Scares", Switch had some trouble to overcome a fear of heights and falling before making the jump. Trinity and Apoc decide to help out a little. Cypher is as antagonistic as ever. Timeline: About a week after "Parameters". Ties in with "Different Freedoms" and "Get Them Talking About Guns".

Trinity cries out and gasps at the pain suddenly radiating from her body and she feels like falling down in the darkness... like precipitating into the void...and she suddenly wakes up. Once again dreams can be so real... Set just after Trinity and Neo's reunion on the Mnemosyne in The Matrix Resurrections

A tiny glimpse into the breakfast the morning after Neo's first encounter with the jump program. Just a dialog vignette of how many tries it might have taken each of the crew members.

Another take on my ongoing "Switch has a slightly odd brain" theme. Today: Calibrating the jack-in parameters for the first visit of the construct, not everything is going as smoothly as planned. No character was permanently harmed in the making of this story. Might contain traces of a random OC because I needed an operator for this alternate timeline.

Neo couldn't open his eyes yet. He didn't want to look at the clock to realize only a few minutes had passed since he had fallen asleep. Trinity tried to get up, but Neo wouldn't let her. She was the only thing keeping him relaxed and he just needed a little more of her.
