Laguna, Julia; a first love, a last look.

Seifer Almasy is more or less stuck in the friend zone when it comes to Quistis Trepe. Written for #ficwip A Picture's Worth 1000 Words: "Write a story in exactly 1000 words, based off the image prompt."

This story takes place in game and resolves a few plot holes. Once complete, this story will be part one of a two part series. The second part will deal with the aftermath of the second sorceress war.

Accepting a destiny of greatness and never faltering in her belief that despite appearances to the contrary on far too many occasions, Selphie always felt everything would be all right in the end. She doubts now. The end is over, and all is not right.

Once upon a time, there was no ordinance in the world that could stop his glorious love for her. Written for #ficwip Hey, Sweetheart 2024: "Use the pet name 'sweetheart' in fic or art."

"Yeah. It's just-" He shakes his head, trying to find the right words for what he's feeling. Something warm, something caring, something… cherished. Something he's not quite sure he deserves. "I don't think I deserve it, I guess." [or, the day Squall and Rinoa started using pet names for each other.]

He may be more open to her, but he is still sometimes closed, his feelings are sometimes still jumbled, and he still has a hard time expressing himself, as if he doesn't know the right words for the things he feels. There are times she knows she can't hold him too tight or he feels suffocated, and she respects that. It's part of loving him.
