There, she meets a man who turns out to be her long-lost father, and she, her father, and her friends find themselves facing off against an iron-fisted warlord who is responsible for True being separated from her parents when she was a baby. When the Rainbow King goes away on a vacation, he needs someone to rule the Rainbow Kingdom in his absence, so he reluctantly appoints Grizelda as queen of the Rainbow Kingdom, and it doesn't take long for the power to go to her head.
