"Agatha, what did you say to Miley and Lilly, apparently they broke up" says David Vega
"they didn't break up, they spent their entire university years not realizing their feelings for each other was mutual, they've never been normal friends, they skipped a step that normal couples go through, it's tense" says Agatha
"did you tell them about Cat and Tori's willingness to be a part of their relationship" asks Arthur Valentine
"I planted the idea but I wasn't about to lie about your reservations about Tori and Cat dating at all, Miley and Lilly fear their slight age bump over Tori would lead to all three of you protesting the relationship, Miley insists that separation is best as opposed to being friends or more than friends, my brother in law has issues with Lilly as it is, they won't budge until things are resolved" says Agatha
"we may have issues with Tori dating Cat but that's only because they're living in Tori's apartment and Cat wasn't added to the lease when they started dating, we feel that gives Tori too much power, they may be full grown adults but we've learned from our mistakes ignoring Cat's needs for so long, we're only trying to advocate for her" says Arthur
"we have no problem with Tori dating Cat in general, we just don't feel she's in the relationship on a level playing field, all we've ever wanted was for Cat to be happy, they want this polyamorous relationship, so long as they're happy, that's all that matters but we feel a level playing field is needed" says Ariel Valentine
"are you trying to say Cat's too stupid to know if she's being taken advantage of" asks Agatha
"no, by no means is Cat stupid, we've never thought that, in fact we thought she was so independent and smart that she would never need our help, all we want is assurance that Cat's being treated as an equal, which Tori refuses to give us, she says it's none of our business" says Ariel
"technically it isn't, they're almost twenty six, at some point you just have to let them live their lives, your apparent disapproval of Tori, even if only superficial is ruining their relationship, its why Cat keeps leaving Tori then going back, she can't be without Tori but your disapproval of Tori weighs heavy on her, like she's being shunned by you guys" says Agatha
"can't we ever be good parents, I feel like we always mess something up" asks Arthur
"you're asking the wrong person" says Agatha
"wait but your daughters turned out so well, surely you and Kyle are amazing parents" says David
"Kyle is their uncle, their father died when they were four and he and I aren't in any sort of relationship, his girlfriend died a year before my husband was declared dead at sea, he was navy, Kyle's girlfriend's family was military and her dying wish was to keep my kids safe alongside me if anything were to happen to my husband, her whole life revolved around Military families sticking together" says Agatha
"Tori and Cat aren't going to back down Aggie and you know that" says David
"give them time, it's only June, they've only been together for week or two at best, Cat and Tori have been together for years, even with the whole breakup and get back together thing, Lilly's open to it but Miley won't even consider it if it's perceived that Arthur and Ariel have serious issues with Tori, until that's resolved its at a standstill, such a relationship won't even be considered by Miley and Lilly's world currently revolves around Miley's mental health, Miley has significant anxiety issues" says Agatha
"considering Miley is Hannah Montana, I find it hard to believe that she has anxiety issues, she's been a role model for millions of kids that grew up with her" says David
"Miley had a record label backing her up then, the whole cancellation of the Hannah and friends tour destroyed the relationship between Miley and the label, the label had poured millions of dollars into marketing that tour, only for her to cancel it because of a misunderstanding of where Lilly and Miley stood feelings wise, neither understood that the feelings were mutual, Lilly came out to Miley before they graduated, not expecting Miley to reciprocate the feelings and basically told Miley they were no longer anything close to friends anymore because of how Lilly felt, Lilly was the centerpiece of that tour, Miley and Hannah are on their own, Miley spent tens of thousands of dollars creating the Hannah Montana record label, let's put it this way David, it would be like you having to investigate a crime all on your own because the LAPD suddenly decided you've used up too many sick days and you'd have to do everything on your own because they don't trust you anymore" says Agatha
"ok that's fair, I can see how Miley might have anxiety issues when you put it that way" says David
"Miley's always had anxiety issues, she only got to create Hannah Montana because her family had her back and wanted her to follow her dreams, without them Hannah Montana wouldn't have ever been created and Miley wouldn't have likely ever met Lilly" says Agatha
"spoken like a true Stewart daughter" says Arthur
"hey now don't invoke my parents in this, I'm just glad they never got to see my sister in so much pain, besides if they'd had their way Cat would have been my daughter and none of this would be legally allowed to even be brought up" says Agatha
"I'm still unsure about the whole legality of polyamory" says Ariel
"it's polygamy that's illegal not polyamory, polyamory is just plural dating, polygamy is plural marriage, IF any of this even happens we'll have to inform them they can only ever legally be girlfriends, that said I highly doubt you guys have the courage to admit to Cat that you made many mistakes raising her and that you only want her to be equal in any relationship, even as lawyers you have trouble telling your clients kids you lost when you lose a case, especially when the case revolves around improper contact with said kids, you simply lack the guts to be honest with kids, girls especially" says Agatha
"hey, that's not fair, the cases we lost are because police left information out so we couldn't properly inform the jury of all the facts, besides we've tried to clear things up, when we ask to speak to her and Tori to clear things up Cat just says no and hangs up" says Arthur
"I'll talk to them, nothing will go anywhere without this conversation" says Agatha as she heads to Tori's apartment
25 minutes later as Cat let's Agatha in
"what did Miley and Lilly say, we know Hannah is Miley, we can come up with fake names, we want to be with them" says Cat anxiously
"you need to have that conversation with your parents first" says Agatha
"no, they'll make Tori leave me, as much as we want to be with Miley and Lilly, I won't let them take Tori away from me" says Cat
"trust me Cat, it won't go the way you think, I just spoke with them, the issue with Tori starts and ends with your name not being on the lease, they think that since Tori's name is the only one on the lease that Tori has power over you, they've long since realized their mistakes in ignoring you for long periods of time in favor of getting your brother medicated properly, they feel that Tori isn't treating you as an equal in this relationship" says Agatha
"they swear that's where the issues with Tori end" asks Cat very seriously
"admittedly they think the relationship is going too slowly, you've been together for quite a few years and they feel Tori is dragging things out, Tori's gone through three lease cycles while you've been living with her and you're still not on the lease" says Agatha
"I'm autistic AND I have ADHD, the apartment people won't add someone with autism and ADHD to the lease, trust me I've argued with them about it, at one point so aggressively that they threatened to kick Tori and I out on the streets if I didn't drop it and live with what I've been dealt" says Cat
"where is Tori, I was under the assumption that she had today off" asks Agatha
"she had to take a few extra shifts, they raised the rent and I've destroyed our snack supply, it's not easy when only one person in a relationship has a job, I also have this sugar thing, my doctor said I process sugar too easily, the meds for it don't help, I'm still as snack crazy as ever" says Cat
"neither of you have actually stated why you want a relationship with Miley and Lilly, just that it's something you won't negotiate on" says Agatha
"we heard Miley raises therapy horses, I have very bad anxiety and self confidence and after the last label in SoCal laughed Tori out of the audition or whatever, her self confidence and self esteem catered, now all she does is work, sleep, eat and play" says Cat
"so you just want to use them to get to the horses, please tell me I have that wrong" says Agatha
"I've been chatting with Lilly for quite a while, I'm the person who gave her the whole secret admirer idea so she could express her feelings to Miley, I mean it worked very well for me so I figured it might work well for her too, you FBI type always assume I'm incredibly shallow or a criminal, I'm naive not a criminal, that ATM thing was a mistake, I'm a music girl, when I find out that something plays music I tend to exploit it even though I don't mean to, I once played a multi hour long song I wrote on the keyboard from Andre's locker because I never realized that it actually worked, I just thought it was a musical type of lock that could only play one song, I was in awe of it, I couldn't believe I'd never realized that it was a real musical keyboard, Jade had to physically pull me away from Andre's locker at the end of the day because I spent the entire school day playing Andre's locker keyboard, it's not my fault I'm stupid" says Cat backing away from Agatha
"relax I'm not here in an official capacity, besides the FBI think that Ryder Daniels is after you, he's not exactly better than he was back during your school years, if anything he's gotten worse, the FBI actually appreciates your messages about creeps, especially the ones with names" says Agatha
"anything else you want to know about since you're prying" asks Cat calming down a little
"I need to know if you're sexually active" says Agatha
"why" asks Cat
"Miley and Lilly are quite active, one might even say that they're too active, if you have no intention of being sexually active with them I'd suggest you look elsewhere for your quad" says Agatha
"I mean I call it sex but nobody else, Tori included does, Tori got a better sex education than I did, the schools I went to forbade talking about lesbian style relationships, I have no idea what girl sex is, I'm the reason the relationship is going so slowly, honestly it frustrates Tori that I'm so cautious, as in so frustrated that I'm afraid she'll kick me out and never want to see me again kind of frustrated, I need to learn things eventually" says Cat
"can't Tori teach you" asks Agatha
"she says she only knows the self pleasure stuff, stuff which I already know, Jade says that it's not that much different to sex but she won't elaborate and stops talking to me for a few weeks when I ask for advice or for her to elaborate, I'm two meltdowns from Tori leaving me for Jade" says Cat
"I can talk to Jade for you" says Agatha
"she's extremely rich now, her plays are being played all over the world, she stopped using her family money after her first play went viral right after graduation from Hollywood arts, I know Jade has feelings for Tori, it's only a matter of time before Tori leaves me" says Cat
"I'll get this all sorted out" says Agatha
"why, that's a lot of work, what do you get from helping us" asks Cat
"I'm Miley's aunt and the last blood relative from her mom's side still in America, all my sisters siblings either passed away or moved out of America to other countries, my sister and I never got along and Miley suffered as a result, Miley and Lilly want a polyamorous relationship with you and Tori but Miley's hesitant about it because of issues stemming from you and Tori's side of the potential relationship, I'll be damned if I let anything stop her from at least trying out a polyamorous relationship, anyway here are some snacks, I'll let you know how things go" says Agatha as she hands Cat a bag of snacks and leaves as Cat calls her parents
At Jade's Beach house an hour later
"to what do I owe the pleasure Agent" says Jade being very courteous
"I'm not here as an agent, I'm Miley's aunt, there's a relationship situation and I'm working to get it solved" says Agatha
"I know all about how Cat and Tori want a polyamorous relationship with them, Tori won't shut up about it" says Jade letting Agatha in
"an issue about Cat's parents not approving of Tori is being resolved, however Cat's under the assumption that she's on the edge of losing Tori to you because of a sheer lack of experience in bed" says Agatha as Jade's jaw drops
"oh my God, THAT'S why she's been asking for advice, she's always been quirky, I thought her asking was her way of saying give Tori and I some space so we can have fun" says Jade shocked
"so you don't have feelings for Tori" asks Agatha
"none that are ever present, jealousy does crop up every now and then but that could be because I have feelings for Cat, feelings I've repressed since I first met her" says Jade
"Cat mentioned that you would stop talking to her after she would ask for advice or for you to elaborate on how self pleasure isn't that much different from sex, would you keep talking to Tori, is that why she thinks Tori's getting tired of her" asks Agatha
"I have an old cat I took in two years ago, she's deaf and has a tendency to bury herself in sand, dirt or her cat litter, the last time I left her alone to get groceries, she nearly died because she was eating her cat litter because she thought it was food, Tori and I have a business agreement, I prop her up financially when she needs it and she buys my groceries with my debit card twice a week" says Jade
"ok getting you groceries I understand but her having your debit card would definitely make Cat worried, I can understand why she is worried you're waiting in the wings to steal Tori from her" says Agatha
"I care about Cat, she was essentially blacklisted from all California labels right after graduation because she's 'unstable and a risk', no label wants to take her on despite her immense talent, I know she worries about not being able to contribute financially to the relationship, getting on the Hannah Montana record label would be a big deal for Cat, her label is the only label that refuses to abide by the blacklist against Cat, its also Tori's only chance" says Jade
"if you could change anything what would it be" asks Agatha
"I'd be with Tori and Cat joining Miley and Lilly but Tori's adamant on a quad and says I wouldn't fit the relationship anyway, Tori also doesn't want to be in any relationship that includes me, I don't know why, since Beck moved to Europe to act in movies there I've been a lot calmer and nicer and I can teach them a lot about girl sex" says Jade
"to be fair you haven't been very nice to Tori back at Hollywood arts, her dad tells many stories, one about missing clothes" says Agatha
"I borrowed them, she knew about it, it's not my fault that Trina never gave them back to Tori, Tori was supposed to be home but she'd spent the night at Cat's for a pop up sleepover, my chest isn't as big as people think, Tori and I are the same size, my chest is only slightly bigger, it's just less firm because I inherited a condition that makes some parts of my skin less elastic, though not enough for a diagnosis for the disorders that are commonly connected to such things, I'll completely disengage if it makes Cat feel better, even if it means risking my cats life and doing everything myself again, in fact I'll start right now, Tori should be delivering my groceries tonight, I'll take my debit card back and cancel the contract I have with Tori to help keep her afloat financially, anything to help Cat feels secure" says Jade
"all I ask is that you not do anything if it might jeopardize their relationship, as I fear pulling extra funds from Tori will absolutely do" says Agatha
"noted but Cat's mental health is a priority for me, frankly I don't care if pulling my extra funding puts them in a bind if it means Cat feels more secure in the relationship, I thought I was helping but clearly I'm not" says Jade
"Cat means a lot to you doesn't she, I've heard rumors that you're the only friend still talking to them" asks Agatha
"they both mean a lot to me, it all changed after Cat gave Tori that secret admirer letter, it wasn't so secret because Cat felt the need to sign it C.V and put a cat print on it, Andre got angry because honestly he'd been hoping to ask Tori on a date after graduation, a singular date mind you, to test the waters but still, he to this day feels Cat stole Tori from him, Robbie feels like Cat led him on and to spite her started dating Gabriella, they're now engaged and have a kid, Beck holds a grudge against them for 'turning' me against him, in reality I just lost the spark I used to feel with him so yeah I'm the only one left who talks to them, there is Sinjin but he's as creepy as ever, sending them requests for a one night stand as if they'd actually accept it, there's an open investigation into his behaviour thanks to me, anyway I have to feed Mittens, she's starving" says Jade as Mittens meows at her
"ok, I'll figure this out, don't give up hope, my advice, don't cut Tori off entirely, I have a feeling that things aren't as they seem" says Agatha as she leaves
With Tori at home 2 hours later as Cat naps
"what makes you think I have anything against Jade" says Tori
"in her ideal world she'd be dating you and Cat and joining you in a relationship with Miley and Lilly, her house certainly is big enough, obviously something you said to her makes her feel like you would push her away if she asked to be part of the polyamorous relationship, in fact she's certain that's the truth" says Agatha
"Cat's insecure, she's submissive by nature, both in bed and in everyday life, though I do let her control what foods I buy, she's afraid that by Jade's dominant nature, that Jade will take any control Cat has left in life away from her, I've spoken to Miley, she has no bias against Jade and has on a few occasions said she'd welcome Jade in a hypothetical polyamorous relationship with Cat and I, It's Cat's fear of losing all control over her life that is stopping her from letting Jade in, Jade is quite knowledgeable about girl sex as Cat loves to call it though she also calls it girl love making, If Jade can agree to let Cat have some control over her life, Cat will accept Jade in almost immediately, my lease is almost up anyway and my Apartment Super has been hinting that he won't renew it because I 'don't make enough' to warrant keeping me as a tenant, he prefers male tenants anyway" says Tori
"does Cat know how much Jade actually contributes to your income and how much does she actually contribute" asks Agatha
"Cat doesn't want to know so long as she has a bed to sleep in, Jade actually contributes to nearly half my income and is the only reason we can still live in such a fancy apartment" says Tori
"if your apartment Super prefers male tenants why did he give you a lease" asks Agatha, smelling blood in the water regarding the apartment Supers practices
"he thought I'd make it big and buy him out, he's quite a grumpy apartment Super, I took the extra shifts this week because my lease actually ends this week and I was hoping to get on the super's good side and get him to renew it by showing him I can afford the increase, we might have to end up staying at Jade's if I can't" says Tori as apartment super Alexander Allen barges in
"your lease is void Victoria, you have a pet Cat, you have one day to pack your stuff and leave" says Alexander Allen
"FBI business Alex, now scram before I arrest you for predatory leasing of apartments, hell I might do it anyway, it's not like you don't have a criminal record or anything, she'll be gone later today, oh and expect a visit from my agents" says Agatha
"on second thought, she can take as much time as she needs" says Apartment super Alexander Allen as he leaves
"you know him" asks Tori
"I'm the one that arrested him ten years ago for trafficking girls, he got off with probation for snitching on his 'product' supplier, though the crime still went on his record, he's technically still required to visit a probation officer" says Agatha
"so should I get Cat up and start packing" asks Tori
"nah let her sleep, I'll get a moving company in, just put tape on everything you own" says Agatha
"you're moving us to Jade's aren't you" asks Tori
"right now it's the only place that's inviting to you girls, besides she doesn't seem to want to initiate anything, you and Cat would have all the power, the same would go for Miley and Lilly, Lilly's more submissive than Miley but not by much, such a relationship can be fragile however and from my own experience polyamorous relationships of more than three don't last long, however that said Jade will always be an option if you end up having to break it off with Miley and Lilly, besides her home is closer to Miley and Lilly than this apartment, you have an hour to mark everything, here's some tape, I'll go get some dinner while you do that, I do expect Cat up when I get back so she can eat, she can't survive off snacks forever after all" says Agatha
"fair enough" says Tori taking the tape from Agatha and marking things to be moved as Agatha goes to get food
35 minutes later as Agatha returns
"are you sure everything will be ok at Jade's, whenever I'm around her it's always her way or the highway, I never got to do anything I wanted the way I wanted, even when the thing I brought her along on were borderline dates, nothing could ever be done how I wanted it to be, it's bad enough that I had to act like a complete idiot at school to be accepted, how she treated me only made me depressed, it was only after Tori came along that I felt a new drive for my hobbies, she accepted me, treated me well and cared about my well being" says Cat
"I have to admit Cat, something that bothers me is that you signed that secret admirer letter with your initials and a cats paw print, that made it kind of obvious it was you" says Tori
"my brain wouldn't let me keep it anonymous, I've had feelings for you at more or less every level since the day I met you, I wrote one to Jade too, mainly because my therapist said being honest about my feelings would help with my anxiety issues but Jade just threw it out, next thing I knew you were asking me out" says Cat
"so you do like Jade" asks Tori
"you have to understand she wasn't always so mean and all in my face, she's one of my oldest friends, she used to be quite the cuddle bug, then she met Beck and suddenly everything changed, even before they started dating, I watched both you and Jade on the last day of school you read the note, looked around, glanced at me for a second then sat down in the middle of the hallway and read my letter six times by my count, Jade picked up her note and crumpled it into a ball and threw it at Robbie, which hurt me more than anything because he read it then filed a restraining order against me, he works at the mall, I haven't been allowed to enter seven stores because of it, three of them are my favourite stores, the main one is the stuffed animal store, I've needed a new giraffe for five years, my room got flooded somehow and I lost most of my stuffies to mold, my purple giraffe was the worst off one, some of the plushies I'd had since I was a baby, sure maybe I still have the memories but my Nona gave me three of them and they never left my side, Nona's gone now" says Cat
"I'll have a chat with Robbie don't you worry" says Tori
"please don't, I care about him, I don't want him hating you more than he already does" says Cat
"you like Robbie" asks Agatha
"he's the only guy I like but he used to have a creepy mode so because of past experiences from elementary school with another boy I kept him at a distance, if he'd been less creepy about his feelings for me him and I WOULD probably have gone on a few dates, I doubt we'd have lasted because Rex absolutely creeps me out but I'd have absolutely gone on dates with him" says Cat
"he's under the impression that I stole you from him, how did it really go down" says Tori genuinely curious
"he pushed me away, you didn't steal anything, I'd had a love letter written to him since I was ten, I'd have given it to him if he was more in control of his feelings, he's quite moody, he always has been, last I heard Gabriella was actually quite mad at him because he'd set up some sort of shrine to me in their bedroom, which just proves my point, he worships me, I deserve to be loved not worshipped, he just doesn't understand that, when he and I first met he would constantly use my full name, even after I yelled at him to stop and to call me Cat not Catarina, it was only after my parents had a chat with him that he stopped, after that he only used my full name in situations where I'm lowering my standards too much, which honestly IS something I like about him, though I doubt he criticises Gabriella at all" says Cat
"wait you let me call you Catarina when we're alone, did you lower your standards when we started dating" asks Tori
"no, I like the way you say it, slight Spanish accent and all, you, Jade, Miley and Lilly are way out of my league, you're all way way smarter than I am, you're also all taller than I am, you all have jobs one way or another, meanwhile I'm here hoping people give me their spare change just so I can contribute to the relationship, admit it I'm terrible in bed and I forget things a lot" says Cat
"we're inexperienced is all Cat, sure maybe my body craves more than what you can give sometimes but I love you all the same, as for the forgetfulness, I constantly forget to fill my gas tank, sometimes I arrive at work with a literal empty gas tank, so empty I coast into my parking spot on fumes, forgetting to do the dishes isn't an issue because when you do it's because we're in the mood, sometimes I forget to take my shoes off in those moments too, I don't hold anything against you Cat" says Tori
"oh ok, I guess then adding Jade to the relationship is ok so long as there are rules that allow me to say no" says Cat
"I'll let her know when we arrive" says Tori
