Delirious/Hi
Summary:
This was it Han thought.
After escaping a crashing plane he thinks his luck is bound to run out and after so many high-octane adventures, to have it all end in such a mundane way seems poetic.

This was it Han thought.
After escaping a crashing plane he thinks his luck is bound to run out and after so many high-octane adventures, to have it all end in such a mundane way seems poetic.
He was separated from Tej, Roman and Ramsey, stranded in the wilderness and didn't know how long time had passed.
The scratches on his leg were minor but that felt like it was to taunt him, just stinging and itchy inconvenient pain.
He was dehydrated, and now cursing out the salty snacks that aided in that.
He thinks of what people say they saw when they were dying and his mind tricks him into thinking those things too, or it comforts him perhaps.
He sees images of his family, the one he was born into, and the ones he developed along the way.
Of Dom and the crew, of his Tokyo crew, of Elle giving him a second life.
And Gisele.
Always Gisele.
He can see her smile and her sneer.
The way she'd roll her eyes at him as much as she looked lovingly at him.
And her voice.
Calling him out or calling out his name, both passionately but in different ways.
Or just sweetly like she's done it forever and not in that small window in the scheme of his life or hers that they knew each other.
Or like now how real she sounded.
He was delirious for sure.
Eyes drowsy and droopy.
"Han, hold on for me."
And he sees her face so clearly now.
Moreso than he has in years.
And the whir of helicopter blades interrupts his thoughts.
And the beep of machines.
And then Han wakes up in a bunker on a hospital bed.
The IV drip was off and an oxygen tank was pushed aside.
His scratches cleaned and ointment applied.
And Han felt better.
Until the door opens.
It was Gisele walking slowly towards him.
Who clenches her hands lightly together and lets out a breath.
"Hi," she says.

My new series of Han and Gisele one-shots since the F9 and Fast X releases/retcons of the characters
At first I was saving these for a fic with a plot but I now realize I shouldn't be writing full plot stories and one-shots are my strong suit, but I should keep it to a trilogy of one-shots if I decide I need to do that, so here they are
A lot are variations of Gisele and how she got to be in Fast X, so some stand alone, say if in one one-shot she's Gisele's twin or another she's a doppelganger
Some will be connected and others won't be but I hope that is okay
