Disclaimer: I do not own this story if I did, I would be sleeping in a bed full of money.
Let's begin!
-Timeskip-
So it's been a few days since my fight with the Azure Knight Neptune and the loss of my arm.
Something I learned about the [Gamer] system is that even if you level up, you can't regenerate lost limbs so I've been looking for ways to get more [Gacha Tokens] in hopes of getting a new arm ASAP. However, that need was quickly shut down when I discovered that my being a Demon granted me a few perks, mainly the regeneration of lost limbs.
I've also been doing a lot of D-Rank jobs and a few C-Ranks in hopes of getting some more tokens and I can safely say that I have more than enough to last me a while.
When I wasn't doing that, I was focused on levelling up my latest type of magic, [Water Magic].
It's currently level 10, which is a decent start but could be better.
I'm going to until it's at least level 45 before I get another type of magic to increase my magical versatility.
In other news, Natsu left the Guild a few days after we both woke up from our fight against Neptune to seemingly go train.
Erza and Gray both woke up from their slumber a few days after I did and with their limbs restored and more driven than ever to become stronger so if one of us couldn't find them then we knew that they were training up to the point of exhaustion.
Now then, let's get a few rewards.
On it!
Rolling...
Perk gained
Blessing of Poseidon
Description: The user has an increased affinity with water, storms and ice.
All Hydromancy, Tempestmancy and Cryomancy Spells' damage output will be doubled.
Good, another random God is blessing me.
Seriously, what's the point of them blessing if they know I'm a demon?
Oh well, I'm not complaining, especially with how the fight with Neptune went.
Next roll.
Item gained
Skill Book: Wind Magic
Rarity: A
Description: This Skill Book contains the power for the user to use Wind Magic
Next roll.
Item gained
Red Dragon Egg (Solo Leveling)
Rarity: C
Description: This is the egg of a Red Dragon from the Solo Leveling universe.
Hatching time: 20 minutes and 10 seconds.
That's pretty cool since I'll have another Dragon in my care and that means double the destruction and double the flying fun.
Next roll.
Perk gained
[Blessing of Aeolus]
Description: The user has an increased affinity with Wind.
All Aeromancy Skills' damage output will be doubled.
That's cool.
Next roll.
Skill gained
Demon Extraction (Active) LVL: 1/25 [0%]
Description: Demon Extraction allows the user to turn any dead foes into demons, transforming them into powerful minions to aid in combat. These Demonic minions possess the abilities and skills of the creatures they originated from, making them formidable allies in battle.
[Demon Limit: 10]
Due to the Skill [Demon Extraction, you have gained two new Skills.
Demon Storage (Active) LVL: MAX
Description: Demon Storage allows the user to store the Demons they have created inside their own shadow, as well as summon and reabsorb them at will.
This also grants the user the ability to share senses with his Demons, being able to use them as a means of remote monitoring.
Hell's Army (Active) LVL: MAX
Description: You can summon your demon army via portals.
Cost: None
Last roll since I want to grind a few levels in both [Fire Magic] and [Water Magic] as well as keep the remaining tokens for a future roll.
Flaw gained
[Curse of Athena]
Description: This curse forces you to gain extended knowledge on anything that piques your interest.
Well, shit, that's not expected and when you combine this with my [Major Sin of Greed, it's going to make learning new abilities a lot more difficult than I would've initially liked.
Alright then, now that's done and over with, I'm gonna go grind in the [Dungeons] and hopefully I can have both my magics at a decent level before the end of the day.
Selecting the Goblin [Dungeon, I find myself in a forest with tiny hutts a couple of feet away from me.
I enter the village and find a couple of Goblins glaring at me, holding spears, bows and tiny swords as I use [Observe] to see their stats.
Goblin (X6)
Level 25
HP: 2000/2000
Goblin Archer (X4)
HP: 1000/1000
Goblin Spearsmen (X8)
HP: 1200/1200
Goblin Mage (x2)
HP: 1500/1500
MP: 1000/1000
Well, they're somewhat strong but still, better safe than sorry.
"Firebolt!" I cast out, firing off a powerful blast of fire from my hand toward one of the Goblins.
"High!"
The Goblin screeches once it gets hit and starts burning.
A second later it fell and I got a notification.
[You have slain a Goblin! Gained 100 Exp!]
The other Goblins begin screeching in anger as I take out and brandish my Demon King's Daggers from my [Inventory] with a fiendish smile on my face.
"Come, all of you! Let the grinding begin!"I roar out while running at them, laughing like a demented maniac.
-Scene Change-
"So... how are they?" The voice of an old man asked sadly, looking over the 2 victims of the Castle quest.
He is an extremely short, elderly man. He has black eyes and is growing bald with only the outer rims of his head containing white hair. He also has a thick white mustache. He has a black stamp of the Fairy Tail guild mark that covers his entire chest area.
He appears to be wearing formal attire, wearing a white tunic with the Fairy Tail symbol on the left collar, and black pants, all of which were covered by a formal white coat with white fur around the edges and with the Ten Wizard Saints' symbol on the back.
This is Makarov Dreyar, the 3rd Guild Master of the infamous Fairy Tail Guild.
Standing next to him is a slim and tall elderly woman with pink hair, tied in a bun on the back of her head by two large pins with crescent moon-shaped edges, and with two bangs of hair left framing her face. She has reddish eyes, and a beauty mark located below her mouth, on the left side of her face.
Her attire consists of a dark green blouse with a tie around the collar, paired with a long matching skirt and simple shoes. Over this, she sports a crimson-coloured cape, with a wide collar decorated by massive Dragon horn-like decorations protruding outwards, and edges adorned by white, arch-like motifs.
This was Porlyusica, the Healing Mage of the Fairy Tail Guild.
The victims in question were Lucy Heartfilia and the Exceed Happy, who still haven't recovered from their battle against Neptune The Azure Knight.
The healing managed to restore Gray and Erza's lost limbs with a mix of Healing magic and Transmutation, a sub-ability of Alchemy, something that not too many people tend to focus on when learning about magic and Guilds.
"You have been coming here every day asking the same question Makarov and I'm telling you that they aren't getting any better. Honestly, it's a miracle that Natsu and that new wizard were able to recover quickly." Porlyusica ranted, quickly calming her anger at the whole situation.
She was right, the Guild Master did come here every day at the same hour to check on his family, only to be disappointed every time.
As soon as Natsu recovered, he left the Guild without so much as saying a word to his guildmates but not before grabbing every Job related to the apprehension of criminals.
No one has heard from the pink-haired Dragon Slayer ever since, only hearing rumours about the legendary Salamander catching criminals under record time, which couldn't be Natsu since the guy practically lived for destruction.
As for Dante Shimon, he got tested by Macao and Mirajane since the two wanted to see how he was to have defeated the Azure Knight.
Once the test was over, Dante left to go explore Magnolia, popping every once in a while to pick a few jobs but didn't stick around unless it included talking to Mirajane or Elfman.
'All of them... have suffered hefty losses. No child should have to go through what they went through. Not now, not ever.' He thought sadly, his mind flashing to his wayward grandson, Laxus Dreyar, which seemed to be a reflex as of lately.
"Please tell me you're not thinking about that brat of yours." Porlyusica chatsised lightly, deciding on a nearby chair with her face resting in her left hand.
"And if I was?" Makarov replied easily.
"I'd try to cheer you up via a spar but we both know that's not going to help so my advice to you is to stop moping around and do what needs to be done Makarov. Otherwise, you will live the rest of your life in regret." The Healing Mage said calmly.
"And what if that's all I can do Porlyusica?" Makarov remarked rather harshly, which didn't shock the Healing Mage but made raise her eyebrow instead. "What if I tell you that I deserve to be hated by Laxus and shouldn't hold on to the Guild as I have any more?"
"Then you are even more of a fool than when we first met." She replied coldly as the Guild Master's eyes widened in shock.
'But it's time for those two to come back to the Guild. This is what my mission will be as Guild Master of Fairy Tail!' Makarov thought as he would then bid farewell to Porlyusica and headed back to the Guild, determined to see his plan through.
The resolve of one man can often change the world.
And Makarov Dreyar was determined to bring home his lost children before the claws of darkness took hold of them once more.
-Scene Change-
25 STR
29 VIT
26 DEX
45 INT
45 WIS
17 CHA
12 LUK
You have levelled up twice!
Welp, that was the end of that [Dungeon].
My [Fire Magic] is now level 75 and as for my [Water Magic, it's now level 30 so that means I can now go for [Wind Magic, which should improve my repertoire of known magic so far.
Walking towards the corpse of the boss, I look at it and start channelling mana through my hand.
"Awaken and serve the one who will become the strongest Demon King in all of existence. Arise!" I order the dead Goblin King, using [Demon's Extraction] on him as the corpse of the Goblin King, a huge rush of mana resonating through the entire room.
Suddenly, he slowly rises as demonic features begin to appear all over his body.
Goblin King has successfully become a Demon!
Would you like to give it a name?
Hmm, I think I'll name you... Orion just 'cause I feel like it.
I feel a satisfied hum pulsate through the corners of my mind and somehow, I know that it means that he likes his name.
Guess I have a hive mind with the Demons I'm gonna be getting.
Handing it the [Orb of Avarice, I then recall it back with [Demon Storage, overall satisfied with my first capture.
I then walk towards the chest and then kick it open and take a look at what I got.
Items added
2 Gacha Tokens
2500$
Skill Orb: Dragon's Fear
Those are pretty decent rewards so I think that's gonna be it for today.
Using [ID: Escape, I re-appear in my room at Fairy Hills and lie on my bed, trying to think what my next move should be.
I pull out my two Dragon eggs from my [Inventory] and wait as the two start moving out with cracks moving around and within seconds, two dragons pop out of the eggs.
"Hello there, I'm Dante and you guys are going to be future badasses," I tell, grabbing them with one arm as they rub on me and I think about what their names should be.
I'm gonna go with the names of Jin-Woo and Baran's Dragons in Solo Leveling, Kaisel and Kamish.
"For the red one, your name is now Kamish and as for the white one, it's going to be Kaisellin or Kaisel for short. Hope you two like those names." I say, getting a small roar from the brothers as I let them play around with each other.
I'm gonna use that [Skill Orb] and get some more abilities added to my repertoire.
Taking it out, I crush it in a split second as the power rushes to my body, giving me a rush of adrenaline as a [Notification] pops up.
Skills gained
Dragon's Fear (Active) LVL: 1/10 [0%]
Description: Dragon's Fear allows its users to release a mana-infused shout from their souls, driving anyone weaker than them into a state of intense despair and panic. Despite how powerful this skill is, it comes with two major drawbacks. The first is that it only works on individuals weaker than the users themselves, meaning that enemies stronger than them are completely immune to its effects. The second is that its effects are indiscriminate and apply to anyone weaker than the users in their vicinity, including their allies. As a result, it is only a good skill to use while fighting against an enemy alone.
Cost: 500 MP
Perfect.
I'll use that in future battles but training [Water Magic] is gonna be more crucial than [Dragon's Fear] since I want it to be at a decent level before focusing on other types of [Skills].
Now then, I need to think about what I should do next in this world, seeing as I pretty much-screwed canon for myself and everybody.
Natsu hasn't come back to the Guild since the moment he recovered and would probably be considered a Rogue mage if it wasn't for Makarov and his belief in his children's kindness.
I'm honestly impressed with his way of thinking as even after all this time, he still believes that people can be good and just need a guiding hand when I can confidently say that some people are born to do evil and have crawled out the depths of hell just to do so.
Just look at where I am now thanks to the guy who killed my entire family.
Maybe Laxus was right about the whole 'might makes right' thing.
Speaking of which, I should recruit Wendy, Gajeel and Laxus into the Guild so that we could get more Dragon Slayers and inherently get more bulk for when the Grand Magic Games start.
I already know that Wendy and Carla are at the illusion of the Cait Shelter Guild, Gajeel's either a rogue mage or Phantom Lord and Laxus's doing his own thing with the rest of his Thunder God Tribe.
I think I'll start by recruiting Wendy since she's less arrogant than the latter and will be far more willing to listen to my offer and Carla can be easily swayed with a few words if it needs more convincing.
Then Laxus and finally Gajeel if I feel still like it 'cause to be honest, Gajeels pretty stubborn guy so unless I use Levy to make him change his way or kick his ass, he's not gonna come to the Guild willingly.
I need to evolve into a Greater Demon and fast if I want to deal with the apparent threats in this world like Zeref, Acnologia or the 5 Dragon Gods.
I already have 30 souls in my arsenal so I'm gonna have to murder 120 people just for my evolution, which is roughly a whole city or a big village.
"Fucking shit. I need to do something other than killing and fucking." I sigh, annoyed at the description of myself since I first became a mage in this world.
It's either I was fucking random girls from Ishgar or killing monsters for more power.
I should get a hobby like playing an instrument or gardening or anything that can calm me down.
But oh well, those thoughts are the future and I need to focus on the current problem, which is evolving into a Greater Demon.
Spreading my wings, I then take off at high speeds in a random direction in the direction in the sky, hoping to find a Dark Guild so I could kill its members and get what I needed.
Eventually, I landed near a building and walked toward the biggest source of mana in the entire area.
*GROWL*
The fuck?
Taking out [Demon King's daggers] from my [Inventory, I continue my trek to the source, cautious of everything around me 'cause I'm pretty sure an ambush can and could happen if I wasn't careful.
"Well well well. If it isn't the golden child himself, Dante Shimon. Great to see ya man!" A voice says, a hint of madness in it
No way...
"Natsu? Is that you man?" I ask, more confused than shocked 'cause I'm sure that he wasn't this strong a few weeks ago.
"Who knows?" He asks with a manic grin etched on his face, flames dancing in his hands as one guy tries to escape from us.
"Fucking crazy piece of shit. Just leave me alone, you ass-! ARGH!" The man yells out in pain as he's then burnt to nothing but ashes, Natsu looking satisfied with what he has done.
"What... what did you just do? Is this what you've been since you left the Guild?" I ask him, my fingernails turning into claws as I slip into a fighting stance.
"Yeah, I couldn't take it anymore. I'm tired of being looked at as the weakling. Tired of not being strong enough to protect those I care about. Anyone who threatens the safety of the Guild is my enemy." Natsu says, slipping into a fighting stance.
Not wasting another moment, we then lunge at each other, intent on harming the other due to conflicting ideals.
END!
