Hi, so here we are again! Once again I am going back to this wonderful fandom that gave me so much over the course of my writing. I know I have took a bit of a long break from this fandom but I recently watched all the first six series of OUAT and the idea's kept popping into my head left, right and centre starting with this one.

I love Outlaw Queen. I love Regina, I don't why everyone got to be with the person they loved but her. I honestly don't know what the point of that ending for her in Season 7 was but then I don't get the point of Season 7 at all to be honest. So this is my stab at giving her something-eg, a happy ending with Robin with no Marian.

On that note-I have a love/hate relationship with the Charmings, Seasons 1, 3, 5 they are fine, Season 2 ish, 4 okay until we get to the last bit, but Season 6...that bit with Snow, Emma and Belle about Gideon is a scene that makes me so angry I have to stop watching. So yeah...if you are looking for a lovey dovey on the ball happy Charming story this isn't going to be it. To be honest at times Emma gets on my nerves when it comes to Regina so...I will try and keep this as neutral as possible but the Charmings especially Snow are not my favourite characters nor will they ever be.

Disclaimer-Nothing is mine I am just playing with the characters.

I predict this is going to be twenty chapters long. And there will be a few chapters set in the Enchanted Forest.

Please Read and Review and let me know what you think and I will try and update as soon as work and life allows me.

Also I am not great with spelling and grammar. Nor is this story going to be cannon or dialogue compliment. Something to have in mind if that's your thing.

And there will be some swearing in this story so keep that in mind.

As of now I am not taking prompts nor I am answers PMs so please do keep that in mind too. Any questions leave it in a review and I will try and answer it in the notes part of each story.

Storybook Love (Every Version Of You)

Chapter 8-The Phantom (The Woman)

In which we are back in the Enchanted Forest and Regina and Robin are having a sexual relationship with no feelings attached...at least that is what Regina tells herself when her irritant step-daughter gets involved.

She missed Henry like she missed the air to breathe that was a part of the day to day natural life. She missed him, it was an aching chasm in her chest and she had to learn to live with it. One might have said that she had learnt to live with worse but in reality she never really had, even with Daniel she had never been in this much pain when she thought of the live that she had left behind.

But she found that in her pain there was a beauty to it, to the pain…to the Enchanted Forest. She didn't know what to make of it. Regina had never thought of it as beautiful. But then again she had never thought of Storybrooke as beautiful either. She missed things, laptops, dresses with zips in them, facials and coffee…God she missed coffee most of all but she found that she was able to put one foot in front of the other and make it work. Get through the day to day and make it worth it.

The Enchanted Forest in the sunrise was nice. The sunset from her balcony was beautiful. She found that she was enjoying the warm breeze that came off the trees. It was the little things that you ended up missing, the silence that came when there were no cars in the vicinity. And now that she was no longer Queen and actually running the Kingdom it was clear that she had time to think on those things.

That or she was losing her mind due to boredom that much was clear.

But she had something to take the edge off.

Robin.

It was nice she realised. Graham had been the last man in her bed and he had been lacklustre at best. Daniel and her had never gotten that far…not really and Leopold was a memory best left forgotten. She had never had a man between her legs that had laid there solely interested in her pleasure, in her, in the entire thing. She did not know weather or not she wanted to dive in deeper when it came to her feelings about Robin but right now she was living through the moment and the moment was living through her. She loved him, it was odd to think that after such few weeks together but this was what she thought anyway. When she had lost Daniel she had thought that she had closed the door on that part of her life but now Robin Hood was forcing it open with his charming smile and his twinkling eyes and the fact that she was utterly enjoying it.

They spent every night together now, he would come and join her once his son was down for the night and they would fuck like rabbits until she was quite sure she didn't know what her own name was. He knew that her soft spot was being eaten out. Daniel had never done it, Leopold would have never dared to dream to do it, and Graham had never bothered to worry about anyone's pleasure but his own and the last few times she was under the impression that he was fucking Emma Swan in his head.

When Robin had asked her hand tapping on her thigh if she didn't like it she had, had no other recourse other than to tell him the truth. That she didn't know what it was like to have someone's mouth down there.

Robin Hood had stared at her for a moment as if he was stunned into silence. Regina did not like to think what kind of rumours had been spread about her over the course of the years that she had been in a fight with her insipid stepdaughter but the truth was she did not go through life fucking every solider she met.

And then he had grinned and that was when Regina had known that she was well and truly fucked. Robin had a dark side that came out when he was in bed and she was rapidly learning it now. It was a dark and dangerous side and so her lover had lowered his head between her legs and that was the last thought that Regina had, had in a long, long time because when he was done her thoughts were scattered to the ends of the Enchanted Forest and back again and likely not to be found for a long, long time.

Damn him.

She'd got him back. Sinking to her knees one night to take him into her mouth his eyes blown wide open as if he'd had no idea that Queens even did that. When she had quipped that she could also put the Crown on her head if he wanted her too he had shot her a look that had been the definition of pure and utter filth.

And wasn't that a challenge that he could expect the Evil Queen to rise too!

She had licked and sucked at him until he was biting down hard on his lip refusing to let any sound escape. Then she had taken him all the way down to the root and that had been the end to any hope that he had, had of remaining the silent stoic warrior. Robin Hood from that moment on was at the mercy of Regina, The Evil Queen and she wouldn't have had it any other way.

Afterwards they had tumbled to bed and the nights continued in much the same way as they always did. It was there little secret. Only if his son was in danger could anyone come to the door and Regina had never been more relieved to see that her magic worked as well as it did in those lazy days where she went through the day pretending that she was fine and in reality she was not, instead just waiting until the nights came so she could listen to his knock, slip him into her room and then be with him until sunrise crested their bodies.

It was love for her she knew.

What it was for him she did not know.

It was all so dangerously frightening. She did not know weather or not she was able to separate her feelings from this man from the lust. Did not know if she could meet his son and play nice happy families.

The whole thing was an aching mess.

So she took the stolen nights and made attempt to make them enough even though she knew that they were not enough.

She should have known not to expect happiness when it came down to the wire.

And then it was over.

Because her step daughter got involved.

Regina was reading some report about magical activity some nitwit farmer that had never seem magic in his life no doubt had sent in. She was not thinking much of it but the fact was practice had always dictated that she read in what was sent in regardless of what it is.

"What are you doing?"

"Reading. Most of this is useless but there might be a few good things in here."

"Oh I didn't read the correspondence"

"You were running a kingdom and you don't read the correspondence?" she asked mockingly. Regina could not help it. Sometimes Snow made it so damn easy and she didn't even know it.

"My father never did"

Regina bit down hard on her lip before she ended up telling Snow that her father had been a sainted fool and that contrary to her sunshine and roses view of the man and the world the reality was her kingdom had been on the verge of collapse and invasion before Regina had gotten her hands on it. However she was supposed to be turning over a new leaf. And to be honest the way Leopold had been about his daughter and the way that daughter was about Leopold had made sure that neither one of them was going to see the truth about the other.

"May I help you?" she said finally and Snow sat down which was not an invitation. Regina put down her invitations and felt her head swim. She had not been feeling well recently no doubt the fact that there was someone inexperienced in her kitchens but she thought that she was not in the mood.

"I was wondering if you had any idea what the Witch could want. She knows that we know that she exists so what does that mean that she has not attacked yet?"

"That she's smart" Regina said bitterly. "Newsflash Snow you don't attack someone who knows your coming straight from the off. You have to take your time."

"You attacked straight from the off"

"Little things while I put the big plan together. Besides I don't want her to attack. I am still trying to figure something out"

"You mean about your mother?"

"Yes"

"Why don't you try and speak to her?"

"Because she's dead Snow. Remember?"

"No I mean…why don't you try and speak to her the old fashioned way, through the void of life and death"

Regina stared at her it was not like it wasn't a good idea, it actually was a very good idea that she had been avoiding simply because she did not want to talk to her mother about anything ever. EVER. What was more surprising quite frankly was that Snow had been the one to bring that idea to her.

"Because that would involve speaking to my mother which I don't want to do. But if it bothers you so much then let me assure you that would involve the darkest kind of magic that I told you I wasn't doing anymore"

"Maybe you should"

She could have laughed but her stomach was still raw.

"Seriously?" she asked flatly turning to look at the other woman. "You don't like dark magic, you try to kill me for using it, you take my son away from me and then you want met to use it because the going gets tough and you can't see a way out? My God you and that…you don't get it do you? You don't get to say one thing in public and then the other in private darling it doesn't work like that"

Snow opened her mouth but Regin was already ahead of her.

"Go" she said flatly. "I feel sick. I am not in the mood"

"Is it Robin?"

"No" she said feeling stung. "It's your hypocrisy. And there is no Robin" she said because she could. Snow rolled her eyes and the urge to smack her down like the irritant gnat she was, was so overwhelming Regina stood up and walked away without another word. She was the Queen she was above such undignified displays. She walked down the corridor her high heels clicking and then she used magic to send herself back to her room.

She sat on the bed suddenly staggering before she retched into the chamber pot half hidden under the bed. She retched her whole body shaking with the force of it and then she shoved it to one side. She could smell something revolting and it was clear that it was the incense that was burning in her room to get rid of the smell of staleness. She threw it over the balcony and then curled up on the side of the bed the vertigo hitting her. One did not usually use one's magic to be lazy, Rumple had always warned her against that but she used magic now to get herself changed and into bed and she snuggled against the warm sheets feeling her heart and her head throb.

She missed Henry. She wanted her son back.

But as she dreamed it was off another dark haired baby waving towards her their chubby fists and gummy smile making her heart heave and turn over with love and when she woke up her face was wet and her throat raw with a scream that only her dream self would be able to see.

It was off the baby and as Regina went for them she found that they were both engulfed with a violent, vile green smoke.

And it was then that she woke up biting back the scream that she did not understand and wanting arms around her. A phantom, a man, a woman, a baby and a love that she did not think that she would ever get again.

And yeah...here we go.

Next Chapter-Regina is still sick...it takes a helping hand to make her realise what it is. And then she has to process what this means. (Another chapter set in the Enchanted Forest)
