BGM: Hidden Technology (Sonic Frontiers)
A machine moved through the forest, its lights shining through the trees as the machine weaved around them. The Egg Mobile kept moving until it shined its lights directly at some ruins. Eggman hopped out of his Eggmobile as he was joined by Orbot, Cubot and Metal Sonic.
Eggman approached the ruins with a gleeful look in his face. He pulled out a device and planted it on the ruins. It activated and caused red lights to shine and travel up through the ruins.
"Uploading AI program: Now."
"Hehehe." Eggman chuckled as the ring above the ruins started glowing with red energy, complete with it sounded like screams of terror echoing in the air, which was enough to make Orbot and Cubot flinch.
"Orbot, I'm scared! Hug me, brother!" Cubot exclaimed as the duo hugged each other in fright.
The sky above them turned grid-like and electrically red. Behind them, creatures emerged from portals as Orbot and Cubot tightened their grips on each other while Metal turned around, ready for combat.
However, Eggman simply smirked.
"Stand down, Metal." He ordered. "It's all coming online! The Ancients' secrets will be mine!"
Suddenly, the device started to electrocute and static, causing Eggman to turn around quickly.
"Status report. Answer me!"
"Simulations complete. Executing protective initiative."
"What? No. NO!" He immediately grabbed onto it, where he was immediately pulled in. The robots quickly jumped in and tried to pull Eggman out, but they too were sucked into the ruins.
End BGM
"That was the last known location of Eggman."
Kyoko turned to Weiss, Meryl, Sonic and Tails. "According to what Tails had shown me earlier, Eggman seemed to be interested in some ruins… but then he disappeared."
"How do you know he fell off of the face of Mobius anyway?" Weiss asked.
Kyoko smiled. "You know that news broadcast a few weeks ago? When Eggman came in, he had unknowingly set himself up into a second trap, because what he didn't know was that I was able to trace his call. Once we were done, I asked Tails to use his "tracker hacker magic". Once he got the trace, we are officially able to keep tabs on Eggman at all times without him knowing. If he ever made another move, Tails and I would be the first to know."
"And so, because of that, Sonic and I were able to find you. Kyoko thought it'd be best to strategize with you considering… well… you know." Tails said.
Weiss clenched her fists. "For the good of Atlas…"
"Ya know, I thought you hated Atlas." Sonic said.
BGM: Jolene (Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door)
"The city sucked, yes… and all the higher good for nothing stuck ups. But… the rest weren't all bad. There were some good people there. Good kids too." She closed her eyes. "I'm just not sure if all of them made it out…"
"Ah, yeah… that'll do it."
"I know there are still some Atlesians that are still blaming the family for not lifting a finger against Eggman's invasion but… I've learned to ignore them. I don't know if I can do the same for Eggman."
Kyoko frowned. "Weiss…"
"He almost blew up Remnant! May I remind you of what happened to Argus? Or what he did to Pyrrha? …Or kidnapping all of Ruby's family and blackmailing Byleth to force her to comply?"
Weiss looked away, clenching her fists. "He's got to go…"
"Weiss…" Meryl frowned.
"I understand why you think that way, but I strongly believe that is your grievance speaking. I've heard what happened with Adam… and I'm not taking any chances with you dealing with Eggman in a… horrific way. He might prove to be an asset."
"An asset? An asset of what?"
"That… I am not entirely sure of yet, but I highly doubt eliminating Eggman would be the wisest play. From what I could tell from that broadcast, when he mentioned he wanted to preserve life from Salem, he sounded… almost fatherly in a way."
"Maybe to you…"
"Perhaps. But, I'm not going to send you alone to deal with Eggman. The last thing we need is for you to take him on alone with no one holding you back. You recall what happened with your Fierce Deity, do you not?"
Weiss stiffened. "That's… a bad memory I'd rather not think about."

"Which is why I've decided to call up a team that'll help you out…" Kyoko said, pulling out her phone and calling Aoi. "Send 'em in."
"You got it~!"
The doors opened up behind them as the sisters turned their heads to see Ruby, Yang, Oran, Blake, Jade, Futaba, Iris, Rantaro, Penny, SAPR, Keebo, GLaDOS, Cave, Nagisa, Dipper, Masaru, Jataro, Kotoko, Mine and Silver.
"...Oran?" Weiss wondered.
"He wanted to tag along." Ruby said as Oran waved.
Sonic leaned close to Kyoko. "You sure SAPR is a good idea given R3-B7's inside of her?" He whispered.
"It's a gamble I'm willing to take." Kyoko whispered back. "Plus, there might be a way to shut down R3-B7 for good should she start acting up."
"Aaaah, good thinking."
"I also thought it'd be best for Jade to get her mind off things for a while, given how I've heard about her relationship with Myra currently." Kyoko explained. "Iris and Rantaro were also eager to help out with that."
"What about Nyx and the twins?" Tails asked.
"I figured it'd be best if they stuck around, just so if Myra would want a friend to talk to if she doesn't feel like chatting with the Wolves or the Ace Ops. Hence why most of the Phantom Thieves are remaining here as well because I know they hit it off with her pretty well."
Tails nodded. "Sounds good."
"Remind me to bring her to Mobius. She might enjoy it over there." Sonic said.
"Has she been to other worlds yet?" Tails wondered.
"The only worlds that she went to that I'm aware of are Hyrule and, just recently, Popstar." Futaba said. "Though she hasn't made her way to Gensokyo yet… probably a good thing."
Earlier…
BGM: Funny Footsteps (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)
"So squishy…" Myra mused, poking Kirby's cheeks, causing him to giggle. He pulled his cheeks apart. "So… malleable!"
Kirby still giggled as Myra let go of him. "Poyo!"
Myra's eyes sparkled as she hugged Kirby. "And just the right amount of adorableness! Augh, you're so adorable, I could just die of cuteness overload~!"
"Poyo!" Kirby nuzzled against her with a friendly smile.

Back in the present…
"She's made good friends with Kirby though." Futaba chuckled.
Kyoko smiled. "That's good."
BGM: Tactics (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)
Kyoko's smile disappeared. "Now then, there's something else that you all need to know about. Tails?"
Tails nodded, pushing a button on his device to show off holograms of the Chaos Emeralds. "Just recently, the Chaos Emeralds have disappeared. I had them in my lab earlier in case if we needed them, but for some reason, they vanished when my back was turned. It took me a while to locate them, but I finally pinned them down."
Tails brought up an island on the hologram.
"The Starfall Islands. From what I've gathered, the Chaos Emeralds were drawn to this island."
"We believe that Eggman might have something to do with it, because we've picked up on a faint signal that indicates that Eggman might be there. What he's doing over there and why the Chaos Emeralds are there is anyone's guess." Kyoko explained. "But it's given us some red flags that Eggman may as well be plotting something with those Emeralds."
"Ah, the good ol' "taking the Emeralds away from Egghead" tactic. Sounds like some good fun." Yang said.
"I see…" Weiss nodded.
"If it's enough to knock down Robotnik, then it's good enough for me." SAPR said.
"Hold on, before we head off…" Meryl turned to the younger Ultimates and Dipper. "Where's Kokoron and that Mabel girl?"
"I have them on standby just in case." Nagisa said.
"Waddles was feeling a bit sick, so Mabel decided to stay to keep an eye on him." Dipper explained. "And Kokoron asked to help her out if need be."
"Yeah. It's why I have them on standby, though in case if we need extra hands, I've asked Mabel to call in her uncles to pet sit for her." Nagisa explained.
"Okay, that makes sense." Meryl nodded.
"Come on." Sonic started walking out. "Amy's already waiting for us with the X-Tornado."
With a nod, everyone started walking out with everyone giving Weiss a sympathetic look.

"Good luck, everyone." Kyoko said as she watched them walk out. She rubbed her chin in thought shortly after. "I wonder if I ought to have a B team on standby, just in case…"
Later, at the Smash Mansion…
"Wait, hang on a moment, guys!" Kotoko spoke up.
"What's up?" Sonic asked.
Kotoko pointed behind her with her thumb. "Nagisa and Dipper went off to the armory real quick."
"Ugh… hurry up…" Weiss mumbled under her breath.
At the armory…
BGM: Malo Mart Theme (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)
"I figured you might want to have something under your belt." Nagisa said.
"Yeah, considering we got nasty monsters roaming around, you can't be too careful." Dipper admitted as they wandered around the armory.
At that moment, Dipper found some hilts on a wall as he curiously picked one up. "Let's see… what's this?" He wondered as he pressed a button as a beam of energy came out of the hilt, where the energy was shaped like a blade. "Oh!"
"That, my friend, is the Beam Sword." A voice said as they turned to see Master Hand approaching them. "Ah, apologies if I scared you, I was in the middle of inventory when I heard one of them activate."
"Ah, sorry about that…" Nagisa said.
"Nah, don't worry about it." Master Hand waved it off. "We get shipments in every few days, so it's all good."
"Now what do I want for ranged…" Dipper wondered, completely unfazed by a sentient floating right hand as he immediately took notice of the Ray Gun. "Ooooh."
"Ah, you like that? That is the Ray Gun… and I've been meaning to upgrade them for a while now."
"Why's that?" Dipper asked.
"Sixteen laser shots and then after that, it's pretty much useless." Nagisa responded.
"Indeed. Crazy kept insisting I give some weapons some upgrades. Though, his upgrades in mind include having the Super Scope unleashed a fully charged Hyper Beam-like laser and I'm not so keen on unleashing a monstrosity like that."
Inside Master Hand's imagination…
"Got you now." Wolf smirked, charging up the Super Scope and aimed directly at Mega Man, then he released the trigger as a massive yellow laser shot out of it. Mega Man's eyes widened as he tried to get out of the way while Isabelle floated her way over to safety… and got struck by the laser instead.
"Aaaaack!"
"Ooooh!" Wolf whispered while Mega Man grimaced.
Back in the real world…
"Nope… not doing that."
He then chuckled. "However!" He snapped his fingers at a Ray Gun that Dipper was reaching for.
"What'd you do?" Dipper wondered.
"I gave it a one minute cooldown after its shots are used up. There's also a safety lock switch in there that will prevent accidental discharge when it's not in use."
Dipper smiled. "Sounds good to me."
"Give it a try! And if you like it, I'll do the same with the rest of them. No more wasting these Ray Guns! …Believe me, there have been several complaints about using these as throwable items when they run out of juice."
"I wonder why…" Chrom mumbled as he walked by with a black eye while Greninja had an ice pack on his head.
"Noted…" Dipper sweatdropped with Nagisa.

As the others were waiting and Weiss was impatiently tapping her foot on the ground while folding her arms, while Meryl and RBY were trying to keep her calm, they all noticed Luminary approaching.
"Hey Weiss…"
Weiss turned her head. "Huh? You're coming to help?"
"No, I'm not helping with this, but I won't interfere when you find Eggman… but I hope you find your answer."
"My… answer…?" Weiss wondered as Luminary walked away, awkwardly rubbing his arm while frowning. "What do you-"
"If your title is to bring back the light and hope in people… then where's mine?"
Weiss frowned. "Oh…" She looked down with a hint of guilt in her eyes.
"Okay, we're set!" Nagisa said as they came back. "Let's rock and roll."
"Right!" Ruby nodded as they headed off.
Later…
BGM: Arriving On Starfall Islands (Sonic Frontiers)
The X-Tornado flew through the skies with Azure, Saki, Valka that Winter had let them borrow, and Meryl's Phoenix accompanying them. "Alright, we should be getting close to Starfall Islands." Tails said.
"How exciting!" Amy smiled.
"You said the Chaos Emeralds were pulled here, right?" Silver asked as he levitated nearby. "Wonder what drew them over here."
"If I had to guess, Eggman probably did something, so we'll have to keep our guards up." Sonic said, casually sitting on a wing.
Suddenly, at that moment, the X-Tornado started to act weird and started to drop. At the same time, the Monsties and Phoenix started to act up as well.
"Whoa, whooooa! Easy! What's gotten into you boy?" Weiss wondered.
"Heeeeel, Ice dragon! Heeeeeel!" Kotoko exclaimed.
"There's some kind of atmospheric charge! Hang on!" Tails said as he tried to regain altitude.
"Tails, everything okay over there? I'm noticing that you're dropping really fast." Kyoko said.
"We got it under control, Kyoko!" Tails said when suddenly an electrical grid appeared in front of them, followed by a portal that opened up. "...Maaaaybe nooooot!"
"Oh, this isn't good!" Jade exclaimed as they tried to get away, but the portal sucked them all in and closed the moment they all entered.

With Kyoko…
"Tails, can you hear me? Tails? Tails! Guys, are you okay out there? Guys!" Kyoko called, but all she got was static.
She clenched her fists as she stood up. "Okay… that's it. Time to see if I can't round up a B Team. I want to know what the hell just happened."
Meanwhile, at Patch…
"You going somewhere?" Dorothea asked.
"Yeah, I'm gonna check up on Chiaki." Byleth said. "I feel like the girl needs some love."
"Oh, let me come with you!" Dorothea smiled. "Perhaps my lovely singing voice will calm her nerves."
"You girls headed out?" Rosalina asked.
"Yeah, we'll be back. We're gonna check up on Chiaki after what happened recently."
"I'll come with you. She will definitely need my magic touch." She giggled.
Meanwhile… somewhere else…
"LAAAAWREEEEEEEENCE! Is the device ready?"
"Indeed, Dr. Nefarious. It is ready to go."
"Excellent! Now let's see if we can't visit this world that Ratchet visited. Hahahaha!" He cackled as the device opened up a portal and went inside of it… right as Ratchet and Clank ran inside.
"Aaah, shoot! We're too late!" Ratchet growled. "How are we gonna warn them now?"
"I wouldn't despair too heavily, Ratchet." Clank walked over and picked up another device. "Nefarious made two of them! Oh, and there appears to be a note."
"Dear Ratchet: I made another one of these just so you can try to keep up! I dare you to reach them before we can! - Nefarious"
"Oh, that's too kind of him." Ratchet said as he pressed a button, opening a portal. "Shall we?"
"Yes. Let us go warn our friends!" Clank said as they quickly ran through the portal.
…However, on the other side…
Both of them landed on the ground. "Huh… where are we?" Ratchet wondered. "The place looks so… technologic and… purple."
"Perhaps we're somewhere else on Remnant."
"Yeah, you're definitely right." Ratchet nodded as they started to walk… only to find an invisible tripwire as a cage dropped down on top of them. "Ack!"
"Aaaah! You've fallen right into my trap, Perry the Platypus! Now I will tell you what… what… wait, who are you people?"
"Uh… hi! I'm Ratchet and this is Clank. Who are you?"
"I'm Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz… and that trap is meant for Perry the Platypus, not some small robot and whatever you are."
"Lombax."
"Lombax? Never heard of it. It must be some extinct animal… let me look it up while I wait for Perry the Platypus."
Clank turned to Ratchet. "Ratchet, I believe Nefarious gave us the prototype on purpose to throw us off."
Ratchet groaned. "Well played, brainiac… well played… welp, we might be world hopping for a while."
Yeah, they're gonna be there for a while.

Yeah! And, originally, this was gonna be SPRS (Spears) Frontiers with Ruby being the star. However, it was brought up that since this is currently in Weiss's arc, it would make more sense that it'd be Weiss being the main character instead of Ruby.
I mean... it makes sense. Not like Weiss is a mage similar to Blaze the Cat or anything.
