After doing everything the right way in the first timeline, Frisk was compelled to do the genocide route for what they felt were "good" reasons. In doing so, they have broken utterly and become something new. Something absolutely devoted to Sans, and not remotely sane. Now they are striving to fix everything and find their path forward. What the hell is Sans supposed to do now?

The world is destroyed. Strange creatures no one has seen before have swarmed the planet, killing everything save a small band of Monsters, and soon, even they will be gone. Their only hope, a thousand years in the past. Traveling back to the war of humans and Monsters, Frisk and their friends hope to change the outcome of the war to avert this horrible future.

At the end of the war, monsters don't have the choice : they have to join Mont Ebott for survive another day. Sans and Papyrus, forced to run away after the attack of their village, are delivered to the horror of the war without any help and this one objective. But as sons of the royal scientist, W.D Gaster, they are an easy target. Both of them start a dangerous journey.

With a quick use of Sans' magic, we had returned to our home on the surface. The lovely three-story home sat quietly among the trees under the moonlight. Sans always loved to teleport just outside the door and glance at it before walking in. He was a little less lazy since coming to the surface. So much to learn. So much to do. So much to love.
