Hello my darling readers! This is an idea I've been playing at for a while. Enjoy!

Brian (3rd person):
Brian O'Connor knelt next to a black van as he scoped out his newest assignment. Sergeant Tanner was on the phone with him, briefing him one last time. After the incident with the Torrettos, and his stint in Lompoc, the courts found him innocent of aiding and abetting, seeing as the Torrettos were never found guilty. The blame had been placed on the Trans, and Tanner had welcomed him back. This would be his first assignment since then. There were a few drivers unloading boxes into the warehouse, the guards surveying the place.
"Alright Brian, you know we can't afford to have you fuck this up. You can't pull the same stunt as last time. You infiltrate the place, get our info, and get out. You understand?" Tanner relayed over the phone.
"Yes, sir. I understand. There are 3 guards stationed outside the main entrance, along with 6 drivers unloading. The boxes are huge, but one of the trucks is unattended. Judging by the info I heard after I hacked their comms, the driver hasn't shown up. I should be able to waltz right up and claim to be the driver. I am going to right now, just as soon as these -wha?" He grunted as a person behind him threw an arm around his neck, the phone dropping and cracking on the pavement.
He threw an arm back, slamming it into the person's ribs. They didn't drop their hold, and he felt a prick in his neck. The world spun rapidly as the drug sped through his bloodstream. As his legs started to give out, he almost swore he saw Dominic Toretto sitting in the driver seat of a passing vehicle, staring at him. His vision went dark, and he lost consciousness.

Dom (1st person):
I cruised down the highway, enjoying the weather with Jesse in the passenger seat next to me. I'd been promising the kid I'd take him to this new parts shop that opened, about an hour away. The grin on his face made me feel better, one of the only things that could. I was still angry, livid about the shit the Buster pulled. He fucked with my sister, my family. Deep down I knew that I should let it go, that he saved both Vince and Jesse from an awful fate. I just couldn't, especially since he just disappeared. No one's seen him since. He didn't even try to apologize.
I focused on the road and something caught my eye. There was a scuffle in a warehouse parking lot. A muscular man snuck up behind an oddly familiar blonde guy who was kneeling next to a van whilst holding a phone to his earand put him in a headlock. The guy struggled, and he was turned towards the road.
I almost lost control of the car, slowing way down.
"Holy shit, is that the buster?" I muttered, and Jesse turned to look. The guy met my eyes just as he collapsed, and was dragged inside by his hair.
"Couldn't be. Brian didn't have that scar by his ear. It's huge. Should we call the police anyway?" Jesse asked. I shook my head.
"I don't fuck with police, don't snitch. Besides, that's gang shit. The dude is already dead."

Hours later:
Jesse was still grinning as we entered the house. He spent hours pouring through all the new parts, and he was now very satisfied. Vince and Leon were sitting on the couch, seemingly about to turn on the television. Mia was chopping vegetables in the kitchen.
"Hey Dom," Vince called, and Mia looked up at me and smiled. Leon looked up and nodded at me through a mouthful of food.
"Hey you guys," I answered, grabbing a cold beer from the fridge, and hugging Mia as I joined Vince on the couch. He flicked on the tv, already on a news station.
"This just in, newly reinstated police officer Brian O'Connor is missing. As you know, after failing to arrest his targets, Officer O'Connor was arrested and sentenced to 10 years in Lompoc prison for aiding and abetting. However, evidence came in proving that the Torrettos were innocent, and he was released after only two. Reinstated as a police officer as a condition upon being released, O'Connor was on a mission early this morning, where he was on the phone with one Sergeant Tanner. Tanner says that he was talking to O'Connor when the phone was dropped and mysteriously lost signal. He has not been seen or heard from for 6 hours now. If you have any information regarding this case, please inform the police immediately. Here is a recent photo of Brian O'Connor."
A picture of him with a large scar down his face appears, the scar extending into his blonde hair. He looked miserable, his eyes bloodshot with huge bags under them.
Dom dropped the beer in shock, and Jesse froze.
"What?" Jesse choked out.
"It was him," I muttered, before slamming my fist into the wall.
"Fuck! That's way he never came by, never apologized. They had him in Lompoc, and then roped him back into police work." Leon said.
"We saw him, this morning. Some gang member drugged him. He looked right at me. I fucking knew it was him," I said.
"What's it matter? The buster was never one of us anyway. He lied. I knew he was a fucking cop, and he still is!" Vince exclaimed. I looked pointedly at him.
"He saved your life. He saved Jesse's. Fuck, he even saved mine. He went through Lompoc because we never went back for him. Buster or not, he's family."
Surprisingly, Vince nodded. "You're right. Let's go get the buster."

Brian (3rd person):
Brian woke up to an awful headache. He was in a chair, his hands tied firmly to the armrests, and his ankles secured to the legs of the chair. His vision was blurry, shapes and colors shimmering around the edges. Whatever drug had been used on him was strong and still hadn't worn off. He felt very out of it. He dizzily took in his surroundings. He was in a dim room that reeked of human misery, suspicious dark brown stains on the walls.
The door was unlocked and slammed open.
"Hello Brian. Remember me?" A familiar voice drawled.
His eyes focused enough to make out a face he had hoped to never see again.
Earl O'Connor, his father.
