Agent Teachers

AU: Kagome Higurashi, being a rookie as an agent has been assigned to be a teacher at a school that had been a target of a terrorist attack. The only problem is that her partner Inuyasha isn't letting her doing it alone.

Hello my fellow readers. Up until recently, I'm been receiving a review that had nothing to do with this story at all. I had no choice but to delete this story and start all over again, and hopefully not to get some scumbag who sent me that review ever again. So once again, enjoy.

Chapter 1

"…This just in. Another school has been lockdown due a terrorist attack in the city…" A TV reporter calmly explains the scene before the tv is turned off. "Ok, Higurashi. Tell me what exactly happened at that school?" A man in a black business suit as well as a black neck-tie, long silver knee length hair, along with a pair of cold golden eyes was two purple straight stripes on his face with a serious scowl asks her.

"Someone tried to kill someone else in that school, Sesshomaru." Kagome Higurashi replies casually. She's in a business outfit of her own with a grey blouse and a black skirt on with a low heels and her own expression that she's trying to be serious as her superior worker. That made him deepen his scowl.

"Honestly, Kagome. Do you even know that inside of that structure of the building itself? You may be a rookie but you need to be more vigilante at the task at hand." Sesshomaru speaks in his cold demeanor, though Kagome does everything she can not to be intimidated by him.

"I have been for about a year and yet I've not been promoted to the higher ranks of it. I'm a human after all, this is all I can do for you and your brother." Kagome remarked at him with frown.

"Half-brother, Higurashi. Remember that the next time you want to add him into this discussion." Sesshomaru reminds her bluntly. Kagome nods back. "My apologies." She bows with that.

"For now, you'll have to wait till the school is in the clear and to make sure that terrorist doesn't show up before it's too late. We need to know as much as we can to protect the building without any of the students or faculty realizing our plan. Do I make myself clear?" Sesshomaru gives her the file with her name on it. Kagome takes the file to see what's written on it.

"What is this?" Kagome questions him curiously. Sesshomaru sighs. "That there is your job application to be a teacher there, you can pick any topic that is best suited to your degree. From the location of the terrorist attack, it must've been from the high school. So you'll have to choose from the following grades of freshmen to senior."

Kagome is smart. There's no doubt about it. Not to mention that she had the highest GPA throughout her time. It's no wonder that Sesshomaru suggested this idea. "When do I start?" She asks him, seeing that his cold eyes are beginning to get boring with her presence. "Tomorrow." He answers her immediately. Kagome gathers her messenger bag, putting the file in it and leaves the room.

Kagome walks out of the room and straight to the closest elevator. "So how did it go?" A new voice asks her as soon as she came out. "He wants me to be a teacher for that school. How pathetic." Kagome answers the new person honestly, not really in the mood to think or talk about it to anyone, especially that person who came up to by the elevator.

The person is a male half demon. His hair is long silver to his backside. His eyes are a warm golden color, and his hands have long claws, little fangs in his mouth. But the most adorable feature about him is a pair of akita ears on top of his head. "Really, that seems to be rather dumb if you ask me." His voice kind of agrees with it. "Don't, Inuyasha. Sesshomaru made it clear that I do this. Besides you're better suited for the task than me." Kagome groans as they enter the elevator and presses the button to the required floor.

"Well, us demons are not allowed on human properties, even the school system. Even though I'm a half, I'd rather stay out of it." Inuyasha comments to her with a frown. The doors open to let Kagome and Inuyasha off into the parking garage. "Look, I'm tired as it is. I'm going home, get some sleep and hope that tomorrow's assignment doesn't fail. If it does, I'm never going to hear the end of this from Sesshomaru. My last one is to remind me of that. I don't need another one." Kagome said to him as she gets into her car and drives out of the parking garage.

The moment her car was gone, Inuyasha heads to his own and drives to his own house that his brother owns for him. It doesn't take him that long for him. Just a nice little quaint house in the middle of the neighborhood. He gets into his own garage and goes into the house. "I see you wanted to talk to Kagome." A male's voice spoke, thus making Inuyasha groans. "Miroku, why would you be here instead of your house with your wife and kids?" Inuyasha asks him as he goes into a fridge to get some water. Miroku chuckles as he sits comfortably on the couch in the living room with a beer can in his one head.

"Oh by the way, your brother left this for you before you got home." Miroku hands over a file to Inuyasha as soon he sits down in his recliner. Inuyasha opens it up to see it's a tablet, along with a note with directions. "What is this?" Inuyasha asks with an eyebrow raised. Miroku shrugs his shoulders. Inuyasha turns on the tablet and types down the numbers that the note left for the password. Once typed in, there's a dot on one of the applications. Inuyasha looks down to the note to see what it says. "There's a video message for me." Inuyasha only said as he opens up the video to watch.

"Inuyasha Takahashi." A familiar voice speaks to him. "It's Rin." Inuyasha states to Miroku as he leans over to see the video too. "I want to send you this message because Sesshomaru isn't in the mood to talk to you in person. I know how it goes whenever he's in this condition."

Rin is a petite woman with deep brown hair to the middle of her back, with a few strains sticking out. She has wooden brown eyes that go with the hair. "So basically, she's Sesshomaru's messenger." Miroku said to him.

"Anyway. We both know about the rules about demons are forbidden to enter human establishments. As you are no exception, until now." Rin smiles in the end. Inuyasha look at her confused. "Even though you're a half demon, as well as a half human, we were able to get you to appear completely human so you can keep an eye on Kagome, knowing how much she means to you."

That alone made Inuyasha smile in gratefulness. "As such, we will stop by first thing in the morning to give you the equipment that will make you human. Along with other gadgets to help Kagome out with her assignment. Before leaving, we emailed you and Kagome your fake names so that no one at the school will know your real identities when you arrive." The video ends.

"Well that's something." Miroku comments to him as he takes a sip of his beer. Inuyasha goes to his laptop and opens up the email that Sesshomaru sent to him. "Looks like he wants to make up without really seeing me face to face." Inuyasha opens the email to see the information. That's when he frowns deeply.

Miroku catches that expression. "Let me guess, Sesshomaru gave you a stupid fake name." He smirks. Inuyasha scoffs at that remark. "Of all the names he decided to give me was this." Inuyasha repositions the laptop to show Miroku. Miroku widens his eyes. "No…" He couldn't finish because his mind is blank at that point.

"Toga Tikishima. He decides to have my father's name. I don't want to be called that." Inuyasha complains to his friend. Miroku sighs, "Like it or not, you're stuck with that name until the assignment is finished." He advice calmly.

"Fine. Anyway, I need to get ready so if I were you, I'd go back home to your family." Inuyasha closes his laptop, plugs it to the charger and gets up. Miroku doesn't need to say a word and leaves the house. As soon as Miroku left, Inuyasha goes down to the basement to a room where his weights and a mat are. After a few stretches, he does his wraps and a then goes to the mat and soon a punching bag comes down to his. Since he can't use his claws, Inuyasha practices his fighting moves to get the frustration out on the bag with intense force. It takes him about an hour until the frustration is out of his system. He walks up into his bathroom and wash up.

Kagome dries her hair with a blow dryer, trying to look presentable for tomorrow. Soon enough her phone chimes to alert her. She turns off the blow dryer and looks to see what the alert was. "Email." She said as she opens the app to see what the email is. It's from Sesshomaru. She taps it and reads it.

Dear Kagome,

I know I was harsh to you today due to your failure. As such I think it's best that you are given a different name when you head out to your assignment. Here's the file with the information with the teaching bio I set up for you.

My Regards, Sesshomaru Takahashi.

Kagome sighs deeply. "He never knows how to apologize to me." She comments dryly as she downloads the document that came with the email. She reads most of it until what her fake name is. "Miyuki Aino." Kagome isn't pleased about this one bit, "Why can't I pick my own fake name for this?" She complains and prints out the document from her printer.

"Oh yeah, I can't. Hooray for me." Kagome sarcastically cries before changing into her pink flora pajama pants and a black t shirt. She goes straight, too tired to think of what to do for the rest of the day.
