Neb: This is the second season of my Beyblade Fanfic after Beyblade Sin. In my last one, Sin Venger found Legend Spriggan, fixed it up, evolved it, and awakened it's power to battle against her brother Domori Venger. It was quite a long journey where we got to meet many of my OCs and many of the in cannon characters, and I intend to have this story be similar in that regard. Also, Beyblade Sin took place a little after the Turbo era and before Rise. This fanfic will take place during Rise. I'm not sure if I'll make this a complete AU, or just have my Oc stay away from the main storyline, but we will find out soon. For now, I do not own Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, or any content of Beyblade. This is a fanfic starring my OC Domori Venger and his Draconids.
It was so cold. How could Domori have gotten himself locked in the restaurant's refrigerated walk in. The young boy was crying at this point as he pounded away at the refrigerator door. "Someone help!", Domori cried. He had made it to the semifinals of the local beyblade tournament with little effort and now this one obstacle was keeping him from moving forward. "Let me out!" Domori moved from pounding on the metal door to slamming his shoulder into it and even punching it. Repeatedly, over and over until his knuckles begun to crack, his hands and shoulders bruised, and his arms gave out. "This isn't fair! I was going to win, I was going to beat Lui!"
"As if you were going to beat Lui," a voice mocked him.
Domori turned around to find that voice, but saw no one. "Who was that?"
As the lights in the refrigerator went out, the voice begun to take shape within the darkness. A face just like Domori's stared right back at him.
"W-what? Who are you?"
"It doesn't matter what I am," the other boy grinned. "I'm just here to tell you the truth. Lui was league's ahead of you, this door locking is your salvation. I mean, you were going to embarrass yourself in front of all those people. Not that it mattered to you. You gave up on all of them anyways, didn't you."
"Shut up," Domori shouted at him.
"You turned your back on your team," the boy cackled. "Your friends... your family!"
"Sin," Domori teared up. "I... It's not fair, why does Wasuke get to fight Lui and I don't!"
"Exactly," the boy grinned back through the darkness. "Why this, why that? You're pathetic, you spent all that money, made all those friends! You will never get any of it back!"
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Domori moved back to slamming his fist against the door.
End of Flashback
Domori woke up under a tree at a park in Spain. It had been many years since the incident, but he still battles with Shadow Domori within his mind for dominance. His dark side seemed to be rearing it's ugly head back even after he had resolved his issues with Lui and Sin. The Turbo era was over and now bladers were rising up with the new Gamma Beyblade. What Domori didn't expect was to feel someone breathing up against his neck. He turned his head to see the young blonde boy he was training panting heavily with his face completely reddened.
"Dante," Domori responded slightly aggravated. "Personal space buddy!" Domori looked at his healed knuckles and sighed as he came back to reality.
Dante jumped back as he was yelled at and then lunged forward again, this time nearly pressing his beyblade in Domori's face. "Sorry, I just wanted to show you my new beyblade. Its a gamma blade!"
"I can't see it if you... ugh Dante! Your impossible!" Domori grabbed the blade from Dante getting it out from under his nose and moving it under the light where he could get a better look. "A Dragon Beyblade again," Domori deduced.
"Yup," Dante grinned. "Behold Ace Dragon, one of many forms to come!"
"I like it," Domori nodded.
"So when are you going to build yours?", Dante wondered.
Domori looked down and sighed as he remembered the tournament against Aiger Akabane. He knew Aiger was going to be evolving his own Achilles as well, and Valt had already evolved his Valkyrie. Domori got up from his spot and brushed himself off. "I'll go look for inspiration again. I'm sure it'll find me in town."
"I'll go to," Dante grinned.
"No," Domori shook his head. "I can't go off of your influence. I need Draconids to be himself."
Danted frowned as Domori headed off.
It had been a couple months after Domori had lost to Aiger in the title match for World Champion. Valt had faced Aiger almost another half a year before him, meaning time had almost passed a full year since the Turbo Era was at it's peak. Domori had in a display case the broken pieces of his Mighty Draconids next to Eclipse Draconids. Because he hadn't evolved it yet, Eclipse Draconids had soon seen a large gap come between it's own strength and the blades of Domori's rivals like Valt and Aiger. Not to mention, now Domori's new pupils had built gamma beys of their own.
Domori made his way into town where he had gone to several different shops looking for new beyblade parts to inspire his next creation. "I know I want to go the spring loaded beyblade route with Draconids like before, but I don't want it to be the exact same blade," Domori sighed to himself.
His Mighty Draconids had four contact points back in the Turbo era, four spikes with springs placed behind them meant to absorb damage and shove the opposing beyblade away. He remembered when he took on Wakiya, Aiger, Valt, and Lui in a free for all battle. The four of them had hit Draconids within all four spikes and was forced back by Domori's Mighty Repulse.
His Eclipse Draconids also from the Turbo Era had a similar amount of contact points behind it's two crescent moon blades. Behind the crescent moon blades were also springs that absorbed damage like Mighty Draconids and dished it back out. Domori remembered Mighty Draconids shattering and feeling like it was all over. Then Valt came over with a freshly built Eclipse Draconids and passed it to him. He used it to win against his sister Sin and to take on the champion Aiger. It had a lot of great moves like the Draconic Spring Dive and the Eclipse Uproar.
"There is one combination I had been thinking about for a while, but I haven't thought of the right shape for the energy layer in order to pull it off. Not to mention the gamma system is much different from Turbo. Before I decide on the chip and the weight, I need to figure out the base."
Domori continued through different stores. He had already gathered a couple different forge disks and drivers that would help an attack type beyblade. "I at least know I want to keep Draconids an attack type right spinning beyblade. I have no use for left spin stealing or trying to balance it. Honestly I should be like Xander for this next iteration. Closing out victories as quickly as possible." With that knowledge Domori had traded up his string launcher for a sword launcher. "Much better," Domori smiled. As he continued down the street he noticed something within the window of a jewelry store. "What was that? It felt familiar?" Domori sighed as he decided to keep walking, but he felt a strong presence pull him back to the shop. "I can't afford anything in here," Domori thought to himself. "So why do I feel like going in this shop?" Domori shook his head and then entered the shop. He did see cool pendants and rings that had sturdy and strong metal. Maybe that's what he was thinking about. He didn't need to spend so much money on jewelry just for that. He could get the same kinds of metals in bulk for the same price online. "Draconids? Are you speaking to me somehow?" He didn't even have his beyblade on him, so it was odd to be hearing it's voice. Domori stopped at a display case in the shop that showed off many different gems and crystals. He stared at it for a moment until a blue crystal caught his eyes.
"Gems and crystals provide healing for the mind, body, and soul," a gentleman spoke up as he stepped next to Domori. The man was possibly in his forties, and he was dressed in an expensive black suit and wore his white hair combed back.
"Do you work here?", Domori asked.
"I don't," the man responded. "I came here to buy for my beloved. It's our anniversary and I think a nice Jade necklace would suit her. How about you, are you shopping for a loved one?"
Domori stared forwards at the blue crystal's shape again. It was almost dagger like the way it was shaped and it reminded him of Draconid's crystal sword. "I was just in town looking for beyblade parts. I doubt these crystals can even help me."
"That's where your wrong friend," the gentleman wagged his finger. "I don't know much about beyblade, but I do know a thing or two about rocks. That before you is no common mineral, it's a meteorite which does in fact contain metal."
Domori's eyes widened. Why was it blue if that was the case? Can meteorite even be blue?
"Sometimes meteorite can come to our world as a different color," the man explained. "Anyways, I must be going. I have a dinner party to attend." He headed to the counter and picked up his pendant he got for his wife. "I'll also buy the meteorite for the young lad over there. I can't wait to see what he uses it for... Beyblade was it? My son might like that game. He doesn't have a lot of friends. Perhaps if you find him in Japan, you can play with him."
"I suppose that's possible," Domori agreed. "I can't thank you enough Mr..."
"Reynolds," the man smiled. "My name is Mr. Reynolds. Have a great day young man."
With that, the gentleman left the shop leaving Domori with the blue crystal meteorite.
"What a generous man," the shop keeper spoke up. "That's one of our rarest pieces, I always liked it's dagger shape."
"Yeah," Domori smiled as he stared at it. "Me to."
Back at BC Soul's workshop Domori had barricaded the door so he would be left alone. "The next step for this beyblade would require a lot of focus if he was going to make it work."
"Come on Domori," Dante called out from outside the door. "I want to see!"
"Dante," Domori yelled back at the door. "What did I say about personal space?!"
"But building beyblades is so cool," Dante argued. "You have to let me see what you come up with!"
"Dante," Valt spoke up from outside the door. "Let's give Domori some space. I'm sure he'll battle us when it's done."
"I can't wait," Dante grinned. "Dragon and I are going to rise to the challenge!"
Domori breathed for a moment before putting on noise cancelling headphones. "He begun working after that. First he started scraping the bits of metal off the crystal carefully. He wanted to keep it's crystal dagger shape as it reminded him of Draconids's sword. Once he had a finer crystal dagger, Domori took the leftover scraping and combined them with some extra steel for strength. He had his 3D printer working on the energy layer base as well and also started pulling springs and watch gears out of his bag. "I'll have to thank my aunt when I get back to Japan," Domori grinned. "These gears are really going to bring my new spring loaded mechanism to life. He worked hard on getting the base together and eventually he placed a gamma blade weight on it in the center pf the base. The base formed a slight triangle shape, similar to his sister Sin's old attack type beyblade Arrow Stag. Then Domori took the crystal dagger and placed it on top locking it into place at the top of the blade. He also had implemented his new spring loaded system into it. This one was going to be more than just a few springs on the sides making the blade bouncy. The spring was along the dagger to push it outwards during battle, similar to Xcalibur. Yet it had it's own twist within the mechanics of this beyblade. Domori smiled at the new Draconids. This was his brand new crystal blue, dagger shaped, beyblade. "Meteor Draconids," Domori grinned as he looked up at the display case with Eclipse Draconids and the pieces of Mighty Draconids within it.
Domori unlocked the door and stepped out of the workshop before turning to Valt, Delta, and Dante.
"Domori," Valt grinned as he pulled out Sword Valkyrie. "You want to battle?"
