Before the story begins, I wanna make it clear that this takes place in it's own universe. This does not connect to any of the FNAF lore or timeline in any sort of way. With that being said, I hope you enjoy reading this!
Chapter 1: Just Another Day
An alarm clock sounded as it was then turned off in a matter of seconds. A brown furry hand became present as whoever this was got up out of bed. The bedroom they were in had some pictures of a pizzeria and friends or family they were with. One of the pictures showed a bear, a chicken, a bunny, and a fox together on a stage they were on. Another picture showed the same bear, but with a yellow or golden bear beside him.
It was revealed that the one who was getting out of bed was this bear, as he took off his nightcap and put on his top hat. He yawned, "Another day of showtime Freddy. Boy, do I need to make some coffee for myself first."
This brown bear was Frederick Fitzgerald Fazbear Jr, but most just called him Freddy. He was the leader of the band he and his friends were apart of, while also managing the pizzeria named after him. Freddy and his friends would perform for the many people who would visit, which were mostly children. Obviously, he enjoyed doing this very much, and so did his bandmates. However, it was also a big responsibility too, since Freddy had inherited the pizzeria from his father.
His father Frederick Fitzgerald Fazbear Sr, would step down from performing to focus more on his own company called Fazbear Entertainment. Back when he was performing before his son took over his role, he went by the nickname Fredbear. Those who didn't see him prior to his son refered to him as Golden Freddy or in some cases, Freddy Sr. Or just to be a smartass, would say the name yellow bear. But nevertheless, Freddy did a really good job like his father before him, and Fredbear knew too.
In a different place, an alarm clock also sounded until it was turned off. This time though, the hand was a blue-ish purple-ish color as the individual got out of bed. The bedroom had a few posters of various bands and even some guitars aside. The individual getting out of bed was revealed to be the bunny from one of Freddy's pictures, except he was wearing a night cap, much like how Freddy was when he woke up. "Another day, another performance!" he said happily.
This was Bonnie Bun Buns, one of the friends and bandmates of Freddy Fazbear. He could often be a clumsy and goofy bunny, but he was an excellent and determined guitarist. Growing up from a music oriented family, Bonnie just naturally wanted to do music at a young age. A future career looked bright for him, but his family's finances didn't.
Despite both his parents being musicians, they struggled financially when Bonnie was much younger. The house they lived in was run down, but they were happy to call it home anyway, because home was better than no home. One day though, his mother, Barbara got hired by Fazbear Entertainment and it changed their lives. Not only were they able to fix up their home, but for the first time in a long time, they didn't struggle financially and didn't need to worry as much about it. And after Barbara left to go play with another band, her son Bonnie took her place.
In yet another place, an alarm clock also sounded, but it was through a phone this time. A yellow hand came in to turn it off and this time it was the chicken getting out of bed. Her bedroom had some paintings of various things and a picture of her and three other chickens by her side. "Well," she yawned, "Not the worst sleep I've gotten, but could've gotten better sleep."
This was Chica Chicken, friends and bandmates with both Freddy and Bonnie. She was definitely the pizza enthusiast of the group as she often made suggestions on how pizzas should be made to both Freddy and the employees who made the pizza. It helped that Chica had experience in making pizza at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, prior to her becoming a band member, and would occasionally help out with it.
Before working in the pizzeria and overall when she was younger, she had just moved into town with her parents and little sister from their old town. She was often picked on by other kids at school, but Chica eventually grew thicker skin to them and began to step up for herself. When she was looking for a job during her high school years, a program within the school helped her with getting a job at Fredbear's Family Diner, as it was called at the time. After graduating high school, Chica worked there full time as a cook, until she got promoted to be one of the stars of the show, after Freddy heard her sing one time.
There was one more place where one more alarm would sound, until it was turned off. Just like Chica, the alarm went through this individual's phone. As predictable as it was, it was now the fox waking up and getting out of bed. His bedroom had several pictures and paintings of the ocean, islands, and boats. One of the many was a photograph of him as a teen and his mother on a beach somewhere in Cuba, as at the time they were staying there for the week. "Time to set sail!" he said.
This was Fritz Huntington, or Foxy as many refered to him as. He was friends and bandmates with the previously mentioned three. He had his own stage called Pirate's Cove, in it's own little area of the restaurant. In fact, Foxy proved to be almost as popular as Freddy himself. How the fox came to the pizzeria was quite intriguing.
Back in Foxy's youth, he lived with his mother in a cottage by the sea in Scotland. He was born without a right hand, so his father made a hook as an artificial one for him. Foxy never met his father, but his mother did state that he did work as a crew member on a cargo ship. This may have very well influenced a young Foxy of getting into sea related things. Sometime when he was a preteen, his mother and him moved to Utah. The transition was a little rough as Foxy missed being by the sea and being in Scotland in general, but he eventually grew accustomed to his new home in Utah.
As Foxy became older and eventually moved into his own place, he looked for job opportunities. He always wanted to spread his love for the sea to those around him, and he thought of Freddy Fazbear's as a perfect opportunity for him. However, his friends would prank call him constantly about getting an offer to become part of the show at the pizzeria. And when he got a call from Freddy after he saw the gigs Foxy was in, Foxy believed it was another prank from his friends. Before he could hang up the phone though, Freddy explained that this was no prank and that he was interested on having Foxy onboard. Since then, Foxy has been a part of the team and hasn't looked back.
Freddy was the first to arrive and unlocked the front doors. Very shortly after, Chica arrived. "Morning Chica!" Freddy greeted. "Morning Freddy!" Chica greeted back, "Didn't get held up in traffic this time." After Chica arrived, the dayshift guard did, alongside the employees who made the pizza, ran the prize counter, did maintenance, and other things.
About 7 minutes later, Foxy walked through the front door. "Morning Foxy!" greeting both Freddy and Chica. "Good morning Freddy! Good morning Chica!" said Foxy, "Time to set sail with our performances! What are yer plans this time? Me plan is to tell of the squashbuckling adventure I had in the country of Peru." "Honestly, same songs, different day," Chica replied. "Though, Bonnie wants to play new songs," Freddy added, "And speaking Bonnie, he should be here any minute."
Bonnie had just arrived and sounded a bit out of breath. "Hey everyone," he panted, "Sorry if I'm a little late, got caught up in morning traffic." Freddy looked at Bonnie a bit surprised, "You got your license? You didn't tell us that." "It was recent," Bonnie said, "I'll show you guys it after, especially since you mentioned potential tours we could go on in the future."
Eventually, the day at the pizzeria began when the people started to show up. Everyone got to work and it seemed to be another ordinary day at Freddy Fazbear's. Before they knew it, it became showtime for the main 4 and this was usually when the pizzeria would be the busiest. However, an unexpected guest would show up in the middle of the peak of the day.
While Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica performed, they saw what looked to be the health inspector walking around, talking to the employees. It weirded them out since there were no inspections planned or mentioned recently. While in the middle performing, Freddy thought to himself, "Uhh, what the hell? Nobody said anything about a health inspector."
Meanwhile, Foxy was playing a song on accordion and singing. Somehow he played fine despite having a hook for a right hand. But the moment he saw the health inspector, he became noticeably nervous as he didn't expect to see him today. Slowly but surely, he struggled with the lyrics and even hitting the right notes.
"What's wrong with Foxy?" asked a kid to his friend. "I don't know," his friend replied, "Maybe he forgot to use the bathroom before playing for us." The kids began to slowly pick up on this and it may have made Foxy only more nervous, even after the health inspector left the room. Because on top of the health inspector showing up unexpectedly and the crowds becoming aware of his nervousness, it made things much harder.
And after what felt like a painful eternity, Foxy finally finished his song. This was good since it was his last song before it was time for a break. He got a few claps from the crowd he played for. "Thank you everyone," Foxy said, "That'll be all for now, until later." He then walked off stage.
Perhaps this ordinary day wouldn't turn out so ordinary after all...
