Suggested by DeviantArt user Helicopter297. Lucy is still mourning the death of Schroeder and even contemplates suicide. Linus, meanwhile, becomes more well-adjusted without his blanket and even stops waiting for the Great Pumpkin. He even reunites with an old flame.

RECAP AND INTRODUCTION

It had been over a year since we lost Schroeder to that pickup truck hitting him after he pushed Lucy out of the way. All of this had happened because Lucy wanted to permanently rid Linus of his blanket. After burning it in a campfire when Franklin's dad took us all up to their cabin, Linus vowed to get his revenge on her. What he had planned was to burn her comic books like she did his blanket, knowing she loved her comic books and were very protective of them, but she thought he was going to do away with Schroeder, leading up to the events of what happened.

Anyway, now I'm heading for the hospital to check up on Lucy. We knew she was still dealing with the loss of Schroeder, but we never thought she would go to these extremes.
