In the Sarutobi Compound Tower
It was a peaceful night, pondered Hiruzen Sarutobi as he put his calligraphy set away for the night and walked over to the residential area of the Sarutobi compound. He could sense the chakra traces of his ANBU guard move as he walked out of the room. They were always out of sight but always there at the same time.
When he entered his bedroom, he remembered that his wife wouldn't join him tonight, as she had important maters to attend to.
As the third hokage started getting ready for bed, he felt something, it was ominous, almost evil. No, definitely evil, there was only one thing he knew that could release such a chakra, the nine tales.

5 years later
Naruto was wandering the streets of Konoha all by himself, he knew he could stay out all night after all, who was waiting for him at home. He still got glares from everyone around him, but he had no idea why.
He chose to ignore them, but sometimes people did more than just glare at him, they spoke to him and insulted him.
But he still decided to ignore the comments, after all he didn't really care what people said about him, or at least he made it seem that way. But that night, everything would change.
It was approaching midnight, and he decided to start walking home, he decided to take a shortcut which would lead him through the Konoha cemetery, but he wasn't afraid of the cemetery like other kids after all somewhere there his brave father and mother were buried according to the third hokage.
As he walked through a rather disgruntled, drunk looking Shinobi was sobbing by a grave, when he saw the blonde haired kid walk through the grave his eyes became bloodshot and his chakra started leaking.
"How dare you walk through here, the place where my friends died because of you, you monster, you need to die"
The Shinobi pulled out a kunai and lunged at Naruto, but before any contact could be made a flash appeared before Naruto as a teenager wearing a wolf mask blocked the kunai with a sword and easily slashed the disgruntled shinobi's in the chest ripping his vest open.
Before Naruto could even react, both him and the Shinobi where being transported through Konoha night sky towards the hokage's tower.
Naruto couldn't think straight and the tears couldn't even form in his eyes as the wind blew them away faster than they could generate.
In the hokages tower
Kakashi appeared in the Hokages office, dropping the drunk Shinobi and putting Naruto on the ground.
The Hokage had already seen what had happened through his crystal ball after all, the fourth Hokage's plan of making Naruto a hero hadn't succeeded and Hiruzen didn't want anything to happen to both the child of the fourth Hokage or a great military asset.
"Explain yourself" asked Sarutobi in a deep calm voice which cut the silence.
The Shinobi was still too disgruntled to do anything, obviously he hadn't thought it through and was now suffering the consequences, "very well, send him to lockup".
Before the sentence was even finished, an ANBU operative wearing a bear mask appeared and took the Shinobi away.
Sarutobi then beckoned the rest of his ANBU guards to leave before activating his sound seals.
Sarutobi had foreseen this moment for a very long time but was praying it wouldn't become a reality, with a deep sigh he raised Naruto's head who was staring blankly as the floor and gave him a smile.
Even this small action would have great effect on the young boy, a single glimmer of hope showing that there was at least one person who was there for him.
He then sat Naruto down and told him to relax, he then beckoned Kakashi closer to him and whispered out of Narutos earshot
"I have an S-Rank mission for you, if you are willing to accept"
"I accept" responded Kakashi, after all the question was more of a formality for an ANBU operative.
"You are to take care of this boy, whether it is as a brother or father figure, it is not safe for him anymore. You will take him under your wing and teach him Shinobi arts from a young age. I understand you are young, but we have no other options with Jiraya running his spy network." whispered Hiruzen.
"Yes, sir" responded Kakashi, under his mask he had a wide grin, after all he knew Naruto was Sensei's son and this was a way for Kakashi to make it up to Minato Namikaze.
After Kakashi's response, Hiruzen walked towards Naruto and told him to listen closely.
"You will now be adopted by Kakashi whether you decide to be his son or brother is up to you and him, but you will have to take on his last name for your own safety, is that okay with you Naruto?"
Naruto nodded, and Hiruzen jumped back in shock, Naruto's eyes where red with a singular black tomoe surrounding his pupil.
But Hiruzen quickly gained his composure, but then realized that Kakashi had also witnessed this, Hiruzen didn't have to word it out for Kakashi to realize his Hokage was telling him to ignore this new revelation for the time being.
Just as Naruto was about to stand up from his chair, Hiruzen told him to try and not think about his eyes and focus more on his other body parts and just like magic his sapphire colored eyes returned.
"Naruto I need you to keep your special eyes a secret for me ok, don't allow them to activate"
"Yes, old man", said Naruto while grinning.
Just before Naruto and Kakashi where about to leave, Naruto asked the Hokage, "Can I ask you a question?"
"Of course you can Naruto" answered the Hokage.
"Why do the villagers and Shinobi of Konoha hate me?" asked Naruto with a hint of sadness in his voice
It seems the glares and comments have gotten to Naruto, thought Hiruzen, and sighed.
"It is because you have the nine tail demon fox inside you Naruto." answered Hiruzen with a pang of regret and sorrow for the young boy.
"Well, I knew that, but why does that make them hate me?" responded Naruto
Both Kakashi and Hiruzen were taken aback by the fact that Naruto knew of the demon sealed inside him.
"How did you know that Naruto?" asked Kakashi the shock still evident in his voice
"Well I have a giant seal on my belly and I have dreams of a big fox sometimes, and I heards the stories and some of the whispers." answered Naruto with a smug grin on his face.
"Very well, it is because of what the fox did before the fourth hokage sealed it in you to save the leaf. He had hoped you would be seen as a hero for taking the burden of the fox demon but the opposite happened." answered the Hokage
"But why would the fourth hokage seal the demon in me, why not any other kid?" counterd Naruto.
"Because he believe in you Naruto, he believed that you are the only one who can control such a monster and I believe in you as well" answered Hiruzen with a small smile.
This made naruto feel delighted, the hero of the village, the person he looked up to believed in Naruto, but before Naruto could ask why the fourth hokage even knew him and believe in him. The Hokage said "That is enough information for today Naruto make you way to your new home with Kakashi".
"Alright" answered a dissapointed Naruto.
Kakashi and Naruto then walked out and made their way to Kakashi's apartment.
An hour later
At the Hokage Tower
"Hiruzen Sarutobi, you owe me an explanation" exclaimed Kakashi.
"Alright to cut the story short, Minato Namikaze is a descendant of Madara Uchihia but this was kept as a high priority village secret. Only he and I knew the secret, and he was therefore never allowed to use or even activate the Sharingan, we made sure of it by creating an artificial Cornucopia. But now that Naruto has already activated it, it would be a waste to, destroy it." explained Hiruzen.
"But how and why is sensei an Uchiha?" questioned Kakashi.
"As you know, Minatos mother let him go at a young age to Jiraya, but she did this because she had a child with Madara Uchihas unknown child who died to sickness shortly after Minato was born." explained Hiruzen.
"Very well, this will make stuff interesting" said Kakashi.
3 weeks later
Training ground 3
"Naruto, you have made several developments in your chakra control, you have more or less mastered all the E ranked Justus" said Kakashi in an extremely positive voice.
"Thank you brother" replied Naruto with a smile on his face.
Naruto at this point now had brown hair instead of his hold gold here to make him blend in more, and wore a pair of black combat pants and a t-shirt.
"Before I teach you some Shuriken Jutsu for you to practice while I go on my next mission, I want to find out your Chakra nature."
Kakashi pulls out his chakra paper from his pocket but before handing it to Naruto, he asks "have you been doing your readings?"
"Yes, in general every Shinobi has an affinity towards one or more of the 5 elements, fire, water, earth, wind and lightning, but I don't recognize that paper?" answered Naruto confidently.
"Well this is a piece of paper created using thin layers of chakra and is able to establish what Chakra nature you have, depending on what affinity you have the paper will do a different thing:
- Fire your paper will burn and turn to ash, water will make your paper damp or wet, wind will make your paper split in two, lightning will make your paper crumple and finally earth will make the paper turn to dirt.
So Naruto channel chakra into the paper to find your affinity." commanded Kakashi as he handed the paper over.
What happened next fascinated Kakashi, the paper first turned damp then proceeded to split into two before wrinkling and then turned into dirt before completely burning away.
"Brother what does that mean?" asked Naruto
"It means you possess all 5 Chakra Releases Naruto I don't know anyone who was born with 5 chakra releases, but I only know 2 who mastered all 5 the first and third Hokage." replied an in awe Kakashi.
"But why is that the case Brother?" asked Naruto
"You probably have water powers from your Uzumaki heritage as they where extremely powerful water style users and it is most likely your most powerful one, you most likely inherited wind style from your father, you possess lightning style once again from your father, your earth style probably comes from the close ties the Uzumaki clan had to the Senjus and finally your fire style come from your connection to the Uchiha clan" replied an out of breath Kakashi.
"This is something truly something special." exclaimed Kakashi.
But before teaching you any chakra nature release ninjutsus, let's teach you some shuriken ninjutsus as well as the body flicker technique.
Kakashi trained with Naruto all day before having to depart for a mission in the early evening.
Naruto was completely exhausted as he walked through the streets of Konoha towards Ichiraku Ramen for dinner when he saw a group of kids playing in a park.
Naruto decided to try his luck, after all these kids seemed different from all the other kids around the leaf who gave him the same stares as the adults. As he approached them he realized there where 4 of them 1 girl and 4 boys. He recognized all of them he had seen their parents on multiple visits to the hokage tower these where the heirs of the Aburame, Inuzuka, Yamanaka, Akimichi and Nara clans.
He approached them sitting on the bench, the Nara kid was lying next to the Akimichi boy who was throwing chips down his throat like their is no tommorow. The Yamanaka girl was sitting admiring the flowers whereas the Abruame kid held back and was standing behind them all and finally the Inuzuka boy was jumping about with his dog.
When the Inuzuka boy smelled naruto rather than saw him he immediatly jumped up and went up to Naruto which which woke the Nara kid from his nap.
Who are you questioned the Inuzuka boy, rather than backing up Naruto answered the question truthfully "I am Naruto Hatake".
"Well its nice to meet you answered the Inuzuka I am Kiba and over there is Shikamaru, Choji (he points at them as he states their name),..." before he could finish, the Yamanaka girl interuppted him
"I can introduce myself you know, I am Ino Yamanaka it nice to meet you"
Naruto smiled at them all, when he realised that the Aburame hadn't responded, what about you in the back?
"Me?" answered the boy in a sceptical tone
"Yeah you, the Aburame kid why didn't you introduce yourself?" asked Naruto genuinly curious.
"Well ussualy people don't converse with me as they find my insects freaky" answered the boy.
"Well insects don't really bug me, and the Aburame clan is poweful and a great part of the leafs military might" responded Naruto.
"Oh in that case, my name is Shino" answered Shino, he was in complete shock never before had he heard his clan be complimented and someone actually interested in him.
"What are you guys doing here?" asked Naruto to break the silence after the introduction, "nothing much we are now just waiting on our parents to tell us to go eat dinner, its such a drag." answered the nara
Ino hit Shikamaru over the head "hes new to our group be more caring honestly you are so lazy" shouted Ino.
Naruto chuckled at that comment
But before Shikamaru could respond the parents came into the park and slowly but surely Naruto was about to be all alone again, but before Shikamaru was about to leave the park he shouted at Naruto "if you want we hang out at this park almost everyday feel free to stop by again" and then dissapeared out of sight.
Naruto smiled he had finally found some friends and was no longer alone.
Positivley chuffed he started walking towards Ichiraku to reward himself for both his achievments in training and finding some friends.
But little did he know that he was being followed ever since leaving the park.
