A/N: This is two story is now a oneshot book for The Good Wife.

This is another free styling story because every other story I'm working on is pissing me off and I need a fluffy and comfort one (two?) shot right about now.

This story will be a twoshot containing Willicia and McHart because I'm needing some comfort right now, I hope you enjoy this, Angels.

She's always loved Will Gardner: he was her first love, whether or not she knew it back at Georgetown, and he's her final love.

She just has to divorce her husband before she can be with Will in the public eye, even though Zach, Grace, Diane, Kurt, Kalinda and Cary already know that they're together, and haven't told a single soul.

It was Will's idea for her to finally divorce Peter after she had come home early from the office and seen him and another woman in her bed, fucking like rabbits. She had run out of the apartment and ran to Will's place in the pouring down rain, struggling to breathe.

Alicia exits the elevator, running to Will's front door, knocking on the door, her breath coming out in sobs and gasps.

The door opens to reveal Will.

"Jesus, Leesh!" He says as he guides her inside his apartment. The door closes behind her and she hugs him tightly, refusing to let him go as rainwater drips from her clothes onto his hard wooden floors and all over him.

"Alicia, what happened? Talk to me." Will pleads as he pulls away slightly as he brushes a soaking wet lock of hair out of her eyes, tears still falling from her eyes. She stares into his light brown eyes.

"I went home early, and P... Peter was having s... sex with another woman, in my bed. The same bed he told me to not give up on him." She tells him before dissolving into sobs again as Will holds her to him. He scoops her up bridal style and carries her to his couch.

"God, Leesh. I'm so sorry." Will whispers as he kisses her wet hair, Alicia just buries her head into his chest, her body shaking with the force of her sobs.

Finally her sobs and tears stop, her energy depleting rapidly. She doesn't know how long she sits in Will's lap, her head on his chest, but it's nice not to move and let someone else do the comforting for a while.

"Why don't you go get a shower and warm up?" Will suggests, breaking the silence between them. Alicia nods and gets off his lap and heads for his bathroom, stripping off her wet clothes and leaving them in a wet heap near the door before turning on the shower.

She turns off the shower and steps out, wrapping a towel around her body and towel dries her hair with another one. "Shit." She curses when she realises she hasn't got a change of clothes. She walks to the door and pokes her head around it. "Hey, Will, I don't have any clothes!" She calls loudly. She hears his chuckles as he walks towards her, a pile of clothes in his hands. "Here." Her boss says before walking away from her, leaving her alone to change.

She smiles when she sees that he's put in his old Georgetown tee for her to wear and the smallest pair of sweats he owns. She changes quickly and leaves the bathroom, finding her boss on the couch with two cups of coffee on the coffee table in front of him. He smiles when she sits down next to him, her hair a damp and tangled mess.

"I don't know how much longer I can keep standing beside him, Will, I really can't. Not when I love you, and not when he's having sex with another woman in the apartment where the kids are living and in my bed, no less!" She exclaims once the silence between them has gotten too much. Will sighs.

"Divorce him, Alicia." Is all he says as he's taking a sip of his coffee. Alicia looks at him, a look of disbelief on her face.

"I can't, Will. The kids need-" She's interrupted by Will.

"Zach and Grace want you to be happy, Alicia, they know what their father did. They'll understand why you need to divorce him. You've been at his side for the past 3 years, you deserve to be happy, Leesh." Will says, Alicia nods, agreeing with him before sighing.

"I'll contact a divorce lawyer soon, after I've spoken with him. Can I stay here tonight? The kids are at a friend's house tonight." She can't be alone with Peter otherwise she'll strangle him. Will puts down his coffee cup and wraps an arm around her, pulling her closer to him.

"Of course you can stay the night, Leesh." Will answers, pausing for a second before he looks at her, a smile on his face as their lips connect for the first time in months. The kiss lasts no longer than 20 seconds but it's the best 20 seconds of her day so far.

"What was that for?" She asks softly after they've broken away from each other. Will just cups her face in his hands.

"I love you too, Alicia." He says just as softly, kissing the top of her damp locks.

Telling Peter she wanted a divorce ended with Will, Cary and Kurt all carrying her out of the conference room after she started tearing into him, letting out all the things she'd bottled up over the last three and a half years.

She grabs Will's hand underneath the courtroom table when she notices Peter entering the room with a blonde woman on his arm. Cary and Kurt both stand behind her and Will protectively while Diane and Kalinda sit in the gallery behind them. "It'll be okay, Alicia." Cary says in her ear, putting a hand on her shoulder, which remains there throughout the hearing.

"Alright lets get this over with." Alicia says coldly, Peter nods his agreement, not responding verbally as he and the blonde woman sit at the other table.

After only a ten minute hearing with a judge in which Will hasn't let go of her hand once, her 18 year marriage to Peter is finalised and she's officially Alicia Cavanaugh once more, her left hand lays bare of her rings which are in a box at Will's place which she now calls home with Zach and Grace. Peter and his blonde leave the courtroom with a glare at Alicia who stands up, tears leaking from her eyes. Diane leads them out of the courtroom and out of the courthouse to their cars.

"You two can take the rest of the day, come back tomorrow afternoon, spend today with Zach and Grace." Diane tells her and Will who opens her car door for her. Alicia slips inside the car, slamming the door shut before even more tears can escape out of her eyes.

Will watches as the woman he loves tries to keep a lid on her emotions. Even though the divorce was his idea, he hated the entire thing: he hated seeing her crying after the negotiations. He hated hearing the arguments between Alicia and Peter. He hated the words that he, Cary, Kalinda and Diane heard Peter shouting at Alicia. He hated that Peter accused Alicia of destroying their family. He, Diane Cary and Kalinda snorted at that one, but most of all he hated that he couldn't be present during the meetings with her and her soon-to-be-ex-husband to support the woman he could see spending the rest of his life with.

He gives Diane, Kurt, Cary and Kalinda a nod of thanks as he gets into the car and starts the engine, putting a hand on her thigh and driving them home where Zach and Grace are waiting for them.

Will looks at Alicia with worry written all over his face once he's parked in the parking garage. Alicia's been silent the entire ride home, not even her music is blaring out of the speakers like it usually is. "Alicia, look at me," he says softly, moving his hand off her thigh to hold her hand like he did in court. Her fingers wrap around his own as their eyes lock. "we'll be okay." He tells her. Alicia nods before getting out of the car, breaking their hands.

He sighs when Alicia closes the door behind her and enters their apartment building. He wants nothing more than to kill Peter Florrick and bury him 6 feet under for hurting Alicia, but knows that doing that will get him sent to prison and visiting him in prison is the last thing Alicia needs to do. She's had enough of visiting men in prison.

A smile is brought on his lips when he enters the apartment, seeing Alicia cuddling Zach and Grace on their large couch.

Three months after she caught Peter having sex in her bed with another woman, Alicia and Will officially moved into together at his place, though they had already been living together on the weekends. Zach and Grace took a while to come around to the fact that their mother was living with another man while still married to their father.

"How'd it go, Will?" Zach asks, following Will into the kitchen. Will leans against the counter and looks at the teenager. Zach was the one who fully supported Alicia from the beginning when she told him and Grace of the divorce, and accepted that it needed to happen in order to make Alicia happy. Grace took longer to accept the divorce, going on a quest of sorts to find out if her mother really was happy with Will, before confronting her father and accepting the divorce and Will into their lives.

"It went as well as we were expecting, Zach." Will tells the boy. Zach just looks at him before surprising him with a hug.

"Thank you, Will. Thank you for supporting Mom, and making her happy, and thank you for being there for me and Grace too." Zach says to the man who has helped them so much in the three years since the scandals. Will blinks back the tears that are in his eyes and tightens his arms around the teenager.

"You're welcome, bud. I'll do everything in my power to make Alicia, and you and your sister happy. I hope you know that." Will tells Zach after he pulls away. Zach nods and leaves the kitchen.

Will stares at three most important people in his life with a smile on his face. He meant what he said to Zach: he'll do everything in his power to make Alicia and her kids happy.

Alicia kisses her son on his temple one final time and closes his bedroom door softly. She smiles to herself when she hears Will's soft voice floating outside to the hallway from Grace's room where Will is telling her daughter another story of their time at Georgetown.

This has been a nightly occurrence between her daughter and the man she loves in the three months she and the kids had moved in with Will, in an effort to make Grace more comfortable around Will.

"Goodnight, Grace. Sweet dreams." Alicia hears Will's voice whisper. Alicia turns on her heel and pads into the kitchen where she picks up her empty wine glass, pouring herself another glass of wine.

These last three months have been the best and the worst she's had in a long time.

She divorced Peter today and instead of feeling relieved, she feels guilty for not divorcing him sooner and letting him hurt him over and over again.

A hand plucks the wine glass from her hand and places it on the island as the free hand snakes around her waist and pulls her into his chest, resting his chin on her shoulder, his warm breath filling her ear. "Stop it," he says in a whisper. "stop feeling guilty, you did what you did when you did, so stop feeling guilty." He tells her, kissing her underneath her ear that makes her bite down a moan.

"He hurt me over and over again, and I let him." She replies as she twists in his arms so she's facing him. Will sighs and kisses her softly on the mouth.

"Alicia, let it go. You're done with him, he can't hurt you again, I won't let him. None of us will ever let him hurt you again." Will reassures her as she clings to him.

"I love you." Her voice is muffled by his shirt but she knows that he knows what she's just said.

"I love you too." Will leads her to the living room and sits on the couch, she curls into his side.

They're both quiet for a few minutes until Alicia leans her head on his chest. "I heard what you told Zach when we got home." She says quietly. She and Grace both shared a smile when they heard Will promising that he'd do anything in his power to make the three of them happy. She feels Will looking at her with a smile of his own. "I meant it, Leesh. I'll do everything I can to make you and those two happy." The love of her life says quietly. Alicia lifts her head from his chest and meets his eyes.

"Thank you, Will. Thank you for everything you've done for me." Alicia says before cupping a cheek and pressing her lips to his, bringing their lips together in a soft kiss.

"You don't have to keep thanking me. Alicia but you're welcome." Will tells her.

"What can I do to pay you back?" She asks, she doesn't know why she's asking this, but if she can pay him back for something, for holding out hope that she would finally choose him.

TGWTGWTGWTGW

Will looks into the eyes of the woman he loves and sees something that has been in them for the last three months. And he doesn't want to see it disappear, not for a second.

"Say you'll always choose me. Say you'll believe me when I say I'll never let anyone hurt you. Say that I'm the one you want for the rest of our lives, no matter how much time we have together, say that you'll look at me the way you've been looking at me for the last three months." He requests in a quiet voice.

Alicia nods her head.

"Yes, Will. Yes to all of it." Alicia tells him before kissing him deeply. She pulls back far too soon and simply looks at him.

"You, William Gardner, have been my first love, and you are my final love." Tears spill from her eyes as she leans her forehead against his.

"My first and final love, Will. First and final love." She repeats to him as they fall asleep on the couch a few minutes later.

"First and final love, Alicia. First and final love."

Alicia Cavanaugh and Will Gardner would forever be each other's first and final loves.
