Hello everyone! I happily introduced my version of Sing 2! Some things I want to point out before we continue.
First off, This story is based on a RP I did on Amino.
Second, There's going to be two new characters, Jack Savage and Kimberly Bardot and again, I do not own any of those characters. Jack Savage is originally from Zootopia but was later deleted so I decided to use him for this story. Kimberly Bardot is owned by wutislifefam, the person I was RPing. Kimberly's a singer and is in love with Buster. Her singing and career is based on Ariana Grande's career and Jack Savage is a rapper and his career is based on NF and Dax's career. Enjoy!
Eyes darted around at the vast and luxurious scenery surrounding them all. They couldn't believe they were in Redshore City, going to perform their show! Johnny and Ash were almost going ballistic with how excited they were with all, not to mention that the biggest surprise so far was that Kimberly Bardot was going to work with their show!
"You know, I was hesitant coming here, but I can't even imagine what would have happened if I didn't get on that bus." Johnny spoke, his eyes wide and gleaming.
"Yeah!" Was all Ash could respond with, she starstruck herself at the entire situation.
Ash was still glancing around at the new scenery, and that's when she noticed a certain rabbit with black stripes around him. She knew him. She had seen him online on music forums, where upcoming artists gathered and shared their content as they tried to get themselves out there. "Oh my god…" She whispered to herself. That was the moment she knew that their time in Redshore was one that none of them would ever forget.
Eventually, a hotel worker showed the gang to their rooms, yet they all piled into Buster's room, they started to discuss the play and listen to Gunter's ideas.
Meanwhile down at the lobby, a rabbit with black stripes named Jack Savage looked impatient and pressed the elevator for the second time and then saw a sign that said "Out of Order." Jack sighs and starts heading towards the stairs. His room was across from the gang's room and when he arrived, he inserted his key into the keyhole but he was having trouble getting to unlock the door. Jack sighs and then sees the door across from him so he decides to go to the door and knock on it.
Ash glanced at Buster, who didn't even hear the knock on the door from account of being so tied up with Gunter and his ramblings. Ash felt jittery, as this could be anyone on the other side of the door. She and Johnny slowly approached the door, the gorilla opening it to see Jack. Ash's eyes went wide. "Oh, may we help you?" Johnny asked.
Jack was about to speak but the second he saw Johnny and Ash, he started to get nervous to speak. "Oh umm don't you guys work for Buster Moon?" he asked nervously while smiling.
Johnny nodded at Jack's question, his long fingers curled around the edge of the door. "Yeah, are you here to see him?" He asked.
"Well not at first but now you mentioned it, I do want to at least see him, perhaps a picture or a signature or something because I'm pretty sure all of y'all are busy." Jack said nervously as he didn't want to bother them too much.
Johnny stared at Jack, his expression morphing from kind to pure amusement. He had to stifle a giggle, and Ash was feeling the same way. Johnny opened the door a bit wider, hanging onto it as he leaned back towards the inside of the room. "Oye, Moon! You have a fan here that wants your autograph!"
"Johnny, I've already told you I don't know when or where but- WAIT A MINUTE! A FAN? AN AUTOGRAPH?" Buster is now full of excitement as he moves his computer away and starts putting his suit jacket on and heading to the door. Buster has never experienced a fan wanting his autograph but now he has. He went to the door and then saw Jack and smiled widely and waves. "Hello, you must be a fan." Buster said proudly.
"I am! Hello, my name is Jack. I've been a fan of yours since the beginning!" Jack said excitedly.
"Wow! That's really amazing! Did you say you want me to sign something?" Buster asked.
"Oh yeah umm…" Jack said as he opened his bag and revealed a t-shirt of the reopening of Buster's theater.
"I got a t-shirt for the Grand Reopening of your theater!" He continued as he handled Buster the shirt.
"Wow! This is really amazing! I'll be right back. Just stay here." Buster said and then left.
Johnny and Ash stepped a bit, the both of them covering their faces with their hands as they continued to try and suppress their laughter. They both loved Buster to pieces, but they were prone to picking at him sometimes. He was just too cute.
"So umm anyways what I was trying to say earlier, I'm having trouble with my hotel room key and trying to get in. Can someone help me?" Jack said.
Ash nodded through her giggles. "Yeah, sure! My apartment lock gets stuck all the time. I'm sure I can get your key to work!" She said as she approached Jack, but wore a friendly, joyful smile on her face.
"Thank you! Here are my keys." Jack said as he handed her the keys.
Ash played with the keys as she followed Jack to the door, pressing against it to look closely at the keyhole. She slipped the key inside, she jiggled it for a bit before turning it, the door finally opened. "There you go." She smiled.
"Thank you so much!" Jack said as he shook Ash's hand.
Ash shook his hand back. "It's really no problem at all." She said.
"I'll see you around." Jack said as he walked in his apartment and then shut the door.
Ash went back to Buster's room and then she heard the elevator doors open. She glanced back, her jaw dropping when she saw Suki with Kimberly! Ash smiled brightly, covering her mouth as she ran inside the hotel room. "Guys! Kimberly is outside!" She tried to whisper.
Johnny stood so fast, he felt light headed. "No way!"
The rest of the gang except Buster went out and they indeed saw Suki and Kimberly. "Alright this is Kimberly Bardot as many of you are familiar with. Now if anything goes wrong, you guys have my number. I'm running late so I gotta get going! Wish I could stay but I can't. And Kimberly, you have my number if you need me. I gotta go see y'all later." Suki said quickly as she was heading out.
Kimberly smiled, she waved Suki goodbye before turning to the group in front of her. "Hello!" She spoke softly yet friendly.
Johnny smiled, practically skipping up to her. "It's so nice to meet you! I'm such a big fan!" he said as he shook her hand with enthusiasm.
Kimberly smiled as she also shook Johnny's hand, she giggled at his behavior, before glancing away at Buster walking to his group
Buster came out with Jack's shirt from earlier. "Alright sorry it took so long but I'm finally here so here's your shirt." Buster said as he was expecting Jack to still be out here but he wasn't to be found. "Where did he go?" He continues. He then turns and the first thing he sees is Kimberly Bardot. Buster's eyes widen of how beautiful she was and starts blushing and holding Jack's shirt tightly to his chest.
Kimberly knew that her expression was that of shock when she first saw him, her already big eyes widened at the sight of the handsome koala. This was her first time seeing him, but she already knew he was special.
Jack walks out of his room to get his shirt. "I almost forgot about my…shirt." Jack said slowly as he watched Buster and Kimberly connecting. "Umm you know what, I'll pick it up later." He then walks back to his apartment and shuts the door and then opens the door again and takes one last peak and then shuts the door again.
Johnny glanced back at Buster and stepped to the side as Buster slowly walked up to Kimberly and took a deep breath and then spoke "Umm you must be Kimberly. I have heard great things about you. I'm Buster Moon." He said as he slowly reached out his hand to Kimberly.
Kimberly was in starstruck. She's never felt this way in her life before. She slowly raised her hand, hers connecting with Buster's hand. Then it hit her. "Your name is really Moon?" She questioned.
"That's right! The one and only Buster Moon! But you can call me Buster." He said nervously with a smile. Buster starts to blush even more after hearing her voice.
Kimberly could only smile at knowing his last name was Moon. "You're perfect…" She said in the softest voice. She wasn't even sure if anyone else heard her words.
Everyone eventually went inside and it was all day, all night of talking about the show, everyone's roles and lines. Buster was on his computer, typing everything he needed to know including the scripts for "Out Of This World."
Kimberly had sat herself next to Buster on the couch, and hadn't moved in all hours she'd been there. Gunter had already assigned them their parts. Johnny was for the planet of war, Meena was to be representing the planet of beauty and Kimberly was to be representing the planet of love.
Later that evening, everyone was sleeping except for Buster. He was still on his computer, putting on final touches.
By this point, she had slightly drifted off along with the others, she had fallen asleep leaning on Buster's shoulder.
Buster starts blushing again after feeling her leaning on his shoulder but then he continues working. After another hour, Buster starts feeling sleepy and slowly drifts off asleep as his laptop falls off of his lap.
