Since she was a child, Bella's life has been governed by Time's three rules. As a time traveler, she gets to see and do extraordinary things, but it all comes with a price. Shortly after arriving in Victorian London, a fateful accident brings Bella into the glittering world of nobility, and she must quickly decide if this fishbowl of a life is something she wants to fight to keep.

2. You never know where or when you will go, nor how long you have there.

3. Once you leave, you can never go back.

I am so excited to invite you into this new world of Trice. For starters, this book is meant to be book one of a trilogy. If you were around for my last trilogy, you know I don't believe in giving spoilers, and often I can't answer many questions because of spoilers. But I do host discussion posts on Facebook for readers to vent, dialogue, and hypothesize together.

Secondly, I'd like to thank the team that has made the posting of this story even possible: Mel, my incredible Beta; and Pamela and Jill my amazing prereaders. This story originated as a contest entry for the Eras contest, so thank you to that team for hosting and inspiring me to find a new bunny.

Thirdly, I am not a modern history historian. My expertise lies in medieval history, and I've done very little research in the modern period. While I always strive to do appropriate research and contextualization, ultimately this is a work of fiction, and some leniencies will be made. I always welcome constructive and productive contributions if this time period is an particular interest or passion of yours.
