OK, we are at a family dinner chapter. This will probably be the last of the more light-hard ones for a bit when we return to see what souls are up to after this chapter OK and then we'll have another jump soon. I can't wait and I know you can't wait either, OK then let us get through this last chapter. That's a lighthearted one. I'm not sure if this is gonna be all Scarlet or Luther chapter or Scott or Riley or Annalise or Zoe. I'm not sure. OK, then I have to think about it so I might keep this one on the back burner for a moment and I'll return soon.
but I'll tell you what goes on in this chapter. It's a big dinner party not only a dinner party but a big family dinner. Helena Julius, the three sisters, and the children Claire all sit down for a family dinner together. They get to know Annelise and Annelise gets to be part of the family more. It's also to welcome Annelise into the family, OK we'll see you then.
Luther
Scarlet and I lay in bed for a while longer. We took our nap. We just lay there, enjoying the quietness. The children were down further nap for now. They'll be awakened again or the outing to the park was a success. Every day will be like this. I promised her not every day, but most days will be good, even when we get married, they'll be things they'll be things that have to be done. I'll have to go destroy Volder. I wanted to wait till we were before we married to do this, but I think we should marry before I get my hands, filthy dirty, not innocent anyway, I ran my hands in her hair seeing how she would see me next year would be husband and wife. I'm just as excited as her. We've been friends since we were children. She's been taking care of me since then, and I took care of her.
too, we were locked in that palace. We were locked in here when it was evil the palace is pure and that's good enough for me. I love her, and I love our children, and I want them to live in a world of peace as much as possible, but it probably won't be like that for a long time, I love my son and I love my daughter, too said that I can help too by changing them. I'll make sure that he's chained and you can have a crack at him before you takeoff I just left him there still had nightmares about the trials and so does she so killing us nightmares being in the Palace separated for a while before she had worse nightmares than I mine were mostly losing Scarlet I don't have to worry about it. She's right here in bed with me.
but I got up and dressed. I left her sleeping for a moment and got up and got dressed and went to see what Claire was doing. I can leave Scarlet alone and leave the room without soul killing us a little small apartment just us. Claire turned around and hugged me, Luther. I heard her say, I'm Claire. Have a good nap. I didn't get much fun. She laughs afterward. Yes, we just wanted alone time I said as I looked at Claire, of course, you do. She said you two lovers you need to be alone as much as possible and you'll get married next year Mother your mother wants to talk about plans with Scarlet soon, I knew that she thought she was Julius. She wants a father and and Kane to walk her down the aisle and then I will receive her my beautiful bride. She deserves this more than anything you cooking Claire, yes but it's a pot you know it's a human thing people bring a dish surprise Scarlet wasn't the first one here cooking. I got showered and cleaned up. Oh, you did so you gonna help I'll make sandwiches but I'm betting mother's gonna bring some too egg sandwiches it'll be Helena. Is your family coming? It's just you and me, Scarlet, the twins, Elise or Annalise, Riley, and Zoe that is it Claire said.
oh, and Ash I left she almost forgot my new sibling that I never got to meet, but I'll get to know more no yes I love Ash already. I heard your mom wants to turn the extra bedroom into another nursery. Why so that the twins can spend the night with their grandma once in a while, I laugh that would be nice wouldn't it then we can have a break they thought that it would be nice for them to take care of the twins once in a while. Give us a break you and me and Scarlet you and me and Ash could get to know his nephew, it would be nice, wouldn't it? Yes, yes it would.
and it's good that you get two years off for your magic. I'm glad about that too. I solidify this whole pace after all and I need a break. I'm glad I'm not going into battle until two years. I know you'll get up. We all will be so you don't have to be just you Luther said looking at me is not the ultimate war I said that will be when we get a chance to fight Soul I'll let Scarlet fight in that one that would be nice unless she has more children, but I wouldn't deny her to take him. I mean he did torture for a long time, I will kill him, but I want her to have a chance to fight him. Have you taken a few checked on them the children yes and they're still napping probably wanna wake up and eat and wake up Scarlet so she can feed them at the age of 13 I didn't, but I don't think Scarlet expected to be a mother at the age of 17 we were hoping that we would wait a long time before we have children circumstances yes if it won for the prophecy I would've killed that child chains or not I would've killed him I know you would've. I just had to kill him before he killed me or my son had to kill him before he killed me. That's not gonna be easy Luther no it won't be clear but I'll try my best.
Scarlet
I woke up and found Luther missing. I was worried for a minute then I heard the babies crying. I got up and quickly took a shower first Claire ran to check on them and fed them for me with a bottle that's fine. They probably need to change more than they need to eat right now, I clean myself off. I was hoping Luther and I would take a bath together today. I found a cute outfit to wear fine. We're having a family dinner later. Claire is there because she's part of the family. I mean she is my nanny for my children she does visit her family from time to time to have meals, but she's having one with us this time, I wish they were coming through they would come and visit with us, but they're not coming other families in our group. I think Dr. Crawford and Dr. Fuller are also coming because they work with our family and part of our family is away and they're lonely, old men, I guess, they're gonna join us for dinner too, which will be nice also, my father is coming. I'm happy to see my father come I haven't seen him in a while. It's been a few days and he didn't get to have a meal here at the palace with us, which will be nice.
you'll get to see the place that my love has inherited which would be nice too. It's not just a party to welcome Annalise, but I'm nice together to talk about the wedding next year. I'm so happy next year before the war. I'll be married before then and that will be nice too, the love of my life is gonna marry me next year clean and I stripped our sheets and put fresh ones on will probably just get them dirty again but still doesn't matter put onto the side so Claire can like to feed the babies so I went to go do that now Leanna and Liam looked up at me. I couldn't see them, but I could sense them. I picked up one and then the other and put them up on me so they could feed for a bit I had a special device that could hold them so that I could feed them without having to hold them the whole time they were hungry and that was good. I didn't love one more than the other. I love them both just as equally my two lovely babies had their swing clothes and also washed them which was good. I had other things to do. I have them washed so that there won't be so they could be extra clothing. We can't leave Ravenswood for a while so we had to make sure and make do what we have course Porsche would always bring us things and Ezra to Eran didn't come back, but Porsche did even though she would want us to buy the union. She would bring us stuff for free because we couldn't leave to buy anything that we paid her and she is like you don't need to pay us.
I know master Porsche I would say, but it doesn't feel right for us and we've only been doing this for a few days or so. I thought that when I was feeding my two lovely babies right they were getting their feast and then we would eat they were still not old enough to eat real food yet they were still somewhat newborns, there were a few days now which was good. They were getting healthy, which is good too. They were fussy, but that's expected. I don't mind fussy my beautiful babies. One will grow out to be a great protector warrior and the other will be a beautiful woman like me. They're both will be beautiful just like me and their daddy. I love them. He loves them and they'll have all the love they can get, and they have a childhood that we never have at least for a while.
if it wasn't for the quarantine zones, Luther and I would miss Mom and Dad I called Mom Helena Father Julius came back here. We would've gotten to live with Mama Helena and Father Julius until we got old enough to marry then we had a house together and we were just our days here. Luther wouldn't mind it either, he doesn't like settling in a place like this but he's fine with it now he says it's fine because it's you and me and our big family and friends around us and he said I know you want to settle here if we didn't if it was different because your father is here done feeding them and then I changed them. I clean myself up from feeding them. I clean myself up and themselves up, clean up their spit up on their faces.
then I put them in the sling and carried them as well as I walked into the kitchen to see what everyone else was up to at least my husband-to-be and my best friend who was also our nanny, but she would've done this if I was if I wasn't asleep and she wasn't cooking are you gonna cook too? Claire asked me of course I said putting up a pan do you want me to take the sling? Luther said cause I'm done I made the sandwiches and I'm done now. He took the sling for me and held the babies for a moment while I decided to get things ready for my noodles, I don't know what Claire knows how to make but she's a good cook too. That is bringing those egg sandwiches. We have plenty and veggies, fish, and vegetables as well. We have plenty of food. The girls the girl's sisters aren't gonna bring any food because they can't cook yet that's fine with us they'll come just them and that is OK too.
I stood there and stirred my noodles. I was so happy to be cooking again. It's been at least a while. I mean I made my noodles before the picnic as well but fell on cooking like this for a meal. I haven't gotten to do it in a long time wouldn't let me for a while.
But now I can cook again. I stirred them and got them ready in the warmer after they were done. I made sure there were two batches. I always do, but I don't know who can eat spicy and who can't I know Luther doesn't eat them that way for sure, so I had to make a batch for him Was fine with spicy. Mother was fine with father was fine with it not super spicy, but I would make them spicy enough. Also, there were some good desserts. I had my butter buns. I wanted everyone to have some good too. Master Porsche brought us something rare some chocolate for us, a chocolate, a big chocolate pie for everyone.
I had that sort away in our refrigerator area that kept things cold for us. I didn't want the cake to spoil our pie. I should say that was for our dessert later there's plenty for everyone in our group. That was good.
I love chocolate. Luther did too even though he mostly likes barbecue chips he likes eating chocolate as well didn't get out till later, though the noodles were done and everyone was cooking mama I was bringing another batch of sandwiches and vegetables, and like I said my father was bringing fish and veggies. It's gonna be a full-on dinner.
Everyone's gonna be here except for the other families that are not coming. This wasn't a holiday. We will have another holiday like this though eventually when the Voran empires are destroyed and everyone in our group gets together for a big party then we let the others get cleaned off and get the blood off of them that happens, Luther says he will stay forever. He might put my brother through pain, maybe break his bones and then heal them and then break them again over and over again for hurting me if not, he'll run away which is fine..
if he runs before the destruction, then I'll be fine I guess they would hope that he wouldn't. He would hope that he could just kill him then I wanna turn my brother I want to turn to kill him. I wanna have a turn to hurt him so if he lives and runs away, I might have that chance that does happen. Watch out soul when I get my strength back up and I'm allowed to fight you. I'm gonna try and hurt you as badly as I can.
I said there after I was done cooking Luther took the spoon out of my hand. What is it, darling? You're done for now I smiled. Is it because people are starting to get here? I've already put it in the warmer now. I just put the spoon down. people will be here soon, he said he cried the children with him now let's see let us set the table. I'll do that. Claire says the two of you go sit in the living room and relax. We made the house look like a home. The palace now didn't look like a palace anymore we got rid of all of Janice's things and now it looks like a real home with a full dining room and kitchen, and all the apartments are now bedrooms.
so he went into the main living room area and sat down. He picked up my feet and rubbed them. I said I do this for you. He says I love you still have the children. I put them down in the little playpen nearby he says, and he takes the sling and puts it to the side now I can take care of you, Scarlet until everyone gets here I relax and smile. The first arrived were the sisters all three of them came first they didn't have any food with them obviously but they were Riley Annelise and Zoe. They were so cute so cute. I love them.
that was Mama Hella, Helena, and their father Julius. I should say Mom and Dad with Ash and their sandworm and Dad with Ash and their sandwiches.
And Dr. Fuller and Dr. Crawford also came and Dad to everyone was here now bring everything in but everything on the big dining room table.
Riley
we finally arrived at the big palace that used to be my home now it belong to my sister-in-law and brother now they live here. This is their home. It started to look like a Home more than a palace. Now the dining room table looked great with all the food and I will cook for the bring food over here for dinners like this that'll be nice, wouldn't it, I heard Claire say put everything on the big dining room table as Everyone was reading everyone Annalise and I and Zoe walked into the room. We had Claire at we came in so we too and then I had my brother and sister-in-law and their kids. It was so weird seeing them with children so young, but it had to happen it was explained that it was a prophecy of the reason why they had it just gives me more babies to love to have children so young well, I am fine with that I just gives me more babies to love and care for I love little children very much even though I'm a little girl myself. I love little children. I love Zoe and I love my sister Annelise. I love Laura. I love a lot of people, especially children.
I also love gardens and flowers so I'll help Scarlet build one. She wants one not just flowers but veggies too that would be nice. We have fresh veggies near us all the time. Other people were coming in, too, like Mr. Ignace as well. He was coming in with some fish and veggies too. I didn't have any cute people with him except himself obviously, he's a single father, a single man living all by himself. I asked if you wanna move to this side of the river no no said I'm fine living on the other side of the river right now, even though it would be nice that we have our community here. I heard mom say I know Helena I heard him say but I will not leave the house. I've been living in that house for a long time.
besides, it'll make a journey for the children when they come to see me and my grandchildren he says Scarlett Garden is there, but I'll be making a new one. I heard Miss Scarlet say my sister-in-law-to-be says he'll let me have a new one and Riley said she'll help me, and Zoe will help me plant a new garden can smile at the thought that his little girl was gonna be a new guard here know the pretty palace that I used to live in and they live in and the three of us get to have our own little house, which was nice too. I might build a little flower garden near the little house.
oh, then I heard Mom say welcome. I heard Scarlet say Malcolm Caine welcome father to our home. Your first time inside Kane's eyes went wild as wide as he looked at the palace around him, solidifying a full aura of the iridium he asked did you do all this Luther Luther said yes my brother said yes I did this solidified this whole place and it used a lot of my aura, solidified all the bricks and built it with the help with my father and then I was trapped in the place and I and now we get to have this place our own me, Scarlett Claire, and the children.

I don't have to worry about you Kane said looking at him he ruffled my hair too after he put his food down on the dining room table good to see you too Miss Riley I smiled at him. Ezra found me and then brought me here most of these dinners to celebrate me but also other things too quite right he says and it's nice to meet you, Miss Annelise. It's nice to meet you too, sir.
she said she shook his hand it all the babies again it's too young grandchildren and his young and Helena's new baby as well. Ash, too well it's good to see everyone he says are we gonna eat? Everyone laughs. The doctors were here too. It was great. The only reason they came is that they don't have any other family plans and I was glad they were here, Dr. Crawford said I wouldn't miss this. He says for my apprentice and maybe even Miss Annelise as well thank you, Annelise said looking at Dr. Crawford. I'm glad that Zoe and I are going to be working with Miss Riley and will have her little workshop or something.
but we also have to take some time off from work here and there, Dr. Crawford so we can go to school, of course, Dr. Crawford said, of course, the three of you need to go to school you worked hard for me Riley You can work after school and go to school and do both knowing that I could do both now I'll have a job after school, but then I go to school and all of that plus take care of Zoe when she gets home from school too.
I know you're a responsible young woman girl says, said Dr. Crawford I don't have to worry about you smiling at Riley thank you, sir. I heard I said to him smile too. I can take Zoe home and you can go to work and I'll take care of Zoe while you work, it'll be better that way I don't need to work in practice too, but I don't have natural healing magic like you do Riley and I can take care of Zoe and then you can go work and then come home that sounds like a plan besides mom and dad will be there too. That is true. I said to her all right then that'll work out even better.
I mean, Zoe is our new little sister Zoe giggles.

Zoe
there are a lot of people here lots of warm and how happy people more than there were at my old home family dinner like this would be Mommy and stepdaddy yelling at each other or yelling at me. This was a warm, cozy family dinner. There are my new sisters Annelise and Riley and my new little sibling, Ash, mama, and Dad the twins, and my older brother and his wife it was so much fun and bustling around everything and we were inside the big palace too. Why don't you help? I heard Riley say OK I said as I went to help why don't you help by taking care of the younger babies, I looked at the babies. There were three of them. There was my sibling and then there were the twins. Yay, I get to help.
why did the grown-ups set the table I was hoping I would get to help set the table since I was the youngest, but Riley and Annalise were doing that by Miss Scarlet the pretty lady I see in the window now who owns the castle now and brother put the dishes on the table and their food dishes on the table she told me if there would be a big surprise for everyone afterward like something really sweet and rare my eyes wide and knowing there's something super rare gonna be given to us tonight for dinner afterward we were done eating everything. Riley told me that I should eat everything on my plate and try everything. I said OK Riley I will try everything on my plate, Riley.
She's being a mommy, right i'm fine with her being a Mommy right now I am. I'm happy that she's gonna be kind of like Mommy and Annalise even though they're my sisters.
it's already I heard Riley say come Zoe we're coming to get the little ones Riley said she came and picked up Ash and Luther and Scarlet picked up their babies I followed Riley. They picked me up and helped me into the big chairs and everyone else sat down the babies were putting high chairs like things so they were not sitting on the floor, and then we started passing the food around. There's a lot of chatter going on around the table about how they are happy that Annelise has joined our family and that she's so sweet to everyone. Riley was sitting next to me and was sitting on the other side of me, Mommy and Daddy were sitting at the other end of the table, my sister-in-law to be set and Mommy said there and Daddy said at the other end and then there was everybody Claire there was a full table. The food was good too. I did eat everything. It was good. The fish was good. Mr. Agnes knows what to do with fish and veggies and egg sandwiches. The Griffin egg sandwiches were delicious veggies there were more veggies than I thought on my plate and then serving herself. It was so warm and gesturing the pretty palace was our home now too. I bet the palace in the Voran Empire I bet.
so after we welcomed Elise, other chatter and other conversations were going on, and I heard things about next year. I didn't quite understand much, but Riley and Annalise did.
Annelise
Zoe sat between me and Riley, and everyone was sitting in different places around the table and we were eating. Everyone's place was full of food now other topics were being mentioned after they were convenient to this family. I always felt welcome. My sister loves me and my new little sister loves me and my parents, we live alone but that's OK. I love living alone with my two sisters. It's fine. We get a whole house to ourselves and I don't have to live in a little tower anymore. Also, the topics that were after my recognition were a top topic they wanted to bring up the happier one first, but they wanted to end it with that.
so they started talking about the war in two years why would they want to talk about that so what's the tactic that will take to destroy Volder? I heard Mom ask Father I don't know. I heard father say I'm not sure he said, but we'll figure out something. Are you gonna go with them, Julius? I might go with Luther and the others yes don't get yourself killed. I won't. I promise that I'm capable somewhat and I never got to do any action even though I was the ambassador. I never really got any action because of Janice now that Janice is gone. I don't care about the others I could kill them if I'd like and I'd like to help my son with this fight this war is crazy, is it? I thought why would Julius want to do this? He's an old man now not quite mom terrified you're not gonna do this. Are you Julius? I am the only chance I will live. I know we live. This is not. This is just destroying Volder. We're gonna kill them. They're gonna die anyway we're gonna live, a few of us then how we gonna do that how we gonna win?
they have souls there later I think I don't know. I heard Father say Luther spoke up. I have an idea, but I'll probably have to do it hardly I'll use multiple spells. I heard him say Brother said that's what I'll do and some I'll help. I have illusion magic remember of course Claire Riley and Annalise will also help as well, we would love to help take down the old empire that treated us like trash. I heard Riley say yeah I said back they're not getting away with this and hurting little Zoe too. They might have a full army, but we have the termination and Luther has his full magic. I heard Riley say he has both his wind and earth and time magic. He will be able to defeat them quickly, I'm not gonna freeze them in place and Jen just destroy them. Luther said I don't need to I need blood I'll fall Luther said and then and then I'll drop the rule breaker. The palace is still under it, but I will not worry about moving the palace, I'll destroy that thing too and anyone inside you can torch the place if you like I should've been Scarlet. I heard Scarlet say no love Luther says you're not. I know I'll defend the homefront. She says I know you don't want me fighting, but I need to do something and protect these children here, all right, dear.
he said smiling at her do you think Jason Gwen will help? No, they stay here they're not fighters but I will take the stones with me. Luther said Nadia and Dylan would be great warriors for me. It'll be me Jason Quinn, father Riley, and Annalise. I think that'll probably be it, and if I can find any other, if I can get the masters to help, that would be nice too, but I don't know if they'll help if they can help me that'll be great too.
we have Porsche and Ezra helping because they are assisting us here and I think I can get frost and sing when Eve and the others. I think they'll be great master Singin master Delrose master Frost I think will be great people to help us and the rest of the masters council.
it's gonna be a nasty nasty nasty thing I heard Mother say and you all be filthy, but it'll be worth it. Julia said the sides we need to defend our family and friends and all of Valencia from souls Terney if we can bring him down a bit, it'll weaken his power for a bit and then we can rest and we can start a new life life life without mother thought. Well, I guess that'll be great. Peace will be great. Peace will be restored.
and the master's council will take control once again completely as Scarlet and I heard Luther say we'll take our seats on the master's Council. We become the master of three elements and she'll become the master of fire and if someone else his head and wants to take your place to her place he won't I'll make sure of that, and we will start her and the children when they get older will join the guild too put in that dangerous no mother I heard him say it won't be a guild will be good for the children and we good for them to learn magic. We want them to learn magic. I want my children to learn magic ash two.
we need to raise a new a new generation of masters and I hope that will be the case.
oh, and Riley will also sit on the council as a new master of healing. Everyone looked at Riley looked at me, looked at Riley, not me. Yes, Riley said I will become the new master of healing. I will sit on the council and be the new master of healing because there's not one Dr. Crawford and Dr. Fuller smiled at Riley to show me the best. Dr. Crawford said that's why she's my apprentice everyone cheers the new Masters to the new Masters in the future..
now, for lighter subjects, I heard Mother say she changed the subject does Scarlet and Luther's wedding next year everyone cheered even me Riley and Zoe Dr. Crawford Dr. Foger, and Claire Claire were here too.
Luther
they change the subject from the war to our wedding. My Scarlet denied wedding our wedding next year we were getting married. I can't believe it. Mother was talking about the plans now. OK, I heard her say I have her wearing my wedding dress. The one I wore when I got married to Julius, she's always wanted a white wedding and we're giving it to her. She wore an ugly red dress for her last wedding. We wanted to look beautiful. I said she's beautiful everyone, of course, dear mother said that we want her to look even more pretty. I'll have the dresses made for the bridesmaids somehow or I'll get Porsche to get some for them, Riley will be bridesmaids and so will Gwen and Nadia, and Claire will be made of honor. Oh yes, I would love to be Scarlett's maid of honor. I heard Claire say she was excited too. Her father and Julius will walk her down the aisle mother said I have to be the mother of the groom and the mother of the bride. Everyone laughsMommy, I am kind of an away I mean, I am kind of I guess you could say, Mom, of course, dear, and Kane and Julius will walk her down and hand her to you Luther I smiled knowing that Riley would be I know that Scarlett will be walked down and pasted my hand soon as I might have to get you another outfit you probably won't be able to wear your father suit because it'll be too big for you. That's why we wanted you to wait a few more years but getting you married as soon as possible I can wear it when we renew our vows I said, of course.
of course, she can son's mother said it doesn't matter. They look beautiful. Claire said, but how are you gonna get them outfit it'll fit I will Porsche will send us something. Don't worry don't worry I will help with the committee too said Claire the girls and I the two older sisters, Gwen and Nadia will work together. We put our heads together and work on things we have no but that's OK. I'm fine with that. I said I'm fine with it. I don't have a lot of friends. and your father could be your best man I heard Mother say I'd love to. Julia said yes that'll be fine even though I'll be walking my somewhat daughter but not daughter down the aisle. I would love to do that as well. Maybe I shouldn't walk down the aisle with her I heard Scarlet say why not Father Julius I already be down there with your love. I'll be the best man and I'll stand there waiting too. Your father will walk you down. I would love to my sweet. I can say, Scarlet, knowing that her father will be walking her down to me and my father will be standing with me is my best man, it'll balance it out there. Claire will walk with Claire and then there's Jace. He might walk down with Riley and Dylan. He might walk down with Annelise. Zoe will walk down by herself as the flower girl we don't have someone old enough to be the ring, bear mother says, that is true I heard Claire say but that's OK. We can work that out too. This is why we usually wait a few more years but trying to get it all planned a year is not gonna be easy work.

This will be the best way of celebrating that way and you could be alone. I smile is Scarlet alone for a week how wonderful and you'll take care of the twins and Dash can you do that Mom of course I can dear I heard Mother say of course Julius and I will be glad to take care of the twins. We haven't gotten a full time with them so we'll get to do that from time to time and also get to take care of them for a week when you all learn on your little adventure alone in the palace, you could explore the palace. We haven't done that much. No, we can do that. We can even finish putting up things that we didn't put up unless I get my lab before then settles it will make room for Riley Elise and Ash when they want to come to stay sounds good and you and Father as well if you wanna stay over once in a while is big enough. Our whole group could've lived in there, but I didn't want that out of the way. I left the kitchen. I mean the dining room for a moment as Claire took away the rest of the dishes. I told Claire to get out the dessert plates and put them on the table yes ma'am Claire put out the dishes. Well, I went to the refrigerator thing and got out the pie, I did that to the table 1st while the desert the dessert dishes were placed around the table everyone had a fork and a dessert plate. Everyone was surprised to see a chocolate pie. How did you get that pie? Helena asked me soon-to-be mother yes sweet one where did you get it? I heard Father say to me, oh well Porsche sent it to us so she sent us a pie. Do you know I like chocolate and it's rare so she let me have one and now I get to share it with all of you.
that is nice Luther said, taking my hand, Lottie I know you love chocolate I know that's why she let me have it and for you too, darling Julius cut it and gave each person a piece of pie well those who can have a fair piece of pie, Zoe got a smaller piece because she was the youngest and she didn't need a big piece of pie but the same size piece also, this pie is to celebrate Annelise too. Annelise was happy pie. Well, something I hardly get to have say Annelise is really good chocolate is rare so it was good to have pie and it was good to have something sweet too there was lots of pie and bread, other desserts Zoe, you only get the small piece of pie and a small piece of bread. Riley said to her Zoe was like why because you're little and you don't need a whole Lotta sweets we want you to be healthy baby. She said you get more because I'm bigger when you get bigger, you can have more food she says, she's right Zoe said you don't need to eat a whole Lotta sweets not at least Zoe giggles. everyone got fair food fair amount of food at this lovely dinner party once the pie and snow bread were eaten. It was time for people to go home. It was also getting nighttime so it was getting it wasn't quite a bedtime for the children, but it was the twins and we were getting fussy, I guess we better go on Helena said taking some of her leftovers home with her and I will have a lot of leftovers I will too. I better get going. I have a long way back across the river. It's time for Zoe's bedtime. Riley says luckily we have warmers in the house. We can have this for lunch tomorrow. Zoe Zoe's eyes lit up OK Zoe said Riley and Annelise walked back to the little house mother and father walked back to their house and my father went back to his house. People were leaving. Claire put away our leftovers as well. Do you want me to put the children down ma'am? I heard Zoe say I heard Claire say no I have you clean up Claire, Luther and I will put them down tonight. I said I don't wanna sing them. The lullaby, of course, dear you have to sing it to them every night. We went lullaby, lullaby that always kept me comfort their comfort now.

I started to sing count the muffins one by one I started to sing I sang the lullaby they closed their eyes and went to sleep and rock them in the little rocking chair in the room one at a time do you want to rock the other Luther said no dear I have it. You can get their cribs ready and then you can put them in the room and we go to bed I don't know if we'll get any sleep not in a bad way, but in a good way I think we'll just sleep. Don't worry we'll have plenty of nights of lovemaking and plenty of days too. Amending chapter here I'm putting a divider here too all right but I'm in this chapter right here and a good spot when they all go to sleep at the end of the big dinner. I thought a fun little family dinner story would be good before we get some dark stuff with Soul next chapter, like I said after that, we age up a year so I can't wait for you to see that in chapter 5 chapter 4 would be about the soul and then chapter 5 will be their age up and then will age up again in chapter 6 all right for a few chapters or at least a couple will be at age 15 for Luther age 19 for Scarlet next year next chapter. They'll still be the ages they are now but the age of next year Luther will be 14 and Scarlet will be 18 All right we'll see you then, see your chapter 4
