Call it A Hunch

What if King Magnifico was able to escape the mirror, but ended up in the Crash Bandicoot universe?

[i do not and never ever will own Crash Bandicoot or Wish]

CHAPTER 1: Frustration

'What have I done to deserve this? I mean, what specifically?'

King Magnifico, the former king of Rosas, now trapped in the mirror of the staff he'd created with forbidden magic, which was now hung up in the dungeon, stared out longingly at the dungeon outside the mirror he was in.

How he wished he could be out in his own kingdom, seeing how things were in it, like he used to do. He wished to feel the sunlight on his face. He wished to feel the wind in his grey hair.

Sadly, that was not gonna happen.

Because of his turn to forbidden magic, he'd ended up trapped in his own staff, dethroned by his own wife, Queen Amaya, and locked up in the dungeon.

Stuck in a one-sided mirror, where he'd never see his own reflection again.

And, of course, Amaya pointed out he did love mirrors.

Such cruel irony.

He sighed, sinking to the ground, and curled himself into a ball, pulling his knees to his chest.

Almost immediately, he felt despair and depression take hold of him. Tears began to well up in his eyes, and then trickled down his face.

He fought back a sob in his chest.

He had never felt more lonely in his whole life. After all, ever since he'd been put in the dungeon, no one had ever been to visit him; not even his own wife, Amaya, who was now ruling Rosas.

As the lonely ex-king sat there, a quiet sob escaping his throat, he thought a thought that hadn't crossed his mind since he'd been the ruler of Rosas.

'I wish Amaya was here. She always knew how to make me feel better.'

But of course, those days were long gone.

Thanks to him.

The days slowly passed in his prison.

To be honest, he didn't even know how much time had passed in his prison. He felt like he was trapped in a single moment of time, unable to eat, unable to sleep, unable to age.

'I may be stuck in the same age forever, yet I don't even look a day over 40.'

For all he knew, he could be stuck here for weeks, or even months by now!

Above it all; One thing was for sure and absolute positive:

His kingdom didn't need him anymore.

Since all of Rosas was now pursuing their own wishes the way they wanted, He felt like he had no purpose in life anymore.

He uncurled his body, then put his head in his hands and sighed a deep depressed sigh.

Nobody cared about him these days. Nobody had ever cared about him.

'I bet the whole kingdom is celebrating my defeat.'

He sighed.

Proceeding that action, his depressed expression soon changed into an expression of anger.

He rose to his feet, and stared at the outside world beyond his mirror prison.

This time, a look of anger and jealous rage filled his face.

'Those ungrateful jerks. I did everything for them. I made a home for them. I granted their wishes. I cared for all my citizens. And THIS is the thanks I get?!'

He turned away from the mirror, arms folded in disgust. "They don't even care for me." he grumbled. "The one who built their own kingdom!"

He couldn't stand it any longer.

'If that's the way they want it, fine. Rosas is better off without me, anyway.'

He knew one thing - Rosas was no place for him now.

He decided he would leave his world, and never return.

EVER.

Magnifico sat, cross-legged on the ground, shut his eyes, and began to chant an ancient spell.

An aura of pale green began to form around him on the ground.

When he opened his eyes, his eyes became a solid bright green, and glowed softly.

"O Spirits of the Universe, from time, and space, please heed my wish!" he chanted.

A storm of dark green magic, mixed with grey clouds, swirled around him in the prison. The noises echoed throughout the dungeon, but no one would hear, of course. It didn't matter to him, though.

Magnifico put his hands on his chest, and focused all his thoughts upon what he wanted.

"My wish is to be removed from this mirror, and this world, and put somewhere else! Far away from these jerks! Somewhere where I'm more appreciated!" Magnifico declared.

Almost immediately, a pulse of light burst through the mirror, and the storm and clouds faded. Magnifico stared, wondering what would happen.

Almost a second after that, a rip in the fabric of the universe opened, and it grabbed his cape, then lifted him up, almost similar to the dark magic when it grabbed him and pulled him right into his own staff.

"What!? What's going on-aaaaaarrrrrghhh!" was all he could yell, before the force sucked him straight through the rip, and the rip closed up, leaving the mirror prison completely empty.
