"Young Togata-!"

"You can't beat him on your own All Might! You know that!"

"But-"

"I don't care if the world knows! I don't care if Momo knows! He needs to die."

"You think you can kill me?" AFO walked towards Akira. "You're less educated than I thought." AFO used his quirk, a punch flying through the air and meeting Akira's fist, sending a huge shockwave around the area.

"Strength multiplier times 3, rubber limbs times 2, air cannon... BLOOD MANIPULATION!" Akira brought his free hand to his arm, using the quirk Momo saw him use a few weeks prior to grab a red scythe from his arm and slash it at AFO's arm, barely scratching it as his father moved back just in time.

Momo reached Midoriya as he stared up at the big screen. "Wha-? What's Akira doing back there?!"

"That monster..." Midoriya couldn't tear his eyes away from the screen. "That monster is his father..."

Momo felt like a knife just pierced through her heart. Akira, her friend Akira, her crush Akira... was a villain's son? She looked up at the screen, to see Akira helping All Might stand.

"Young Togata, you need to run."

"No! I'm done running! Five years I've run, that ends today!"

"So," Akira turned to face his father as he spoke. "Now is when you finally decide to fight, boy? It'll be fun killing-"

WHAM!

Akira had punched AFO in the stomach, sending him back a few feet.

"Enough monologuing old man!"

Momo watched in horror as she stared up at the screen displaying the event. "Please don't die... please Akira... please be okay..." Akira and All Might seemed to be at a stalemate with AFO. Going back and forth for moments on end, until... everything went black.

Akira slowly opened his eyes and sat up. Where was he? He looked around the room, rubbing his eyes. He could see... some chairs, a table, a window and... oh fuck, he was in the hospital!

What happened?! He was fighting AFO and all of a sudden- did they win? What's he thinking?! Of course they won, otherwise he wouldn't be in a hospital right now. He ripped the blanket off him and jumped out of the hospital bed.

Running out the room, his heart raced. He sprant down the hallway, around the corner and-

SLAM!

Akira ran into someone, making him fall down onto the floor. He rubbed his forehead as he stood up.

"Hey, watch where you're- oh... it's you..." Akira's tone changed completely when he saw who he bumped into... Momo.

"Yeah..." Momo replied, standing up. "It's me."

"Look I-" Akira tried to explain, glancing away, but he cut himself off once he felt Momo hugging him, and burying her face in his chest, tears forming in her eyes. Akira stiffened up slightly, before awkwardly wrapping his arms around her.

"This is... new."

"Really?" Momo looked up at him as she stopped hugging him. "I would've expected an emotionless robot like you to be used to hugs."

"Emotionless robot?" Akira tilted his head. "Is that what you think of me?"

"Oh shut up." Momo playfully slapped Akira on the shoulder, before stepping back and looking up at him, her eyes still wet with tears. "Why..."

"I couldn't tell you," Akira interrupted. "You know that."

"Yeah, I know..." Momo spoke breathlessly, wiping tears from her eyes. "But you could have... I could've lost you."

"And the people could have lost All Might! ...You have no idea what that monster is capable of, I... I do."

"But weren't you scared you could've-"

"Of course I was!" Akira snapped, causing Momo's eyes to widen in shock. "I was fighting the man who made my life torture for the first decade of my life! Someone who can destroy cities in mere minutes! You think I wasn't scared?!"

"A-Akira I-" Momo took a step back slightly, almost scared of Akira's sudden anger. "I just didn't want to lose you..."

Akira nodded solemnly before answering. "I had to fight Momo... I couldn't allow myself to let you get hurt."

Momo couldn't help but blush at Akira's words, feeling flustered by the fact that he would fight someone even All Might had trouble fighting just to save her. "So... so you-"

"I love you!"

Momo's breath caught at the back of her throat, as a blush invaded her face at Akira's sudden confession.

"I didn't want to tell you because I'm not used to feeling this and I didn't want to ruin our friendship but after what happened with All for One and everything the other day I..." Akira closed his eyes and took a deep breath, taking Momo's hands in his.

"With All for One out there... and so many other villains connected to him, like Shigiraki or Kurogiri, I realised that I could die fighting a villain at any moment. I know that that's a shitty way to make me realise that I had to just confess to you but... but I do, and if you don't feel the same way, I completely understand."

"Akira I..." Momo looked up at him, her blush slowly dwindling. Momo slowly leaned up, on her tiptoes, and placed her lips on Akira's. She kissed him slowly, before pulling back and smiling up at him. "I love you too..."

Akira smiled warmly at Momo, causing her stomach to do somersaults, as this was only the second time she had ever seen him smile.

"So... are we dating now? Or..."

"Yeah," Momo smiled up at him. "But on one condition, you owe me an explanation, I don't care how much, but there are a few things I have to know."

Akira hesitated, before nodding. "Let's go to the roof."

"So," Momo asked, as she leant against the railing on the edge of the building. "What exactly..."

"Happened?" Akira looked at Momo as he too leaned against the railing, the cool air hitting his face like an assault on his warmth. "It's a long story."

"I have a long time to listen."

"That's a... fair point." Akira chuckled softly, before looking out at the city. "As you know that... monster is my..."

"Dad," Momo finished, noticing Akira's hesitation.

"Yeah, that." Akira nodded, pausing for a moment no before continuing. "Naturally, he tried to make me follow in his footsteps and... I did. He started training me ever since I was five, teaching me how to fight, teaching me how to use my- how to use his quirk."

"So... were you-"

"Quirkless? Yeah, and good ol' dad didn't like that. I don't know if you saw yesterday, but he was talking about taking Best Jeanists quirk, and how he took Ragdolls. He's able to take away people's quirks, and he can give them too. My power, it's not originally mine. After years of training I managed to make my Blood Manipulation quirk my signature, but it was never really... mine."

"What else happened?"

"After three years of training, when I turned 8, he sent me out for my first 'mission'. I was basically just his personal assassin, not his kid. Mission after mission, I barely got any breaks. I had to..."

Momo placed her hand on Akira's shoulder, in an attempt to comfort him, only for Akira to look up at her with tears gathering in his eyes.

"I'm a murderer Momo... people are dead because of me. Innocent people at that. All because I'm that bastard's son." Akira looked out at the city once more. "If I failed even once to kill a target, I'd get punished, tortured, because I failed to murder someone who actually knows how to fight back."

"So, your eye," Momo started. "Was that..."

"No, that was something else entirely."

"What was that then?"

"...it was All Might."

These words were like a dagger to Momo. Her new boyfriend, the one who's dad is probably the most terrifying villain in history, lost his eye because of the greatest hero?! What the hell is happening???

"It's a... long story, it'd be best not to talk about it unless All Might talks to our class about it."

"What made you leave?"

"Once again, All Might. I nearly lost an eye, I went into hiding, I ran away. It was five years ago now. I didn't fight anyone for most of those five years, but then I tried to join UA, become a hero, do good, save people instead of killing them, and I can barely even do that right."

"You're a great hero Akira, you saved me and who knows how many others yesterday."

"But I still blacked out, didn't I?!" Akira snapped, causing Momo to step back slightly in shock. Akira closed his eyes and took a deep breath, before opening his eyes again. "I'm sorry Momo I... back in the training camp, I couldn't fight, no matter how hard I wanted to, even back at the final exams, I never used my quirk. That was my first time properly fighting anyone in half a decade. If I can't even stay awake for the entire fight, how can I become a hero?"

"Akira I... you can be a great hero, you are one already. It takes time to learn how to fight but-"

"Have you ever noticed how I never talk to Todoroki?" Akira spoke quickly, cutting Momo off quickly.

"N-no, I don't think I have, but what does that have to do about anything?"

"Everything Momo, it has everything to do with it."

"I... don't think I understand."

"Before my encounter with All Might, I had one fight that almost got me caught, Endeavor."

"Endeavor? But that's-"

"Todoroki's dad, I know. He almost killed me and in return... I almost killed him. I avoid Todoroki because of that, I can't face him. Believe me, I've tried. If I can't face the son of someone I've nearly killed, how can I face someone that I did?"

"I suppose that makes sense."

"You suppose?" Akira spoke sarcastically, before looking at Momo. "Sorry... I'm still learning how to... emote."

"Use your emotions?"

Akira looked out at the city again with a chuckle. "Yeah, that." He paused for a moment. "It's not just Endeavour though. All Might, Hawks, Mirko all these top level heroes know who I am, at least to some extent. If I can't face Todoroki, how can I face top level heroes that I've injured? It doesn't make sense."

"Akira..." Momo walked closer to him, wrapping her arm around his back, and leaning her head on his shoulder. "If there's anyone who can do it, it's you."

Akira smiled gently, wrapping his arm around Momo's waist before turning his head to look at her, as she looked back, before slowly leaning up, her other hand finding his chest, and kissing him gently. Right as he kissed her back, their moment was interrupted by the door to the roof slamming open and Mina shouting: "I KNEW IT!"

Akira and Momo jumped back, completely taken by surprise by Mina's sudden appearance. Akira just chuckled awkwardly. "I... can explain."

"No..." Momo said. "You can't, what do you want Mina?"

"Well, I was trying to find you and someone said they saw you headed to the roof, so I decided to come and join you and I am thrilled with the results."

Akira sighed. "And you came to see us, why exactly?"

"Oh yeah, Akira, All Might wants to talk to you."

Akira and Momo share a knowing glance. "All Might? What does he want from me?"

Mina shrugged. "Who knows? He's in room 107, you probably shouldn't keep him waiting."

Akira glanced at Momo, who gave him a quick nod. Akira shoved his hands into his pockets and walked back into the building, as he walked away, he could swear he was Mina speaking excitedly: "Tell me EVERYTHING!"

Akira closed his eyes and sighed slightly as he started walking down all the flights of stairs to get to the first floor. On his way down, he passed Kirishima, Sato and Todoroki, all of whom he ignored. Soon afterwards, he reached room 107, and stopped. He took a deep breath, before swinging open the door to the room and freezing.

He saw All Might, in this "new and weak" form of his. Next to his hospital bed was Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi, the same detective that was after him when he was still an assassin, and one of few people that knew the truth about All Might before now. Sitting next to him was undeniably the current number 3 hero, Hawks, evident not only by the wings on his back, but the fact that he turned around the moment Akira opened the door, and now was staring directly at him.

Across on the other side of the room, leaning against the large window, was the current number 7 hero, Mirko, in her hero costume, biting down on a carrot, ironic. Akira had had some run-ins with Hawks and Mirko in the past, and now he was led right to them... fun.

Akira quickly turned around, in an attempt to run, but felt someone grab his wrist, stopping him, and causing Akira to turn back around.

"What do you want, Hawks? I was called here to see All Might, I'll talk to him, not a birdbrain like you."

"Yeesh, harsh," Hawks replied, awfully calm, before pulling Akira into the room and closing the hospital door, before standing in front of it denying Akira of any escape. "Here I thought you'd lost it kid, you've still got spunk."

"I never had 'spunk', I had wanted to not die, they're different."

"Young Togata," All Might sat up in his bed, wrapped in bandages, causing everyone in the room to turn their heads. "They're not here to take you in, Nezu knew of your history and still let you join UA, even if I wanted to turn you in, he wouldn't allow it."

"Sure old man," Akira walked towards All Might. "You get Mina to pull me here, only for the guy who spent all three of my villain years trying to find me, and the two heroes that I had the most run-ins with not only while I was a villain but afterwards too? Hawks became a hero the year I stopped being a villain, and Mirko was a hero for three years at that point. It doesn't matter if you're not turning me in, something's happening here and I'm not standing for it."

"Young Togata-"

"We just want to ask you a few questions," Mirko spoke up for the first time since Akira arrived. "Or more accurately, Mr. Tsukauchi wants to ask you a few questions, All Might wants... something, and he dragged me and Hawks here too for some reason, I didn't ask to be here, I have better things to do, so you better make it worthwhile."

"Worthwhile?" Akira started walking to Mirko. "Why don't I make use of you being in a hospital wing and shove that carrot so far down your throat it cuts of your breath-"

"Young Togata!" All Might shouted, almost making Akira jump in shock, and causing All Might to cough heavily. "Don't give Detective Tsukauchi something to actually handcuff you for, now calm down."

Akira sighed, and walked to All Might, sitting down on the other side of his hospital bed, rolling his eyes. "Fine, but I can refuse to answer any question if I don't want to answer it."

All Might looked over at Tsukauchi, who nodded. "Very well, Tsukauchi, you can start now."

"First off," Tsukauchi looked down at the clipboard on his lap. "I just need your name for the record."

Akira sighed. "Akira Togata."

"And your real name."

Akira paused for a moment. "...Akira Shigiraki."

"Does that mean that you're related to Tomura Shigiraki?"

"No, Shigiraki is All For One's last name, and since I'm his biological son, it's mine too. All For One found Tomura around the same time that I was born, but he was much harsher on me. I considered Tomura to be my older brother, even if it wasn't biological."

Tsukauchi jotted down what Akira said, as Mirko and Hawks stood, listening in silence.

"Did you ever know that All For One was connected to anything before now?"

"I thought about it, but I didn't want to believe it, I wanted him to be dead. I knew something dangerous was in the works ever since I joined UA, the name 'Shigiraki' being thrown around was like hell for me, but I couldn't convince myself that my dad wasn't dead."

Tsukauchi wrote down what Akira said again before looking back up at him.

"And finally, does anyone outside of this room know anything about your past."

"Yes, Momo Yaoyorozu knows, I'm pretty sure Izuku Midoriya knows that All For One's my dad but I'm not sure, and I'm planning on telling the rest of my class soon... they deserve..." Akira gulped and took a breath before speaking again. "They need to know the truth."

Tsukuachi wrote down what Akira said for the final time, before looking at All Might, who nodded, before facing Akira.

"Young Togata, even though we managed to capture All For One, I'm afraid it's not over yet. The League of Villains is still at large and-"

"You want my help? Yeah, I figured. Guarantee my safety from police officers and other pro heroes, and I'll work with you."

"What? You scared?"

Akira quickly looked at Mirko before speaking with a bitter voice. "I've nearly killed multiple pro heroes, and I have killed more. I'm already in danger as is, just going after the League of Villains is dangerous enough, I don't want pro heroes to be after me at the same time."

"It's a fair ask Mirko," Hawks spoke up. "He just wants to make sure he'll be safe, I'd do the same in his position, and you would too."

"Thank you," Akira said. "Never thought I'd be on Hawks' side so soon but here I am..."

Hawks walked over to Akira as he spoke. "Get used to it lil' bro," Hawks slapped Akira's back jokingly, causing him to cough slightly. "You'll find yourself agreeing with me a lot as we get to know each other."

Akira rolled his eyes slightly before muttering under his breath, "modest much?", before looking up at Hawks with a look that was almost a glare. "And I'm not your bro." Akira stood up from his chair and went to leave the hospital wing, and spoke as he did so. "If there's nothing else of use here, I'll be on my way."

"Akira," Detective Tsukuachi said, standing up, causing Akira to turn around. "If you'll allow me to call you Akira. Togata isn't your real family name, and I'm sure that you don't want to be connected to the name Shigiraki in any way but," Tsukuachi paused for a moment to gather his thoughts, before continuing. "Thank you, it may not seem like much now butâ your help will change a lot, so thank you."

Akira scoffed slightly, surprising everyone in the room apart from All Might, who probably expected a reaction like this. "Sure," Akira started as he turned back around as he walked out of the hospital wing. "Whatever."

"Given everything that has happened," Mr. Aizawa said to Class 1-A as they stood outside of the new Heights Alliance building, "I'm glad that we were able to bring Class A back together."

"So we all got the go ahead to move onto campus," Sero said to his classmates.

Hagakure let out a sigh. "It took a lot of convincing from my parents."

"I was pretty concerned about mine."

"It makes sense," Ojiro said in response to Jiro. "You got the worst of the gas attack."

"We're glad to see the teachers got to come back too," Asui stated. "I was afraid you wouldn't be allowed, the people at the press conference seemed pretty upset with you guys."

"I was surprised as well, but circumstances have changed." Aizawa paused for a moment before speaking again. "Now then, I shall explain to you how your dorm assignments will work shortly, first however," he clapped his hands in front of him. "We haven't forgotten about the Provisional Hero Licences you were supposed to get during the training camp."

"Oh yeah," Sato, who was standing closer to the back of the group, spoke up. "That's what we were there for."

"So much had happened, it had totally slipped my mind." Hagakure spoke again.

"This is important, so listen well." Aizawa said, getting the class's attention once again. "Kirishima, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Midoriya, Iida, and Togata. You six are the ones who broke the rules and went to rescue Bakugo that night." This comment elicited numerous gasps and murmurs from their classmates, making Aizawa sigh and tilt his head down before speaking again.

"Based on your reactions, I'm assuming the rest of you were at least aware of their plan. I'm going to set aside a number of issues and just say this, if it weren't for All Might's retirement from the hero scene," Aizawa looked back up at the class. "I would expel everyone here, except Bakugo, Jiro and Hagakure, and based on Nezu's input, maybe Togata too."

Mina leaned closer to Momo slightly. "Would Togata be let off because-" Momo put her arm in front of Mina slightly, and shook her head, signalling for her to be quiet.

"The six of you who went, of course," Aizawa continued. "But also the remaining twelve who didn't stop them. You betrayed our trust, even if it was to prevent your friends from getting into trouble. In order to regain our confidence, you'll have to obey every rule to the letter and be model students." Aizawa paused for a moment, before turning and starting to walk into the building. "That's all, enjoy your new home."

Nobody in the class moved for a moment, before Akira decided to speak up, stopping Aizawa in his tracks.

"Wait."

Aizawa, intrigued, turned back to face Akira. "What is it Togata?"

Akira shook his head before stepping forwards. "I don't want to be called that anymore." This phrase confused Class 1-A, except for Momo and Mina, to an extent. Momo tried to step forwards, being the only one who knew exactly what Akira was going to say, but this time, Mina was one who stopped her, and shook her own head, signalling for her to let Akira do what he wanted to, without interruptions.

"I..." Akira hesitated for a moment. "I need to tell the class something."

"Very well," Aizawaw just shrugged off the statement and began walking to the building again, as he already knew the topic of Akira's past, but he was stopped by Akira once again.

"Actually sir, I think you might want to stay here too... there's a few things that you don't know yet too."

Aizawa sighed, before ultimately deciding to walk back. "Very well, do what you must."

Akira nodded, and waited for Aizawa to be standing at the back of his classmates before starting, and everyone's attention was fully on him from the moment he finished his first sentence.

"In all truth... I haven't been very honest with any of you since I joined UA. Everything from being dismissive of Midoriya's question about my eye, to my real name, even down to the fact that for many of you, it wasn't my first time meeting you. My eye, yes, I nearly lost it because of an injury, and then back in the hospital the other day, I revealed to most of you during an argument with Kirishima that I almost lost it because of a fight. In all truth, I made it seem like I was fighting someone bad, or evil, but I wasn't, I was fighting a hero."

Akira had not even completely passed his beginning explanation, but he already had everyone's attention to the point that even though there was some reaction to what he had said, it was mostly overshadowed by the sheer shock of the confession. Akira took a moment to breathe before speaking again.

"I'm still learning how to use my emotions, and how to understand others, so I'm just going to rip the band-aid off first - which I was told would be a good expression for something like this." A few members of the class noticed how Akira had glanced at Momo as he said that. "I know that even though some of you should know this by nowâ only two of you do. My real identity, my real name, is Akira Shigiraki, I am an ex-villain, and All For One is my father."

The entire class, apart from Momo and Aizawa, froze in shock as Akira said this, a few took this stronger than others. While others, like Ururaka, Denki and Shoji, who didn't know Akira very well, could only flinch, gasp, or in Denki's case, shout a very loud, "WHAT?!", a few didn't even have a noticeable reaction. Sato, someone who considered Akira a new friend, as of the Final Exams last term, could do nothing but look around at his classmates, not knowing how to fully react. However, four students couldn't even do that much.

Iida and Todoroki, who had both been there when All For One first revealed himself, froze in shock, Iida going so far as to begin breathing heavier to the point that Todoroki had to put his hand on Iida's shoulder in an attempt to calm him down. Kirishima, who was Akira's best friend - other than Momo of course, but he thought that Akira and Momo obviously had something going on since day one, so he considered himself his best friend - froze too, in confusement, shock, and a reluctance to believe what Akira had just said.

Even though Midoriya, out of everyone Akira interacted with, was clearly a far stretch from being Akira's friend, he took the reveal the worst. Midoriya froze, his mind racing. He had just had a conversation with All Might a few days earlier about All For One, and how he'd have to fight him eventually, and that man is Akira's father?! Sure, he already knew this, but hearing it come out of Akira's mouth, it made it all come crashing down. No wonder he never spoke about his family. Midoriya went so far as to take a small step back, only to be stopped by Ururaka placing her hand on his shoulder, in a practically futile attempt to calm him down.

"I understand that a lot of you are probably very confused right now, and since I don't know how to continue explaining... it'll be best if you ask questions now, rather than later."

The class stood in silence for a few moments, before Aizawa spoke up from the back. "You said it wasn't your first time meeting plenty of your classmates when you first entered UA, would you care to elaborate on that?"

"Oh, right," Akira looked back at his classmates and paused for a moment. "Iida, Mina, Ururaka, Shoji, Midoriya and... Todoroki. Before I joined UA properly, I researched all twenty of what Class 1-A was at the time," this sudden confession caused another gasp, and flutter of murmurs throughout the class, "but you six... you six I already knew, in one way or another."

"If you don't mind me asking," Iida spoke up, a hand to his chest. "How did you know all of us? And why are you telling us all of this now of all times?"

"Well since you lot know I'm a Shigiraki now, I might as well tell you everything there is to tell you, as for how, it's... complicated."

"Well we have time," Mina spoke up. "You can't just drop a bombshell on us and expect us to just continue."

"Look, we have a lot of time, I know you want to know now but I'd rather answer smaller questions now and get to the bigger ones once we're inside and comfortable."

Mina rolled her eyes and scoffed. "Fine, continue."

"If there's no other questions that come to mind..." Akira paused for a moment in case anyone wanted to ask anything, before continuing. "There's just one more thing I want to say... I'm sorry for lying to you, I hope you understand, and I for those of you who aren't yet on a first name basis, I want to be addressed by my real family name, Shigiraki. I can't run from it anymore... so I might as well embrace it."

There were a few moments of silence before Kirishima walked out from the group towards Akira and slowly wrapped his arms around him, patting him on the back slightly. Akira, for the second time this week, froze as someone hugged him, not knowing how to react.

Sensing this, Kirishima let go of Akira and stepped back slightly, smiling awkwardly at him before speaking. "Come on man, it's fine, we understand."

Sero walked forwards and spoke in agreement. "Yeah man, we can't judge. Sure you mighta done some bad things, but you're a hero in my eyes. Plus, you helped All Might fight your dad the other day, that's badass!"

Akira chuckled awkwardly. "Yeah, I guess so..."

"All right class," Aizawa spoke quickly, before the situation got too out of hand for him to control. "We're going into the building in a few minutes, I suggest you settle down."

The class was about to start speaking again, but all attention went to Bakugo as he grabbed Denki and dragged him away to a nearby bush. Akira took this moment to slip away from the group and sit down on the bottom step of the stairs that led to the Heights Alliance Building.

A shock of electricity came from behind the bush that Denki was dragged behind, only for Denki to walk out a moment later in what could only be called his 'dumb mode', when he used too much of his quirk.

Akira chuckled to himself seeing this, before Momo walked over to him and sat down next to him.

"That wasn't too awkward, wasn't it?"

"No," Momo quickly responded. "It was fine, you did it your way."

"Yeah... I guess I did."

Momo sighed, resting her head on Akira's shoulder, almost surprising him, but not quite. Akira reciprocated the affection by slipping his arm around Momo's waist, placing his hand down on her hips, and rubbing it slightly.

Momo smiled as Akira's touch, as they sat together, watching the class laughing at Denki in his 'dumb mode', Momo and Akira letting out a few soft chuckles themselves as they watched the spectacle, enjoying the few minutes of silence and comfort they had to themselves before Aizawa brought everyone into the Heights Alliance Building, but until then, the just decided to enjoy themselves.

So that's Chapter Six, I worked on most of this all throughout the same few days, so I'll try and get the next chapter out in due time, but as always, no promises.
