[Hello, Speaker here. Firstly, thanks a ton for the support for my stories so far, but I'm not here to talk about that, sadly. You're probably wondering what's going on. 'What about VHIH2' Well, apologies to anyone I confused or disappointed by deleting it out of the blue, but I simply found myself struggling to come up with anything interesting or coherent to continue with the way the story had been going. My initial thoughts were to go back to the first part with a friend and maybe refer to it and see what I could find. But as I looked through the 30 chapters, I definitely felt a good amount of pride in my work, but I also couldn't help but think: 'Man... this is shit.'
I felt I definitely had an interesting idea going with crossing over Borderlands and Hazbin Hotel of all things, but the way the first part ultimately turned out in a way that made it difficult to try and follow it up in an interesting way, namely the Saints Row stuff. I'm gonna be honest. The only reason I even put the Saints Row stuff in Vault Hunters in Hell was because at the time I was on a Saints Row The Third kick and just tossed it in there because it'd be cool without really thinking about it.
Another thing I felt warranted a rewrite was a combination how the original story was written long before the actual Hazbin Hotel series was released and me generally feeling I did the Hazbin/Helluva aspects of the story dirty, like for instance just making Alastor a straight villain right out the gate, killing off Striker before he could really be Striker, Vox, Velvette, and Valentino being the only Overlords, and Charlie's overall goals and dreams with the Hotel generally losing focus in favor of purple gangstas and shoehorned pop-culture references.
So yeah, I'm remaking Vault Hunters in Hell, this time cutting all the Saints Row bullshit and rethinking the story. So have a seat and get ready for another collision of psychos, demon princesses, gods, monsters, man-made horrors beyond your comprehension, and shoehorned pop-culture references!]
