Chapter 1) the invasion

Among all creatures there is only one that is considered the most feared being in existence, for they come to all regardless if they were mortal or mystical.

Death, the last passage to the next life, the one thing that all beings worship, fear, or has accepted, and the master of death is none other than the grim reaper.

Throughout existence many creatures have been cautious to downright terrified of the reapers throughout time, and the current had married the most dangerous and evil human that he had the honor and dishonor to meet, causing the fear to rise to new heights. When he and his wife made a strong hold of their role as one of the new rulers in hell's society, they thought things couldn't get any worse? But when they heard that the wife had delivered a child for death, that was the last straw.

Castle Grim

Within a small room of a grim castle stood a tall woman with long blond hair that reached her mid back with a black hair band, wearing a pink bra and panties with red high heels under a black robe with white fur outlining that reached down past her ankles.

This woman is known as Mandy the bitch queen, a human that caused untold misery and mayhem, made the grim reaper her best friend forever and treated him as a servant before releasing him for reasons known only to her and grim. When they met for the last time grim did something that shocked even her, to have her hand in marriage.

For a moment she was hesitant, completely unsure whether to accept or decline. For a moment when grim was going to strike her down with his scythe at the last moment she said something that changed everything, "I Do".

From there things went from crazy to crazier. From their wedding, their honeymoon, their first reign in the underworld, to being one of the most powerful and feared individuals in hell.

But it was only a matter of time before grim wanted a child so after a few tries they succeeded. Within her arms was a small bundle wrapped in a blue blanket, looking down she saw the sleeping skeletal form of a newborn child.

This child is much like grim in some ways being a skeleton except his head was rounder than his fathers and he had a tuft of hair on his forehead. The name took some time to figure out but soon they just decided to call him grim jr.

To say the least she was never the one to care for children or even wanted one for herself, and she wouldn't admit it to anyone but when she first held her child in her arms she felt something, something she wasn't accustomed too.

It wasn't pride she knew that feeling all too well and it wasn't anger or fear she knew those feelings were like a second nature. No, the feeling she has in her chest when she's holding this child was completely foreign to her. She pondered on what this this feeling was for a moment only to come up with nothing so she decided to shelve it for later.

When the little one started to whimper and cry she held her baby close to her, humming softly to ease him to sleep. When the young boy calmed down Mandy slowly tucked him into his crib before walking out the room ready to call it a night.

When suddenly Mandy's and Grim's most loyal servant Lord Pain ,or as some people know him as Charles, came running down the hall with an anxious look on his face. He was wearing a set of medieval armor with a spiked helmet covering most of his head, along with a red and black cape flowing down his back.

"My lady, the castle is being attacked by a horde of demons and angels!" He said as he bowed to her.

"How are the defense's holding?" Mandy asked in an even tone.

"Most of the range weapons are proven insufficient but the traps seemed to be keeping them at bay for a moment." Charles reported when met with a silence he continued, "most of the guards are holding them back but the rest are waiting in reserves, and the master has released Cerberus to cause devastation to the enemy."

"Good, then things should be taken care of shortly." Mandy said as began to make her way to her room.

BOOOM

Suddenly an explosion rocked through the entire castle causing her to momentarily lose balance before Charles helped correct her.

"Summon the war beast and have my weapons ready in 5 minutes." Mandy said after regaining her balance knowing that the explosion was either grim showing off, the soldiers were using explosives to bring down the enemy, or the enemy was doing something smart or desperate.

"At once my lady."

"And have some guards standing by juniors room!" She called out to his retreating form.

Mandy started to make her way to her room before stopping in her tracks and turning towards the room Junior was in. She walked back towards the room and slowly looked inside to see her baby boy still asleep, feeling a sense of relief she closed the door and walked back to her room.

When she was gone four streams of smoke came out of the vents and under the door frame into Junior's room.
