That I was scared to talk about it, I was scared to scare you away when I told you that I love you that I'm in love with you!" I screamed louder than I wanted to, he just looked at me with those eyes and I couldn't say anything else. I had nothing more to say, the words wouldn't come out of my mouth. I could feel his eyes linger on me as I walked away, I didn't bother. I don't know why I walked away and he didn't come chasing after me, I was disappointed in him and in me for not telling him. When I walked into the house, Monica and my mother sat on the couch staring at me. "Violet?" My mother said in her motherly voice which means I did something wrong or something is going to happen. "What is it now?" I asked sitting on the island looking at both of them. My mother stood up along with Monica and leaned along the back of the couch. "Seriously just tell me because if this is an intervention I'm leaving." My mother shook her head she looked upset or angry I couldn't tell, Monica just look shocked and surprised. /p

For whatever reason my heart dropped, "What kind of call?" I asked scared to hear the answer. "A call from your principal, apprently you've been skipping class and spending time with Dallas at school." I rolled my eyes if my mother actually paid attention once in a while she would see that I've been skipping school for the last month to work on cheer rather than seeing Dallas. "Don't roll your eyes Violet this is serious." I jumped down from the counter and looked at her, "I'm not skipping school to be with Dallas I'm skipping with all the cheerleaders to get some extra practice in. I don't need a stupid study hall anyway. YOu wold know why I'm working so hard of you stopped by a game or a competion at least once in a while." She just stared at me with nothing to say, I looked at Monica. "Do you have something to say?"/p

"What am I going to do woth her? She gets more defiant everyday she thinks I'm being a bad mother." I heard my mother say followed by her voice breaking, I rolled my eyes and shut my door and climbed out the window and down the lattice. I walked to the barn Dallas was sitting down drinking a water. "Come back to yell at me?" He said when I entered, I leaned on the wall across from him and crossed my arms. "No I came out here to get away from my mother and aunt." He just nodded and continure to drink his water not even looking at me. "Is this how it's going to be? You ignoring me now because I can't tell you that I love you." He looked up at me and I swear it looked like he had been crying. "You tell me Violet you're the one with commintment issues, you're the one who can't say I love you to your boyfriend of two years." He was right I couldn't say it not because I didn't love him but because everytime I hear my parents say it one of them has to leave./p

He didn't say anything and he didn't look at me. "Then there's nothing more to say Violet, there's no point in this." He walked away, I stood in the barn holding back the tears, he doesn't get the satisfaction of watching me break down. I walked back inside and looked at my mother before grabbing the keys and getting into one of the Ranch Trucks. My mother and Monica followed me out as I started the truck, my mother's gaze turned to Dallas walking out of the barn. "Violet get out of the truck and inside now." I shook my head and sped off down the long driveway, when I looked in the mirror I could see my mother walking towards Dallas. I didn't turn back when I saw my mother yelling at him I just pulled out of the driveway and drove to the Hunter's Cabin to hide out./p

You obviously love him and he loves you just say it to him." I chuckled and looked at her like she was dumb, "You don't get it mom, you never do so just stop I want to be alone." She was the one who stood up this time and she looked at me with her deep green eyes. "Violet I'm tired of this attitude, I am your mother and you will do what I say. Get your ass back home you're grounded until you can learn to respect me and anyone else." I shook my head and looked away from her without saying a word. "That wasn't a question Violet now before I get your father involved." I stood up and walked to the truck, "No give me the keys, your phone and your car keys." I rolled my eyes and handed her them as I got in the front seat of her car. The drive home was quiet and long, neither of us had anything to say. /p
