Lincoln loud has made his fair share of mistakes but this one might've been the worst

after Lynn discovered she had a person who was critical of her he decided to point out everyone who criticized the others in an attempt to make Lynn feel better

and now he was surrounded and getting yelled at by his family parents included because of it

"Why did you have to tell us about our haters, dude?" Luna asked angrily

"Now we're all freezing up!" Lisa yelled

"I'm sorry I told you guys about your critics I was trying to help Lynn!" Lincoln said

then Lynn's fist burst through the door

"stincoln!" Lynn jr said

"maybe that's a happy stincoln." Lincoln said hopeful

he was wrong

"Your dumb "cure" didn't cure me! Scoots heckled me some more and now I've got emu legs again! Wasn't even at a game. It was at the mall food court!" Lynn jr said

"Lynn, why are you paying attention to Scoots? Why are any of you paying attention to those people? It doesn't matter what they say." Lincoln said

"It's easy for you to say! You don't have to deal with it!" Luan said through mr coconuts

"You just go around ruining lives!" Lola said

(ok hurtful but it's Lola so I should've expected this.) Lincoln thought to himself

as the other louds began to leave he heard his father say "What a life-ruiner!"

"ruiner!" His mother chimed in

(ok now that hurts a lot.) Lincoln thought to himself (maybe I should leave if my own parents are calling me a life ruiner maybe they will be better off without me.)

he went to his room and began to pack a bag when he noticed something under his bed

it was an odd looking hourglass with sand in it which he got as a souvenir at someplace he can't remember

"huh I guess this is pretty cool." Lincoln said to himself (maybe I should take this with me better than it getting sold.)

then he accidentally dropped the hourglass on the ground

"well I guess I'll ruin that too." Lincoln said

suddenly the sand began to flow around him and then everything thing went dark

meanwhile at the dawn of a new universe

liu kang had done it he had beaten Shang tsung and restarted history for the better

with geras as his guide he soon began to shape the sands of time

"now then what to do next?" Liu kang

"maybe make sure that shao khan can never happen." Geras suggested

"I will make him a general and loyal to the empress." Liu kang began

*THUD*

lui kang turned around ready to face an enemy

only to find a small orange shirt wearing boy with white hair unconscious

"Geras who is this boy?" Liu kang asked

"check the hourglass." Geras suggested

Liu kang did just that and found out about the boy

his name was Lincoln loud a boy who had a large family with ten sisters and apparently was a descendent of a magic user in a world where magic was extremely rare

"Geras I thought there was only one hourglass." Liu kang asked

"maybe kronika's tinkering with time had led to branches creating new worlds without the hourglass." Geras suggested

"and in those worlds magic is rare or put into something else." Liu kang said

"most likely." Geras said

then Lincoln began to wake up

"ugh that's the last time a touch something weird-WOAH!" Lincoln said before gaining a full grasp on his location "am I in space?! How am I breathing?!"

"the hourglass as an atmosphere." Geras said gaining the young louds attention

"who are you?!?" Lincoln asked

"I am Geras." Geras introduced himself

"and I am Liu kang god of fire and keeper of time." Liu kang introduced himself

"keeper of time? GOD!?" Lincoln said confused

"yes." Liu kang said "as for where we are we are at the dawn of time."

"wait what?!?" Lincoln asked

"yes I was making sure that history goes in a new direction the old keeper of time was obsessed with the balance of good and evil." Liu kang explained

"and you're making everything work out good." Lincoln said

"correct." Liu kang said before noticing a troubled look on Lincoln's face "Lincoln are you alright?"

"wait how do you know my name?" Lincoln asked

"I used this." Liu kang said referring to the hourglass "the hourglass regulates time and makes sure it goes smoothly I used it find out about you to make sure you weren't a threat."

"well then I guess that makes sense." Lincoln said "as for if i'm alright no I'm not alright I just got called a life ruiner by my sisters and even my parents."

"I see." Liu kang said

"I actually kinda want to stay here." Lincoln said catching the god off guard "I mean sure you'll out live me but it must get pretty lonely here."

then Liu kang got an idea

"Lincoln did you know that you're a descendant of a magic user?" Liu kang asked

"what does that have to do with anything?" Lincoln asked

"you see in the previous timeline there was all powerful gods known as the elder gods." Liu kang explained "if I want the timeline to stay on right path I need them to be lead."

"by me?" Lincoln asked

"not at the moment you need to learn magic and become the elder god of magic." Liu kang said

"we can use the hourglass to look at some of the most powerful magic in the previous timelines." Geras said "and you can learn all of it."

Lincoln thought about this for a minute before asking "how much time has passed back in my home?"

"none you are technically in the past so no time has passed for you and won't pass until our timeline matches up with yours." Liu kang said

"I'm in." Lincoln said

"very well your first lesson will start soon." Liu kang said

HAHAHAHA THIS IS GOING TO KILL ME

now I normally don't do requests but keeperofmagick was cooking with these two basic ideas (the other idea is the other fic I uploaded) so I couldn't resist so props to them for coming up with an idea that actually made me change my mind

also no more requests I am swarmed right now

now I'm surprised the taunting hour isn't used for any fics and I hope this gets the creativity flowing through some of y'all to do something with it

now at the end of each chapter I will do some intros with Lincoln and the new characters that appear for now I'll do Liu kang but I will do geras later

Liu kang

"so Lincoln have you been training?"

"yes I have...n't oh boy..."

"Johnny called you god daddy."

"of course he did."

"so wait... why did you keep Shang tsung in the new timeline?"

"everyone deserves a second chance in my new era."
