In a dark cave, crystals are everywhere by its formation on ceilings, walls, and ground. It is formed by a seeping of water through rocks, dissolving said minerals. Therefore, forms into minerals. Sometimes, there are other crystals that are buried underground which requires digging. Initially, this cave is very dark and seems to have no signs of life until a light was shore in the opening.

"Come on, Charlie. Keep up." A voice was heard. "I know Linus, I'm keeping up." Charlie panted. He was running until he caught up with Linus.

"We've been trekking for hours like going up a mountain and into this mine." moaned Charlie.

"I know Charlie. It's been all morning up to this afternoon that we been trudging about. Don't worry, we'll get back to the campsite after this." Replied Linus

Two boys were walking through a crystal mine in a mountain. Both had flashlights in their hands and had backpacks on their backs. They stumbled upon a crystal hallway which had crystals formed everywhere from ceilings, walls, and even on a ground. Crystals glowed from the flashlights. "Wow, look at that Charlie." Linus said in awe.

"Crystals are everywhere. It's beautiful." Charlie agreed. He then spotted some fragmented minerals and gems on the ground. "We could pick some of them up and keep them for collection."

"Good idea, Charlie Brown." Linus replied.

They picked up some minerals and gems from the ground. Charlie saw something glowing much brighter from the corner of his eyes. It was in a dark opening which he went to examine. What he saw was a different type of gemstone unlike any other. It was small, shaped like a peanut and was colored red, blue, and green. He thought it was shining from his flashlight but turns out it was glowing on its own. When Charlie picked it up with his hand, the gemstone stopped glowing. "Hmmm. It seems to have stop glowing."

"Charlie, you found something?" Linus called, walking over to him.

"Linus, I found this gemstone, but it is not like anything you have seen before." Charlie responded, showing a gemstone.

"Wow, that gemstone is really something else." Linus commented.

"This gemstone was glowing much brighter compared to the other gemstones. I thought it was glowing from my flashlight, but it was actually glowing on its own. When I picked it up, it stopped glowing." Charlie explained.

"Interesting. Maybe you can keep it since you found it." Linus suggested.

"Alright, I'll keep it then." Charlie agreed. He put a special gemstone inside his backpack, therefore, not losing it.

"It has been a long day, let's head back to the campsite before dark, Charlie." Linus advised.

"Okay, let's head back." Charlie replied. The two turned and headed back to find a way out.

At a campsite, situated in a forest on the outskirts of a mountain, where there is a tent and a campfire. The sun is setting, and a sky was getting darker. A bush is shaking, revealing to be Linus and Charlie coming back from their trek in the gem mine. Linus gave Charlie a band aid with a cringed expression, "You had a rough stumble from not seeing a tree root on a ground."

"Yeah, I should've watched where I was walking. Good grief." Charlie sighed, putting a band aid on his left leg.

"It's alright. Anyway, let's eat near a campfire, after that, we get some sleep." Linus replied then added. "We're passed through a first few days of Spring Break and we still have a rest of the days out here in Sparkle National Park left before we get back home to Sparkyville only to spend our weekends before school starts."

Charlie and Linus went over to the campfire and sat there, eating and chatting.

The rest of the days have passed and today, it was a last day of camping out at Sparkle National Park since they have a weekend left of Spring Break before returning to school. Charlie and Linus were eating and chatting near the campfire as usual. After that, they went inside the tent and fell asleep on their camping bed. Later, Charlie Brown was rolling back and forth in his camping bed, panting and grunting. In his head were scornful voices that was tormenting him.

"You gone for a spelling bee?!"

"I know of at least one zero I can tell you about!"

"Chuck, you can't do anything right!"

"Hey, manager, are you the boys' champeen?"

"Besides that, you're bound to be a complete failure!"

A voice is heard, "Charlie. Charlie." It gradually became louder. "Charlie Brown!"

Charlie woke up abruptly, panting. Linus was looking at him concerned. "Are you alright."

"I'm fine, thank you Linus. I must be having a nightmare." Charlie assumed.

"Yeah, you might be right. It's normal sometimes to have nightmares. Don't worry, I'm right here." Linus reassured.

Thank you, let's go back to sleep." Charlie replied.

Both Charlie and Linus went back to sleep. This time for now, Charlie didn't have nightmares.

The next morning, it was time for Charlie and Linus to head back home in Sparkyville. They started to pack up all the camping equipments and put it inside the trunk of a car. In the middle of packing everything up inside a car, Charlie Brown, coming towards a direction of a car, walked passed a tall figure who seems to be a man that wears a dark gray overcoat that extends down all the way to the ground, obscuring even his feet. He also wears a wide brim floppy fedora hat that is colored black, and black leather gloves. His face is also obscured by his hat.

The figure continued walking into forest until something caught his attention from the corner of his left eye. It was glowing and the source came from that spot which was besides the camping backpack and a tent. He was about to walk over there to examine what was glowing until Charlie beat him to it unintentionally, who was also walking there to pick up his camping backpack. He noticed that the special gemstone was on the ground. "Oops, the special gemstone. I need to remember to keep it safe, so I don't lose it."

He picked it up and an idea came to his head. "I'll put it in my pocket for now." Charlie tucked it in his side pocket of his shorts. Then, he continued to pack every camping equipment to the car trunk.

Finally, everything in a car trunk was full. Charlie and Linus went back to the camping spot to make sure they haven't left anything behind and went inside the car on a backseat. The car then took off for hometown.

Charlie took something out of his pocket, and it was a special gemstone that he found in the dark opening that glowed the brightest, having the same color of red, blue and green. The moment he picked it up, it stopped glowing. Occasionally, it will give off a glow briefly after keeping it despite not glowing anymore. "There is something about this gemstone that looked mystifying and beautiful. But I can't put my finger on it." Charlie thought. He then put it back in his pocket.
