Two days have passed since Charlie stood up to the three bullies. Sally told most of the kids about the event involving Charlie Brown standing up to the bullies and how he dodged all the punches and kicks the bullies sent at him. The kids were surprised hearing this from her, given most of the time, Charlie Brown would often been seen as weak or wishy-washy. Most of them were very impressed especially the Little Red-Haired Girl when she overheard Sally talking to most of the kids about it, while there are certain few such as Lucy and to some extent, Violet and Patty who still thinks Charlie is still always too pathetic and wishy-washy despite Charlie standing up to the bullies. Most of the kids, except for a certain one, were unaware that it was Charlie Brown's ability to see into the future, giving him the power to change any event, that played a pivotal role in how he chose to defend his little sister. Charlie was enjoying his moment of being in a good mood not because he defended his little sister, but because he took his first baby step of changing himself within.

It was a Thursday night when Charlie was lying down on his bed and fell fast asleep. It was a peaceful sleep at first, then he started to roll back and forth on his bed. He had another future dream which involved Charlie and his team having another baseball match with the other team. They were struggling in the baseball game as usual and eventually, they lost. Most of the kids turned to Charlie Brown and yelled at him for not contributing much.

Charlie's eyes opened abruptly and got up on his bed. He rubbed his temple and groaned.

"Good grief. Another one. I thought I was done with this future vision nonsense. It looks like I got another one and it has something to do with another baseball that my team and I will be having in less than few days."

Charlie laid down on his bed and stared at the ceiling. His baseball team has always been very lackluster when it comes to how to be an effective team for a grand scheme of playing baseball. His team were always very lousy in their skill of pitching, catching, and batting. For instance, Schroeder doesn't know how to throw and would often keep his mouth shut of his below-average pitching by saying something to Charlie when he comes to retrieve the ball from pitcher's mound. Pig-Pen does hit the ball but cannot run due to being blinded by a cloud of dirt, preventing him from getting to first base. The reasons go on and on. Whenever they lose, they would often place blame on Charlie Brown for the failures. When his team do win, it is because of the absence of Charlie Brown that gave his team some wins which really disheartens him. Then, he remembered that he stood up to the bullies not just to defend Sally, but also, he decided to change himself within. If he could change an event of bullies harassing Sally, it is possible he could change an event where his team lost the game as usual. But he doesn't know how. Charlie closed his eyes and went back to sleep.

The next day, school was about to be over. Charlie and Linus were on their way back to Miss Othmar's classroom after eating lunch in the main hallway. Both saw three bullies who had various injuries due to their attempts of assault Charlie only to accidentally inflicted punches and kicks on each other. The three bullies saw Charlie and Linus but decided to turn their backs which surprised the former. Linus made his comment.

"Well Charlie. Apparently, your dodging skills did a huge number on them. I am very impressed seeing how you survived their attacks."

"Yeah, I think I had a great amount of luck on my side Linus." Charlie claimed.

Moments later, they are in Miss Othmar's classroom. They were doing a show and tell which everyone demonstrated what they have bought in a classroom. Everyone has participated except Charlie Brown. When Franklin was heading back to his seat after showing his grandfather's watch, Miss Othmar called Charlie Brown to present something to the class. The latter got up and walked up in front of the whole class. Charlie took something out of his pocket and revealed it to be the special gemstone he found from the gem mines at Sparkle National Park a week ago. Everyone was intrigued, seeing a gemstone that was colored blue, green and red. Lucy scoffed.

"Really, a pebble? That's it? I don't see anything special about it. I bet that small rock is painted, meaning it could be fake. Typical blockhead Charlie Brown. I was expecting silver, gold, or something from Sparkle National Park that you and my dumb brother went last week, and you just got this worthless, small pebble."

Lucy folded her arms and closed her eyes in complete scorn at Charlie. Everyone else was becoming fascinated by that gemstone. Marcie gave a comment.

"What an interesting gemstone you have there, Charles."

"Yeah, I feel the same way when Charlie Brown showed it to me last week." Linus replied.

"You may be wishy-washy Charlie Brown, but that pebble you have here looked really pretty and cute to be honest." Violet remarked.

"I could wear that for my necklace to complement my naturally curly hair." Frieda stated.

"That's a cool looking stone you have there." Schroeder stated.

Then, a gemstone started to glow which surprised everyone. Then, they looked at a gemstone in awe and wonder except Lucy who still has her eyes shut, thinking Charlie brought in a worthless stone. Pig-Pen gave a comment.

"No way, that stone can glow like that!? I don't believe it."

"Amazing, you are really something else, Chuck." Peppermint Patty replied.

"It's even more beautiful when it glows like that." Patty remarked.

"That's awesome Charlie Brown. I wish I could find more of this." Shermy commented.

"You should always keep it safe, I bet that stone could worth a lot more." Franklin stated.

"I said the same thing when he found it during our Spring Break." Linus explained.

Out in the main hall near Miss Othmar's classroom, the Little Red-Haired Girl came out of the girl's restroom and was walking by when she saw something glowing from the corner of her left eye. She peeked through the door to Miss Othmar's classroom and saw Charlie holding a gemstone that was glowing. She looked at the gemstone in awe just like most of the classmates in Miss Othmar's class. Eudora was having a drink from a fountain nearby when she saw something glowing from Miss Othmar's classroom. She sees the Little Red-Haired Girl peeking into the doorway which made Eudora curious. She peered into the doorway and saw Charlie holding a glowing gemstone. She had the same reaction as most kids from Miss Othmar's classroom and the Little Red-Haired Girl.

Outside of the Sparkville Elementary School, a mysterious tall man was walking by when he saw a glow coming from the window. He peeked into the window and saw Charlie Brown holding a special gemstone. His eyes widened.

"That could be the one that was glowing from that kid's house the other night. That also could be the one that I saw last week at Sparkle National Park when I was coming over to see what it was when that kid picked it up. That kid has a gemstone which could mean that he may have gained an ability to see the future. Let's see if I can look inside his mind" He thought.

He held his hand up, closed his eyes and concentrated. He was able to see what was on his mind.

"So, you decided to stand up to your bullies not because to defend your sister, but also to change your outlook of life. Now, you wanted to know how you can improve your baseball team in a grand scheme of baseball game." He thought.

Back inside Miss Othmar's classroom, the gemstone stopped glowing. Everyone clapped for Charlie which he smiled. He looked around, seeing everyone clapping and noticed Eudora and the Little-Red Haired Girl at a doorway also clapping which Charlie blushed, seeing the latter. Then, he noticed someone at the window for a moment. Then, he realized something and turned to see a window with no one there. Charlie became confused.

"Huh, did I see someone there?"

Everyone noticed Charlie became puzzled at something. Patty asked.

"What is it, Charlie Brown. You saw someone there?"

"Oh great. First that worthless pebble. Now, you are claiming that someone was at a window. What has gotten into you Charlie Brown." Lucy grumbled.

"I saw someone at a window for a brief second and now that person is gone." Charlie explained.

He walked near the window to see if someone was out there. Most of the classmates including Eudora and the Little Red-Haired Girl, except for Lucy, joined in looking out the window to find someone who was near the window. No one was outside but only the main street, a few houses, and an incomplete house. Franklin replied.

"Nope, I do not see anyone out there."

"Me either, I don't see anyone walking or running from this spot at a window." Pig-Pen answered.

"But that person was right here. I saw it with my own eyes." Charlie claimed.

"I don't see anyone out there right now, Chuck." Peppermint Patty responded.

"I think you must've been looking at a gemstone for too long that you might be seeing things." Violet stated.

"I can kind of agree with Violet there, Charlie Brown." Frieda expressed.

"I hate to break it, but I still see nothing out there Charles." Eudora replied.

Charlie was still unconvinced. He had seen someone near the window, but he couldn't get a closer look at the appearance since the latter disappeared. Before he could respond, the school bell rang; the whole school was dismissed.

All the kids poured out of the main entrance. Charlie, Sally, and Linus were walking together on a sidewalk. Sally was delighted, seeing Linus walking with Charlie and Linus.

"Oh, my Sweet Babboo. Walking together with us." Sally cooed.

"I'M NOT YOUR SWEET BABBOO!" Linus yelled. This made Sally laugh.

"Ahh, Linus. You are always so cute when you do that."

Linus groaned at her remark. Charlie decided to tell Linus to lighten up his mood from Sally annoying him as usual.

"Hey Linus, the Little Red-Haired Girl saw me holding a gemstone and she seemed impressed."

"That's good Charlie Brown. It seems that she's interested of what you're doing." Linus expressed.

Charlie Brown was happy, hearing what Linus told him. Then, his mood changed. He was deep in his thoughts. He thought he saw someone at a window while he was doing a show and tell. Everyone dismissed him as he was seeing things, or they saw nothing. He looked around to see if that same person from earlier was there, but there was no sign of that person. Linus and Sally noticed his behavior. The latter spoke up.

"What's the matter, Big Brother? Are you alright?"

"I'm very okay, thank you for asking that." Charlie replied.

"Does this have anything to do with what you saw earlier before our school day ended?" Linus chimed in.

"Yes, I could've swore I saw someone near the window of Miss Othmar's classroom. Then, that person disappeared when I saw that spot a second time." Charlie claimed.

Linus put his hand on Charlie's shoulders.

"Hey Charlie, it's okay if you think you saw something out there. Whether it's true or not. How about this, take Snoopy out to the park just to clear your mind." Linus suggested.

"Okay, Linus. I'll take your word. It's been a long day at school, and I may need to relax my mind a bit." Charlie replied.

Charlie, Linus, and Sally continued walking homeward. Moments later, they got to the Van Pelt House. Linus separated himself from the brown siblings to the front door. He then waved at them.

"Remember Charlie, we have a baseball game match tomorrow. See you there."

"I will Linus. See you tomorrow too." Charlie replied.

The Brown siblings went on their way. From a distance, a mysterious tall man was watching the Brown siblings walking their way home. His eyes were focused specifically on Charlie Brown.

Later, Charlie Brown took Snoopy out for a walk to the park. They were enjoying some fresh breeze and Charlie was feeling more relaxed. They arrived at Sparkyville park and saw some random children. They were taking a stroll, relaxing on the grass, or playing various outdoor activities such as jump rope, catching ball, etc. Charlie and Snoopy saw a particular girl with naturally red curly hair in two buns with a familiar outfit and she has what appears to be a white poodle. That poodle wears a red bow and collar. Charlie recognized who that girl was and called out.

The girl turned around, revealing Melody. She smiled seeing Charlie Brown again.

"Charlie Brown, it's good to see you again."

Snoopy looked at Melody's poodle. She looked beautiful and nice. The hearts appeared in Snoopy's eyes. Melody's poodle noticed Snoopy as well and smiled at the latter taking interest in her. Charlie noticed this.

"Melody, you have a nice-looking dog you got there."

"Oh, thank you Charlie Brown. Her named is Genevieve and it is a poodle." Melody answered.

"My dog here is named Snoopy and he is a beagle." Charlie explained.

Snoopy walked up to Geneviene. The latter caresses Snoopy by her head which made Snoopy go lovestruck. Snoopy picked out a dandelion and gave it to Genevieve which made her flattered. Charlie and Melody both smiled at the scene when the latter chuckled.

"Snoopy looks really funny right there don't you think, Charlie?"

"Yeah, looks like he is having a good time." Charlie replied. Then, he asked Melody bitterly.

"So, how was the Bring the kids to Work Day when your so-called mayor brought you to Sparkyville Town Hall?"

"It was alright. My dad is a very busy man because he often has to take care of a paperwork. I don't blame you how you felt when he should've put all his effort into other projects like you mentioned about candy store and some other buildings." Melody explained respectfully.

"Yeah, I see your point, Melody." Charlie responded. Then he decided to change the topic. "Oh Melody, you should've seen the other day when I dodged all the punches and kick from the mean bullies when I defended Sally."

"Oh really. Is that so? I did hear from the other kids, that went to your same school, chatting about you avoiding every attack from bullies." Melody explained.

"I couldn't let Sally be tormented by those jerks physically and mentally. Who knows what could've happen if I didn't intervene." Charlie stated.

"Well, I'm very proud of you that you did the right thing by standing up to those bullies. You should be happy that you did it for your sister." Melody stated.

"I've already done that the other day Melody. I won't regret it." Charlie responded. He and Melody turned and watched Snoopy and Geneviene playing around with each other. They started to chase each other, and they went around Charlie Brown which made him dizzy in a matter of seconds and he fell down to the ground. Melody went to check on him.

"Charlie Brown, are you feeling alright."

"I'm okay Melody. Dogs are dogs sometimes. I sometimes say that I wished I wanted a normal dog." Charlie replied.

Melody looked up at the sky which gave her an idea.

"Charlie, you want to look up and see the cloud shapes?" Melody suggested.

"Alright, that's not a bad idea." Charlie replied.

Both Charlie and Melody laid on the ground on their backs. They see various cloud shapes such as car, tree, bird, and such. They also see more cloud shapes of ice cream, balloon and football. Charlie noticed an unusual cloud shape and it turns out to be in the form of a girl kicking a boy in a back which made him wince. Melody noticed this.

"Charlie, is there something wrong?"

"Melody, I noticed a weird-looking cloud shape there." Charlie responded.

Melody looked up and noticed a cloud shaped like a girl kicking a boy in a back. For some reason, she had a little smile and gave a chuckle which Charlie didn't hear. Melody then commented.

"Yeah, it does look a bit weird. Seeing a girl kicking a boy."

"I know Melody. It is a bit weird seeing that up in the sky." Charlie stated. He noticed that it was time to go and get up. "Melody, it's time for me and Snoopy to go home."

"Okay, Charlie. We had a good time here at Sparkyville Park." Melody replied.

Charlie walked up to where Snoopy and Geneviene are at. He bends down at Snoopy.

Alright Snoopy, it is time to go home."

Snoopy whines sadly because he was having too much fun playing with Geneviene and he doesn't want to leave. Charlie assured him.

"Snoopy, you can play with Geneviene for another time. The sun is going to set in a matter of hours."

Snoopy reluctantly agreed with what Charlie said to him and decides to walk with Charlie homeward. Melody waved goodbye to Charlie.

"Hope we can hang out for another time, Charlie."

"I will Melody, see you later." Charlie replied, waving back at Melody.

When their backs were turned, Melody bends over near Geneviene's ears and whispered something to her while her eyes looked at the backs of Charlie and Snoopy briefly.

The sun was beginning to set, and the sky was growing a bit dark. Charlie and Snoopy continued walking on their way home. It was very quiet at first, until they heard an unusual sound. It sounded like a machine running. Charlie and Snoopy looked around to find the source of that noise, but there was nothing but the sound of a machine running. They turned only to see a big garage next to a house. They can hear from inside a big garage. Charlie thought about, realizing that it could be may well be someone doing a big project for school or something. He shrugged and they continued walking on their way home.

When they got home, Charlie walked up to a calendar on a refrigerator and saw that another baseball game match is tomorrow. He sighed.

"Good grief. Another day of baseball game, especially from last night, given how the future visions revealed it to me."

Then, Charlie remembered about the future visions and how it helped changed the possible event regarding the bullies bullying Sally. Maybe, he could find a possible event where he and his team decided to improve and played much better in another baseball match, no matter if they win or lose. Charlie went upstairs to his bed and sat on it. He is still in a deep thought of how he and his team will improve tomorrow.
