Author: Hi Everyone I'm sorry that I haven't posted a story on cause I have Another place I publish stories and it's Wattpad, but I have future fanfic coming along the way like Sonic X Amphibia story and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles X RWBY. So check those out once they are released.

Now before we start the story of Honkai Impact and Genshin Impact I want to tell you why I came up with this Idea, a last year I got into Genshin Impact cause of the new region Fontaine, and right now I'm at Sumeru and Started to love this game. Then Later, Honkai Impact 3rd which was amazing after I saw an animated short called Lament of the Fallen. Originally I wanted to be a samurai from Inuzuma but instead laid onto a Teenager from another world like the traveler. I soon posted it on Wattpad in December of 2024 which was rushed. So I went back to fix some errors and scenes from the original draft, Thus I decided to make the crossover of Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact.

Anyway, enjoy the first chapter of Herrscher May Cry

I woke up to the sound of gunfire, shouting, and screaming from behind. My friend luz carried me away behind her shoulder, including the hallway lit up red then went dark repeating itself while a loud noise like an alarm was set. I look around to see people running up to where they are heading to the escape pods.

"Luz? What's going on? Where's Dad?" I asked.

"Don't worry, The professor is okay, he'll meet us soon in the room he mentioned." She replied but also sounded worried about him.

While the other people were running we arrived at a secret door where no one was allowed to Enter. Luz pulled out a card of my dad and swiped it down near a console opening automatically. When luz entered the room she put me down to a wall so she could head over to a blanket covering something, when she pulled it down it revealed to be a round machine with a console on the side.

She went over to the control panel struggling to figure out which one activates the portal.

"Come on, think." She presses a button in the middle and presses it down. With my own eyes the machine flickers as it generates a blue sphere emitting across the room, I look at Luz who is breathing and wielding a sword at her palm.

"Okay, I should hold them from here, at least I haven't lost my touch." She said

"Alone?" I asked.

"Yeah, though it's a bit scary I can do this."

"No, It's too dangerous, they'll kill you!"

"Relax, I'll be fine, your priority is to get into the portal."

"Hey, I'm not leaving you behind, You can't expect me to go while you-"

"It's because you can have a better life!' I was shocked by the tone, a better life? But I don't know if this is... with nothing my mind felt nothing but tears in my eyes.

Luz notices me and kneels towards me to cheer me up."Hey... It knows won't be the same as here but you'll have the freedom to do whatever your mind is into. But along the way, you'll have to face trial and error along the way which you'll have to learn and grow. Not only that, you'll make friends that will support you and call them family."

"But I can't do this alone."

"Don't be afraid, I know it's hard right now. But you are strong and brave, No matter what force drives you down. Always get back up,"

Suddenly the door opens, which causes her to turn around until the sound of a bullet shoots right through her chest. I saw her fall as I caught her preventing me from hitting the ground. I was shocked and heartbroken seeing her dead right in front of me.

"Luz, please don't leave me. Don't die! Luz!" I mourn for her while clenching her tightly, she slowly lifts her hands onto my face to wipe my tears."LUZ PLEASE DON'T LEAVE YOU CAN'T DIE, NOT NOW!"

"Don't cry Kyrie..." She told me, her breathing was getting weaker because the bullet had hit her right chest of the lungs." getting to know you was best for the past years, and I will never forget it. Just Always remember to be brave... and always remember to..."

Her voice came to a halt and her hand let go of my cheek, even her eyes were not moving. I tried to shake her like it's some game she was playing but this wasn't this real, happening right in front of me."Luz? Luz please please don't leave me.. please."

Rapidly, the group of individuals stormed into the room, pulling their rifles directly at me. Despite the overwhelming negative emotions engulfing me, I lowered her to the ground, then rose onto my feet, and fixed in silent, unwavering gaze upon them.

"Don't move!" The soldier in the middle commanded, "Move away from the body and turn yourself child.."

His voice was so innocent yet I didn't bother not to follow his protocol, noticing my suspicion one of the soldiers investigated my suspicion, taking one more step forward he raised his hand to touch me. But, in. Blink his hand was dismembered to their shock, the man screamed in agony as fell to the floor.

Trembling in fear, the soldier allows this to happen." Don't just stand there, TAKE HIM OUT!"

All of the men raised their weapons straight toward me, In motion grabbed the sword on the floor, and spun the incoming bullets lining them all up to shoot from four angles hitting only about three men with only missed.

The man took a glance around the room to see the dead corpses on the floor, before glaring his eyes at me with a serious face. I didn't do any of this but my body feels like it isn't In control. It only acts when someone is hurt or dead on the floor.

"Alright kid, you want to play... fine." He pulled out a knife from one of his waists and prepared himself to attack. I stood there but held a firm grip on the blade, he then lunged the weapon straight down but evaded, before swinging to the left and thrust through my head.

Letting go of the blade and waiting for his opponent to fall alongside Luz, I stood idly still much to his confusion, before I grabbed it, pulled out the knife and stabbed right through his hand, screaming in pain as he took two steps backward.

Growling in frustration he pulls out a gun at me hoping it will finish it off as it fires two bullets from both sides dodging them. And quickly was caught off by surprise, I thrust the sword through the chest with no ease.

Looking at me through eyes of fear as I watch the man slowly die breathing and begin to fade out from the world, I killed them, I killed every man in this room. but for what purpose did I do this? for luz? Or for something else... The noise became numb before hearing the loud noises behind me. I face my head to hear sounds that come from the panel.

The Machine began to malfunction, absorbing all of the energy and using it to burst, realizing a jump to grab Luz, covering her as the energy exploded engulfing me, Luz and the entire space station.

Let's jump ahead to the Present, and not from my world but a different universe. Through the grassy leaves, I Ran through bushes and trees along the way before stopping myself, then jumping into a bush before peaking through the middle. The outfit I was wearing was different from the white shirt and pajamas, it was a blue coat with a hood, gray jeans, and a sword on my back.

Spotting in the bushes was a campsite home to this world's creatures called hilichurl, who were fast asleep while the others kept watch. Leaving me for an opening to enter one of their Cabin, I make my move through the camp avoiding not being seen before making my way to the cabin.

Upon entering, looking around until noticing a treasure in the middle they had. I stepped slowly tiptoeing my way before I heard a growl on my left, I slowly my head which to my surprise a Mitachurl sleeping soundly on the floor almost flinching me. My heart was pounding so fast I had to take deep breaths to calm myself before continuing to walk towards the treasure slowly, then leaning my knees down closer to opening it, I gazed with awe when so much my mora imagined things I could do with this.

"This is honestly a piece of cake, just need to pull a few and get outta here." Grab a sack with me and grab a few mora but instead, I grab too much, guess I was a bit greedy. As I made my leave, the hilichurl surrounding the cabin, I nervously laughed before hearing a growl in front of me as I turned around slowly, Mitachurl slammed his ax on the ground quickly dodging the attack.

I stood up and quickly swung the bag of more at Hilichurl, knocked them back down, and also my Mora.

"Oh come on!" I was pissed off but I'll let it slide this time cause well I can find more loads or earn some. As I made my escape, I noticed the creature on the lookout tower shot an arrow at me from quickly maneuvering it. Then grabbing a rock thrown at him as he fell off the tower.

Away from the campsite, running so fast, hoping to get away from the mob chasing me.

Ducking into a tree and sitting down on the floor with my lungs heavily breathing, I heard growls from behind as I slowly turned to peak to see the creature searching for me, menacingly holding its weapons at its disposal.

I tiptoed slowly on my way out but accidentally broke a branch, spotting my presence, and began sprinting towards me. I tried to stop by throwing rocks and pulling a broken giant branch down so they followed but it wasn't enough, I kept running before bumping into something.

I raised my head slowly, my eyes meeting the towering figure of the Metachurl. The creature held a formidable ax in its rough, calloused hands. As I looked around, I realized I was surrounded by the hilichurl, their grunts and growls echoing in the air. I felt nervous about myself and how I would get out of this but scratch the back of head.

"Ugh man what a waste?" I clenched my hand on a handle and pulled out from my back, noticing the swarm lunged to attack me, I smirked and pulled out swinging the blade sending them back to the ground before pinning it onto the grass."then, guess I'll have some fun with this!"

The other took a step back, giving some space for the Metachurl in front of me. He stepped forward with a determined look behind the mask and a menacing ax in his hand, even though I couldn't see it. The weapon was so massive that it seemed to creep through the floor as he advanced toward me slowly. With a firm grip on the handle, he let out a fierce growl, making it clear that he meant business."Oooh, I get it." I quickly kicked the tip of the sword, free-styling it around before pointing directly at him."Wanna have some of this big guy!"

The Hilichurl roared in fury as he marched towards me without hesitation. "Here we go!"

Swinging the Weapon down to slash me in half but blocking it with the sword as it made contact with it, Swinging downward grabbed the dirt and throwing at his face stunningly, before sending my fist into his face with force pushing him back to the ground. It didn't last long before he started growling in frustration to march towards me as I did the same. Soon the sound of the blades clashing together through the battle was so exciting going on inside of me that never I felt before.

That was short-lived when I began to feel the exhaustion set in. My body was growing weak as if it were about to collapse from this fight. I struggled to keep up my defenses as the hilichurl swung his ax toward me. With great effort, I managed to block the attack with my sword.

Even though my strength was failing me, I could feel something was not right. This took me off guard when the metachurl threw a strong punch hitting me hard in the stomach. The blow forced me at the rear end, causing me to collide with a nearby tree. As I hit the tree, I felt the impact reverberate throughout my back.

I tried to get up but struggled because my fractured spine was broken. Instantly, the beast grabbed me by the head and threw me onto the ground. He would punch me with so much force. Over and over, and over and over before I was weak to move a muscle, he would grab the Ax and raise it over his head ready to slash my head; will I die?

However, a sword blocks the finisher to much confusion. I didn't understand what was happening because my eyes were blurry for a second until it was back to normal and I was able to see who stopped the attack.

A blonde female pushed the creature away using her weapon before kicking him back to the ground. He got on his and was about to lunge, but she was stopped by a stab in the chest with the sword as the creature collapsed to the ground.

Much to the other creature's shock as she looked around the swarm, they were about to attack her but paused and retreated to their camp without any explanation. The girl inhales, exhales, and disappears her sword; she is relieved but also confused as to why they fall back, too shocked at what just happened. I for one was confused as well, especially the girl, how was she able to take on a Metachurl without ease?

Outside of her appearance, she was wearing a blue and white, her hair was yellow and short with two flowers attached to it.

Getting up from the ground and stretching my arms, and legs, including my back despite groaning a little bit, I heard footsteps coming towards me after I warmed up myself. I opened my eyes to the girl closer to my face which startled me, and blushed. However, she hands me my weapon.

"Here, I think this belongs to you?" She asked.

I grabbed my sword back from her."Thanks... you..."

"Are you alright?"

"Me?" I scoffed, "I'm Total..ly"Without words that came to a stop, I started to collapse from the fight, falling from the ground face first however she was able to catch me holding onto me with my left arm. All my energy was wasted by her, no offense I was burning out and weak. At least she saved me at the very last moment.

As I gradually regained consciousness, I found myself lying on the ground in a strange and unfamiliar place. The surroundings were eerily silent, and everything was shrouded in darkness and a thick blanket of mist that seemed to stretch out for miles in every direction. As I slowly picked myself up off the ground, I could see that the mist covered everything.

With a growing sense of unease, I started to move forward, hoping to find some sign of life or some indication of where I was. But as I walked through the mist, there was still no sign of anyone or anything around me. The silence was deafening, but something broke the silence, my head start hurt and hearing cries from a baby

"Everything will be alright my little one..." This Voice I heard in my ear called out to me.

"Hello?"

Why does this voice that sounds like a woman sound so familiar, I can't wrap my finger on it. Why can't I remember? To find that answer I followed the voices that were out to me, With no lock I became hopeless.

Before noticing a small light in the distance, a bright light emitted from afar lit up the darkness, too bright as I covered my eyes, this light show me vision in my mind as a baby being put down by a woman with black hair and a coat walking away but stopping and turning her head around one last time.

"I'm sorry. I hope you can forgive me. someday," She said, Before sheathing a sword and charging towards the light.

I would seem to be laying on someone's thigh and even felt someone touching my face, forcing me to open my eyes as a light beam right through before was covered by her, the same girl that saved me along with a kid.

I jumped by stunned my eyes widened and breathily seemed out of control

"You seem to be surprised," She stated,

I started to collect my thoughts by taking a deep breath and stretching my arms moving up before them on my back pretending to be cool." What me?! Pfft Nooo I'm fine." fake laughing so hard my lungs began to hurt holding it tightly touching my right chest.

"I see. Are you okay, are there any wounds?"

"I'm fine just recovering that's all." She looked at me suspiciously glancing, seeing the scars that on my body were healed.

"Yes I noticed your wounds in your body when you were unconscious healed rapidly."

"OH, Y-you notice that? Ummm….." She noticed something off about me as I looked away from her eyes and began to stand up and sit beside her.

"Are you-"

"KYRIE!" I said to her, holding up my hand to give her a shake in surprise." Sanchez. My name is Kyrie Sanchez."

She looks at my uneasy smile and my hand suspiciously before grabbing it softly."Lumine"

"It's meet to me, you Lu-"

"Hey!" Our attention soon was focused on the furious little girl."Why isn't anyone introducing me."

"Sorry," Lumine apologized," this is Paimon, she's my friend."

"Are you friends?" I asked the floating child.

"Well, we've only been traveling partners for two months, but we've already become the very best of friends."

"I found her by a lake and fished her out from suffocating under the water."

"Seriously?"

"Yup."

"Uh-huh? well, it's nice to meet you both, and thanks for saving me back there, if it weren't for you would have died there."

"Come to think of it, It seems like you just act without thinking when you hear noises coming from my fighting with the Metachurl," Paimon said

"I just did what I had to do, that's all." She said, in somewhat a serious and depressed tone. She starts to feel off about normally would be glad to save someone, but it seems like she has been through the worst now I don't fully since I barely know her but I can tell.

"Feeling alright?"

"Huh?"

"You suddenly feel disappointed, ya know instead of sounding-"

"Proud?"

"Ya you notice that too right?" Referring to Paimon.

"No, but now that you mention it you acted without thinking when you came to save him. it seems you are hoping you found someone."

Lumine didn't have anything to say except, just look away in silence. Kyrie then sat down beside her for comfort. "Hey, If there's something in mind, you can tell me trust me I won't criticize anything I'm just here to listen."

She looked at me and sighed and explained who she was, a traveler from another world and a brother who traveled across worlds, and how she was separated from her brother by an Unknown God.

"Okay, just to clarify, you and your brother are held from another world, but when you want to move to the next world you are blocked by some god?"

Pause POV:

From her point of view, she saw a woman emerge from the portal gazing upon the twins who took notice of her presence, wearing a black and white outfit with hair upward.

"Outlanders!" She exclaimed."Your Journey ends here!"

Lumine steps forward."Who are you?"

"The sustain of heavenly principles, The arrogation of mankind ends now!"

Caught by surprise spawning a cube on the ground where they are standing but quickly dodged the incoming attack, The Twins prepared themselves for battle and charge forward to the Enemy.

The god sprouted tentacles reaching out to attack, But the twins skillfully dodged from left to right, expertly evading their enemy's grasp. With swords drawn, they charged forth toward the deity, only their sword to be blocked by the Woman's grasp. Quickly forming a cube that expands further on both palms, Lumine acted quickly dodging the cube's grasp just in time. However, her brother wasn't as lucky and was caught in the cube's clutches.

"Aether!" She exclaimed, Aether looked up at her before it finally consumed him and shrunk into a small yellow cube held in the hands of the Murder.

She was attempting to strike from behind with a powerful attack, causing an explosion. However, the goddess blocks the explosion by forming more cubes, while simultaneously shrinking the rest of the cubes into her hand, before it ultimately consumes her.

"Wait, don't go!"She cried out as the Goddess watched her be consumed."Give my Brother Ba-"

Unpause POV:

"And just like that, God took away my Brother. Some kind of seal was cast upon me, and I lost my power. so we used to travel from world to world. we are now trapped here."

As she places the stick down on the ground, she begins to explain to me in detail. The way she speaks gives me the impression that she thinks it's her fault that we're both trapped in this realm. Perhaps she's gone through a similar experience before, just like me. Losing someone important to you can be a devastating experience. It's something I know all too well.

"How many years ago was it? *Sighed* I don't know. But I intended to find out, after I awoke I was all alone. Right until I met Paimon two months ago, where she taught me the language of teyvat."

"And it took two months for her to become a conversational speaker," I said, turning to Paimon who nodded, Lumine giggled a bit before looking down with a sad expression. I turned to her. "I'm sorry to hear that you and your brother were separated. I understand that it must be difficult for you that you couldn't not save him, it's not your fault, trust me I know how you feel."

Kyrie can remember the Incident like that before arriving here.

"It's alright."

"Let me help you!"

She looked at me with a confused face. "Look, if you're going to find your relative, you're going need some assistance, I want to help so this might be a start for me."

"Why do you want to help me?"

"Because well… My life has been hard ever since I got here. It's just scheduled over and nothing has changed, and I just… want to do something good outside of my work and hopefully find something that I need in this world."

"I see, alright you can tag along my search for my brother."

"Thanks."

"Pfft, don't thank me, you're the one who asked."

"Yeah, Paimon really owes you for that, otherwise, Paimon would likely would have drowned. So Paimon will do her best to be a great guide."

I chuckle a little bit, before looking back on the lumine staring into the ocean with a soft smile on her face, giving her hope.

"We should head off, let's get going!" She said in an enthusiastic tone, heading off to leave the beach as Lumine stood up and followed.

I stood up as well before hearing a familiar voice calling me whispering.

"Kyrie..."

Flinching, I look around before seeing a person wearing a cloak and a mask standing on the edge. I was confused before Lumine called me.

"Kyrie!" Paimon called for my attention as I saw them with a confused expression." Are you coming?"

"Yeah coming!" I responded, they walked away while I looked up again to see the stranger vanished, who was that? I'll figure it out later as I sprinted to catch up to them.

Lumine Pov

As we followed Paimon along the road, we chatted with each other, laughed, and got to know one another. Like me Kyrie from another world who lost her friend after an accident, His personality seems uplifting, and sometimes makes a joke at times, one joke talks about calling Paimon an emergency food in case we ran out of supplies, which made me giggle but upset Paimon.

Finally, we stopped on a cliff to admire the breathtaking view of the world and the city of Mondstat, with the wind blowing gently behind us. It was beautiful. I wish my brother would see this. I looked towards and noticed a small drop of tear in her eye before rubbing his eyes with his arms, shaking his head, and finally taking a deep breath, smiling. Before noticing my confusion.

"I got some dirt on my eyes." He said.

"Look!" Paimon exclaimed, pointing at a statue below."That's a statue of the seven!"

"Statue of the seven?" I asked.

"It's a statue that represents a deity." Kyrie Explained." There are a few of these statues scattered across the land to show The seven protections over the world each having a different element."

"That's right, and Among the seven gods. This God controls the wind." Paimon finished.

"God of Wind?" Lumine whispered, pondering to herself the Unknown god but it wasn't related to this Anemo God of this region.

"Although Paimon's not sure whether the god you're looking for is the Anemo god, But... Paimon'll take you to the Anemo God's place first, and there's reasons why~"

"Follow me." Paimon went first down the steep as the two followed, Kyrie caught up to her walking beside her, and so did Lumine.

"As we all know, poetry, and language flow like the wind. There'll definitely be someone there who knows about your brother, At least, that's what Paimon thinks."

"Do you think Anemo gods will know about The Sustain of Heavenly principles?"

"Whether the gods answer is a different story, You never know unless you try, So let's hope for it!"

Coming to a halt, we saw the statue across the water. I was the first to swim over there while Paimon flew, skipping liquid water since she could float. When getting out of the water it made my clothes wet, but it didn't bother me at all so I shook myself to dry off the wetness. I turn around and notice Kyrie appearing to be shivering with his hands crossed and looking down at the water.

But he took a deep breath and bent his legs ready to pounce across rather than just swimming over, was he successful? No, his jump wasn't the time as he fell flat against the water, drowning in the water with too much shockness.

"Are you Okay?" Paimon asked, His arm popped out from the water breathing so heavily, making her flinch and hide behind me. This made me jump.

"I thought I was going to suffocate for a minute there! At least I made it… kinda" He exclaimed, we both crossed with dissatisfaction on our faces."What?"

"You can't swim, do you?" I guessed as he got up from the water.

"Yeah pretty much I have a fear of drowning in deep, I like not too deep." We placed our hands onto our faces." Hey don't give those looks! Look on the bright side, we're standing right in front of the statue."

He pointed to the Statue as they both glanced at it for about a ten second. Until I noticed a circle below the stone cloak figure with wings on the back. walking slowly toward it, I raised my right hand to touch it, when suddenly the statue started to activate. Creating a bright blue light onto a sphere and glowing up, before floating around and resonating with me, making small glows on my wrist, boots, and chest, representing the wind.

Paimon came forward."Ooh! Did you just see the Elements of the World?"

"I believe so," I said confused

"What the heck just happened there?" Kyrie asked as he too was blank as well.

"I don't know, the moment I touched the statue, the powers of anemo became a part of me."

"It seems all you can do is just interact with the statue. As much as they may want it, people in this world can never get a hold of powers as easily as you."

"I think I know why that's the case."

"Ah-ha, it's because you're not from this world to begin with."

This comment only made me annoyed by that comment, but she does have a point.

"If we keep heading west from here, we'll eventually reach Mondstadt, the City of Freedom." Paimon pointed at a town nearby. "Monstadt is the city of wind because they worship the God of Anemo. So perhaps, because you got power from the God of Anemo, you can find some clues there."

"Well let's get going, we don't want to waste time right!" Kyrie said, started running ahead as he jumped across the water and made it, before turning around to wave at us."No fail!"

I chuckled at his enthusiasm as we continued to head forth to the city of wind. As we stroll on the path Both Paimon and Kyrie go on and ramble about each other, Kyrie being so relaxed and upbeat while Paimon is angry and crying like some little kid. I heard he said he used to live somewhere before staying in Mondstadt, so I wonder what his life is like there.

Before I could ask about It, I heard something above us as it passed by. I looked up to see a giant wing beast soaring above us before diving into a forest, Kyrie and Paimon noticed as well.

"Wow! What is that in the sky!?" Paimon pointed.

"It seems like it's entering the forest!" Kyrie stated.

"Well, then we must proceed with caution. Come on!" Paimon dashes forward.

"Hey! Wait a second!" Kyrie and I ran to follow Paimon from behind as we entered the tracks where the dragon was heading.

We searched inside the forest where the dragon had entered. To our surprise, Paimon pointed to something nearby as we went to see the direction she showed us. It was the same dragon that swore above the skies, with a bard who seemed to be calming it down while we peaked on the side of the boulder to stay hidden.

"Don't be afraid... It's alright now, I'm back." The Mysterious said to the dragon.

"Is he... Talking to a Dragon?" Paimon whispered.

"Think so," I said, before feeling the anemo gods' powers stirring within me, this started to alarm the dragon as he could feel the energy surging through his body. This sudden disruption caused the Dragon to roar and it swung at the boy with, which he quickly dodged the attack before turning around.

"Who's there?" He exclaimed, As the dragon began to lose control, the boy took a step back and suddenly vanished into thin air. The wind grew stronger, almost as if it was trying to blow us, the dragon flapped its massive wings and soared away from the forest. Finally, the wind died down, leaving us stunned and silent as we watched the dragon disappear into the distance.

"That was close! Paimon almost got blown away!" She said, "Luckily Paimon managed to grab hold of your hair! Thanks."

"I was relieved that thing didn't see us," I said.

"Yeah, what the hell is that thing? Who was that person taming it?" Kyrie pondered.

"Is it normal to talk to dragons?" I asked

"Not really," Kyrie replied.

"Of course not!" As did Paimon, until noticing an object floating on top where the dragon left behind."Oh? What's that?" Getting My attention and Kyrie's."There's some kind of shiny red thingy on that rock over there... Let's go take a closer look."

Paimon told me to be cautious about it as we went over to get better details of the object, it was round almost like a teardrop glowing red.

"Do you have any thoughts?" I asked.

"Paimon's never seen a stone like this before, so Paimon can't tell what it is. All Paimon knows is that it's dangerous... best we put it away for now."

As requested Kyrie grabbed the crystal and placed it in one of his pockets.

"Good call, maybe learn more about it once we arrive at Mondstadt."

"Right, now let's get out of here." We continued on the path we took along the road and out of the Forest.

Once we exited out of the woods we were already closer to Mondstadt, finally. I just hoped Aether was okay. I asked Kyrie from behind, but he wasn't with us anymore.

"Where did he-"

"Hey, you! Stop right there!" Halting us to a stop when we heard another voice seizing us, Hearing footsteps we turned around and saw Red Girl jumping out of the bloom before rolling safely onto the ground and turning around to face us."May Anemo Archon protect you stranger!"

She Saluted herself to us."I am Amber, Outrider for the Knights of Favonius. You don't look like citizens of Mondstadt. Explain yourselves!"

"Hey! We're not looking for trouble here!" Paimon said

"Yeah, we were just passing by that's all," I said

"That's what all the troublemakers say," Amber said

I groaned but gladly introduced myself. "I'm Lumine, It's a Pleasure to meet you, Outrider Amber."

"Lumine? Huh... Doesn't sound like a local name to me." She then pays her attention towards paimon." And this Mascot... what's the deal with it?"

"Let's just say she's my emergency food."

"HEY! I am not!"

"So to sum it up, you're traveling partners, right?"

"Yup," Paimon and I both said.

"Well look. There's been a large dragon sighted around Mondstadt recently. Best you get inside the city as soon as possible. It's not far from here. I'll escort you there."

"Oh? Aren't you out here for some other reason?" Paimon asked.

"I am. But not to Worry. I can keep you both safe while doing that too. Besides... I'm still not sure if I can trust you two just yet!"

"Easy Amby, let's not keep it too far," Turning around we saw Kyrie who too exited out of the woods."Sorry I was lost, got a little sidetracked."

"Kyrie? You're with these two?" Amber asked.

"That's right, It's kind of a long story. Anyway, Amber aren't Knights supposed to be loyal to their guests, why are they so suspicious just like you? That's kind of rude if you ask me."

"Oh, ahh... *Coughed.* I'm Sorry, probably not something I should say as a knight." She slowly inhales her lungs before exhaling. "I give you my apologies, uh... strange yet... Respectable travelers."

"That sounded so fake!" Paimon commented, I chuckled a bit.

"Do you have something against the type of language usage prescribed by the Knights of Favonius Handbook?!"

Kyrie covered his mouth with his hand wincing to keep his laughter, Paimon gave him a suspicious look which turned his eyes away from hers. She gave him sign language, keeping her eye on him. If she tried to make any jokes about her, she'd end him. I and the Outrider proceeded to walk away from the two which noticed and followed as well.

"So, suspicious Travelers, what are you doing in Mondstadt?" She asked.

"Lumine got separated from brother during a really long journey." Paimon replied."Paimon is her Travel Buddy helping her to find her brother."

"I am also helping her too." Kyrie also added in.

"Oh, looking for your family... huh... Ah." Amber said she put her thumb and finger covering her mouth before taking a deep breath."Okay, once we finish one task, I'll help you put up posters around the city."

"How is putting up posters around Mondstadt gonna solve it?" Kyrie whispered to himself.

"Ah! A hilichurl!" Paimon Pointed at the creature who saw us and scrambled away.

"Quick! Get it!" Amber said Kyrie grabbed a rock and threw it as far as it went and was able to hit the Hilichurl.

"Got 'em," Kyrie said. We walked to check if the Hilichurl was dead or alive, and it turned out it was still breathing slowly.

"Huh, I thought he'd be dead after I hit him with the rock, Amby can you explain this?"

"Well, These Monsters have been getting too close to the city recently," Amber said. "So that's why you need to take out one of their campsites, so my task this time is to clear out their camp "

"Well alright," Kyrie said, grabbing the hilichurl and carrying it on his shoulder."Mind if we assist,"

"Are you sure? I Don't think you're that type of girl who would fight" Amber asked Lumine.

"I can fight." She stated

"Really? Oh well in that case, okay."

"Great! Then let's get moving!" He said with an enthusiastic tone, turning away from Lumine, Paimon, and Amber while pointing to the direction where the hilichurl he started marching. Amber feels strange about Kyrie like he has never been excited before.

End Pov:

In a hilichurl camp, the creatures were going about their daily routines. Some were tending to the fire, while the second was busy preparing meals or their weapons, and the third was looking out. Suddenly, one of the Hilichurls noticed something strange in the distance. It appeared to be an approaching figure, but they couldn't quite distinguish who or what it was.

"HEADS UP!"

Immediately one of the lookouts was knocked out by one of its species who was still unconscious, The humans arrived as Amber braced her bow firing on one Hilichurl right through the head.

lumine slashed the enemy with a swing using her sword as the creature dodged, but was caught off guard when she did a slide kick that caused him to fall to the ground leaving Lumine to stab them right through the chest, another Hilichurl jump from behind with a surprise attack but Kyrie punches him down sending them straight to a boulder with so much force. This comes as a shock to Lumine.

He chuckled, putting his hand at the back of his head, before noticing a Hilichurl wielding a bow and arrow aiming directly at her.

"Behind You!" Kyrie exclaimed, a small gasp from Lumine as she quickly reacted before the arrow could shoot, by throwing her swords towards the hilichurl however completely missed the shot, but it only frightened him causing it to run away from the scene.

She felt embarrassed by that display, but Kyrie whistled to get her attention and gave her a thumbs up for a boost of motivation.

"Heh, nothing to it," Amber said, coming up towards them."Though I gotta say you surprised me with your move there, Still thanks for the backup. How'd it feel?"

"It felt good, my body's refreshing after that, Still those creatures seem to be easier to beat," Lumine responded.

"Now that you mention it, how is it that the hilichurls ended up here? These creatures don't seem to be the type to set up camps so close to cities like this." Paimon asked.

"Yeah, I heard that these camps have been much closer instead of further out in the wilderness I mean it's not like they just change tactics something," Kyrie pondered

"That's because the dragon – Stormterror – has been around a lot more recently, our orchards have been destroyed, and the local market has been affected as well." Amber Explained, "When the storms hit, we usually end up with at least a few injuries, so the Knights of Favonius have been tied up doing the best they can to defend the area."

"So these annoying creatures have been getting closer and closer to the city?" Paimon asked.

"Exactly. That said, Clearing this camp helped make the area a little safer. Come with me! A responsible Knight must make sure to see you to the city safely." With the task finally complete they continued to head to Mondstatdt.

They arrived at the entrance to the City and walked through the tunnel. In her awe, Lumine saw the beauty of Mondstadt. It was so amazing from houses to the fewer local citizens in the area.

"Let me officially introduce the City of Wind, dandelions, and freedom – Travelers under the protection of the Knights of Favonius – Welcome to Mondstadt!" Amber said.

"Finally, no more having to camp outdoors! But... the city folk don't look too cheery."

"Well, the citizens haven't been doing well because of Stormterror recently," Kyrie answered

"Exactly, but everything will turn out fine as long as Jean's with us!"

"Jean?" Paimon asked.

"Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius — Jean, Defender of Mondstadt. With Jean on our side, surely even the vicious Stormterror will be no match to us."

"I wonder if she knows something about the kid we saw back in the forest." Lumine thought.

"Before I take you guys to the Knights of Favonius headquarters, I present for you two." Kyrie and Lumine we're surprised

"Really?" Kyrie said

"What kind of gift is it?" Lumine asked

"A Reward for helping me clear out that Hilichurl camp."

"He- Hey! Why doesn't Paimon get a reward?"

"Ahh... Because this reward is useless to you, Paimon. But I'll treat you to a Traditional Mondstadt delicacy — Sticky honey Roast."

"Sticky Honey Roast!"

"Well, I guess that solves that problem."

"Come with me, we'll head to the city's ahh... high ground."

Amber leads the way as they follow through the town from upstairs, pass by the water fountain, and turn left, all the while Lumine notices something off about this place, it seems to be empty and there are fewer people there than she expected.

"Why aren't there anyone here?"

"It wasn't always like this, These streets used to be bustling with people. I used to greet and help out as I walked around the place or pick a bite on my day off. However, due to the recent Stormterror attacks, the usual crowds are nowhere to be seen. Except for the local tavern near the city wall where I work. Their business has been better than ever." Kyrie said.

"How long have you been working there?"

"Mmmmm… I don't seem to remember, guess time passes by huh." He laughed uneasily, Paimon looked at him, eyelids almost closed.

"What?"

They arrive on top of the city's high grounds where the giant statue of the Anemo god is placed in the center. The same stance as the other statue that Lumine saw when she received the god's powers, Amber stands in front of it to face the trio and reveals the special reward for Kyrie and Lumine.

"Alright, we're here. what's the gift?"

"So the present I want to give you is... A Wind Glider!"

"Woah,"

"Wind Glider?"

"Outriders use them to ride the wind, and the people of Mondstadt love using them too. I brought you here to give it to you so you can experience it right away!"

"Oh, you're really excited about these Wind Gliders, huh," Paimon said.

"Well, that's because the wind is the heart and Soul of Mondstadt." She then exhales with all of this excitement."Alright then, enough talk! Let's give it a whirl! It's easy to use, but you still need to follow my instructions."

After putting on the outfit, Amber instructed them to stand on the platform and fly down to the water fountain at the center. Kyrie was nervous as he never tried this before and he might drop down to the ground or maybe bump into walls, but he took a deep breath as they descended towards the ground. Lumine landing was smooth and effortless.

As she made her way through, she encountered several obstacles such as tall buildings, hanging garments, and wooden pastels that blocked her path. Despite the challenges, she persevered and finally arrived at the destination - a magnificent fountain in the heart of the city. She drops down to the ground on her feet as the wings disappear from behind, she then focuses her attention on the fountain as water pours down, before looking at her reflection in the water still thinking about her brother.

"INCOMING!"

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of screams, coming from behind her as she quickly turned around. Kyrie came barreling down from above and landed with a loud splash in the fountain.

She quickly ran towards him to check on his condition. He was all soaking wet, and He looked at her with a mix of exhaustion, relief, but also embarrassed, lumine smiled as reached her hand to Kyrie helping him get back up from his water.

"You okay, that was quite the landing."

"Yeah…" chuckled. "Maybe I need to get a hang of it first before I give it a spin. I just felt like I was scared when I tried to control where I'm going, though it seems you're natural on your first try."

She chuckled,"Says someone who can't swim,"

"Wha-HEY! I'm getting there, I just… need a little bit more time with that too." Lumine rolled her eyes before she felt the wind slowly growing stronger and blue skies were also covered by clouds. "Ugh, why are the winds getting cold?"

"I don't think this is happening on purpose."

"What makes you say that?"

Soon they heard roars from behind and spotted the dragon getting close to Mondstadt, it was Stormterror soarin around the city as the citizens ran for their lives while the two watched.

He moved at an incredible speed before suddenly coming to a complete stop, hovering in the air with a deafening roar. At that moment, tornadoes started to form all around the city.

Kyrie and Lumine were caught off guard by the sudden change in weather and started sprinting away. However, the tornado caught up with lumine, and was lifted off from the ground.

Kyrie had to act fast, He slammed the tip of his weapon onto the ground to create an anchor and then lunged towards Lumine. Unfortunately, his efforts were in vain as he was too late to save her from the tornado's powerful grip.

"Lumine!"

The tornado spun her around and high above the city. Fortunately, she had her wind glider preventing her from falling to the ground.

As she looked down upon the city being swarmed by tornadoes, she noticed Stormterror approaching from her left. She quickly dodged it but stumbled in the process.

Lumine managed to stabilize herself using the glider, but she couldn't help but notice that something was off. It appeared as though the wind was keeping her afloat.

"How am I-"

"I'm preventing your fall with the power of a thousand winds." A mysterious voice calls upon her. "Now, concentrate. See yourself grasping the wind. Harness its energy."

She started charging the energy of the wind creating multiple blasts at the dragon, stormterror flew left to right avoiding incoming fire but a few shots from Lumine caused him to roar and flee up to the sky in retreat as Lumine watched it soar above.

Meanwhile down below Mondstadt

Amber notices something in the sky, they see Lumine making her touch down in front of the statue of the Anemo god, the trio rushes to the top with Kyrie being the first to check on her as she lands safely.

"Lumine, are you okay? Are you hurt?" Kyrie asked.

"I'm Fine. "

As Lumine and her companion turned around, their ears were met with the sound of approaching footsteps. Their eyes followed the sound of slow clapping, only to be met with the sight of a blue-haired man with an eyepatch. it was none other than Keaya Alberich, the former Captain of the Cavalry from the Knights of Favonius.

"You've actually got the power to go up against the dragon... Are you a new ally... or a new storm?" He asked, Lumine was surprised by this person who was impressed by her dramatic display.

"Stormterror... is attacking Mondstadt itself!" Amber exclaimed. "Keaya, Kyrie, and Lumine, you've come at the right time! We must..."

"Hold on, Amber. Are you perhaps forgetting to introduce us?"

"Oh... right. This is Keaya, our Cavalry Captain. This is Kyrie Sanchez my friend and those two are travelers from afar,"

"From afar? Is all we know of them."

"Long story short, she is looking for her brother so Kyrie Sanchez helps her travel across Seven nations."

"And don't forget Paimon, She is our Travel Guide, they are looking for the Anemo god," Kyrie said.

"That's right," Paimon said.

"I see. Welcome to Mondstadt — though you haven't arrived at the best of times, I'm afraid. I understand the anguish of being separated from family. I'm not really sure why you're looking for the Anemo God. But everyone has their secrets, right?"

"Well, um..." Lumine nervously said.

Keaya chuckled."Relax! I won't press you, but first and foremost, on behalf of the Knights of Favonius, I would like to extend our thanks to you for your help just now."

"Um... Thank you, we couldn't just leave the situation to fester," Lumine replied.

"Your fight to defend the city against the dragon just now was witnessed by no small number of citizens. The Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius is also very interested in meeting you, and formally invites you both to our headquarters."

"Wait, including me?" Kyrie asked.

"Including you."

This surprises Kyrie but also confuses him, he never thought other knights needed him along with Lumine as well, Keaya and Amber walk away as the trio follows from behind. While He has a sense of suspicion about the Captain, why would they choose him when it was all Lumine's work? he just stood on the sidelines.

lumine noticed his expression "You okay?"

"Huh, Oh um I'm fine I was just thinking of something."

Favonius Headquarters

In the office, Acting Grand Master Jean was lying next to her desk, waiting anxiously for any signs for the new incomers. As time continued to pass by, she couldn't take it anymore and eventually got up and walked towards the door. Meanwhile, the librarian Lisa was reading a book before closing it when she noticed Jean's patience.

"Jean, what's the hurry?" Lisa asked," I thought we agreed to meet them here."

"There have been sightings of Stormterror outside the City, Once we meet we must-"

"Relax, I'll lend a hand when the time comes." At just the right moment Keaya and Amber arrived at the door along with kyrie, lumine, and paimon.

"Jean, I've brought them," Keaya said.

Inside the headquarters, he explained the details that Amber and Kyrie had about the Traveler.

"... And once it was over I brought them straight here."

"Mondstadt welcomes you, windborne travelers. I am Jean, Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius. This is Lisa, our resident Librarian."

Kyrie waves at her as she waves back.

"Oh! Are you Sweeties here to help us out? You're both Adorable." Lisa commented, making Kyrie blush and rubbing the back of the head with embarrassment. "Sadly, the timing is regrettable... Stormterror caused quite a ruckus in the region since its resurgence. Simply put, Mondstadt's Elemental Sphere and Ley lines are now akin to a yarn ball in the paws of a kitten. For a mage, it couldn't get much worse. My skin is one elemental particle away from a Full-Blown breakout."

"It seems you people had a hard time solving this crisis," Lumine said.

"Yes, if not for this interference, the knights of Favonius would have better ways to help you than just putting up missing person posters." Jean said."We simply ask that you repose in Mondstadt while we help you seek out your brother."

"Okay," Lumine said."I'll help clean this operation."

"Well, I guess tag along as well, Count me in!" Kyrie replied with enthusiasm and Lumine looked at him, "What? You're going to need more firepower to bust anything," before whispering to her."Besides I promise I'd help you help you find you're brother."

Lumine smiled.

"Paimon will help too."

"Good. In that case, we need a plan ... " Keaya said.

"With Stormterror now directly attacking Mondstadt, we may have the opportunity to cut this problem off the source." Jean explained."Lisa has revealed the sources of Stormterror's power with her detection magic."

"Is that so?"

"They're located in the abandoned Four Wind Temple," Lisa said."StormTerror's ability to whip up these kinds of storms can be attributed to its drawing power from the temples"

"Our objective is to deal with three of the temples, I trust everyone understands why we are dealing with three," Jean said.

"Paimon doesn't."

Lumine sighed "We should probably ask about it later,"

"Knights of Favonius time is against us, and the storm is rampant. There is no point in maintaining a defensive position." Jean said. "Alright, we need to take initiative and act before the situation escalates."
