"Take me with you, Frederick."
"Meibel, it's dangerous at sea, you know that."
"I know. That's why I want to be with you."
Frederick thought about it.
"But, are you sure?" Frederick asked. "I don't know."
"It's your ship. You don't need to ask anyone. You know that."
"Are you sure, though?" Frederick realized he had no arguments left.
"Quite sure," she told him. "You'll have to put up with me. Is that going to be a problem?"
Frederick smiled, sitting down at the table. She knew what she wanted.
"Fine, but you don't get to do all the work."
