"Mom!" I scream her name
I wake up in amity headquarter . Around me , the room is extremely dark. My mom was dead . I was knocked off by someone who I didn't know . I didn't save Alan who was controlled by simulation. Four was taken away at the same time .
I get up . This is not the simulation or it is but I can't know because I am divergent so I am always awake in the simulation. I don't know what I can do.
I get up and open the door . It is dark outside but not fully dark. Johanna Reyes is sitting under the orchard
"Want to come and sit down with me ?" Johanna smiles at me
"Sure thanks ." I walk toward her and sit down beside her
"Want some raspberries ?" She gives me the bowl
I take a handful of it. I miss Alan . I miss all of them.
"Can you please tell me about you and Alan Davis ?" She looks at me . "I knew him but I couldn't expect that he fall in love with someone."
"He was the leader in training when I was initiate. He taught me how to be kind and selfless when I should be brave. He also saved me from those attackers when we get into second stage of training. He also deleted all my footage of my fear landscape because I am divergent. " I want to cry now . "He let me into his fear landscape and I got know him better ."
"That was surprised . He should hand your information to max." Johanna frowns
I look at her . Why is she saying that? Was Alan working with Jeanine Matthew before?
"Do you think that if he can work toward his position now , he must have a strong tied with max? Of course he didn't kill anyone to my knowledge but it was your risk if he didn't fall in love with you, you could be dead ." Johanna shrugs
Then I hear train horns , someone jump off the train. When they approach us , I see him. He has light skin tone but no hair . He has light brownish eyebrows and eyes . He has high arch nose and he has brownish beard around his chin. He has black stripped tattoos on his neck and back of his hands
I heard from mom that they are tied up with authority in dauntless . Tattoos in dauntless are not only showing fashion but also authority.
"Alan !" I run toward him.
"His arms!" Tris shouts
He wraps me into his arms and I hear him groan. He is injured
"I am sorry Alan. I miss you." I cry. "God you are bleeding."
"Alan saved me ." Tris says . "He is the best brother in law ever ."
"Where is Maria and Sam?" I frown
Alan kisses my forehead . He looks so pale.
"They are on the way." Alan comforts me . "I am fine ."
"Surprise , Mr Davis can love someone ." Johanna comes . "I will send you to hospital."
After she introduces us to the compound , she asks her people to escort Alan and Peter to the hospital and I follow Alan too.
"Johanna told me that you were working with max and Jeanine ." I sit beside him.
"I was doing that but when you came into my life , I turn around. I am sorry that I didn't tell you." Alan wraps me into his arms .
"Alan , I know you love me but you shouldn't protect tris like that. What if you dead? My mom and dad were both dead for her . What about me ? They never think about me" I sob. "You didn't even think about me too!"
Alan tries to comfort me but he knows that I can't calm down.
"Alina looks at me please!" He grabs my face . "I was thinking about you. Just because I was thinking about you that I couldn't let you lose any family members again. There are more people love you beside me ."
"You were so possessive and now you want to push me to other!" I scream.
I run away. I stop at the end of the hall way. Alan chases after me . He hugs me from the back.
"I am sorry. I shouldn't say that." Alan kisses my cheek. "Calm down. I love you but if one day , something happened , I don't want you to stay alone forever ."
"I want you to be safe for me . I want you to be here with me forever " I say.
"I will." He says seriously. "I love you so I will . Let's go back."
We get back to amity headquarter . Tris and four are eating dinner
"I am sorry sister . I shouldn't act alone ." Tris bites her lips .
"Yeah you shouldn't. Mom and dad were dead because of you. Now I nearly lost my fiancé !" I inhale deeply. "I am going to bed . I am not going to eat."
"You need to eat. Alina , i am fine ." Alan grabs my arm
I was forced to sit down. Alan comforts me for a while .
"I am sorry Alina . I should protect her ." Four taps his fingers on the table
"That's fine . I was over emotional." I shake my head . "I am pregnant."
Everyone are staring at me . Alan is also staring at me .
"Holly shit sister!" Maria stands up. "Then how we supposed to run?"
"I can run . It is not a month yet," I shrug.
"I am pregnant too." Maria bites her lips
Sam and Alan are both quiet for a while . I put my hand on my stomach.
"I nearly let a baby lost his or her father!" Tris inhales so deeply.
"Yes you did ." I roll my eyes . "Never do that again."
"I will not allow that to happen again."
Susan hands me a bowl of soup. I know that I should eat.
"You have to eat for the baby." Susan nods at me
"Thanks Susan. Did you see your brother?" I ask
Robert chose amity when I chose dauntless .
"I saw him but we are not in the same faction so I have to leave him alone ." Susan sighs
"The faction system is going to break down soon. You don't need to follow that so strictly." Sam shakes his head
"That is the flaw in every dauntless ."
Marcus walks toward us . I hate this man for doing that to four.
"It's none of your business ." I say arrogantly.
"I knew that you couldn't be abnegation since the first day that I saw you." Marcus sits down.
"Go and sit at other table ." Four pushes him away. "She is pregnant. If you anger her , you are killing a baby. She is my instructor ."
Marcus leaves eventually. Caleb and Susan are looking at each other
"You guys shouldn't treat Marcus like that." Susan says
"Susan please ." Caleb cries .
"Fine ."
After we finished , Alan walks me back to my room. Tris and four will sleep beside our bed .
"How are you feeling?" Alan rests on my stomach.
"It's good ." I say.
"I was sorry to make you sad . I shouldn't." Alan says . "Where is Abby?"
Four and tris look at each other . We shake our head
"She must be here somewhere." Four gets off the bed . "I can go ask someone ."
"Sure ." Tris says . "I am also worried ."
"I should go as well. You and tris should stay ." Alan gets off the bed too.
After they leave , tris lays down beside me .
"I am sorry sister ." Tris nudges in my arms .
"I know that you didn't mean that. I am sorry too." I say. "I shouldn't be this emotional."
"I want to name the baby." Tris points at my stomach.
I know that she loves kids since in school. I smile at her
"You and four should have one ." I say. "Don't tell that you are still virgin."
"I am ." Tris sighs
"God." I laugh. "That's fine ."
After Alan and four come in, tris leaves my bed .
"Abby is no where . However she left a kid with Johanna ." Alan sighs . "She told us that her mom maybe is in factionless ."
"God , what happened to Abby?" I am shocked
"She slept with our best friend Jimmy." Four says . "He looks very much like Amar ."
Jimmy was also from abnegation. But he transferred to Candor . He couldn't tolerate the truth serum so he left.
"Where is Jimmy right now ?" I ask
"He is probably dead . Eric and max will not tolerate him." Alan shakes his head . "I didn't know that . I took a guess ."
"God , that horrible ." I exclaim. "We should do something."
Alan sleeps with me after he takes a shower . I fall into sleep so quickly.
"It's fine . Babe ." Alan tries to comfort me
When I wake up the second morning, I feel my body is heavy.
"I am a month now ." I complain. "My body is so weird ."
"I know baby." Alan kisses my forehead .
"We should leave before she gets heavier ." Maria says . "I have two kids already."
Maria gave birth during initiation . I roll my eyes
"I didn't know that Sam was so unable to control his part" I say. "I warn you."
"I am sorry. I and Maria were together before she came . She was too pretty." Sam says
"You two were together before she chose!" I try to calm myself down.
Alan points at Sam. Maria wraps her arms around me
"I am sorry sister . I didn't want you to worry about me . I am fine ." Maria sticks her tongue out. "Let's forget about this ."
"Fine ." I say. "As long as he loves you."
"I of course do ."
