A/N I've always been a huge fan of Pokemon and in recent years, the Loud House. After reading several Loud House/Pokemon crossovers I noticed a distinct lack of Hoenn related content, which is a shame as Gen 3 and it's remakes have been my favorite Gen since they first debuted. So I thought lets change that. I went with "Making the Case" as the Loud House episode to use to get Lincoln to Hoenn as let's face it, NSL and Brawl in The Family have been done to death. I also decided to have the Pokemon World be a separate universe instead of the same one because to be frank, if Pokemon existed in real life the is no way in hell the world wouldn't know about them. With that out of the way I hope you all enjoy my first foray into writing my own stories.

It's been several weeks since the video fiasco, and Lincoln Loud was absolutely miserable. Desperate to win his first ever trophy, Lincoln had entered into the 5th grade video contest, where whoever posted the most popular video would win a large trophy. He had it all figured out. He would have Clyde record him as he did a cool stunt involving mints and cola and that would surely secure his win. Unfortunately he failed to take one thing into consideration.

Cute Animals.

The internet loves cute animals and currently the top video in the contest was a video of a hamster running on a hamster-wheel. After realizing that his video couldn't beat that level of cuteness and (with help from a random commenter on his video) he sought out advice from the one person he knew who could help him get more views. His comedic, older sister, Luan Loud.

After viewing his tape, Luan informed him that stunt videos were "so last year" and that to win he needs to make funny videos. When he asked how, Luan told him to keep his camera on at all times because you never know when you'll strike comedy gold. To illustrate this she had been recording Clyde as he had been picking his nose, much to his embarrassment. After informing Clyde that she never uploads her videos without asking for permission first Luan left Lincoln and Clyde to their devices.

A few hours later, Lincoln and Clyde had unfortunately been unable to record anything one might consider comedy gold. They almost called it quits before Clyde noticed Lynn Jr. juggling a soccer ball on her head near the cola filled pool they had used in their earlier stunt video. Sensing opportunity Lincoln and Clyde hid and began recording as Lynn tripped on a rake, causing her ball to ricochet off a pole into her face and knocking her onto a trampoline before being bounced into the aforementioned pool.

After that Lincoln and Clyde began to secretly record all of Lincoln's sisters as they each did several embarrassing things such as Luna ripping her pants, or Leni and Lisa walking into walls. Only Lily was spared since as a baby anything she did that would be considered 'embarrassing' was instead considered cute.

The next day at school all of Lincoln's friends praised his video for how funny it was. They each began making fun of his sisters stating how embarrassing it would be if someone had recorded them doing similar things.

Lincoln immediately began to worry as he had not considered how his sisters would feel if they discovered what he had done. His fears became stronger when one of his friends stated that their own sisters would pulverize him if he had posted a video like that. Lincoln tried to convince himself (and Clyde) that his sisters would never find out about the video and as soon as he won the trophy he would delete the video and all trace of it.

Unfortunately, Lincoln's fears were immediately proven right because as soon as he walked through the door of his house, his sisters were there waiting. What followed could best be described as the single worst beatdown Lincoln had ever received in his life. Not even Clyde was spared from his sisters' wrath, though their primary focus was of course Lincoln. By the end of it Clyde had gotten a black eye and a bloody nose. Lincoln, on the other hand, was left with both his eyes blackened, missing teeth, a broken nose and several bruised ribs. Luckily for him his parents had intervened before it had gotten worse and had grounded his sisters for their actions. Clyde was sent home and Lincoln was forced to tell his parents why his sisters had decided to beat him senseless.

To say they were disappointed was an understatement. First they had Lincoln take down the video and have him apologize to his sisters for his actions. They then grounded him for the next two months, a whole month longer than his sisters.

Despite his apology his sisters' refused to even be in the same room as him and actively shunned him at every opportunity.

Now, several weeks later, Lincoln sat in his room, miserable. His sisters were now ungrounded and spent all their time doing their activities while he was left with nothing. Even Clyde had distanced himself from Lincoln, blaming him for himself being injured.

"What am I going to do now?" Lincoln asked himself, "All I wanted was a trophy so I could feel as special as my sisters and instead I feel even more worthless."

Feeling the urge to pee, Lincoln left his room and headed to the bathroom. After doing his business he went to make his way back to his room before hearing voices coming from Lori and Leni's room. It appeared that a sister only meeting was going on. He decided to ignore it and continue on his way before he heard his name. Leaning in he began to eavesdrop.

"I still can't believe Lincoln would do this to us." came Luna's voice.

"Well he did do it, and now we're constantly dealing with people making fun of us because of it!" replied Lori.

"Once again he's brought misery upon our household," said Lucy. This nearly brought Lincoln to tears hearing how one of his closest sisters thought about him.

"Didn't you say he made the video to win a trophy?" asked Lola.

Luan replied, "Yeah he asked for my help but completely ignored the part where I said not to post anything without consent."

Lincoln blinked. Luan HAD said that she never uploaded her videos without permission and it had never occurred to him that he should have done the same.

"I still think we're being too hard on him," said Lana.

"That's easy for you to say," came Lynn's voice, "Stinkoln only showed you eating trash. You do that all the time so of course no one would bother you about doing that!"

"How much longer are we going to ignore Linky?" asked Leni

"Until we're no longer being ridiculed by our peers" lisped Lisa, "which according to my calculations and the fact that our sole male sibling has been making numerous attempts to quote 'win a trophy' will probably be for the foreseeable future."

"More like forever," said Lynn, "we all know Stinkoln can't do anything right. He's never going to win anything in his life."

Hearing murmurs of agreement devastated Lincoln as he had had no idea that even his sisters thought he was a loser.

Feeling even worse, Lincoln decided to go downstairs and get a drink. He had only gone down a few steps when he heard his name once again, this time from the dining room.

"Lynn, do you think Lincoln will ever find something he's good at?" said his mom Rita.

"Honestly…I don't know." came his father, Lynn's, reply. "He's tried everything he can think of and all he's ever had to show from it is some broken bones and the ire of his sisters."

"I'm sure he'll find something eventually," argued Rita "It'll just take some time."

Lincoln didn't bother to hear the rest of the conversation. Even his parents were ashamed of him. Returning to his room Lincoln just lay on his bed and did the only thing he could think of.

Cry.

Hours later, and after several tears, Lincoln sat on his bed deep in thought. He remembered Lynns' words from earlier.

"So my sisters' think I'm a loser even after all the help I've given them over the years. Even my parents doubt me." he thought.

He then remembered the numerous times his sisters used and humiliated him over the years. How his parents always seemed to favor the girls over him, usually punishing him for the things the girls have done or given him worse punishment than the girls. Like the grocery store debacle, or the time he bought noise canceling headphones.

His sadness quickly gave way to anger and a renewed sense of determination.

"If my family thinks they'll be better off without me, then I guess I'll let them fend for themselves. And while they're busy dealing with their own problems I'll find something I'm good at and win a trophy. That will show them how much they need me and that I'm not a loser."

Thinking quickly Lincoln grabbed a pen and a pencil and began to brainstorm. He thought long and hard about where he could go and what he could do to prove himself. Eventually he came to a realization.

"It doesn't matter where I go without Lisa eventually finding me," he thought. He always suspected that Lisa had somehow placed trackers on him and his family and if he was right, then Lisa could find him in now time flat resulting in his family dragging him back home and him getting in even more trouble.

It only took a moment before Lincoln remembered something important.

Lisa's Dimensional Watch.

Memories of his trip to the Gender-Swapped universe quickly came to mind. Despite Lisa's claim that the whole thing had been a dream, he quickly learned that the whole thing had in fact been real by overhearing Lisa making an audio diary about the incident. While he was certain Lisa could find him wherever he was in this universe, he doubted she could find him in another.

That night, after everyone had gone to sleep, Lincoln snuck into Lisa and Lily's room. He quickly found the watch in one of Lisa's drawers, but failed to notice that there were several loose wires coming out of the back, indicating that Lisa was currently doing maintenance on the device.

Going back to his room, Lincoln quickly packed a bag with some clothes and made his way downstairs to the kitchen where he grabbed as much non-perishable foods as he could. Grabbing a slip of paper, he quickly wrote a note to his family, telling them not to look for him and that he will come back eventually.

Placing the note on the coffee table, he took Bun-Bun from his bag and left it by the note, quickly adding to the note that it belonged to Lily now.

Going outside, Lincoln took one last look at the home he's known for his entire life.

"Goodbye, Loud House. I'll be back as soon as I win a trophy." he said.

With that Lincoln activated the watch.

And stepped into the portal.
