Chapter 6: Kiki:
Chuckie's POV:
"I'm sorry, Kimi," I said.
"I can't believe you destroyed all my stuff," says Kimi.
"But I thought you hated your room and that stuff," I said.
"Why would you think that," asks Kimi.
"You said, 'I hate my room and that stuff'," I said.
"Oh," says Kimi, "well, I didn't mean it. I was just mad at my Dad for not sending me anything for Children's Day. I've been pushed aside for a younger, cuter, pinker model."
"Uh, Kimi, I just want you to know everything is going to be okay," I said.
"Sure, and the sun will come out tomorrow," says Kimi.
"Kimi, when your Mom married Dad, I was so happy," I said, "but remember that one time Mom and Dad were putting all their attention on you because they thought you were home sick for Paris?"
"Yeah," asks Kimi.
"I was so jealous, I even went with Angelica's suggestion and shipped you to the neighbors," I said.
"Oh, yeah! They gave me a cupcake," says Kimi.
"I didn't know my Dad had enough love for the both of us. A heart isn't like a room with walls that can't move- it expands to let in as many people as it needs to," I said.
"Wow, that's pretty deep. Did you make that up," asks Kimi.
"Nah. I heard it on a design show," I said. Kimi giggles. "The best part is I got a sister in the deal. I wouldn't trade her for anything."
"Thanks," says Kimi, "uuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh, Chuckie, does Dad know you stapled his rare record collection to the wall?"
"Rare," I asked.
"We're home," says Dad.
"Dad," asks Kimi. Then Kimi's biological dad showed up. "Dad!"
Kimi's biological dad has Black Hair with Blonde Highlights, Very Dark Chocolate Brown, and Warm Wheatish Toffee Ivory.
"Happy Children's Day, Kimi-chan. I hope you weren't too upset waiting to get your present, but here it is- a brand new baby sister," says Kimi's Dad.
Kimi's baby half-sister has Black Hair with Blonde Highlights, Very Dark Chocolate Brown, and Warm Wheatish Toffee Ivory.
"Oh, she's so tiny," says Kimi.
"Chuckie, just so you know, we weren't really taking ballroom lessons. Hiro asked us to help him find a place to live so they could stay a while," says Dad, "we even had Tohru help!"
"Wow, you really had me going there," I said.
"Everybody, this calls for a celebration," says Dad, "Kira, you break out the tempura and I'll put on some music." I knew I was going to be in trouble. "What happened to my Captain and Tennille? MY RECORD COLLECTION!"
The End
