Chapter 1: Yellow

Scathing eyes ask that we be symmetrical, one-sided, and easily processed. Yet every misshapen spark's unseen beauty is greater than it would be judgment.

I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. Blood dripped down my arm because my shoulder was bleeding. I had just escaped an abusive relationship with my husbands, Miguel and Tai Lung. My name is Lana, and this is my story in Remanent. I have brown curly hair, green eyes, and white skin. I wore T-shirts and leggings for my outfits. Right now, I'm wearing my Gwen Stacy cosplay hoodie.

Before we start the story, let me explain how I ended up in Remanent. I have a large family. I have 4 adopted dads, Po, Shifu, Mr. Ping, and Li Shan. I am married to Zhen, Tigress, and Tai Lung. I'm happily married to Zhen and Tigress but not to Tai Lung. Tai Lung forced me to marry him as part of his revenge because I was the Dragon Warrior. Tai Lung is very abusive. If I did one screw-up, he would beat me. He also made me follow these stupid rules that I was forced to follow. If I broke one, I would be punished.

Zhen is also married to Chameleon. Chameleon forced Zhen to marry her as well because it was to "Make up" for betraying her. Chameleon also abuses Zhen.

My best friends are the Furious Five, who are Monkey, Mantis, Crane, and Viper.

Now for the second half of my family:

I have biological parents in this family who are Miles and Gwen. I am married to Margo and Miguel. Margo and I are happily married but like Tai Lung, Miguel is abusive towards me. Miguel is married to Miles as well. Miguel forced us to marry him because he was holding us hostage a long time ago to ensure that we wouldn't disrupt a canon event. A way to ensure that we wouldn't disrupt it was that we married him.

I have an uncle, Uncle Peter who is Miles' best friend. My best friends are Hobie and Pavitr. Jessica Drew is my mentor. I have grandparents too, their names are Rio and Jefferson who are Miles' parents. Rio and Jefferson are also my legal guardians because they helped raise me in New York with my dad, Miles because Miles was a young teenager when he had me, as well as my mother, Gwen. I wasn't a planned birth. I was devastated when I found out that I was not planned, but my parents assured me that they loved me.

The reason why I ran away from home was because I couldn't handle the abuse any longer. Miguel was furious with me for breaking one of his rules, and so he beat me and punished me.

As I ran down the street, I realized I was lost. I didn't know where I was. I heard the roaring of a motorcycle in the distance. I looked and saw a girl with yellow hair, yellow clothing, and purple eyes. She was riding a yellow motorcycle. She stops in front of a club in that is blasting music. Maybe she could help me? I slowly walked up to the girl.

"Excuse me?" I said, a bit nervously. The girl looked at me and smiled.

"Oh, hi. Do you need something?" She asked me.

"Yes, uh... could you tell me where I am?" I asked.

"You're in Reamnent. We are in a kingdom called Beacon and the city we are in is Vale," The girl explained to me.

"Thanks. I'm uh, kind of lost. I ran away from home, I don't know how to get back to China," I said.

"China... I don't think we have a China in Reamnent," The girl said. "By the way, I'm Yang. Yang Xion Long."

"Nice to meet you, Yang. My name is Lana. Lana O'Hara," I said.

"Nice to meet you too. Where are your parents? You didn't come out here alone, did you?" Yang asked me.

"My dads are back in China. My wives are there too. I- I think I'm far away from home." I sobbed a little as I was explaining to her where my parents were. Yang put her hand on my shoulder.

"Don't worry. I'll help you find you're parents. Until we find them, you can stick with me," Yang said. I wiped my eyes.

"Thanks," I said. I followed Yang as she walked into the club. As we walked into the club, I could see a man wearing a white coat, had a black hat on, had orange hair and green eyes ending a conversation with another man. We make our way to the bar where the man stands.

"Strawberry Sunrise. No ice. Oh! And one of those little umbrellas," Yang said to the bartender.

"I'll just have some water," I said.

"Aren't you a little young to be in this club, blondie?" The man asks me and Yang.

"So you know who I am. You got a name, sweetheart?" The man asks.

"Yes, Junior, I've got several. But instead of sweetheart, you can just call me sir," Yang said angrily. She grabs his groin and squeezes it painfully causing Junior to cry out in pain comically. I cringed as I watched the scene.

"People say you know everything," Yang said as she brought up some sort of phone to his face, showing him a picture. "Tell me where I can find her and I'll let you go."

"I've never seen her before, I swear!" Junior cried.

"Excuse me?" Yang said angrily.

"I swear, sir!" Junior cried. Junior's henchmen begin to gather around. They got out their swords.

"Hmm, looks like we have an audience. This must kind of embarrassing for you, huh? Awkward..." Yang said with a smirk. Junior grunted as Yang continued to hold onto him. I didn't want to be a part of this, so I stayed back.

"Listen, blondie sir. If you want to make it out of this club alive, I suggest you let me go. Now!" Junior shouted.

"Yang, I think we should probably go now," I said. Yang lets go and Junior sighs in relief.

"You'll pay for that!" Junior shouted. He puts on his sunglasses and walks away from her. Yang follows closely behind. I followed Yang.

"Oh Junior, I was just playing with you! Don't be so sensitive! Come on, let's kiss and make up, okay?" Yang said. Junior stops and turns around.

"Huh? Okay..." Junior said. As they lean in, Yang punches him in the face, sending him flying across the room. My eyes widened. I didn't know how strong Yang was. Junior breaks through the glass and lands on the floor. Junior was dizzy and a bottle lands on top of his head. Yang loads up her weapon which was called Ember Celica. I didn't have any weapons, but I did have my web shooters with me. I loaded up my web shooters. The henchmen charged towards me and Yang. She jumps in the air and punches them down, sending them flying back.

Fire burst behind Yang's back. I watched with amazement as she took out all of the henchmen. I helped Yang take down some of the henchmen too. I shot my webs at them and used my electricity powers to take some of them out. Yang and I punched and kicked at the oncoming henchmen. The DJ who was wearing a bear mask began shooting at us. We dodged the bullets. Yang leaps up and kicks the DJ. Yang takes out the DJ in just a couple of punches.

"Wow, you're so cool, Yang!" I cried.

"I know," Yang said as she winked at me. Two twins who were wearing a red and blue dress walked up to us.

"Melanie, who are these girls?" The girl in the red asked.

"I don't know Milita, but we should teach them a lesson," Melanie said. Yang grunted in response. I watched as she took out the bullets from her weapon and loaded another belt of bullets into Ember Celia. Yang charges at the girls and shoots bullets at them. I followed behind Yang, shooting my webs at them. The girls dodged our shots. Yang kept shooting at the girls.

Melanie threw a kick at Yang. I nearly dodged a punch from Milita and punched her back. Both of the girls punched and kicked at Yang. Yang lands back but gets back up and charges at the girls again. Yang gives out a battle cry and punches Melanie. Milita and Yang punched and kicked at each other. Yang shoots bullets at Melanie as she dodges them. Melaine kept kicking Yang over and over as Yang kept dodging the kicks.

It was like they were having a dance-off competition. After a bit of a struggle, Yang was able to take out Melanie. Then, we came face-to-face with Junior who was carrying a big Bazooka.

"You're gonna pay for this," Junior says. As Junior shot the Bazooka, multiple bullets came firing towards us. Yang and I dodged the bullets. Yang shoots the bullets that are coming toward her with her weapon. Junior charges at us and hits us with the Bazooka. Junior hits Yang hard, causing her to fall back and break some glass.

Yang smirked and punched her hands together. Fire begins shooting out of her hair. I decided to stand back and let Yang take on Junior. Yang charges at Junior. Junior attempts to hit Yang but Yang is faster and punches at Junior. Yang punches at Junior over and over again. With one final punch, Yang's eyes turns red as she punches Junior to the ground. Yang grew angry when she sees that he has some of her hair. Yang slams her hands and screams as she charges at Junior. Yang punches Junior hard across the face and he goes flying out the window. Yang jumps out of the window. I followed her.

When we got outside, I saw a girl who was shorter than Yang. The girl had red and black hair, wore a black skirt, and had a cape. The girl also had silver eyes. The girl looked up at us.

"Yang?" The girl asked. "Is that you?"

Yang's eyes turned back to its normal color. "Oh! Hey sis!" Yang said happily.

"What are you doing here?" The girl asked. Yang sighed.

"It's a long story," Yang said. I looked at Yang's sister. She looked at me with curiosity.

"Who's she?" She asked.

"Oh! This is my new friend, Lana," Yang said.

"Hi," I said, a bit nervously.

"Hey. My name is Ruby Rose," The girl said.

"Lana is going to be joining us until she finds her family," Yang said.

"That's cool," Ruby said. Ruby and Yang decided to go home for the night. Yang said I was welcome to come home with them, so I followed them home. I met their dad, Tai Yang. Yang explained to him my situation and Tai Yang said I could stay as long as I needed. Tai Yang was nice to me. I liked him. When I sat down with Ruby and Yang, I told them my story.

I told them about the abuse that I have endured from my cruel husband's. I told them how I ran away, leaving my family behind because I couldn't handle the abuse anymore. Ruby and Yang pulled me in a tight hug when I finished telling them.

"I am so sorry that you went through that, Lana," Ruby said.

"No one should ever have to go through that," Yang said.

"Thanks, guys," I said. I wiped some tears in my eyes. I had a long day, so I went upstairs to go and rest. Ruby and Yang stayed downstairs and talked for a while. After a while, it was almost time for bed. I went downstairs to say goodnight to Ruby and Yang but they wanted to talk to me first before I went to bed.

"What did you guys want to talk about?" I asked.

"Well, Ruby and I have been talking... and..." Yang took a deep breath before continuing. "How would you like to be a part of our family?"

I looked at her in shock. Me, a part of their family? "Me?" I said.

"Of course. Ruby and I were thinking about adopting you as our daughter. If you want to that is." Yang said.

"Yes!" I shouted, jumping into Yang's arms. Yang laughed. "Thank you guys so much!"

"Welcome to the family, Lana," Ruby said.

"But wait, it's going to be confusing to call you both mom," I said.

"Hmm... how about you can call me Mom since I am older, and you can call Ruby Mommy since she is younger," Yang said.

"Mom, Mommy... I like that!" I said. Ruby and Yang smiled at me. I smiled back at them. For the first time in a long time, I felt happy.

A/N: Hey everyone, welcome to a new story! Yeah, I got eager and decided to start a new story, lol. This story will be a crossover with Kung Fu Panda and Spider-Verse. An important thing to note, I do not own any RWBY, Kung Fu Panda, or Spider-Verse characters. The only character in this story I own is my OC, Lana. Another thing I wanted to say is please do not criticize me about Ruby and Yang adopting Lana. I don't know why, but I have always thought of team RWBY and JNPR as my fantasy parents and I have had strong connections with them throughout the show. So please allow me to explore this fandom and have fun with the story.

I hope you all enjoy this story and please leave a review! Do be nice in the reviews though, that's all I ask. Thank you and until next time, have a wonderful day!
