Dear The Underland Chronicles Fanfiction Writers...

Letter 1

Disclaimer: I do not and will not ever own the Underland Chronicles. They belong to the wonderful author Suzanne Collins. If I did own them, I wouldn't be writing FanFiction, now would I?

Author's Note: I saw someone publish something similar to this in the Rise of the Guardians fandom, so I've decided to go ahead and make my own version for TUC, considering the fact that what I will write desperately needs to be addressed. This will feature some comedy, but is mostly a reminder to the authors here. This is in no way related to the Ares Is Alive timeline or the Reading the Underland Chronicles series.

Dear The Underland Chronicles Fanfiction writers,

Hi. I don't really know how to say this politely, so in my usual fashion, I'll just put it out there: I am not some broken little boy who can't handle his issues and ignores his family all the time. I love my family very much. I would not ever disrespect them by being a moody teenager all the time.

The issues I deal with now are pretty difficult, don't get me wrong, but I've gotten used to being a part of a family again. I rely on my parents just as much as they rely on me. Obviously, I can't go to therapy, but there are always other options. So when you write about what I've done after leaving the Underland, keep that in mind, yeah?

You all also seem to write about me mastering my Rager senses really easily. That's nothing like what Ripred taught me. He said it would take years and years and years. Two or three on a random farm in Virginia (that we might not even move to) isn't enough.

Also, while I do love Luxa, I'm not going to mope over leaving her 24/7. I'm not like that.

Sincerely, Gregor (and just Gregor, because I never told any of you my last name).

Here is the first of all the letters to be written. I figured it would be prudent to start off with our main character here.

Some others I plan to write: Grace, Howard, Ripred, Lizzie, Luxa, the council, and possibly Mrs. Cormaci, Gregor's dad, and Boots.

Happy reading!
