Recap

Last time on Demon Tamers: The gang met up with V as he told them they need to take out some root towers to slow the collection of blood to the Qliphoth. Oscar, Argo, Tanner and Matt went with Nero to take out the closest one. They were able to learn a bit about Nero past as they travel to the tower. Argo show off her skills as she took out a death scissors. They soon reach the tower and were confronted by a demon call Artemis. The fight was rough but they manage to defeat the demon and free the devil hunter Lady who was trap inside. Mean while The others were beginning their own mission.

Chapter 3

Who is V?

Kyle Pov: I found it strange that were in another world helping people to fight demon of all things. I mean why can't we ever have a normal day? But here we are in a city a demon cover city trying to save the world. We enter Redgrave to meet with Nero and V as we head to the Qliphoth. We thought it was best to split up to handle the root like towers to cut off it blood supply. Right now me, Rina, Marcus and Solene were with V as we were heading through the city. "So, V. You think this kid can kill Urizen?" Griffin ask referring to Nero. "We can only hope." V said. "If you don't mind me asking how did all this started to begin with?" I ask. V stop to look at us. "Well that quite the story, it started a long ago with the demon king Mungus. He use a Qliphoth to become the most powerful demon there is. He lead the armies of hell against the humans. It was thanks to the demon the dark knight Sparda who rebelled to fight for the humans. He was able to seal off the worlds to stop the demons." V said.

"So cool I want to meet him." Rina said excited. "Sadly Sparda is no longer with us, all that remains are his sons." He said. "His sons?" Marcus ask. "Yes twins Dante and Vergil, Dante became a hunter to kill any demon who step out of line, while Vergil became power hungry. 15 years ago he try to open the portal to the demon world but Dante stop him and Vergil was never heard from again. Or so we thought, he is the one behind this so to speak." V said as we came to an alley way. "I would say more but we have a more...pressing engagement" He said as a group of empusa appears to block our way. "Ah more giant bugs." Solene said as she hid behind Marcus. "Oooh, genius, says "be careful." Yeah, no shit, Shirley! Ain't that right, V? I mean you ARE fragile at the moment. Wouldn't take much to wipe you out in a sticky situation. I'm just saying running away is okay. It's always okay to run away, if you're not up for it!" Griffin said. V close his book.

" He who desires but act not breeds pestilence so it is written." V said as he got ready. "We got this let go Agumon." Marcus said as he ran forward and punch a empusa as ii slam into a wall. "Pepper breath!" Agumon shout as he shot a fire ball at one. One came at me as I swung my sword to slice in in half at the waist and then switch to gun mode to shoot at a few more. "Diamond shall!" Armadillomon shout as he curl into a ball to tackle thrust her hand out to shoot a blast of blue flames to torch a few of them. "Corona flame!" Coronamon shout as he shot his own flames to join his Tamer. Rina grab one of the bugs by it tail and slam it into the ground. "Vee kick!" Veemon shout as he kick another in the head. V sent out Griffon as the bird flew up to shoot lighting bolts to stun one as V they hit it with his cane to finish it. He then had Shadows his partner appears as it pounces onto one as V went to finish it. Once we were clear Marcus look at V with an odd look. "How could you didn't let your pets finish them off?" He ask.

"My familiars are strong but they lack the means to end our foes, while I by myself is weak to do any real harm." He said. 'So they soften them up for you to finish them." I said. "Indeed, now we should be off." V said as we continue to venture onward. " So you were saying before about these Dante and Vergil guys?" I ask. "Yeah you said this Vergil was behind what happening here." Veemon said. "Ah yes by not directly, Vergil was trap in the demon world for many years where he was found and taken over by Mungus. he force him to fight Dante 10 years ago on Mallet island. Vergil was defeated and when Dante defeated Mungus Vergil was set free. He wonder for some time wanting to get even with Dante. 5 years ago there was a matter in the city of Fortuna where a hell gate was open Vergil sword the Yamato was use to open it this allow Urizen to enter our world and plot his rise to power." V said. "Which is happening now, and Matadormon is helping him." I said. "And chances are he going to betray Urizen to get this fruit and become unstoppable." Marcus said.

'Not if we can help it." Coronamon said. "yeah let kick his ass!" Rina said as we pass through a building and drop down onto a train track. There we see more empusas waiting for us. "Great more of these varmints." Armadillomon said. "Allow me." V said as he held his hand up and Snap his fingers. Once he did his hair turn pure white as something clash into the ground in front of us. We saw it was a strange rock as black ooze pour out of it. It then rose up to turn into a large black figure with a single purple eye. "What the hell." I said in shock. "Nightmare attack." V order as the being know as Nightmare move forward. The empusas charge at the brute as Nightmare swung his large arms to knock them away. A few more came at him as the giant jump up to crush them under his feet. "We can't let him have all the fun." Rina said as she shot a few shot gun blast to pelt the demons. "Vee head butt!" Veemon shout as he slam his skull into one. I dodge a empusa claw strike as I kick it in the chest and then run my sword through it gut to slice upwards. "Beat buster!" Armadillomon shout as he slash his claws into one.

"Corona knuckle!" Coronamon shout as he punch one with a fire coated fist. Marcus and Agumon were boxing with the last of them to finish the group off. "Ok what the hell is that?" Marcus ask as we watch Nightmare went back into the ball and vanish. "That was my strongest Familiar Nightmare, unlike Shadow and Griffin he can destroy demon with no effort. This is what is call a devil triggers. It allow beings like myself to use our full demonic power." V said. "Can Mister Nero do this too?" Solene ask. "He could but his was incomplete and have yet to fully form it. But at last Urizen torn off Nero demonic arm that held the Yamato causing Nero to lose his demonic powers." V said. "Why are you just wandering around!? We're in a hurry, chop chop!" Griffin said. 'Bird boy right we need to move boss." Agumon said. "Right let get moving." Marcus said as we move to walk across a bridge. "Hey I can see the others." Rina said as she wave at the gang that were traveling on the flooded building below us.

"I think we pick the easier route." Veemon said. as we soon heard something. We look behind us as we saw that the bridge we were on was starting to collapse. "Oh no." I said as I gulp. "Run!" Coronamon shout as we start to run like hell to get to the other side. We move as fast as we can to reach the other end of the bridge as it came down. "Oh let do it again." Rina said with a mad grin on her face. "Rina I love you and all but no." I said as she gave that cute pout of hers. "Well that was something shall we go." V said as we kept going. As we move I look back to V. "You said Nero had Vergil sword the Yamato right? How did he get it?" I ask. "Recall what I said about Fortuna earlier. The city was run by the order of the sword a group that worship Sparda. I am unsure of the details but they manage to find the yamato but it was broken. Nero was somehow able to restore it as the order use it to open the hell gate." V said. "Which brought Urizen here, jeez talk about a mess." Marcus said. "You sure know a lot about all of this, did you help Dante in the past?" I ask as we came to a train station.

"A matter to discuss another time, we have arrive at our destination." He said. We look up to see the root tower in front of us. Hanging on it was a large ball like object. "So were here now what?" Armadillomon ask. But suddenly a large root with a purple snake like head shot out at us as we scatter. Two more came out along with an orange humanoid who waist was connected to the ball. It had long for arms and had black spikes coming out of him. "Talk about ugly." Agumon said. "You dodged me! did you dodge me!?" The demon ask. "Nidhogg, never liked this guy." Griffin said. "You pest. Do I know you?' Nidhogg ask. "Ok who is this creep?" I ask. "Dumb as a bag of rocks. Let's not even mess with this guy, gang He can't even leave the Qliphoth, anyway. Just a Qliphoth parasite." Griffin said. "Did you insult me?" Nidhogg shout. "Uh oh you made him mad birdy." Rina said. ": I'm going to kill you!" Nidhogg shout. "Not in this lifetime. "As the air to a bird or the sea to a fish, so is contempt to the contemptible." V said.

"Were taking you out!" Marcus shout as he punches the demon in the face to activate his DNA charge. "Let try this Armadillomon." I said as I took out a card. "Digi-modity Digivolvtion activate!" the other shout. "Digi-modify digi egg of knowledge activate!" I shout as I swipe the card through my D-arc.

Digmon was a gold armor bug man with purple marks on him. He has four arms with the upper ones ending with 3 sets of drills. He also have a drill for a nose. Solene check her D-arc. Digmon champion level armor Digimon. Know as the drill of knowledge he can drill through anything with his gold rush and rock cracking attacks.]" She said.

Tamers vs Nidhogg

Nidhogg sent the snake heads at us as we move to avoid them. They circle back as I touch the ground as I was able to take control of some of the roots in the area to intersect them. i can control demons plants too cool. "Time to trim this weed Gold rush!" Digimon shout as he shot his drills as they slam into A shake head taking it out. V sent pout Griffin as the bird flap his wings to shoot a lighting wave at the demon stunning him. "Rina kick!" Rina shout as she slam her boot into Nidhogg face hitting him with a explosion. A snake vine came at her while she fall to the ground. She flip around running along it to reach the ground. "Hammer knuckle!" Veedramon shout as he uppercut the vine taking it out. The last vine try to go for Firamon as Solene rode him. They fly around to dodge it. "Fira bomb!" The lion shout as he shot a fire ball to turn it to ash. "I will get you strange beasts!" Nidhogg shout as he came at us. We move top avoid his wild slashes as he try to hit us.

"Horn impulse!" Geogreymon shout as he head butted the demon to force him back. Shadow turn into a buzz saw to slices against him. This gave V the chance to jump onto the demon. ""The cut worm forgives the plow." What do you say?" He ask as he ram his cane through Nidhogg head ending him. We watch as the root tower falls apart to reveal something we didn't expected. It was a massive3 four leg metal demon. It legs were very long holing it large body high off the ground. It had a pair of small horns on it head. "Oh you got to be kidding me." I said as the Digimon turn back to normal. " Great just what we need." Marcus said. "Okay, um, that's not good right now. That's not good. Wait, where-where are you going? Are you running away? That, that's not a good sign." Griffin said ass we saw V was trying to leave. "That is a little more then I can handle like now." He said. 'But we can handle it." Rina said. But them the giant demon shot missiles from its back as they impact around us causing the ground to break under us as we fall into the blackness below.
