Chapter 7: Festival

Review Replies

carneyjarred: is it weird that i am imagining a plausible idea izumi taking one look at himiko and see a adorable starving kitten to adopt and with himiko who can copy quirks as well to a limited extent with awaken transform a possible apprenticed and obvious big sister for eri who is going to be adopted as well.

ThermalsniperN7: That's actually really wholesome. I like it.

Dragon Emperor0: Depends entirely on if we can figure out how to make it even work.

Knightmare Lord: I can already see Katsuki having a bitchin' mustache just like Escanor.

ThermalsniperN7: … Oh man, I'm seeing it too…

Dragon Emperor0: Wish I didn't.

Joanne Frances Tiano Cajilig: Wow, that was a brutal chapter and I'm glad nezu cares for the well being of his students...()

ThermalsniperN7: That's kinda his job, even if he's secretly plotting to take over the world (something I've seen in other stories).

Dragon Emperor0: Nah, he's too nice for that to be true.

PAC13L: No, it was another fanfic, which I haven't seen updated since last November.

ThermalsniperN7: Oh, okay. Thanks for clarifying.

Dragon Emperor0: Ah.

The sun shone through the windows of Izumi Midoriya's room, causing the girl to sigh in content as she rolled over in her sleep, laying her head on her beloved boyfriend, Katsuki Bakugo's chest.

"Mmm… Stupid sun… Go away…" She groaned sleepily, burying her face in her boyfriend's chest.

"Where the hell did you learn all those new positions?" The blonde questioned, recalling how the girl pulled out a bunch of positions and moves that he'd only seen on porn sites.

"Don't ask silly questions." Izumi groaned as she (reluctantly) woke up.

"Don't." The boy groaned, pulling her back down, causing his face to start motorboating her gorgeous bosom, which seemed much more supple than he remembered.

Izumi just let him do that, since she was still half asleep and didn't want to get up. As much as she wanted to spend the day in bed with her lover just cuddling with him, she had so much quirk related work to do.

"Katsuki, I need to get up. I have training I need to do." The girl sighed, trying to get loose.

"So do I, but I'm willing to save it for tomorrow. Too much bullshit too soon." The Pomeranian grumbled as he hugged her tighter.

Izumi let out a sigh as she stopped struggling. If there was anything her lover had the right idea about, it was that they had too much on their shoulders.

Maybe the training could wait a bit longer…

(Later)

Izumi sighed as she set up a blanket and umbrella on Dagoba beach for her to relax for the day.

She decided to dress down, wearing only a green bikini that did only an average job of covering her up, but even then—due to how voluptuous she was—it wasn't much.

"Man, we've had one hell of a time, lately…" She mused, recalling the shit-show that was the USJ attack. "Hopefully everyone is doing okay so far." She continued.

As the girl laid down on her blanket, she put on some shades and started to do some shaded sunbathing—when she heard several catcalls and wolf whistles being sent her way, just as she was starting to relax.

The source was a quintet of guys that called her from across the beach, playing volleyball.

"Hey there, sexy!" The leader, a guy with a crocodile quirk called.

"Why don't you come and have some fun with us?" A Tiger quirked guy added.

"Sorry, boys! I'm only here to relax!" She told them, much to their disappointment.

"Aw come on, don't be so snooty, booty!" A guy with a penguin quirk called, causing his friends to start snickering.

"I'm also off the market." Izumi deadpanned.

"Please. Any of us could easily be better than whatever loser you're dating." The last guy who had gills on his neck scoffed.

"Doubtful, but if you're willing to test that theory, I can call him right now." The girl purred as she rolled onto her side, waving her phone with a cheeky smirk.

"Alright, fine. Call him." The Tiger guy shrugged, which told Izumi they actually thought they were better than Katsuki.

These poor sweet summer children…

One dial later…

"Katsuki?" She asked.

"God, Izumi, you have no idea how grateful I am to hear your voice." The blonde sighed.

"Oh?" The girl smiled.

"I'm bored outta my skull right now." The boy replied.

"I know how to fix that; I'm at Dagobah Beach, and there's four guys who think they're better than you." Izumi told him.

"..." There was only silence before the call ended.

"He's on his way." The Boar Sin smiled.

The penguin guy was about to do something, but all four of them heard something coming their way fast.

" Mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine…!" A voice kept repeating as it got closer.

"What the fuck is that?" The alligator guy wondered.

"Mine mine mine mine mINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE!" The voice kept going before…

WHAM!

The tiger guy was sent flying by a strong punch, digging a trench along the beach before stopping after a few feet, much to the shock of the other boys.

"Mine." Katsuki smirked as he stood between them and Izumi, clad in black and orange swim trunks.

"What the-?!" The guys gasped in shock as they looked at Katsuki, whose hands were bursting with sparks at random.

"I heard you pricks were hitting on my girlfriend! Newsflash, dumbasses: SHE'S MINE!" The boy bellowed.

"Heh, tough words, coming from a first year." The crocodile guy chuckled.

"Oh, so you actively want me to kick your asses; Okay, I can work with that." Katsuki smirked as Sunshine kicked in.

Seconds later…

BAM! WHAM! CRACK! POUND! THUD!

The guys were soon all laying on the ground in a heap, beaten to a pulp.

"Hmph. Not even a challenge." Katsuki huffed as he powered down and sat next to his Boar Sin girlfriend.

Izumi had laid back to watch and couldn't help but let an aroused smile creep on her lips, her hand on her ample bosom as her boyfriend looked down at her.

"That was… really hot." The girl muttered.

"And you look like a plump fruit ready to be devoured." Katsuki grinned as he spooned his girlfriend, kissing her fiercely.

Izumi moaned as she made out with her significant other, not even giving a care to the four idiots that were unconscious in the sand.

It was the next day and everyone was going back to class, with Izumi in particular being covered nearly head to toe in hickies and bite marks.

Everyone in class noticed it, too.

"... Do I even need to say anything about Midoriya's current state?" Sero commented with a blink.

"It's obvious that she and Bakugo went absolutely buck fucking wild yesterday." Mineta nodded.

"Yeah, can't really say anything against that one." Jiro conceded since the signs were too obvious.

"You know I can hear you, right?" The greenette deadpanned. "My sex life is none of your business." She added.

That made everyone clam up on that topic, allowing a new topic to be brought up.

"I wonder who our substitute is gonna be?" Mina wondered as she leaned back in her chair.

"Yeah. Especially since Aizawa-sensei is still in the infirmary." Tsu added.

"If you ask me I say we shouldn't even be here." Katsuki grumbled.

"Tell me about it…" The Boar Sin sighed in agreement.

It was then that the doors opened, allowing a bandaged up Aizawa to walk in through the door.

"Good morning, class." The man mumbled.

"Okay, how are you up and walking?" Izumi questioned, and the rest of the class wondered the same thing.

"Recovery Girl cranked up her efforts to get me walking again, at the very least." The man shrugged in reply. "Plus, I don't have the luxury of a break from work." He added.

"Bullshit. That's borderline cruel and unusual punishment!" The Pomeranian barked.

"Tell me about it…" Aizawa murmured in agreement since despite his rationality, he still thought it was bullshit himself. "Anyway, you all might have survived the USJ, but it's not over yet." He told the class, causing them to tense.

"You gotta be kidding me…" The Sin of Gluttony groaned.

"Not more bad guys…!" Mineta gulped.

"The UA Sports Festival is coming up." The Erasure Hero told them.

"Oh thank fuck…" Izumi breathed in relief.

"Don't scare us like that! We still have some PTSD from the USJ!" Kaminari exclaimed indignantly.

"Given what happened, I'm surprised some of us are still here…" Ojiro groaned.

"Wait, is it really such a good idea to have the Sports Festival so soon after what happened?" Ochako questioned, the image of Izumi being captured in the Quirk prison cube still vivid in her mind.

"I understand the concern, but this is important for not just you, but for the nation." The erasure hero told them. "The country saw what happened at the USJ, and that means we need to show them we're still in control. The Sports Festival will show them that all of you are not only fine, but still in the fight." He continued.

"It'll also show the villains how we tick, which is a major downside to fighting them." Izumi stated.

"But a common issue we'll see as pros." Momo countered.

"This is such a pain." Katsuki groaned.

"All of those points are valid, but this is needed, all the same." Aizawa continued. "This is one of the most important moments in your future careers. You have three chances throughout your tenure at UA; Don't mess it up." He added further.

"Yes sir." The kids nodded.

(Later)

"Honestly, with how much training I'll be doing before the festival—I'm glad I took yesterday off." Izumi sighed, laying her head down on her desk.

"Yeah. It feels like we're going into a meat grinder." Kaminari groaned in agreement.

"You guys just don't know how to do a good workout." Katsuki sighed, leaning back in his seat.

"I think you forget how much you give me workouts." The Boar Sin quipped in reply.

"Wall banging doesn't count!" The boy chortled.

"We don't need to hear about your sex lives!" Momo yelped with a blush.

"You're just jealous cuz you can't get some." The blonde retorted.

"Can you not?!" Sero groaned in exasperation.

It was later in the day, around lunchtime, Izumi was making her way to the cafeteria with Iida, Tsu and Ochako—Katsuki having gone with Kirishima, Sero, Mina and Kaminari, unofficially known as the Bakusquad—when the Boar Sin recalled something she wanted to to talk to Ochako about.

Upon finding her, she decided to bring her topic up.

"Ochako, you seemed pretty determined when everyone was talking about winning." The Sin of Gluttony noted. "What was up with that?" She asked.

"Oh… That." Ochako gulped awkwardly. "It's… pretty cliche, and I was worried you'd think less of me." She continued.

"How would we know that if we don't even know what it is?" Izumi questioned.

"Well… I'm in this for the money." The brunette admitted.

"Well that's more tame than what I got. I'm in this for the quirks I can copy." The Boar Sin shrugged. "Hardly altruistic of me at all really, so I have no right to judge you." She added.

"Oh… Right. Forgot about that for a moment." The gravity girl blinked. "But… The truth is, I want to get money for my parents. They own a construction company, but we don't have much business so we're flat broke. So I want to make enough money so that they can have an easy life." She added.

"Why are they doing so poorly at construction?" The multi-quirked girl wondered.

"Clients keep extending deadlines so they keep losing money, so now no one will hire us because we lost our reputation." The brunette replied.

"Unbelievable." The Boar Sin sighed. That's when it hit her. "Wait, you wanna become a pro heroine so you can use your quirk to lift all the material without the need for construction equipment!" She gasped in realization.

"That's exactly what I told them! But… They told me that they didn't want me to concern myself with them." The gravity girl replied.

"Ugh… Their selflessness is commendable, but they need to realize that you genuinely want to help them." Izumi groaned, facepalming.

Iida could only hum in agreement at this.

"Ha ha ha! Young Midoriya, is here!" All Might exclaimed as he suddenly appeared.

"Oh, hi All Might. Need something?" The Boar Sin asked casually.

"Lunch!" The man replied as he held up a bento box… That was wrapped in a blue cloth with bunnies on it. "You wanna eat with me?" He offered.

"PFFFFFT! That is adorable!" Ochako snorted in amusement.

(Elsewhere)

Katsuki's eye twitched as he nearly shattered the bowl of his rice portion.

"Uh, you okay dude?" Kaminari questioned.

"Yeah, you look like your fuse just got lit." Kirishima nodded..

"I just felt like someone just tried to get cozy with Izumi…" The blonde grumbled before he started eating his spicy tofu. "Meh, it's probably nothing." He shrugged.

(Later)

Back with Izumi, she sat down in the teachers lounge with her lunch, All Might fixing them some tea.

"How have you been since the USJ?" The man asked as he finished the tea.

"Fine so far." The Boar Sin shrugged. "It helps that my beloved boyfriend went out of his way to comfort me." She mused with a smile.

"Yeah, having someone like that can be helpful." The blonde nodded as he poured their tea into their cups, handing his successor hers.

"How have you been?" The girl asked.

"My time limit is getting shorter. I'm afraid I don't have much more time left." The man explained.

"Then I think it's time I let you in on a secret of mine." Izumi told him.

"What do you mean?" Toshinori questioned.

"You mentioned that One for All had an antithesis, All for One." The Boar Sin replied. "Well I actually met someone with such a quirk years ago. He altered my quirk to what it is today and allowed me to copy quirks that he'd… Acquired over the years." She continued, holding up her hand. "But what he didn't realize was that I copied his quirk as well." She added.

"Wait, are you saying that you not only met with All for One, but you…?!" The No. 1 Hero gasped in shock, eyes wide.

"Yep. I copied the quirk, All for One." Izumi confirmed with a nod. "And during the USJ attack, I copied Nomu's quirks, and stole one of them." She explained. "Specifically Super Regeneration." She continued. "And I'd like to give it to you." She added.

"You think it'll help me heal?" All Might questioned.

"I don't think; I know." The Boar Sin corrected as she held up a hand, conjuring a white orb that represented the quirk she was offering. "The choice is yours." She told him.

"If you think it'll work… go ahead." The man nodded.

Izumi then sent the quirk into her mentor's body, and the change was immediate. The blonde hero grunted as he felt his wounds heal and his organs regrow themselves, the process bringing him a bit of pain, but he knew how to take pain. Then it stopped.

Lifting up his shirt, the Symbol of Peace saw that his scar was nothing but a faded outline. Taking a breath, he felt no pain.

"It worked… I can't believe it worked!" The man grinned in surprise.

"I'm just glad that I could make good on my promise." Izumi sighed in relief. "That all aside, I doubt you brought me here just to eat lunch… Though I certainly wouldn't mind if that were the case." She amended, having started to really grow fond of her mentor beyond being his fan.

"You'd be right." All Might nodded in reply. "I'm sure you're aware that the Sports Festival is around the corner." He began.

"Yes, I'm aware of that elaborate information leak." The Boar Sin remarked, still finding the Sports Festival hazardous in her eyes.

"Well this festival is something the entire school—no—the entire country will be watching." The man said. "So I want you, Izumi Midoriya Boar Sin of Gluttony, to announce yourself as the new symbol of peace—and proudly say 'I am here'!" He told her, standing.

Despite her reservations, Izumi found herself smirking as she formed a Dawnblade.

"I need no more prompting." She declared.

"Glad to hear it." All Might smiled as they sat down. "Though I realize that this entire festival may be rather awkward for you, having to compete against your friends and classmates, including your significant other." He amended.

"It's unfortunate, but unavoidable in the line of work we want to get into." The Sin of Gluttony sighed. "So I'm prepared to do what I have to." She told him.

"Glad to hear it." Her mentor smiled.

(Later)

Izumi sighed as she and Katsuki walked home together after the two parted ways with their respective friend groups, the girl leaning on her boyfriend's shoulder.

"The sports festival… I really hope it doesn't drive a wedge between us." The Sin of Gluttony sighed.

"Tell me about it. The competitive nature is only fun when it doesn't ruin friendships and relationships." Katsuki groaned in agreement. "It's bad enough we're gonna have to compete with other classes, who are gonna have it out for us, too." He added.

"Exactly." The girl nodded. "… But I think we're mature enough to not let our love become strained by a simple competition—even if it is important." She sighed, hugging her boyfriend close, kissing his neck.

"So true." Katsuki nodded as he held her close. "In fact, how about I show you right now?" He offered with a purr.

"Please do." The Sin of Gluttony smiled as Katsuki picked her up bridal style and carried her away.

Dragon Emperor0: Hey guys. Here's the in-between chapter for the sports festival and the USJ attack. Just so you know, the interaction with the other students is being moved to the next chapter, in case you're wondering. But that can wait for later.

ThermalsniperN7: Plus, I'm having an off day with my mind growing fatigued, which isn't a good thing to do large chapters with. I'd basically kick the bucket if this dragged out any longer.

Dragon Emperor0: Yeah. I don't really want this to drag out either, so we'll save the commentary for later. So, with that in mind, see you all next time.
