Due to being pull through a dimensional rift, the Tamers found themselves scatter across many worlds. Marcus, Oscar, Argo, Solene, Matt, Kyle, Tanner and Rina found themselves in the city of Red grave as it over run by demons as they must aid the devil hunter Nero in saving the city. Section 5 of part 1.

4. Demon sword Sparda

Hello and welcome to the next chapter of Demons Tamers. Today the gang will finish the root towers as they head for the Qliphoth. So let get right to the action. Disclaimer: I don't own any of the anime, books or games mention in this story. they all belong to their respected Creators. Now on with the show!

Recap

Last time on Demon Tamers: Marcus group set out with V to hand the next root tower as the mysterious man reveal the history of Sparda, his sons and Nero to the Tamers. They travel through the city facing any demon in their way as they learn more from V. They soon came to the tower to find a demon call Nidhogg latching onto it. They were able to defeat the parasite and destroy the tower to find a massive demon waiting for them. The demon attack them causing them to fall into the underground below the city.

Chapter 4

Demon sword Sparda

Marcus Pov: After that giant blast missiles at us, we end up falling down a hole. I was on my back as Solene landed on my chest. "You ok?" I ask as I held her up. "I'm ok mister Marcus, what about you?" She ask. "I'm fine no need to worry." I said. "Man that was a close one." Kyle said as he held Rina up. "Oh man were in a yucky sewer and I just got these boots." Rina said annoy. "We're alive! We've made it! It's our lucky day, V! Let's find a game of cards." Griffin said. "I don't think we have time for that bird boy." Agumon said. "These Qliphoth roots... they're everywhere." V said as we saw several roots in the tunnels. "Man this reminds me of Algomon all over again." I said not liking this. "What an Algomon?" Griffin ask. "A Digimon that try to drain the life out of people, Me and Agumon fought one awhile back." I said. 'Then the mean plant guy came back and me and Vee vee kick his ass." Rina said with a grin. "What more he was part of a larger threat to make things worst but were able to over come it." Coronamon said.

"But we were able to over come that too." Armadillomon said. "Any way we should keep moving and take out these roots." Veemon said. "Then I guess we have some clearing up to do." V said. "And me without my gardening sheers." Griffin said as we got moving. We walk through the swears trying to find a way out. Man these stupid roots are everywhere. it making it hard to get through. We soon came to a wall of roots blocking our path. "Can't move forward without breaking through these.." V said. "What that?" Solene ask as she pointes at a red bluge on the root. "Look to be a blood clot of sorts." Kyle said. "Hm I wonder." V said as he sent shadow to slice the clot as it burst, we watch the roots dies and turn to dust opening the way. "Cool weed killer." Rina said with a grin. We kept moving until we soon enter a warehouse of sorts. "Where are we?" I ask. "Hm appears to be the underground store house, this means were underneath the Red grave ship yard." V said as we felt the ground shaking. "What was that?" Agumon ask worry.

"Chances are the giant demon we saw is stomping around above us. Ahhh, he's throwing a tantrum up there! Watch the ceiling." Griffin said as part of the ceiling broke as the demon leg fell in. It swing around wildly as we move to avoid it. "Beat it Spit fire blast!" Agumon shout as he shot the fire blast at the leg making the demon cry out as it pull it leg up. "Good work Agumon." I said as my partner nods to me. "We need to be careful in case it try again." Coronamon said as we got moving we soon came to a large area with several empusa drinking from a blood pool. "Only a couple of empusas, we can take them." Kyle said. "Don't be so sure of that Kyle." Veemon said. We watch as what look like a giant empusa walk into the area. It was 3 times as big with a row of red eyes and had scythe like blade for arms. It scare off the other Emusas as it went to drink from the blood pool as it eyes started to glow. "A Empusa queen didn't expect that." V said. "Oh can we fight it?" Rina said as she held up a card. "I want to try another armor card with Vee Vee." She said.

"Be our guest greenie, don't cry when that bug eat you." Griffin said. Rina and Veemon walk out as they face the empusa queen as it saw them. 'Ok buggy time to get stomp Digi-modify Digi-egg of sincerity activate!" She shout as she slash the card as Veemon glows green.

Armor Digivolvtion

Veemon armor digivolve to Yasyamon

Yasyamon was a humanoid Digimon with blue and white skin. He wore white pants with wooden gloves and wood board guards on his hands. His face was cover with a white mask with horn that show his red eyes and hair. He was holding two wooden training swords. Kyle check his D-arc. "[Yasyamon champion level armor Digimon. He is a fierce fighter with his graceful attacks as he take you out with is double strike attack.]" He said.

Rina and Yasyamon vs the Empusa Queen

The giant bug cry out as it charges at them. Rina jump over it as it try to bite at her to land on it back. She grin as she started to punch at it blasting it. The queen shook her off as it swung it blade at her. Yasyamon suddenly appears as he was able to block the bug with his sword. "I don't thing so." He said as he back flips to slam his foot into the demon chin making it step back. The empusa jump into the air even with it large body to dive at them. "Vee Vee!" Rina call of as her Digimon nods and place his sword together in a cross shape. Rina use them to jump up and she aim a kick at the demon face landing an shotgun blast to it face making it clash to the ground. Yasyamon soon ran at it as his swords glows. "Double strike!" He shout as he land an x shape slash slicing the insect into fourths as it dissolves. He turn back to normal as he and Rina high five. "Impressive, you would make a fine devil hunter." V said. "Were huntsmen this is normal for us." Kyle said. "Any way we should keep moving." Coronamon said.

We head deeper in the store house until our path was block by more roots. "Great there got to be another blood clot near by." I said. "I got it." Kyle said as he shot a t the clot taking it out as the roots die off. "Hey, what's in that hole? Should we take a look?" Griffin said as we saw a hole. "Better them nothing." Armadillomon said. We head down the hole to end up in a tunnel. From there we were able to find a path back to the surface. We continue on until we came to a arena of sorts to see a pair of demons there. One look to be a giant bird with what like 3 black hair women fuse together on it back with a cauldron in front of them. The other was a large grey and black knight like demon holding a purple spiral like sword that crackle with purple lighting. He was riding on a large blue and grey horse like demon. "Who are they? I ask. "Well bird brain is Malphas she a nasty witch very troublesome, the other one I have no idea never seem him before." Griffin said. "It his mount I'm more concern with, it a Greyon, It a type of Horse demon that can control time. And this one an elder one as well." V said.

"Great just what we need." I said. "Search for the devil sword Sparda. You know where it is? He told me to leave it be, but I'm afraid it still concerns me. As long as there is a blood descendant of Sparda... I cannot take any chances. Do you understand!? Find it and destroy it! Only then will his reign be truly realized! " Malphas said to the knight as a large purple portal open in front of her as she walk through it and vanish. With her gone we step out to take out the Elder greyon knight. V look at the knight and smirk. "I see. I know what you are. Don't worry, I'll be gentle." V said. "What you on about?" I ask. "Not important let us get to work." He said. I shurg as I charge at the knight. He try to swing at me as I punch his weapon to activate my DNA charge. "Let go." I said. "Digi modify Digivolvtion activate/DNA charge!" We shout.

Tamers vs Elder greyon knight

Geogreymon charges forward at the knight as the horse let out a cry as it shot a blue ball of light out. The ball slam into Geogreymon and expand into a down causing the dinosaur to move in slow motion. The knight then charge and tackle my partner down. Damn that time power is cheap. The knight started to shoot lighting bolts from his sword at us. We quickly move to dodge them. "Fira dive!" Firamon shout as he coat himself in flames and slam into the horse side to make it slide back. The knight was about to strike as roots shot up trapping him. "Go Ankylomon." Kyle said as his Digimon ran toward the knight. "Megaton tail!" He shout as he swung his tail make at him. The knight horse suddenly vanish to appears on the other side of the arena. He then shot a lighting blast to knock Ankylomon down. Rina somehow got on the horse back as she tap the knight back as he turn to look at her confuse. "High can I drive." She said as she blast him in the face. This make him frails around as Rina jump off. "Vee breath arrow!" Veedramon shout as he hit the knight in the chest with a flame blast.

V sent out Shadow as the panther shot several spikes from his back to strike the knight. The knight vanish to reappear away from us. He held up his sword as purple lighting bolt start to rain down around us. "We need to finish this." I said. "Agree, would you and your partner care to assist me." V said as He summon Nightmare behind him. "What you got in mind?" I ask. "Wait for him to charge and attack with me, then I'll handle the rest." V said. I nod as we got ready. Geogreymon step next to Nightmare. The knight let out a cry as his horse came at us in a mad charge. "Now!" We shout. "Mega burst!" Geogreymon shout as he shot his fire beam. Nightmare slam his hands onto the ground as he shot a purple laser out of his eye. The two attacks combine and slam into the knight knocking him off his horse. V use this to get above the horse and stabs his cane through it head. It cry out as it die and a piece fell off of it. It dissolves as the knight turn to run out the back of the arena as the door cave in letting it get away.

V soon fall to his knees. "Are you ok mister V?" Solene ask as we gather near him. "I'm fine... I must chase him. If the devil sword Sparda still exists, it may be our only hope." He said. "What the deal with this sword?" Kyle ask. "Long ago Sparda seal the gate to the demon world. When he die he left behind his sword the force edge. It hold all of Sparda power, Vergil try to obtain it years ago. Dante defeat him and Vergil and the sword were lost to the underworld. Dante reclaim the sword when he defeat Vergil again on Mallet island years ago and force edge turn into the devil sword Sparda. With it power we can defeat Urizen." V said. "V, uhhh, think about this for a minute. What will you do if you find it? You gotta be strong in mind and body to wield the Sparda, and you, sir, are neither. Hate to break it to ya, but the Sparda will be just too much for ya." Griffen said. "Me no but what of the boy Nero." V said as he pick up the piece of the Greyon. "You think Nero can use it?" Veemon said.

'We can only see, Let's go. Once we are near the Sparda, even I should be able to sense its presence." V said. "We should meet up with the others first to see what going on." I said. "Very well." V said as we got moving. Matt Pov: After our run in with Artemis and freeing Lady from it, we regroup at Nico van at a ship yard to recover from the fight. Lady lay on the couch with a blanket to cover her bare form. "Well she ain't dead. Got a pretty smoking' body though." Nico said as we roll our eyes. " Not the time Nico, so this Lady is one of your friends Nero?" I ask. "Yeah, she one of Dante partner along with Trish, the 3 help me out during the mess in Fortuna 5 years ago. What more I thing she have a thing for Dante. They were with us when we first fought that bastard Urizen last month. To think she was turn into a demon." Nero said. 'It was more like she was put into that demon to power it, either way, when she comes too she can tell us what happen to your pals." Argo said.

"Any info on the situation would be good for us, Nero how this get started any way?" Oscar ask. "Urizen in human form attack me at my garage and tore off my demon arm to get the demon sword Yamato. It how he brought this stupid tree here. Now I want payback." Nero said with a growl. "What about Matadormon? That fucker is helping this Urizen creep right?" Tanner ask. "You mean that clown looking guy, yeah he was there, he was annoying as hell. He only stood by as Urizen kick our asses." Nero said. "I want to know how he return, Tanner and Pulsemon destroy him a year ago." Vorvomon said. "We know we did, he got what coming to him for messing with Keisuke." Pulsemon said. "Then we are going to kick his ass again." I said. But then the door to the van flung open as someone burst it. "Dante where the hell are you!" A girl voice shout. We saw it was a girl about 18 with long blonde hair with blue eyes. She wore a white blouse with a blue skirt. She had a pink hoodie and black stocking with pink boots.

"Patty!" Nero shout shock. "You know her?" Oscar ask. "Uh yeah she this girl that Dante been caring for since she was 8 until she went to live with her mom. She tends to drop by every now and again." Nero said. "Yep see Dante is like a dad to me bedsides someone have to make sure he stays out of trouble." Patty said. Nero sighs. 'Why are you here, hell how did you even get her? Nero ask. 'The young lady had help of course." A voice said as two new people came in. One was a woman with dark skin and long red hair that was tie into a braid. He eye was blue as she wore a black top and pants with boots. She have a white shoulder cape on her right arm and a pair of curve swords on her hips. The other was a woman with short black hair and blue eyes. She wore a black body suit that hug her body with black feather around her neck and shoulders. I notice she had a pair of large blue pistols on her hips with a second set on the back of her heels. "And things get stranger." Argo said.

"Lucia, Bayonetta your here too?" Nero ask. "More friends of yours?" Tanner ask. "Sort off, Lucia is another devil hunter that Dante help in the past." Nero said. "Indeed, he help me save my home from a man trying to take a demon power to be immortal." The red head Lucia said. 'As for me, well I'm an Umbra witch. We tend to make contract with demons to use them in battle. Me and Dante dance a few times on jobs. He surely know how to show a girl a good time." Bayonetta said with a grin. "So why are you guys here?" I ask. "When I heard that Dante and the others went missing I was worry. This pass month had me scare and I could take it any more. So I talk to Morrison as he pointed out when you guys went to. I was in Dante shop getting ready to leave when I bump into Lucia." Patty said. 'She explains what was happening so I agreed to be her escort to find Dante. We happen to run into Bayonetta on the way here." Lucia said. "I was taking some time off after the recent mess I got in when I heard about what happening in Redgrave and stumble onto these two." Bayonetta said.

She cross her arms and chuckles. 'When I heard that Dante got himself in trouble I couldn't resisted coming along." She said. "Well were happy for more help." Oscar said. "So who are all of you you don't look to be devil hunter event with your weird pets." Patty said as she spot Herissmon. She let out a cry as she suddenly hug the little hedgehog. 'Oh your so cute." She said. "if we can get to the point at hand folks, we got a killer house plant to crush." Nico said as the ground started to shake. 'What the heck." Argo said. "Oh mine check out this big boy." Bayonetta said as we look out the window. Stomping around the boat yard was a giant demon. It look like it was made of metal as it walk on 6 long legs. It head have horns as it let out a roar. 'It appears to be a Gilgamesh, never thought to see one of these." Lucia said. "Either way we need to take it out, let go ultimate." I said as we set out to face the demon. "What can you kids do against that." Bayonetta said. 'Just watch lady." Argo said. "Digi-modify Matrix Digivolvtion activate!" We shout.

Tamers vs Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh look at us as he shot what look like missile from his back toward us. Nero quickly whip out his gun as he shot a few of them down. I drew my shot gun as he fire as shot as it ricochet off a missile to exploding it to take out the rest. "Wild blast!" Lavogaritamon shout as he got above the demon to hit it with a fire blast. The demon roars as he jump to ward us. Oscar got onto his partner as Stefillmon jump into the air. "Giga crimson dive!" He shout as he spun into the demon side pushing it back. Argo use her whip her swing up the Gilgamesh to get on it back. She ran at it head to stabs her claws at it. Suddenly spike pop out of it back forcing her to jump off and land on Chirinmon back. "Shit almost got the point." She said. "Then let show it ours Wind cutter sword!" He shout as she shot past Gilgamesh slicing it up. We saw Bayonetta run past us as she went for the demon legs as she started to spin around it underside sending a barrage of bullets from all of her guns at it.

This got it attention as it try to stomp at her. Tanner grab her as he use his semblance to move then back. "My quiite the gentlemen." She said with a smirk. "Violent lighting!" Boutmon shout as he shot a light blast at the demon. It roars as it deploy a pair of tendrils as they shot energy bursts at us. We move to dodge them to avoid getting hit. Lucia went at a leg as she slash her swords making it stumble. Suddenly the ground under the demon feet gave a way as one of it legs fell in. "Now our chance guys." I said. 'Nero there a weak spot on it back take it out." Argo said. "Well give you an opening." Oscar said as the demon was getting up. "Vermillion vortex!" Stefillmon shout as he shot his spikes to pelt the demon. It fire missiles to counter. 'Holy ray!" Chirinmon shout as he shot the lasers. That distract it as Lavogaritamon tackle into it. I use this to deploy my sword as it glows hot and slash at it right front cutting it off. It try to move as Boutmon land an ax kick to it skull. Lucia threw several daggers at it back legs keeping it down.

"My turn." Bayonetta said as she say a chant of sorts I couldn't understand as a portal appears behind her. Coming out of it was a large dragon like head as it bit into the demon leg holding it down. Nero use this to run at Gilgamesh back as he change his metal arm to the red one Nico made earlier. He thrust it forward as it shot off like a rocket and slam into a pink mass of flesh and shatter it to a pulp. We watch as Gilgamesh cries out as it felt apart to bits. Nero sat down on a piece of rumble. "This thing a root too?" He ask. " Look like it just what is going on here?" I ask. That when Nico drove up to us. "Yo Lady awake if you got question now the time." She said sticking her head out the window. "Good to here I want to know what the head is going on." Argo said. "Agree, I wish to know what became of Dante." Lucia said. 'Oh wait pick that up." Nico said. I look at my feet to see a piece of the demon we just killed. I pick it up. "You mean this?" I ask. "Yep I bet I can make something nice out of that." She said as I toss it to her.

"Come on we should talk to Lady." Nero said as we enter the van to move to a safer spot to talk. Let hope we can learn something useful here.

Argo: Well Lady lay the deets down on us as we decided to head to the Qliphoth to settles things with the big bad. Next time on Demon Tamers: United front. Oh were in for a time.

And that is it for the chapter folks. Now I brought in Lucia be cause I thought she was interesting. Patty because she just awesome how she mess with Dante. And Bayonetta I felt that both series were too much alike so I combine them into one. Any way next time the gang will head to the demon tree. Stay tune to find out what happen next.
