It is its own story.

Enjoy^^

I remember that summer...

Clearer than any other...

"By the special effect of my Thunder Dragon in hand, I can discard it to the graveyard to add any other Thunder Dragons from my deck into my hand!" The brunette's bob bounced as she took dynamic actions in preparations to summon her greatest beast.

"It just so happens I have two~" she stated, "And that's not all I have in store for you!" she huffed, "I will activate the power of Polymerization in order to Fuse my two Thunder Dragons in order to create, Twin headed Thunder Dragon!"

Twin Headed Thunder Dragon: *******

ATK: 2800
DEF: 2100

A Low whistle sounded from the opponent she faced. A blue haired male with arms folded across his chest.

"That's quite the beast." the boy blinked, "But I'm afraid it...and my Cyber Twin Dragon have the same attack strength." he stated, "So what will you do?"

"Nothing to worry about!" said the brunette, "Because I activate a spell card called Kishido Spirit!" she stated, "By equiping it to my Twin headed Thunder Dragon, then he can no longer be destroyed by a monster who's attack is equal!" she declared, "Now prepare yourself for my attack!"

'Hmm...a good move." he smirked, "But not good enough!" he stated, "I activate De-Fusion!"

As the girl sent her dragon forward, the initial target had dissipated, splitting back into two, reverting her beast back to start, having had no target to destroy.

"What on earth would you do that, for!?" she asked.

"Simple." said the male before her, "WIth your monster's target no longer on the field, your attack can't land." he stated.

"Well yeah, but now you have two monsters on the field both a great deal weaker than mine!" she stated, "All I have to do is continue with my battle phase and destroy any one of them...and I'll win!" she grinned, feeling triumphant that for once she was going to defeath the reigning young Champion of the Junior Tournament.

"GO!"

But the boy simply smirked.

"What's so funny?" she asked.

"I'll tell you." he said to her, "I'm about to win."

"What!?"

"I activate Negate Attack!"

"No!"

With the battle phase forced to an end, she had no other moves she could make...and so...was forced to end her turn.

"FIne!" she huffed, "I'll just end you on my next turn!"

"I'm sorry, Mia." said the blue haired male, "But I'm afraid you don't have a next turn."

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"Hmph..." the boy smirked, "I activate the spell card, Power Bond!" he stated, "With it, I will fuse the two Cyber Dragons, with a third Cyber Dragon in my hand to create Cyber End Dragon!"

"What!? 8000 Attack points!?" Mia had gasped, "But that's enough to wipe me out!"

And wipe her out he did.

With the power of Power Bond, the original attack of his Cyber End Dragon was doubled, more than enough to wipe out her life points with one attack on her Twin Headed Thunder Dragon.

"And Once again our reigning Junior Champion: Zane Truesdale! But what a close Duel it was!" said the announcer, "Coming in second we have Hastings! And in Third-Chazz Princeton! Thank you for joining us today for the annual Junior Tournament!"

"Third AGAIN!" an ash haired male huffed, "This isn't over Mia!" he stormed off the stage leaving a down hearted brunettte.

"I can't believe I lost..." Mia sighed, her soft brown bob barely brushing against her cheeks as her blue eyes narrowed in defeat.

"It was a close Duel." said Zane, "Had your attack landed, you would have won." he said with a smile as he held out his hand, "You should be proud..."

"Yeah..." she said softly, and shook the hand that was offered to her, "...Thanks."

"You should keep Dueling, Mia." he said to her, "With just a bit more practice...I can look forward to dueling you again...at Duel Academy."

It's been a couple years since then...

But I haven't forgotten...

I'm coming for you...Zane Truesdale.

XXXXX

"It's your move applicant..." said the proctor as the brunette stood in silence with heavy blue eyes skimming the surface of each card she held in her slender fingers, "What are you going to do?"

This was the Entrance Exam to Duel Academy...

She had no intention of screwing up her chances of getting in to the top Duel School in the world.

"I'll tell you what I...am going to do." she spoke cooly. Her blue eyes sharp, and her hair, now long, dark, and flared out at the ends giving her an almost wind-blown posture, "...I am going to win." She stated, "By activating the effect of the Thunder Dragon I now hold in my hand...in order to pull the remaining two that I have in my deck and add them in exchange for discarding this one." she stated, "Next I will activate Polymerization from my hand and fuse my Thunder Dragons into...Twin headed Thunder Dragon!" she declared, her hair blowing wildly around her as her favorite and most powerful beast took to the field,"End of the line." she stated, "This duel is mine..." she blinked, "Now ATTACK!"

As she had claimed, victory was hers in the end.

"Well played, Applicant..." said the Proctor, "Welcome to the Academy."

"Wow, did you see that Zane?" asked a Bolnde in the high stands as she stood next to a taller, more stoic blue haired male beside her, "She was able to bust out that kick-butt monster as easily as you can summon out your Cyber Dragons, huh?" she blinked, "Be careful...you might just have some competition this year~" she snickered.

"I'm not worried in the slightest, Alexis." said Zane with a slight smile, "In fact...I look forward to it."

Down below the brunette stood. Her eyes shot up directly to where they stood. Completely unaware of their conversation about her...

She wasn't even focused on wanting to know.

The only thing she focused on now...was wanting to win.

I made it, Zane...as promised.

She thought to herself.

I practiced.
I fought.

And I won many championships since you shipped away to Duel Academy...

She blinked.

Well...now I'M here...

And I'm coming for you, Zane Truesdale.

To Be Continued...
