Tanya flew in and plunged her knife into Mary Sue's left eye. Victory was in her hand at last. After this battle, she would be promoted to general and sit back comfortably from the front line.

Mary Sue entered a state of shock. Seeing Tanya full of joy enraged her. With a scream of hatred, Mary Sue hugged Tanya and decided to detonate herself.

Tanya's eyes widened for a moment. It was the same trick Mary Sue's father tried. However, Tanya was prepared this time.

Without hesitation, Tanya plunged her knife over and over into both of Mary Sue's eyes. Mary Sue refused to let go and held on tight. Feeling the high concentration of magical energy, Tanya knew she was screwed.

"Fuck!"

Mary Sue detonated and blew Tanya to smithereens. Smoke filled the air. Mages gathered around to see what was left. When the smoke cleared, nothing was left. Visha and her comrades were in shock.

"Major!"

Somewhere far far away. In a city with a pentagram above the sky, something took shape in an alley. It looked to be a soldier wearing a classy uniform with a cap and a plain white mask as a face with golden hair

Tanya looked at her black-gloved hands and the puddle beside her. She was sure she had died. But it seems not. Her face seemed no longer human. The white mask grinned and laughed madly with hatred.

"Being X!!!"

Years passed by. Tanya was walking through a poor street. There were many desperate people around willing to do almost anything. Some flinched at the sight of her and ran. They had to keep struggling to uphold their contract if they didn't want Tanya to take their soul.

Behind Tanya was the princess of hell, who had been trying quite hard to get Tanya to release the souls she had. Tanya didn't like her for being an annoying pest. However, keeping a good relationship with her when her father was the ruler of hell was a good idea and not too much of a problem.

Today, Tanya was in these streets to collect a soul. The way she obtained souls was simple. Tanya would offer a sinner something and they would have to do something for her with their soul as collateral.

Most of the things sinners had to do for Tanya were simple and could easily be done. However, if they fail to do the things she asked of them, then their soul was hers.

Tanya arrived in front of a rickety house and knocked on it. She could hear rushing from the other side. An eye revealed itself from behind the eye hole in the door. They looked scared at the sight of Tanya until they saw Charlie.

Calmly, they opened the door. Behind was a sinner in the form of a she-wolf. Being a wolf in hell meant they preyed on others in their past life. Her name was Sherri and she gave Tanya and Charlie a bright smile.

"Sir Silver, I didn't think you would be arriving so early today. Greetings along with Princess Morningstar."

Sir Silver was the nickname of Tanya in Pentagram City. No one knew who Tanya was before she died. All they knew was that Sir Silver was a man of his word.

Tanya wanted to have a good reputation in Pentagram City. Unfortunately, a good reputation meant being scary. Tanya decided to juggle both. Her reputation was of an honest person who could be scary.

The reason Charlie followed Tanya around was because of some good she saw in Tanya. Many who made deals with Tanya didn't lose their soul and got to a better place than they originally were. You could lose your soul by making a deal with Tanya, but you could also succeed and not lose your soul. Tanya's business model ensured there were always sinners willing to make deals with her.

"Sherri, I'm sure you know what I'm here for right?"

Although Sherri was one of the many faces Tanya made deals with, she was one of the faces Tanya thought could uphold her end of the deal and wouldn't lose their soul.

Sherri looked fearfully at Tanya. A face that showed she wouldn't be able to uphold her deal.

"I'm sorry, there were loan sharks and I can't uphold my deal because of them. Please give me another chance."

Tanya frowned, loan sharks were quite a problem in Pentagram City. Many of the deals she made fell because of them.

If she took Sherri's soul, her relationship with Charlie would deteriorate. The big man Lucifer also had eyes on Tanya currently. It would be best to have Charlie as backup.

"How about this, I'll give you another month. If you fail again, your soul is mine okay? As for the loan sharks, I think it's time I clean up all of them."

Sherri's eyes shined.

"Thank you so much! I promise I won't fail you!"

Tanya and Charlie left the house. Charlie had a beaming smile on her face.

"Look at you, who said he was Mister No Good."

Tanya shook her head.

"If you were there, I'd have taken her soul."

There was a knowing look on Charlie's face.

"Oh, I don't know about that. I think you're lying."

Tanya wanted to sigh, sometimes, she thought Charlie had some kind of lie detection.

"Whatever you want to believe. Now, unless you want to see me kill loan sharks, I suggest you run along."

Charlie pouted at Tanya.

"I'm not a child, you know I'm hundreds of years old."

A smile formed on Tanya's face.

"And yet you still act like one."
