10 years have passed since Percy Jackson first arrived at the half-blood camp, and anyone would think that with that time and everything he has been through or faced there would be nothing that could surprise him, but then they would be wrong
The son of Poseidon and Sally Jackson may have faced gods, titans, monsters, beings from other pantheons, but even so, none of that could prepare him for the creativity that adolescent demigods can have in not having mortal dangers.
After the war with Gaia and the giants. A lot of things changed for Percy, starting with him and Annabeth, with how affected they were by their time in Tartarus, that they needed support to be able to overcome that trauma, Athena's daughter concentrated on her work as an architect of Olympus, on entering the university and this itself, on the other hand, he concentrated on training, improving the range and control over his powers, in addition to beginning to hunt the surviving monsters of the two wars so that the demigods would be in less danger.
Due to the latter, monster attacks decreased significantly for the demigods, so the younger ones and those who arrived after the war against Gaia have not had to face the same danger as their older brothers in the last 4/5 years, so they had very different ideas about what it was like to be a demigod, several of them were wrong or very reckless, even for him.

But back to the topic, only he and Miranda Gardiner were available, but they arrived two days later in which they arranged any pending business so they could come to the camp, they arrived together because Percy agreed to pick up Demeter's daughter on the way. I think we have a third of them" Demeter's chestnut daughter said just as tired as Percy, since she had been preparing magical herbal healing remedies non-stop, most of them being used for the demigods in worse condition who were given a large amount of ambrosia, both to heal their less serious wounds and so that they could consume more ambrosia without killing themselves on the spot until this ran out. "The others are almost cured... If we hadn't been longer to arrive, there would undoubtedly have been several deaths"
"I hope it helps them not to be such idiots again" said Percy annoyed and stressed, after all he and his cousin had not slept for 3 days, to be healing the other demigods, they may have both been only a few years older than the others, he was turning 23 in a few weeks, but he never caused a problem like this.

"36 hours. More or less," Miranda replied, changing his attitude, "My siblings, about 24 hours or so."
