Marinette Dupian-Cheng lay in her bed, holding an old tear Robin the Boy Wonder plushie. Only three people in all of Paris know that Marinette Dupian-Cheng isn't her real name. Her real name is Marinette Jasmine Todd. She was born in New Jersey, Gotham. She had a dad that died by working for the villain Penguin, and her mother left her when she was only six years old. Then her brother Jason Peter Todd, took on every responsibility to help his sister. When she was nine, her brother stole the tires of the Batmobile. Batman recruited him as the new Robin. They discover he is Bruce Wayne, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. His butler Alfred, also knows about his master endeavors. They met their new brother Richard 'Dick' Grayson, who had a rocky start, but loved them. His beautiful girlfriend Zatanna became like a sister to Marinette. Then everything changed, when the Clown Prince of Gotham Joker kidnapped Jason. He died in a explosion after being torture. Marinette was devastated, as Dick was so distraught that he broke up with Zatanna. After about a month, Dick brought in a new kid. Timothy 'Tim' Drake. He became the new Robin, but she warmed up to him eventually. Then everything started going downhill. Bruce was put on trial on a different planet, Dick became distant, and she was afraid to talk to Zatanna after the break up. Everyone discovers that Dick, Kaldur, Artemis, and Wally had a plan to infiltrate the Light. They won the battle but it cost a life. Wally West. Wally was like another brother to her, and helped with Jason's death. Dick left the team and disappeared. Even though Dick didn't tell her, she knew he was at Haly's circus. She talks to Zatanna, and tells her that he will never stop loving her. She was able to convince her to give Dick a second chance. She found a foreign exchange in Paris. She asked Bruce to go to help with all the loss.

But it didn't really help. A girl named Chloe Bourgeois, the mayor's daughter, bullied her horribly. Then a crazy power super villain appeared. She was granted the miraculous of creation. She became the superhero Ladybug. She has a partner, Chat Noir, but he wasn't serious. She was then made the new guardian of the miracle box, which is only added to her stress. Then this horrible girl named Lila Rossi showed up. She lied and manipulated her entire class and all the teachers. Very few believe her, about Lila. Then the villain Shadow Moth captures all the miraculous but hers and Chat Noir's. Her best friend in Paris, knows her identity as Ladybug, but not her old life.

She rolls over and picks up her phone. She dialed a number.

At 1:55 AM in Bludhaven, Dick Grayson's phone rang. The couple Dick Grayson and Zatanna Zatara groan as it rang.

"Someone better be dead or on fire", Zatanna groaned as she buried her head into her pillow.

"This better be good", he said, as he growled.

"Dick, sorry. I totally forgot about the time difference", he heard his sister's voice.

"Mari?", he said, as he was woken up.

Zatanna quickly sat up as her eyes widened.

"I can call you later."

"No, no, no. Right now is fine. What's wrong?"

"I just miss you guys."

"Mari, it's been three years. Come home. Everyone misses you."

"I have things to do here Dick."

"Marinette, we're also worried about you. Those attacks from Monarch in Paris. The Justice League, the Outsiders, and the Team want to investigate this."

"Tell them not to worry. Ladybug and Chat Noir will protect us."

"Mari I don't trust that Chat Noir guy, and Ladybug seems ready to collapse from everything."

"I got to go Dick. Love you", she said, then hung up.

Dick put down his phone as Zatanna lay her head on his chest.

"How is she?"

"She sounds stressed and depressed. I'm worried. I know I left after Wally's death, and left her alone to deal with that. I tried to convince her to come back home, after I came back."

She sat up and cupped his face.

"Okay, I was going to surprise you, but I think you need it now. I have a show in Paris next week. Aly told me the company will pay for the hotel for the next two weeks for us. We can see Marinette, spend time with her, and I was hoping she can design a new outfit for me."

"You are the best", he said, as he pecked her lips.

"I know", she said cheeky.

"I have to get her a gift, because she is the reason you gave me another chance."

"I got an idea", she said, then pulled him into a kiss.
