Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about RWBY. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own RWBY, Monty Oum, and Rooster Teeth do.

(Mistral.)

Rain. She felt rain atop her head as she stared into the sky while retreating. There were a lot more interesting things for her as she ran.

Shouts and screeches from behind her as she seemed to question what was to come if she stopped… If she dared wanted to stop at the time. she didn't, she had stared at them through the eyes of a 13-year-old girl one who had been treated as a thing, a person who needed to be caged.

Controlled. Her father didn't love her, she was only a trophy to him. Her mother wasn't much better. No, Trivia had no home. She didn't need one.

There were screeches and screams behind her as the soldiers from her father came. She didn't even turn to blink when it came down to it. There wouldn't be mercy if he caught her.

"Come back here you little brat!" Trivia heard as she ran into the rain, it seemed as if she had been interested.

She docked into the alley. It had become so easy to hide. All they saw was what they wanted. Just like with her, just like with ALL that her father wanted. He wasn't going to handle his little girl being rouge, because that wasn't what he wanted from her.

But she didn't care. She had wanted to be free; she had taken what she needed from him. The man-made cash from blood money, she didn't feel bad about it, only worried he'd notice and make it worse.

"Damn it!" One of the guards said as Trivia ducked into the alleyway. It had become down to happen. "We need to find the little brat before she gets away. Mr. Vanille is going to have our heads if we don't find her as of now. She had been when it comes down to it. There were a lot more places she can be hiding, spread out! Bring in the Bullhead if you need to, find the girl!" The soldier at the second.

Vanille. She had been part of that family the second before she had run. There was a lot more interesting thought on the second. She had been honestly prepared for this.

She watched the soldiers who had attacked her. It was something else at the time. something that hadn't defined her, something that took root in her. The more she handled it, the more it seemed to grow.

Triva's eyes widened as she realized what it was… Neo. The voice her father had tried to push down, control, rip apart. It had been something growing in her, something she didn't want to admit.

"Where is the little brat? She has to be around here somewhere. Find her!" She heard before she rolled her eyes, rolled them almost into her head. "Dogs, I don't care, bring her here!" She heard as she seemed to ponder what to do next.

She questioned what to do as of the now. She had been interested. It had honestly seemed to mesh within it seemed at the second. It had been so happy. She had been prepared to run for years. She hadn't been ready for whatever came after this. She had been too prepared for it.

There was a movement that made her turn, her hand on the small knife she had managed to smuggle from the house.

"No." She heard as she seemed to stare into the distance. "You are safe at the second. You… I think?" They added as if she seemed to bring a hand to his mouth a second.

She had been raising an eyebrow, yet he seemed to be… Different, she could only see shadows. He tugged at her arm gently. She said nothing and looked down the street and then back towards the figure. It was way too small to be one of her father's guards. It almost made her laugh if she wasn't trying to keep quiet despite his best efforts. This had to end at the time.

She let him tug her into the shadows. Anything was better than going home and she could turn them into mincemeat if she had to happen at the time. This wasn't going to end the way she wanted.

But it was the start of something new. Something grand and pretty.

Author Note

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be delayed. I based this story on the Roman Holiday book, but it will be different. The next chapter will show Trivia and the others escaping and setting up their connecting. The next chapter is in 2-10 months and will be 900-6500 words at the moment. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
